Abstract

Nutritional problems become a complex problem for children. This study aims to provide an in-depth description and analysis of parents' understanding of fulfilling balanced nutrition through preparing lunch boxes for group B children. This type of research is a case study qualitative research. The subjects in this study were the school principal, homeroom teacher in class B-1, homeroom teacher in class B-2, and parents. Data collection in this study was carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques use data triangulation techniques. Based on the results of data analysis, several findings were obtained in this study. First, the contents of the children's lunch box used healthy and nutritious food, but different from the balanced nutritional standards needed by children. Both parents' understanding of balanced nutrition is quite good. It can be seen in parents’ awareness of preparing their children's lunch. Third, the role of schools is very good in supporting the development and introduction of nutrition for parents and children. From these three findings, it can be concluded that children's lunch boxes contain healthy and nutritious food. It is related to the level of parents’ understanding and good support from schools regarding the development and introduction of nutrition for children.

Abstract

Kemampuan HOTS (High Order Thinking Skill) belum berkembang secara optimal karena metode yang digunakan kurang tepat sehingga anak tidak dapat mengembangkan kemampuan HOTS (High Order Thinking Skill). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh eksperimen sains menggunakan Project Based Learning terhadap kemampuan HOTS (High Order Thinking Skill) kelompok usia 5 sampai 6 tahun. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode quasi eksperimen yang menggunakan Non-Equivalent Control Group Design yaitu desain yang hampir sama dengan desain pretest-posttest kontrol group design dimana pengambilan sampel ditentukan secara acak. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa eksperimen sains dengan menggunakan Project Based Learning berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan HOTS (High Order Thinking Skill) pada kelompok usia 5 sampai 6 tahun. Rata-rata HOTS (High Order Thinking Skill) pada kelompok eksperimen adalah 59,08 dari nilai rata-rata sebelumnya 34,30, dan pada kelompok kontrol yang memiliki nilai rata-rata 38,50 dari rata-rata sebelumnya 36,50. Pengujian hipotesis menunjukan ada pengaruh yang signifikan dari percobaan sains menggunakan project based learning. ilmiah menggunakan Project Pembelajaran Berbasis HOTS (High Order Thinking Skills). Disimpulkan percobaan sains menggunakan project based learning dapat meningkatkan kemampuan HOTS pada anak usia dini.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kepercayaan diri, kepercayaan diri yang dimaksud yaitu kesadaran diri anak, rasa tanggung jawab, dan perilaku prososial. Dari permasalahan tersebut perlu diberikan metode mengajar yang baru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kegiatan tari kreasi terhadap kepercayaan diri anak kelompok B. Jenis penelitian yang dilaksanakan merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan penelitian pretest-posttest control group design.  Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelompok B. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu siswa dari kelompok B1 dan B2 dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 28 orang sebagai kelompok eksperimen dengan penerapan tari kreasi, sedangkan kelompok B5 dan B6 dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 24 orang digunakan sebagai kelompok kontrol. Data hasil kepercayaan diri anak dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan instrumen berupa lembar observasi. Selanjutnya di analisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif dan inferensial (Uji-t). Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan kegiatan seni tari kreasi terhadap kepercayaan diri anak kelompok B. Selain itu, berdasarkan analisis deskriptif diperoleh skor rata-rata kelompok eksperiman lebih besar dari skor rata-rata kelompok control. Disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan seni tari kreasi dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan diri anak kelompok B.

Abstract

Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) of Fairclough was employed to analyze discourse regarding cyberbullying on Millen Cyrus's Instagram account, which has claimed herself as transgender. Most of the comments show negative responses. Some linguistic features are analyzed, such as 'bro,' 'laki,' 'tulen,' 'banci,' and many more, which refer to cyberbullying. With the sophisticated features of Instagram, it is no wonder that news could get about quickly. In the context of the situation, Millen could not avoid any attention from the media and the public as she is a part of Ashanty's family, an Indonesian singer and socialite. At the instructional level, it is easy to get more exposure from others since her account has been verified by Instagram, including Millen's followers and non-followers, as people quickly found her posts on the explore feature. The act of some people who put comments on a transgender account, like what they have done to Millen Cyrus, has also evidenced that their discourse is influenced by the existence of their culture, religion, family background, and so on.

Abstract

The ability to think critically is one of the required skills that must be possessed by 21st century students. However, existing learning in schools still does not use learning models that are able to hone students' thinking abilities and does not involve students actively in learning material in class. This research aims to determine the effect of using the Problem Based Learning model assisted by mind mapping on critical thinking skills in science in class V students. The population in this research is class V elementary school students. The sample was selected using a random sampling technique where the experimental class consisted of 30 students and the control class consisted of 26 students. The data collection method in this research uses a test method with 30 questions. The data obtained was then analyzed using the t-test. Based on the results of data analysis, tcount (1.743) is greater than ttable (1.297), so it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. It was concluded that there was an influence of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model assisted by mind mapping on the science critical thinking abilities of fifth grade elementary school students.

