Abstract

This study aims to analyze the da'wah communication strategy of Jamaah Tabligh that includes planning, implementing and identifying agents of change in the Jamaah da’wah in sub-district of Tondo, Palu. The research used phenomenological method with interviews and observations as data collection techniques. The results showed that Jamaah Tabligh da’wah communication strategies include; first, planning with tafakud which means ensuring readiness. Second, the implementation of da'wah through khuruj emphasizes the practice of Intiqoli (Amal Intiqoli) and the practice of maqami (Amal maqami). Third, the agents of change in the da'wah communication process are individuals and groups. The Agents referred to are ahbab karkun and amir. The role of the changer is to change morals to be praiseworthy according to the guidance of the Prophet Muhammad SAW.Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis strategi komunikasi dakwah yang mencakup perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan mengidentifikasi agen perubahan dakwah Jamaah Tabligh di Tondo, Kota Palu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode fenomenologi dengan wawancara dan observasi sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi komunikasi dakwah Jamaah Tabligh meliputi; pertama perencanaan dengan tafakud yaitu memastikan kesiapan. Kedua pelaksanaan dakwah melalui khuruj, dengan memperhatikan amalan Intiqoli dan amalan maqami. Ketiga, agen pengubah dalam proses komunikasi dakwah Jamaah Tabligh yakni individu dan kelompok. Agen pengubah yang dimaksud adalah ahbab karkun dan amir. Peran pengubah ialah merubah akhlak menjadi terpuji sesuai tuntunan Rasulullah SAW.

Abstract

The research aims to analyze the communication style to overcome the boredom of students’ learning in the social history course at History Education Program Study, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Tadulako University". This research uses qualitative research approach by examining 1 lecturer and 45 students in class A. Data analysis uses qualitative analysis, with three stages which include: data reduction, data presentation, and data verification.  The results of the research show that the communication style of lecturers to reduce boredom of learning, as follows: Develop an active communication style while still emphasizing assertiveness, taking full social initiative so that students can imitate and apply the communication style in their social environment, and they are able to express opinions with controlled emotions, communication style must be done in two-ways that is by sending full information attentively, communication style by commanding but showing the way, so that students become maximally measured in doing their tasks, there is reflection after evaluation, and communication style of the listener, being attentive in conveying information, making decisions by considering all parties.Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis gaya komunikasi mengatasi kejenuhan Belajar pada matakuliah Sejarah Sosial Mahasiswa Pendidikan Sejarah Untad”. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menekankan pada pendekatan kualitatif dengan meneliti 1 orang dosen dengan populasi mahasiswa 45 orang di kelas A. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis secara kualitatif, dengan tiga jenis meliputi: Reduksi Data, Penyajian data, serta Verifikasi data. Hasil peneitian menunjukkan: gaya komunikasi dosen untuk mengurangi kejenuhan belajar, sebagai berikut; mengembangkan gaya komunikasi aktif namun tetap mengedepankan ketegasan, mengambil secara penuh inisiatif sosial agar mahasiswa meniru di lingkungan sosialnya, serta mampu menyatakan pendapat dengan emosional yang terkontrol; gaya komunikasi harus dua arah dengan mengirim informasi secara full dengan penuh perhatian; gaya komunikasi dengan memerintah tapi menunjukkan caranya, sehingga mahasiswa menjadi terukur secara maksimal dapat mengerjakan tugas, ada refleksi ketika evaluasi, dan gaya komunikasi  pendengar, penuh perhatian dalam menyampaikan informasi, membuat keputusan dengan mempertimbangkan semua pihak.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian  Pra-Eksperimen dengan desain One-Shoot  Case Study yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar fisika siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Bangkala ditinjau dari aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik yang diajar dengan metode PQ4R Tahun Ajaran 2012/2013. Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP SMP Negeri 2 Bangkala sebanyak 28 siswa. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini diambil dari data hasil belajar fisika yaitu penilaian aspek kognitif diberi tes pada pertemuan keempat, aspek afektif diberi angket tentang pernyataan untuk mengukur motivasi dan minat peserta didik serta aspek psikomotorik diperoleh dari pengamatan tentang aktivitas belajar setiap pertemuan. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil analisis deskriptif hasil belajar fisika pada aspek kognitif menunjukkan bahwa jumlah peserta didik yang mengalami ketuntasan belajar adalah 26 0rang (93%). Hasil analisis deskriptif hasil belajar fisika pada aspek afektif menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik berada pada kategori sangat baik dan baik. Hasil analisis deskriptif hasil belajar fisika pada aspek psikomotorik menunjukkan bahwa jumlah peserta didik yang mengalami ketuntasan belajar adalah 20 (71%). Dari hasil analisis di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui metode PQ4R dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar fisika peserta didik kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Bangkala Tahun Ajaran 2012/2013.Kata kunci: Metode Pembelajaran PQ4R, PsikomotorikThis research is a kind of study Pre-Experiment with design One-Shoot Case Study aimed to find out the results of learning physics class VII SMP Negeri 2 Bangkala terms of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor PQ4R method taught by Academic Year 2012/2013. Research subjects in this study were all students of class VII SMP SMP Negeri 2 Bangkala many as 28 students. Collecting data in this study were drawn from the data are the results of learning physics aspects of cognitive assessment tests are given at the fourth meeting, the affective aspect of the statement given questionnaires to measure the motivations and interests of learners and psychomotor aspects derived from observations on learning activities every meeting. The collected data were analyzed descriptively. The results of the descriptive analysis of learning outcomes in the cognitive aspects of physics shows that the number of students who have mastery learning 0rang was 26 (93%). The results of the descriptive analysis of learning outcomes in the affective aspect of physics shows that learners are in the category of very good and excellent. The results of the descriptive analysis of the results of the psychomotor aspects of learning physics shows that the number of students who have mastery learning is the 20 (71%). From the analysis above, it can be concluded that through PQ4R method can improve learning outcomes physics class VII students of SMP Negeri 2 Bangkala Academic Year 2012/2013.Keywords: Learning Methods PQ4R, Psychomotor

