Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of the entrepreneurship education curriculum for early childhood at TK 'Aisyiyah 18 Kota Madiun. The implemented Merdeka Curriculum emphasizes the development of physical, cognitive, creative, socio-emotional, language, and communication aspects while considering individual differences among children. TK 'Aisyiyah 18 is known for its unique entrepreneurship program, which aims to instill an entrepreneurial spirit from an early age by emulating Prophet Muhammad SAW. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. The results indicate that the entrepreneurship program at TK 'Aisyiyah 18 successfully instills values of independence, honesty, and self-confidence in children. Supporting factors for the program's success include a conducive school environment, competent educators, and active parental involvement. Challenges in implementation include integrating entrepreneurial values into enjoyable learning themes for children.

Abstract

Literacy in reading and writing Javanese script among elementary school students remains low, primarily due to unengaging learning media and limited student motivation. To address this issue, this study explores the implementation of SIDORAWA (Sinau Karo Dolanan Aksara Jawa), an interactive multimedia application designed to enhance Javanese script literacy. A qualitative case study was conducted at Aisyiyah Surya Ceria Islamic Elementary School involving 28 fourth-grade students. Data were collected through interviews, classroom observations, and documentation. The Miles and Huberman interactive model was used for data analysis, and data validity was ensured through triangulation of techniques and sources. Findings indicate that SIDORAWA effectively improved students’ ability to read and write Javanese script. The application integrates visual, auditory, and interactive elements—including animations, sound, and culturally nuanced games—that enhance engagement and comprehension. Students showed increased motivation, active participation, and improved literacy outcomes, with reading and writing proficiency rising significantly after implementation. SIDORAWA not only supports academic literacy but also fosters digital and cultural literacy by embedding local cultural elements into the learning process. Although the study demonstrates positive outcomes, its scope is limited to a single class and school. Broader implementation across different contexts and integration into blended learning environments is recommended. Additionally, ongoing support through teacher training, infrastructure, and feature development is essential for maximizing its educational impact.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran kegiatan kokurikuler dalam mendukung pembudayaan deep learning di SDN 02 Karang, Karangpandan, Karanganyar, serta mengidentifikasi tantangan dan solusi dalam pembudayaannya. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, dengan validasi menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan metode. Analisis data dilakukan dengan model analisis interaktif Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi tiga tahapan utama, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan kokurikuler seperti pramuka, seni tari, dan klub sains berperan dalam mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis, kreatif, dan kolaboratif siswa. Tantangan yang dihadapi termasuk keterbatasan sumber daya, kurangnya pelatihan guru, dan resistensi terhadap perubahan metode. Solusi yang diusulkan meliputi peningkatan pelatihan guru, pengelolaan kegiatan kokurikuler yang lebih terstruktur, dan peningkatan kesadaran tentang pentingnya deep learning. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan untuk pengembangan kurikulum yang lebih efektif di pendidikan dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan Game Based Learning (GBL) terintegrasi Clash Of Champions (COC) sebagai upaya penguatan keterampilan berbahasa siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, dilaksanakan di kelas IV SD Negeri 01 Bolon. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi partisipatif dan dokumentasi kemudian dianalisis secara interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sintaks GBL terintegrasi COC dapat diterapkan secara sistematis dan konsisten dengan mengakomodasi tiga tahap inti COC (Memorize, Recall, Examine) ke dalam aktivitas pembelajaran. Penerapan model ini membentuk suasana pembelajaran yang interaktif, kolaboratif, dan menyenangkan. Keterampilan berbahasa siswa, khususnya menyimak, berbicara, membaca, dan mempresentasikan, terfasilitasi melalui berbagai aktivitas berbasis permainan yang kontekstual, sementara keterampilan menulis dan memirsa belum terakomodasi secara optimal dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran.Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi kebaruan dengan mengadaptasi mekanisme kompetitif COC dari bidang IPAS dan Matematika ke dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, sekaligus menawarkan alternatif strategi pembelajaran yang relevan dan berpusat pada siswa.

