Abstract

New student admission is a strategic step for schools to ensure the quality of education and optimal resource management. This research aims to analyse new student candidate data at SMK Negeri 1 Teknologi dan Rekayasa Mimika using the K-Means clustering method. Student data is grouped into three clusters based on academic grades to detect prospective students who have the potential to enter superior classes. The analysis results show that cluster 3 has the highest average academic score, making it possible for students in cluster 3 to enter the general superior class. cluster 2 showed excellence in certain aspects, particularly E grades, making it suitable for specific programmes oriented towards talent development. Finally, cluster 1 has the lowest average score and requires further assistance to improve academic performance. Evaluating the cluster results using Silhouette Score, all three clusters are in the "Good" category (0.51-0.70), with the highest score in cluster 3 (0.594). The recommendation from this study is to prioritise students from Cluster 3 for general superior classes and some from cluster 2 for special superior programs, so as to support the vision of SMK Negeri 1 Technology and Engineering Mimika in improving the quality of data-based education.

Abstract

The Village Information System is an innovative solution to optimize village data management and speed up access to information for the community. The development of Information Technology has become an urgent need in order to improve the efficiency and quality of services at the village level. This research aims to implement a Village Information System to improve digital-based services in the village environment. The implementation of the Village Information System is expected to increase the efficiency of data management and speed up the decision-making process at the village level. The application of digital-based technology is expected to provide easier and faster access for the community to obtain information and services from the village government. Services such as population administration, licensing and development monitoring can be accessed online, minimizing the time and costs required. Apart from that, the Village Information System also provides opportunities for active community participation in decision making through feedback features and discussion forums. This research strengthens the concept of clean and transparent government, because the Village Information System creates openness to public information. This research makes a positive contribution in exploring the potential of information technology to optimize village governance and improve the quality of life of the community as a whole. This is the reason researchers consider it important to develop and implement a Village Information System to improve digital-based community services.

Abstract

This community service activities aims to evaluate the impact of instructional media training on participants' preferences and understanding, with a focus on the use of Canva as an alternative to PowerPoint. The pre-test indicated that the majority of participants had little or no experience using Canva before the training, while PowerPoint was a commonly used tool. After the training, there was a significant increase in participants' preferences and understanding of Canva, with 51.7% preferring it. Although 41.4% of participants found Canva easier to use, some still maintained a preference for PowerPoint (31%). Supportive factors for the success of these changes included well-organized and professional training, clear content, interactive teaching methods, guidance, and hands-on practice. However, old habits and initial discomfort with new platforms served as inhibiting factors. The outreach team is optimistic that with continued support and more practice, participants will become more comfortable and proficient in using interactive learning media. In conclusion, these changes in preferences and understanding are expected to become more consistent and supportive of increased use of interactive learning media in the learning context.

Abstract

Program Pendidikan dan Pengembangan Keterampilan di Kampung Pemulung Adhyaksa berhasil menciptakan dampak yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan partisipasi dan kesejahteraan anak-anak serta keluarga mereka. Melalui serangkaian kegiatan seperti pelatihan keterampilan, lomba keagamaan, dan pemeriksaan kesehatan, anak-anak kampung pemulung menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi dan kemampuan belajar yang luar biasa. Mereka tidak hanya meningkatkan pengetahuan akademis, tetapi juga mengasah keterampilan artistik, keterampilan teknologi, dan nilai-nilai keagamaan. Kerjasama antara komunitas Sahabat Indonesia Berbagi Makassar (Sigi) dan Universitas Negeri Makassar telah membuktikan efektivitas pendekatan pendidikan berbasis komunitas dalam mengatasi tantangan pendidikan dan kesejahteraan di kampung pemulung. Dengan fokus pada pemenuhan kebutuhan lokal dan pemberdayaan masyarakat, program ini telah memberikan kontribusi yang berarti terhadap peningkatan kesadaran akan pentingnya pendidikan, keterampilan, dan kesehatan di kalangan anak-anak dan keluarga di kampung pemulung. Kesuksesan program ini menyoroti pentingnya kemitraan antara institusi akademis, komunitas, dan pemerintah dalam mendukung pendidikan dan pengembangan komunitas. Evaluasi kontinu dan pengembangan lebih lanjut dari program ini diharapkan dapat memperkuat manfaatnya dan memberikan inspirasi bagi upaya serupa di tempat-tempat lain. Dengan demikian, pendekatan pendidikan berbasis komunitas terbukti menjadi instrumen yang efektif dalam memperjuangkan hak pendidikan dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat yang rentan seperti di kampung pemulung Adhyaksa.

