Abstract

Minimum Competency Assessment is currently one of the goals in achieving quality education. Minimum Competency Assessment is often associated with literacy and numeracy. It is a fundamental assessment of students' competencies to develop their inner abilities and participate in community social activities. This study aims to analyze the preparation of the Minimum Competency Assessment in primary schools through Numeracy Breakfast and Literacy Breakfast activities. The methods used in this research are observation, interview, and documentation methods with the subjects of elementary school students, teachers, and principals. The instrument used was an observation sheet. After the data is collected, it is then analyzed using the interactive analysis method with stages according to Miles and Huberman, namely reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions guided by the results of this study indicate that guidance and training activities to face the Minimum Competency Assessment, namely with the Numeracy Breakfast and Literacy Breakfast strategies starting from group formation, looking for reading books in the library, reading and numeracy activities, and writing activities. So, it can be concluded that the level of literacy and numeracy skills of students is still very low; in overcoming this problem, the researcher saw that the school implemented a literacy movement called Sarapan Numerik (SaNum) and Sarapan Literasi (SaLis). The Numeracy Breakfast and Literacy Breakfast activities are innovations in preparing for the Minimum Competency Assessment in Primary Schools.

Abstract

The literacy and numeracy skills of elementary school students are relatively low this is evidenced by the low standard scores of students. Teachers should know students' literacy and numeracy skills to make it easier to prepare for AKM, so that research is held on the use of Smart Apps Creator (SAC) media for analysis of literacy and numeracy skills. This study aims to analyses the implementation and results of the analysis of literacy and numeracy skills through the use of Smart Apps Creator (SAC) media. The type of research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of the study were the principal, the teacher of class V, and the students of class V. Data collection techniques are tests, interviews, observations, and documentation. Test the validity of the data using source triangulation and engineering triangulation. Analysis of research data is interactive analysis. The results of the study are first, the implementation of analysis activities includes three stages, namely the teacher preparation stage to prepare questions applied to the Smart Apps Creator (SAC) media, the implementation stage of students doing questions through the Smart Apps Creator (SAC) media, the final stage of the teacher analysing student score results. Second, the results of the analysis show most students have reached the minimum standards of educational units and class averages of categories in both literacy and numeracy aspects. The conclusion is Smart Apps Creator (SAC) help teacher to analyse literacy and numeracy skills. Therefore teachers should develop skills in the field of technology.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the effectiveness of technology-based curriculum on elementary school students' motivation and academic achievement. The method used in this study is literature review. The research procedure was conducted by gathering scientific articles from various sources, such as academic journals, books, and other relevant scholarly publications on the research topic. Data collection was systematically conducted using search engines such as Google Scholar and other research databases. The results of the study indicate that the integration of technology into elementary education curriculum has a significant positive impact on students' interest, motivation, and academic achievement.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the views of teachers who directly implement the independent curriculum in elementary schools. By using a qualitative approach. The research subjects were class I, II, IV and V teachers at SDN 01 Mojoroto. Data was collected using interview, observation and documentation techniques. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman technique, namely: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that teachers view positively and appreciate the flexibility and innovation opportunities offered by the independent curriculum. However, they also face challenges such as: understanding the curriculum, availability of resources or teaching materials, and administrative burden. With continued support from various parties, the challenges faced by teachers in implementing the independent curriculum can be overcome. Teachers' positive views on the implementation of the independent curriculum have an impact on improving the quality of learning. The students' responses were very positive, they were more enthusiastic in following the lessons because the learning method was more interactive and fun.