Abstract

Financial literacy is an important skill that needs to be introduced from an early age so that children are able to manage their finances wisely in the future. Children's storybooks are a potential medium for installing the concept of financial literacy in a contextual manner that is appropriate for children's cognitive development. Current research focuses heavily on financial literacy in print books, teaching materials, and other media. Research on financial literacy in online media remains limited. The purpose of this study is to describe financial literacy and identify forms of financial literacy in children's storybooks for early readers at levels B1, B2, and B3 at SIBI Kemendikbud. This study uses a qualitative approach with content analysis. The data sources were two children's storybooks, namely Tiup! Tiup! (level B2) and Ini atau Itu? (level B3). The research instruments were compiled based on financial literacy indicators, which included earning money, saving, spending, donating, managing finances, and distinguishing between needs and wants. The results of the study show that the book Tiup! Tiup! emphasizes the aspects of saving, spending in a planned manner, and simple financial management, but does not yet show the process of earning money and donating. Meanwhile, the book Ini atau Itu? contains more diverse financial literacy indicators, including earning money through business and the ability to distinguish between needs and wants. Neither book explicitly includes the aspect of giving. These results underscore the importance of developing children's storybooks that not only present engaging narratives but also integrate financial literacy in a balanced way appropriate to the child's stage of development.

Abstract

This study investigates the transformational leadership practices of elementary school principals in the context of human resource management, an area often overlooked compared to organizational or corporate settings. Conducted at an Indonesian Muhammadiyah Elementary School. This ethnographic qualitative research explores the cultural dynamics and leadership behaviors influencing the management of school personnel. Participants included the principal, curriculum coordinator, facilities staff, treasurer, teachers across grades I–VI, school employees, and grade VI students. Data were gathered through observation, interviews, and document analysis, and analyzed via data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the principal exhibits a blend of democratic, visionary, and semi-authoritarian leadership styles. Notably, transformational leadership was enacted through inspirational motivation and idealized influence, demonstrated via multimedia, storytelling, and structured spiritual routines. The principal communicated the school’s vision and mission clearly, serving as a role model while initiating various human resource development initiatives—such as refining standard operating procedures (SOPs), enhancing teacher and staff competencies, improving academic performance, and expanding professional networks. The study underscores that the principal’s effective transformational leadership significantly contributes to elevating teacher motivation, enthusiasm, achievement, and performance, ultimately enhancing the overall educational quality at the school.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan literasi digital painting Canva dalam mengembangkan kreativitas peserta didik menulis teks pendek mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di tingkat Sekolah Dasar dan sejauh manakah hasil penggunaan literasi digital Canva sebagai kreativitas peserta didik dalam menulis teks pendek dalam mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di tingkat Sekolah Dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan objek utama yaitu penerapan aplikasi Canva dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia khususnya literasi digital. Penelitian ini akan berfokus pada peserta didik kelas V yang nantinya akan menggunakan aplikasi canva dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Data penelitian ini terdiri atas dua kategori utama yang relevan, yaitu implementasi literasi digital dan kemampuan literasi digital setelah diberikan perlakuan. Sumber data penelitian ini akan meliputi hasil wawancara serta dokumentasi pendukung berdasarkan pada hasil observasi yang dilaksanakan. Selanjutnya adalah proses analisis data yang akan dilaksanakan meggunakan teknik analisis Miles dan Huberman. Adapun hasil yang ditemukan adalah 1) penggunaan Canva sebagai media literasi digital painting memberikan dampak yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SD ICT Al-Abidin dan peningkatan kreativitas peserta didik, terutama dalam menulis teks pendek; 2) Peserta didik tidak hanya menulis deskripsi tentang hobi mereka, tetapi juga memanfaatkan elemen grafis untuk memperkuat pesan yang ingin mereka sampaikan.