Abstract

Studi ini dilatar belakangi oleh sebagian atau 50% siswa belum aktif sehingga suasana dalam belajar kurang dinamis. Penelitian pengembangan ini memiliki tujuan yakni menganalisis efektivitas media pembelajaran berbasis Augmented reality untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas V SD. Studi pengembangan ini mempergunakan model ADDIE. Pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuesioner/angket. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Studi ini mengambil subjek media pembelajaran berbasis Augmented Reality, sedangkan objek penelitian pengembangan adalah validitas media, materi, respon pengguna, dan efektivitas media.  Hasil menunjukaan bahwa (1) penelitian pengembangan berhasil menghasilkan media pembelajaran berbasis Augmented reality untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa sekolah dasar; (2) indeks validasi media dengan kualifikasi validitas sangat tinggi dan analisis kelayakan ahli materi memperoleh indeks validitas sebesar 0,96 dengan kualifikasi validas sangat tinggi; (3) tingkat pencapaian respon guru, dan kelompok kecil (siswa) dengan kualifikasi sangat baik; dan (4) nilai signifikasi  pada uji-t berkorelasi menunjukan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis Augmented reality efektif untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Dengan adanya media berbasis augmented reality dapat menambah variasi media berbasis teknologi bagi guru dan bisa digunakan secara daring maupun luring.

Abstract

One of the demands of 21st century skills is the ability to think critically and problem solve. However, the implementation of science learning in elementary schools is still not optimal, indicated by the learning activites that is less student-oriented and has not stimulated students to think at a high level (HOTS). This study aims to develop HOTS-based LKPD. This type of research is development research using ADDIE modeling with five stages as follows analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subject of this research is HOTS-based LKPD products, the object of this research is the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of HOTS-based LKPD products. The test subjects involved 25 fifth grade students with problem solving skills who were used as test objects. The data collection method used a questionnaire. This study encompasses both qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques. The results stated that the HOTS-based LKPD that had been developed received a material expert validity score of 92.38% and a learning media expert validity score of 94.50%. The teacher response practicality score was 97.49%, the individual test student response score was 96.36%, the small group test student response score was 95.75% so that it was declared valid and practical with E quality. The effectiveness test using the t-test method obtained a Sig value of 0.000 < 0.05. So that HOTS-based LKPD is effective in improving science problem solving skills.

Abstract

The research aims to examine the habituation of multilingual learning with the “One Teacher One Language” method in the kindergarten of Sekolah Nasional 3 Bahasa Budi Luhur. This type of research is qualitative research with a case study approach, data collection methods are classroom observation, interviews and documentation. The subject of this research is a kindergarten at the national Sekolah Nasional 3 Bahasa Budi Luhur. This research procedure is the description or orientation stage, the reduction stage and the selection stage. The instruments of this research are research grids, observation guidelines, interview guidelines, field notes, and checklists. The data analysis of this research is data reduction, data model, conclusion drawing/verification. The results of the analysis show that the theories of interlanguage, constructivism, and second language learning provide a strong foundation for the One Teacher One Language strategy. Constraints in implementation, such as time sharing and variations in teacher skills, require attention to theoretical principles, such as the Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD) and the use of scaffolding. However, the integration of language in the learning process, diverse learning strategies, direct interaction between teachers and students, and cultural activities demonstrate a comprehensive effort in creating a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.

Abstract

Kurangnya perkembangan moral pada anak menyebabkan rendahnya perilaku sopan santun pada anak usia dini. Masih ada siswa yang kurang sopan saat mengikuti pembelajaran di kelas. Hal ini disebabkan guru kurang menstimulasi perkembangan moral pada anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan media permainan ular tangga perilaku untuk menstimulasi perilaku sopan santun pada anak usia dini. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian pengembangan dengan model ADDIE, namun pengembangan ini hanya sampai pada tahap pengembangan (development). Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 1 orang ahli media dan 1 orang ahli materi pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data yaitu observasi, wawancara dan kuisioner. Instrument yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data yaitu kuesioner. Analisis data dilaksanakan melalui analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian yaitu nilai rata-rata CVR yakni 1.00 dan CVI 1.00 dengan kriteria sangat tinggi. Maka, media permainan ular tangga perilaku yang dikembangkan valid dan layak digunakan pada pembelajaran.  Implikasi penelitian ini yaitu guru dapat menggunakan media permainan ular tangga perilaku untuk menstimulasi perilaku sopan santun pada anak usia dini dalam pembelajaran

Abstract

The development of technological flows in the era of globalization requires teachers to take advantage of various technological advances to improve student learning outcomes. It is just that the reality on the ground shows that teachers still find it difficult to develop media related to the use of technology. This study aims to develop a learning video oriented to the value of caring for the environment in the fifth-grade science content of Elementary School. This research belongs to the type of development research using the ADDIE development model. The research subjects are two material experts, two learning design experts, and two learning media experts. The test subjects were two practitioners/teachers and ten fifth-grade students. The data collection methods used are observation, interviews, and questionnaires, with the data collection instrument as a rating scale. The analytical technique used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results showed that the assessment given by the subject content expert was 3.84 (very good), the instructional media expert was 3.83 (very good), and the learning design expert was 3.86 (very good). The results of the practitioner's response test are 3.60 (very good), and the student response is 3.76 (very good). So based on these results, it can be concluded that the value-oriented learning media for environmental care characters in the science content of the water cycle material for class V Elementary School is feasible to be developed and used in the learning process.
