Abstract

Grapes are one of the important horticultural commodities in Indonesia, but their productivity is often disrupted by leaf diseases that affect both the quality and quantity of the harvest. Manual disease identification remains time-consuming, requires specialized expertise, and often results in inconsistent diagnoses. Challenges such as fatigue, varying levels of experience, and visual differences in leaf diseases hinder the ability to perform fast and accurate diagnosis. Therefore, this study focuses on developing an automatic grape leaf disease classification model using the Radial Basis Function Neural Networks (RBFNN) algorithm. The model utilizes color feature extraction through Mean Color to detect changes in the color distribution of infected leaves, as well as GLCM (Gray Level Co-occurrence Matrix) to analyze texture patterns that serve as disease indicators. The classification process is conducted by the RBFNN algorithm, which calculates the distance between inputs and neuron centers using radial basis functions in the hidden layer. The results of this study show that the model is capable of classifying grape leaf diseases with an overall accuracy of 92.5%, indicating that the model is highly effective in detecting and classifying both healthy and infected leaves with minimal errors.

Abstract

This study discusses the development of a mobile application called LactoMeal, which is specifically designed to assist breastfeeding mothers in organizing and processing food materials to meet the nutritional needs of both the mother and baby. The application was built using an inclusive design that adheres to WCAG accessibility standards. The SDLC prototype development model was chosen for use in this application because it allows for quick and flexible changes during the development process. To evaluate the usability of the application, this study used the System Usability Scale (SUS) with the participation of 51 users. The evaluation results showed an average SUS score of 71.127, indicating that the LactoMeal application is acceptable and has the potential to help breastfeeding mothers in organizing food materials. However, improvements are still needed in some aspects to enhance the quality of the application's usability.

Abstract

Secretarial management in village organizations is an important part of the sustainability of its operations because the management of activities and documentation containing information functions as a set of assets for the organization. Thus, a systematic approach to secretarial management facilitates the process of searching and retrieving documents when needed. However, several village organizations, such as Ikatan Pemuda Pemudi Banjarsari (IPPB), still manage documents manually, which can increase the risk of losing documents due to irregular storage. Referring to this problem, is the basis for the need for community service activities in the IPPB organization to implement a more modern and organized document management system through the Android-based E-Archive application. The activity methodology is based on organizational participation and empowerment, with the main priority being the needs of the community or organization. The implementation of PKM began with participants installing E-Archive on their respective devices, followed by demonstration assistance, and Q&A. The results of this service went smoothly, with this activity attended by representatives of organizational advisors and IPPB core administrators. Assistance focused on installing the application has been successfully carried out on each device, and its management has been carried out successfully according to its features. The facilities provided by multi-user E-Archive allow use according to each role in the IPPB organization. The presence of E-Archive technology solutions with IPPB secretarial management is more efficient because it can be easily accessed via smartphone and provides better storage space compared to manual document storage methods.

Abstract

People with color blindness often experience difficulties when accessing a system and must spend extra effort to distinguish several elements related to color. To help people with color blindness understand information from the visual elements of an information system, especially those provided by universities, research has been carried out to develop an information system framework that can be widely utilized by applying an inclusive design approach. Development of information systems using an inclusive design approach using the SDLC prototyping model and testing people with color blindness using surveys and semi-structured interviews to assess the usability of the information system. Usability measurement uses heuristic evaluation which includes ten aspects, namely visibility of system status, suitability of the system with the real world, user control and freedom, consistency and standards, error prevention, recognition than recall, flexibility and efficiency of use, aesthetics and minimalist design, user identification support, help, and documentation. The results obtained from this study are that the developed information system gets an average percentage score of 86.40% so it is grouped in the "Very Good" category.