Abstract

Science learning in the independent curriculum seems to still stand alone, is oriented cognitive learning outcomes, does not relate to social issues, and is not yet oriented towards scientific literacy. In the field, there is no yet available natural and social science learning model framework that structurally involved social, ethical and moral issues, through a Socio Scientific Issues (SSI) approach that is applicable to educational practitioners. This research aims to produce a framework for a natural and social science (IPAS) learning model based on Socio Scientific Issues (SSI) approach to strengthen students' scientific literacy in elementary school. This Design Based Research (DBR) was carried out through stages problem identification and analysis; design; testing and evaluation); and reflection. This research involved teachers and students of grade IV Islamic elementary schools in Kartasura, Sukoharjo, were taken using purposive sampling. The model validity test was carried out by experts in the fields of learning models, content and language. The resulting IPAS learning model based on Socio Scientific Issues (SSI) approach framework has a validity of 99.2% (very valid) and a learning tool of 96.5% (very valid). This model is very practical to implement (score 86%), and is quite effective in strengthening the scientific literacy of elementary school students. This model is suitable for application at other elementary school levels in a wider scope, with careful planning in terms of infrastructure and time management.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to examine the implementation of Market Day activities in strengthening entrepreneurial literacy in elementary school students. The research used a qualitative method with a case study approach. It was conducted at Muhammadiyah Alam Surya Mentari Elementary School in Surakarta, involving classroom teachers and students as primary informants. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. Their validity was then tested using triangulation techniques and sources. They were then analyzed continuously through a process of organizing data, interpreting findings, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that Market Day activities were implemented in a structured and integrated manner through planning, implementation, and evaluation stages, emphasizing the principles of meaningful, mindful, and joyful learning as the main characteristics of the deep learning approach. The implementation of these activities provided authentic and contextual learning experiences for students and contributed to strengthening entrepreneurial literacy holistically, encompassing aspects of knowledge, attitudes, and skills. In terms of knowledge, students understand basic entrepreneurial concepts such as capital, profit, and the buying and selling process. In terms of attitude, they can foster self-confidence, responsibility, honesty, and courage in decision-making. Meanwhile, in terms of skills, students demonstrate development in communication, collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving skills through experience-based entrepreneurial practices. Thus, Market Day activities based on a deep learning approach are effectively implemented as a contextual, meaningful, and sustainable entrepreneurship learning strategy in elementary schools. Keyword: Deep Learning, Entrepreneurship Literacy, Market Day Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji implementasi kegiatan Market Day dalam memperkuat literasi kewirausahaan peserta didik sekolah dasar. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus yang dilaksanakan di SD Muhammadiyah Alam Surya Mentari, Surakarta, dengan melibatkan guru kelas dan peserta didik sebagai informan utama. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian diuji keabsahannya menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan sumber, serta dianalisis secara berkelanjutan melalui proses pengorganisasian data, pemaknaan temuan, dan penarikan simpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kegiatan Market Day dilaksanakan secara terstruktur dan terintegrasi melalui tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi dengan mengedepankan prinsip meaningful learning, mindful learning, dan joyful learning sebagai ciri utama pendekatan deep learning. Implementasi kegiatan tersebut memberikan pengalaman belajar yang autentik dan kontekstual bagi peserta didik serta berkontribusi dalam memperkuat literasi kewirausahaan secara holistik, meliputi aspek pengetahuan, sikap, dan keterampilan. Aspek pengetahuan, peserta didik memahami konsep dasar kewirausahaan seperti modal, keuntungan, dan proses jual beli. Pada aspek sikap, dapat menumbuhkan kepercayaan diri, tanggung jawab, kejujuran, dan keberanian dalam mengambil keputusan. Sementara itu, pada aspek keterampilan, peserta didik menunjukkan perkembangan kemampuan komunikasi, kolaborasi, kreativitas, dan pemecahan masalah melalui praktik kewirausahaan berbasis pengalaman. Dengan demikian, kegiatan Market Day berbasis pendekatan deep learning efektif diterapkan sebagai strategi pembelajaran kewirausahaan di sekolah dasar secara kontekstual, bermakna, dan berkelanjutan.