Abstract

This study aims to describe how the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka (Independent Curriculum) can improve literacy in elementary schools. The research method used is qualitative research with a descriptive qualitative approach through a literature review. This study identifies and analyzes relevant literature regarding the Kurikulum Merdeka and its impact on student literacy. The results show that the Kurikulum Merdeka has a positive impact on enhancing student literacy through several key aspects: improving literacy skills (reading, writing, and critical thinking), contextual learning relevant to everyday life, the use of technology to support learning, and the development of a literacy culture in schools. However, this study also reveals some challenges in its implementation, including the readiness of teachers and schools, access to technology, and limited resources. To address these challenges, effective strategies include teacher training and development, increasing the availability of resources, developing creative literacy programs, and using diverse evaluation methods. Thus, this study concludes that the Kurikulum Merdeka has great potential to improve literacy in elementary schools, but requires proper support and strategies to optimize the results.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how the development of the school curriculum can be carried out with the existence of superior programs, one of which is the tahfidz program. The type of research used in this article is qualitative research using library research method by adding some case studies or implementation examples that have been applied in several schools. Data collection is done by finding sources and reconstructing from various sources such as books, journals, and existing research. The results of this study explain that curriculum development is an important part of maintaining the existence of educational units in the face of changing times. The development of a curriculum with tahfidz excellence has had a real positive impact on students, teachers, parents and schools. The implementation of the Qur'an tahfidz program in education units must be adjusted to the conditions that exist in each education unit by considering all the possibilities and also the carrying capacity owned and the challenges that must be faced by the education unit.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum can enhance students' digital literacy skills and foster strong and positive character development. The research employs a literature review method to examine the role of the Merdeka Curriculum in developing digital literacy and student character. Literature review is a research method designed to collect, review, and analyze data or information from various sources, such as journals, books, articles, research reports, and other relevant documents. The study indicates that the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum positively contributes to optimizing digital literacy and character development among students. The use of New Media Theory highlights that digital literacy is an essential skill that students must master in the digital age. The Merdeka Curriculum effectively accommodates the ongoing advancements in information and communication technology, enabling students to keep pace with global developments.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of school principals in the development of multi-curriculum in elementary schools. The main focus of this research is to understand how principals design, implement, and evaluate multi-curriculum. Thus, the results of this study are expected to provide a deeper insight into the strategic role of principals in curriculum development and to offer practical recommendations that can be applied to improve the quality of education in elementary schools. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah (MIM) Caruban, Madiun City. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The subjects of the study include the principal, teachers, students, and parents. Data analysis was conducted through steps of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions with verification. The findings reveal that the principal plays a crucial role in the development of multi-curriculum, which includes planning, implementation, and evaluation. The principal collaborates with the teaching team to design an integrative curriculum, facilitates its implementation by providing resources and training, and conducts periodic evaluations to ensure the curriculum's effectiveness. The experience of MIM Caruban shows that visionary leadership and strong collaboration among all school stakeholders are essential for the successful implementation of multi-curriculum.

Abstract

Proses pemecahan masalah merupakan bagian penting yang tidak terpisahkan dalam proses pembelajaran matematika. Rendahnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis merupakan permasalahan yang ditemukan di SDN Cemara Dua, untuk itu pemilihan model pembelajaran dan penggunaan media pembelajaran yang tepat sangat diperlukan untuk ketercapaian keberhasilan pembelajaran. Model Problem Based Learning merupakan model pembelajaran yang akan menghadapkan masalah kepada siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Sehingga, model pembelajaran ini akan menuntut siswa untuk dapat menggunakan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi, terutama dalam kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Media Quizziz merupakan multimedia interaktif berbasis teknologi yang memiliki fitur-fitur menarik yang dapat membantu meningkatkan semangat belajar siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dengan menerapkan model Problem Based Learning berbantu Quizziz pada materi kalimat matematika dan perhitungan di kelas IVD SDN Cemara Dua tahun pelajaran 2023/2024. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas model Kemmis & Mc. Taggart yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dengan masing-masing dua pertemuan setiap siklusnya. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan pedoman wawancara, pedoman observasi, dan tes. Berdasarkan penelitian, diperoleh hasil terdapat peningkatan persentase tuntas belajar dari siklus I yaitu 76,9% menjadi 88,4% pada siklus II. Selain itu, terjadi peningkatan aktivitas guru dan siswa dalam pembelajaran pada setiap siklusnya. Aktivitas siswa pada siklus I sebesar 72,7% menjadi 90% pada siklus II. Sedangkan aktivitas guru pada siklus I sebesar 79,5% menjadi 90% pada siklus II.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the curriculum in Al-Qur'an learning at MI Muhammadiyah Dolopo, develop a concept for optimizing the implementation of the curriculum in Al-Qur'an learning at MI Muhammadiyah Dolopo, describe the learning process and the academic achievements of students in Al-Qur'an learning at MI Muhammadiyah Dolopo. This study uses a qualitative naturalism methodology, including participant observation, in-depth interviews, and document tracing as data collection techniques. The three stages of activities consist of data analysis techniques using qualitative descriptive methods: reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the Al-Qur'an learning curriculum at MI Muhammadiyah Dolopo has been running well but still requires some improvements to achieve optimal results. One of the challenges faced is the lack of adequate resources and facilities. The study also found that support from parents and the surrounding community is very important for the success of the Al-Qur'an learning program. Optimization can be achieved through improving the quality of teachers and providing better learning facilities.