Abstract

Pemetaan denah jalur sampah di lakukan untuk mengorganisisr sampah yang banyak berserakan di sekitar UPT Perpustakaan. Tujuan pengabdian ini untuk mendapatkan solusi atas pembuangan sampah sembarang di UPT Perpustakaan Universitas Tadulako tersebut, untuk meminilisir maka diperlukan denah untuk mengantisipasi hal tersebut. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi komponen perencanaan kegiatan sebelum kegiatan, pelaksanaan kegiatan serta melakukan rancangan evaluasi kegiatan yakni hasil akhir produk berupa denah jalur sampah. Pelaksanaan kegiatan terselenggara secara kontinu dan konsisten. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh yakni hasil produk berupa letak jalur pembuangan sampah selesai sehingga mampu meminimalkan sampah yang berserakan dan yang dibuang di sembarang tempat

Abstract

The Bomba textile is one of the textile fabrics in Indonesia used in a province called Sulawesi Tengah. Bomba Textile has a unique pattern and has a philosophical meaning in human life in Sulawesi Tengah. Bomba Textile has many motif patterns and varied colors. The problem in this research is the difficulty in classifying every The Bomba textile motif in each class. Data classification is needed to recognize the motif of each Bomba textile pattern and to cluster it into the appropriate class. The features used to classify the Bomba textile motif is the textural feature. Texture features obtained from Gray-Level Co-occurrence matrices (GLCM) method consisting of energy, contrast, homogeneity and correlation with four angles 0°, 45°, 90°, and 135°. This research will implement Quadratic Vector Machine (QSVM) method with texture feature on Bomba textile pattern. The use of a single texture feature with angles 90° has an accuracy of 90.3%. The incorporation of texture features by involving all features at all angles can improve the accuracy of the classification model. This research produces a model of motif classification on the Bomba textile which has the classification accuracy of 94.6% and error rate of 5.4%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the use of image media in improving students' historical thinking skills in history subjects at MAN Insan Cendekia Palu City. This research article is a qualitative research followed by using the Class Action (TK) method. The results showed that the teacher in question did not use the media in a series of learning activities that should use learning media. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects in this study were students of class X IPS Al Buruj MAN Insan Cendikia Palu, totaling 23 people, consisting of 15 male students and 7 female students. Qualitative data analysis uses data reduction techniques, data presentation and conclusion drawing, while quantitative analysis uses individual absorption formulas and classical completeness. The results showed that the use of image media can improve students' critical thinking skills in history subjects. This is evidenced from the test results, where 96% of students completed or as many as 22 of 23 students and 4% or as many as 1 student who did not complete during the learning process using picture media.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mendeskripsikan faktor pendorong orang Selayar berdiaspora di Kota Palu; 2) mendeskripsikan persebaran orang Selayar di Kota Palu; 3) mengetahui identitas yang mereka perlihatkan di Kota Palu; dan 4) menganalisis adaptasi orang Selayar di Kota Palu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif, Pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa: 1) Beberapa faktor pendorong orang Selayar datang di Kota Palu yaitu untuk mencari pekerjaan, mengikuti keluarga, dan melakukan perdagangan; 2) lokasi tempat tinggal orang Selayar di Kota Palu tidak terfokus di satu wilayah tertentu, namun tersebar di beberapa kecamatan di Kota Palu; 3) identitas orang Selayar dapat dilihat dari penggunaan bahasa Selayar ketika berkomunikasi dengan sesama orang Selayar; 4) proses adaptasi orang Selayar di Kota Palu telah berjalan dengan baik karena telah berpegang teguh pada prinsip di mana bumi di pijak di situ langit dijunjung yang memudahkan dalam proses penyesuaian terhadap kondisi setempat.