Abstract

Para petani masih sering mengalami kendala pada proses pemeliharaan tanaman cabai, petani masih sering menemui kendala penyakit sehingga sangat merugikan petani karena hasil panen yang tidak maksimal. Kurangnya pengetahuan petani cabai terhadap penyakit cabai dan cara penanggulangannya masih menjadi permasalahan dalam proses pemeliharaan tanaman cabai. Perancangan interface sistem pakar diagnosa penyakit tanaman cabai ini menggunakan metode alur maju (forward chaining) sebagai representasi pengetahuan permasalan. Sistem pakar tanaman cabai menggunakan metode Extreme Programing (XP) yang telah disesuaikan pada penyakit tanaman cabai dengan jumlah 15 gejala, 5 penyakit, dan 5 solusi. Sistem Pakar tanaman cabai ini dibuat dengan bahasa pemrograman PHP (Hypertext Prepocessor) dan berbasis web sehingga dapat di jalankan pada browser apapun tanpa harus menginstall aplikasinya. Adapun kesimpulan yang diperoleh yaitu aplikasi system pakar ini dapat memudahkan petani cabai agar dapat memahami bagaimana cara mendiagnosa dan penanganan penyakit pada saat menanam tanaman cabai.

Abstract

Apple cultivation is crucial to agricultural economies, particularly in regions with sub-tropical climates, such as Indonesia, where apple farming is expanding rapidly. However, managing diseases and pests is essential for maintaining optimal crop yields, as they can significantly reduce production. Among the common diseases affecting apple trees are Scab, Black Rot, and Cedar Apple Rust, which primarily impact leaves and threaten the total health of the plant. Therefore, this research aimed to develop an effective model for detecting apple leaf diseases using the architectural YOLOv5 Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs). The analysis was conducted between November 2022 and February 2023 at the Smart City Information System (SIKC) laboratory, including 120 apple leaf samples collected from Tawangmangu. Additionally, secondary data containing 30 images for each disease category, consisting of Healthy, Scab, Black Rot, and Cedar Apple Rust, were used as a benchmark. The performance of YOLOv5 was evaluated based on several metrics, including Precision, Recall, mAP@0.5, and mAP@0.5:0.95. The results showed that Cedar Apple Rust was the most prevalent disease identified among the samples. YOLOv5 performed exceptionally well in detecting disease symptoms, achieving a Precision score of 0.810, Recall of 0.981, mAP@0.5 of 0.950, and mAP@0.5:0.95 of 0.765 on the test dataset. These results showed that the proposed model was highly accurate and reliable for the early detection of apple leaf diseases, offering significant potential for improving disease management strategies and increasing the efficiency of apple production.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat bertujuan untuk mempersiapkan petani cabai jamu di GapoktanGudangharjo, Wonogiri dalam mengajukan sertifikasi produk organik. Adapun rangkaian kegiatan yangdilaksanakan yaitu sosialisasi, pembentukan ICS (internal control system), pengembangan SPMO (sistempenjaminan mutu organik), dan diseminasi SPMO. Inovasi digital melalui pengembangan SPMO bertujuan untuk membantu pengelolaan budidaya organik yang lebih efisien dan terstandar. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa SPMO mampu meningkatkan pemahaman dan kemampuan petani serta pengurus ICS dalam menerapkan praktikpraktik budidaya berbasis organik. Selain itu, penggunaan SPMO sebagai alat digital terbukti mempermudah proses pengelolaan data dan pelaporan, sekaligus memastikan konsistensi penerapan standar mutu organik. Keberhasilan kegiatan ini menegaskan pentingnya inovasi digital dalam mendukung sistem pertanian berkelanjutan yang berbasis pada standar mutu organik. Rekomendasi yang dihasilkan mencakup pendampingan lanjutan dalam penggunaan SPMO dan penguatan kapasitas petani dalam memenuhi persyaratan sertifikasi organik, sehingga mampu meningkatkan keberlanjutan ekonomi dan lingkungan di wilayah Kabupaten Wonogiri.

