Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is (1) an increase in student learning outcomes using the jigsaw cooperative learning model. The study was conducted in two cycles with each cycle consisting of planning, action implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were 20 students of class XII of SMK Swadaya HKBP Pematangsiantar in the 2025/2026 academic year. The data sources used were informants, places or locations, events, documents or archives. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews, tests, questionnaires and documentation. Data validity used source triangulation techniques. Data analysis used qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results of the study showed that the religious learning outcomes of class XII students of SMK Swadaya HKBP Pematangsiantar experienced an increase after the implementation of the Jigsaw cooperative learning model. The method used in this study is an experiment, with a one group pretest-posttest design used to determine the effect of a treatment on the research subjects. The population of this study was class XII at SMK Swasta HKBP Pematangsiantar, with samples of class XII-TKJ and XII-KKY. The research data were obtained using a multiple-choice instrument of 20 questions and a pretest was conducted before learning and a posttest after learning. From the results of the study, an average pretest of 64.15 and a posttest of 92.5 was obtained. From the results of the hypothesis test, t_count > t_table at a significance level of 5% or 0.05, namely (4.49 > 1.70). Based on the results of the data analysis obtained, it can be concluded that learning with the jigsaw type cooperative learning model can improve student learning outcomes as seen from the increase in pretest and posttest scores.

Abstract

This Community Service (PkM) activity was held at the HKBP Nommensen Pulu Brayan Medan Church with the aim of increasing the creativity of Sunday School children through fun and interactive educational activities. This program is motivated by the importance of developing creativity and forming children's spiritual character from an early age through a more innovative learning approach in the church environment. The method used in this activity is an experiential learning approach that involves the active participation of children in various creative activities. The program was implemented by adjusting the developmental characteristics of the participants based on their grade level. The activities carried out included a competition to name the twelve disciples of the Lord Jesus for first grade elementary school students, a competition to decorate sketches using pipettes for second grade elementary school students, and a competition to name the fruits of the Spirit for third grade elementary school students. The results of the activities showed that the Sunday School children were enthusiastic and highly participated in every activity carried out. In addition to increasing spiritual understanding, this activity was also able to develop children's creative skills, courage, and fine motor skills. This program also had a positive impact on the church community by creating a more innovative learning atmosphere and establishing good social relationships between the implementing students and the church congregation. Thus, this Community Service (PkM) activity can be an effective creative learning model to support the development of children's creativity and character in the church environment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh implementasi model pembelajaran Tos (Teaching with Ordered Sequence of Pictures)  Gambar (picture and picture) terhadap peningkatan minat belajar Pendidikan Agama Kristen siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 1 Uuan. Latar belakang penelitian ini adaah rendahnya minat belajar siswa yang disebabkan kurangnya inovasi guru daam menerapkan model pembelajaran, sehingga masih dominan menggunakan metode ceramah. Jenis penelitian ini adaah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif korelasiona. Popuasi penelitian adaah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Uuan yang berjumlah 31 orang, sekaigus dijadikan sampel dengan teknik tota sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket tertutup dengan skaa Likert. Variabel bebas (X) adaah implementasi model pembelajaran Tos Gambar, sedangkan variabel terikat (Y) adaah minat belajar siswa. Anaisis data menggunakan uji vaiditas, reliabilitas, uji normaitas, koefisien korelasi, uji signifikansi, dan koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi model pembelajaran Tos Gambar berada pada kategori sangat berpengaruh, demikian pua minat belajar siswa juga berada pada kategori sangat berpengaruh. Uji korelasi diperoleh nilai r = 0,43 dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 18,5%, yang berarti implementasi model pembelajaran Tos Gambar memberikan pengaruh terhadap peningkatan minat belajar siswa, sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain.Dengan demikian dapat disimpukan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Tos Gambar berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap peningkatan minat belajar Pendidikan Agama Kristen siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 1 Uuan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kontekstual terhadap pembentukan karakter Kristiani siswa kelas XI di SMK Negeri 14 Medan. Karakter Kristiani yang dimaksud mencakup aspek iman kepada Tuhan, kasih kepada sesama, kejujuran, tanggung jawab, kedisiplinan, dan kerendahan hati. Permasalahan yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini adalah pendekatan pembelajaran konvensional yang belum optimal dalam membentuk karakter Kristiani, sehingga diperlukan model pembelajaran yang mampu mengaitkan materi pelajaran dengan konteks kehidupan nyata siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan inferensial. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 46 siswa kelas XI, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket tertutup dengan skala Likert yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Analisis data dilakukan melalui uji validitas, reliabilitas, normalitas, korelasi, regresi linier sederhana, uji t, dan uji determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran kontekstual memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pembentukan karakter Kristiani siswa. Nilai koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar 0,666 menunjukkan hubungan kuat antara model pembelajaran kontekstual dan karakter Kristiani. Hasil uji t menunjukkan thitung (5,828) > ttabel (2,018), yang berarti Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Nilai koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 44,4% mengindikasikan bahwa model pembelajaran kontekstual memberikan kontribusi sebesar 44,4% terhadap peningkatan karakter Kristiani siswa, sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi faktor lain. Secara kualitatif, penerapan pembelajaran kontekstual meningkatkan keaktifan siswa, kerja sama, refleksi diri, dan internalisasi nilai-nilai Kristiani dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