Abstract

This community service activity is entitled "Developing Teachers' Ability to Compile Higher Order Thinking Skills Through Guidance and Training at SMP Negeri 1 Sindue Tambusabora." This service was carried out because of the main problem of partner schools, namely that they have not been able to compile HOTS questions. This problem is also associated with; 1) not conducting a basic competency review before developing a grid of questions; 2) did not compile a grid of HOTS questions; 3) not formulating indicators about HOTS; 4) do not make a HOTS question card; 5) not assembling standardized questions (HOTS); and 5) not to follow up in the form of a qualitative review of the HOTS question items. To overcome partner problems, it is carried out with a Technical Guidance (Bimtek) solution. This bimtek is packaged in 4 (four) stages, namely; 1) Preparation; 2) preparation of Bimtek materials; 3) Implementation of Bimtek; and 4) evaluation and follow-up. The results of this service are: 1) teachers at partner schools understand well and correctly the concept of compiling a grid of HOTS questions; 2) teachers at partner schools understand well and correctly the concept of compiling indicators of HOTS questions according to the ABCD formula; and 3) teachers at partner schools understand well and correctly the concept of drafting HOST. The outputs of this devotion are: 1) the lattice of HOTS questions according to the subject family; and 2 HOTS questions according to the subject family

Abstract

Online learning implemented at SMA Negeri 3 Palu requires every teacher to change and innovate in their learning strategies, the use of appropriate media and support for online learning will determine the success of students' learning. The implementation of community service aims to provide knowledge to history teachers at SMA Negeri 3 Palu regarding the creation and development of learning video media using Wondershare Filmora software. This service activity was attended by history teachers and students, they were very enthusiastic in participating in service activities. The output produced is a learning video media developed by a history teacher that is in accordance with the direction and guidance of the service team with suggestions and input from students regarding interesting media to use in online learning.

Abstract

Bullying has happened in the diverse level of schools in Indonesia. This detrimental act certainly has a fatal impact on victims of bullying in the form of loss of confidence, social disability, worry, and possibly physical disturbances. The purpose of this study was to examine the implications of bullying for teachers and students at a junior high school in Indonesia, as well as the teacher's role in fighting bullying behaviour. This study uses a mixed method design with a non-probability sampling technique and quota sampling strategy. This study used questionnaires and interviews to gather information about bullying and the role of the teachers at that school in responding to such an act. The findings revealed two important issues as follows, a) Bullying of students is included in the mild criteria, namely 90.9% or 170 students, moderate, namely 8.0% or 15 students, and severe, namely 1.1%. or 2 students, and b) The teacher's role in preventing bullying is to provide supervision, guide, give advice and strengthen students' self-confidence so that they can overcome incidents or problems involving bullying to reduce bullying at school. This study indicates some implications regarding the preventive actions that school policy should apply to protect their pupils from experiencing bullying.