Abstract

Balai Desa Karangsari di Kecamatan Jatiyoso, Kabupaten Karanganyar, dalam meningkatkan pendapatan desa memiliki usaha berupa internet mandiri. Internet ini berasal dari internet service provider (ISP) swasta yang mana untuk penyaluran koneksi ke end user BUMDES karangsari mengelola jaringan kabel atau nirkabel secara mandiri. Jaringan Kabel yang digunakan berupa Fiber to the home (FTTH) sebagai media dalam pendistribusian koneksi internet. Selain menggunakan FTTH, untuk lokasi yang masih belum terjangkau oleh fiber optik, desa karangsari menggunakan media wireless untuk melakukan Point to point (PTP) atau point to multipoint (PTMP) agar dapat menghubungkan kawasan atau daerah yang belum dapat terjangkau oleh kabel tersebut. BUMDES karangsari memiliki mini server berupa Mikrotik yang digunakan untuk mengelola dan memonitoring koneksi internet. Saat ini user atau pengguna yang dikelola BUMDES karangsari sudah lebih dari 1000 user yang terbagi kedalam 3 server. Dengan resource server yang terbatas untuk dapat mengelola koneksi internet dengan baik maka perlu dilakukan manajemen user sebaik mungkin guna meningkatkan stabilitas internet yang ada. Manajemen user yang dilakukan pada server BUMDES Karangsari saat ini masih menggunakan manajemen default atau standar Mikrotik baik dari limitasi ataupun konfigurasi lainnya. Maka perlu dilakukan manajemen QOS lebih lanjut untuk mendapatkan koneksi yang baik mengingat jumlah user semakin banyak. Manajemen QOS yang dilakukan berupa konfigurasi QOS Priority yang mana koneksi-koneksi tertentu akan dipisah dan diprioritaskan seperti koneksi DNS, PING, Game, Aplikasi online dan lain sebagainya sehingga jika koneksi internet BUMDES Karangsari dalam posisi Peak masih nyaman untuk digunakan. Dengan adanya manajemen user yang baik diharapkan pengguna internet Desa karangsari bisa meningkat dan dapat menjadi tambahan pendapatan desa dan menjadi desa yang mandiri secara koneksi internet dan finansial.

Abstract

Stunting in toddlers remains a serious global health issue with long-term impacts on children's physical and cognitive development. One of the main challenges in classifying nutritional status is class imbalance, where the number of normal cases significantly exceeds that of minority classes such as stunted and severely stunted. This study aims to develop a hybrid approach by integrating the Gradient Boosting algorithm with the SMOTE-ENN (Synthetic Minority Oversampling Technique–Edited Nearest Neighbors) method to improve classification performance on imbalanced data. The dataset used was obtained from the Kaggle platform, consisting of 121,000 entries with four nutritional status categories. Data preprocessing included label encoding, numerical feature standardization, and stratified data splitting with an 80:20 ratio. The model was evaluated using accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score, and ROC-AUC metrics. The proposed hybrid model successfully increased the recall for the stunted class from 61.80% to 98.41%, and the F1-score from 71.93% to 83.58%. Overall accuracy improved from 92.39% to 93.35%, while the ROC-AUC score increased from 99.08% to 99.63%. These findings demonstrate that integrating Gradient Boosting with SMOTE-ENN is effective in enhancing sensitivity to minority classes and improving overall multi-class classification performance.

Abstract

This disruptive era, tourist villages must adapt to technological advancements to innovate and drive the digitalization of these villages. Data processing, speed, and clarity of information can be utilized for the development of smart village tourism, where innovation and technology become the main drivers of transformation. The smart city concept can be adopted in the development of smart village tourism to enhance sustainability in tourist villages. A deep and ongoing study of the potential and local wisdom of rural communities is a key factor in the development of smart village tourism. This research serves as a preliminary study in the context of smart village tourism. The aim of this study is to formulate a development model for smart village tourism based on the identification and analysis of the barriers and facilitators in adopting the smart city perspective. The case studies involve two tourist villages in Boyolali Regency. The data analysis method uses SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats). SWOT analysis is useful for evaluating various aspects of tourist villages and identifying strategies that can be implemented for development and improvement. These findings represent an initial step towards formulating the development of smart village tourism by adopting a smart city perspective based on an ICT model, aligned with local potential and wisdom as key factors for the sustainability of tourist villages.