Program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini dilaksanakan di Gereja HKBP Pasar Barus Resort Barus pada tanggal 6–28 Februari 2026. Kegiatan ini bertujuan memberdayakan jemaat melalui pendidikan dan literasi rohani sebagai sarana pertumbuhan iman serta peningkatan kualitas pelayanan. Tantangan yang dihadapi jemaat antara lain rendahnya minat literasi rohani, kurangnya pemahaman Alkitab secara mendalam, serta terbatasnya kemampuan mengembangkan pelayanan gerejawi secara kreatif dan kontekstual. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan program, pengembangan iman, pendampingan dan praktik, serta monitoring. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman jemaat terhadap firman Tuhan secara kontekstual, peningkatan partisipasi dalam pelayanan, penguatan spiritualitas, dan antusiasme anak-anak dalam pelatihan musik organ. Program ini terbukti efektif sebagai strategi pemberdayaan jemaat yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to see the extent to which Podcast-Based Technology Influences Increasing Student Learning Motivation in the Field of Christian Religion Studies of Class XI of Imelda Vocational High School Medan with a sample of 30 people. This study uses a descriptive quantitative method with a data collection tool using a linkert scale questionnaire in the form of a checklist that has been tested for instrument validation. After the Pearson product moment correlation statistical test was carried out. From the results of the correlation test obtained (r) 0.69 with a determination test of 47.61% and to determine whether the correlation coefficient is significant or not at the level (a) = 0.05, a "t" test was conducted with the testing criteria if the t_count obtained from the calculation is greater (>) than t_table at a significance level of 1-0.05 with dk = n-2 then the hypothesis is accepted and in other cases rejected. From the test results obtained t_count > t_table (9.7> 1.70), then the hypothesis is accepted. Thus, a correlation can be found between the influence of podcast-based technology on improving student learning motivation in the field of Christian studies in grade 11 of SMKS Imelda Medan.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to see how the implementation of learning media based on the Canva application increases students' interest in learning in Christian religious learning in Class VIII SMP Marisi Medan with a total of 26 people. This research uses a descriptive method, while the data analysis carried out by hypothesis research is product moment person correlation and the data collection tool is a questionnaire. From the test results, a correlation (r) of 0.63 was obtained with a determination test of 39.69% and to determine whether the correlation coefficient was significant at the real level (a) = 0.05 then a "t" test was conducted with the testing criteria if tcount obtained from the calculation is greater (>) than ttable at a significance level of 1-0.05 with dk= n – 2 then the hypothesis is accepted and in other cases it is rejected. From the test results obtained tcount > ttable (3.98 > 1.71), then the hypothesis is accepted. Thus, a significant relationship can be found between the implementation of learning media based on the Canva application in increasing students' interest in learning in class VIII Christian religious education subjects at Marisi Medan Private Middle School.