Abstract

This Community Service Program (PkM) is designed to enhance understanding and skills in paraphrasing techniques for academic writing by utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI). Proficiency in paraphrasing is a crucial aspect for academics and researchers in producing original scholarly works and avoiding plagiarism. Therefore, this training aims to equip participants with paraphrasing techniques that align with academic standards while introducing various AI-based tools that can improve the quality of academic writing.The implementation of this program is divided into four main stages: preparation, execution, monitoring, and evaluation. The methods employed include theoretical material delivery, demonstrations of AI applications in paraphrasing, hands-on practice, and interactive discussion sessions. The evaluation results indicate an improvement in participants' understanding of paraphrasing techniques and the effectiveness of AI utilization in this process. Furthermore, the majority of participants acknowledged that AI-assisted paraphrasing accelerated and refined their outputs.This training has demonstrated a positive impact on the development of academic writing skills. To optimize future implementations, it is necessary to develop a more comprehensive program, including extending the training duration, providing interactive modules, and offering continuous mentoring to ensure the effective application of paraphrasing techniques.

Abstract

Kurangnya pemetaan yang efisien mengenai tingkat kemandirian desa di Sulawesi Selatan menghambat perumusan kebijakan pembangunan yang tepat sasaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model clustering menggunakan algoritma Mini-Batch K-Means guna mengelompokkan desa berdasarkan tingkat kemandiriannya. Data yang digunakan mencakup Indeks Ketahanan Sosial (IKS), Indeks Ketahanan Ekonomi (IKE), dan Indeks Ketahanan Lingkungan (IKL) dari 2.000 desa di Sulawesi Selatan. Proses analisis melibatkan pre-processing data, penentuan jumlah klaster optimal menggunakan metode Elbow, serta penerapan Mini-Batch K-Means untuk pengelompokan desa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa desa-desa dapat dikelompokkan ke dalam empat klaster utama: Desa Mandiri, Desa Maju, Desa Berkembang, serta gabungan Desa Tertinggal dan Desa Sangat Tertinggal. Evaluasi menggunakan Silhouette Coefficient mengindikasikan bahwa klaster Desa Mandiri memiliki kualitas pengelompokan terbaik dengan nilai 0,5398, sementara klaster Desa Berkembang memiliki nilai 0,1823, yang menunjukkan adanya tumpang tindih dengan klaster lain. Implementasi model ini memberikan gambaran yang lebih jelas terkait distribusi tingkat kemandirian desa dan dapat menjadi acuan dalam penyusunan strategi pembangunan yang lebih efektif dan berkelanjutan. Dari hasil penelitian ini, pemerintah daerah dan pemangku kepentingan dapat merumuskan kebijakan berbasis data yang lebih akurat, memastikan bahwa desa-desa yang membutuhkan intervensi lebih lanjut dapat memperoleh perhatian yang tepat. Rekomendasi strategi berbasis data ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efektivitas program pembangunan desa serta mempercepat pencapaian kesejahteraan yang merata di Sulawesi Selatan

Abstract

This research is a Research and Development study, developing a tool to overcome water wastage and monitor water conditions in the tandon. This tool uses water flow, pH, and turbidity sensors connected to a telegram bot and LCD. This research applies a prototype model that includes problem identification, needs analysis, literature study, tool design, program coding, tool installation, and tool testing. Functional testing of the tool shows that all components function correctly. From the test results obtained comparison test of measuring water volume entering using the water flow in the sensor and measuring cup results in an MPE of 0.067, while measuring water volume exiting using the water flow out the sensor and measuring cup results in an MPE of 0.048. Comparison test of measuring pH using a pH sensor and pH meter results in an MPE of 0.067. Measuring water turbidity level using a turbidity sensor shows the ability of the sensor to measure turbidity on various water samples. The telegram bot, LCD monitoring, and automatic water pump systems work well.

Abstract

Penjualan Retail pada data penelitian ini adalah hasil transaksi penjualan tokoh retail non tokoh di Inggris. Untuk meningkatkan penjualan salah satu cara yang harus dilakukan adalah dengan menganalisis arsip dari transaksi penjual untuk melihat produk yang paling sering dibeli oleh pelanggan menggunakan teknik data mining dengan algoritma apriori. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan suatu aturan asosiasi produk apa saja yang selalu di beli oleh pelanggang dengan membandingkan aturan min support 10% dengan confidance 70%, min support 10% dengan confidance 50%, dan min support 10 dengan confidance 30%. Hasil min support 10% dengan confidance 70% adalah (Knitted Union Flag Hot Water Bottle) (White Hanging Heart T-Light Holder) min support 11% dengan confidance 100%, hasil dari min support 10% dengan confidance 30% dan 50% (Knitted Union Flag Hot Water Bottle) (White Hanging Heart T-Light Holder) dengan nilai min support 11% dengan confidance 100%. Berdasarkan hasil perbandingan diatas terbentuk sebuah aturan yaitu Jika membeli Knitted Union Flag Hot Water Bottle, maka akan membeli White Hanging Heart T-Light Holder

Abstract

Susu sapi memiliki manfaat yang penting bagi kesehatan manusia karena mengandung banyak nutrisi yang dibutuhkan tubuh. Beberapa manfaatnya antara lain meningkatkan kekuatan tulang, meningkatkan system kekebalan tubuh, serta berperan dalam pertumbuhan dan perkembangan. Produsen susu sapi memiliki peran penting dalam menghasilkan susu yang berkualitas. Untuk membantu produsen susu sapi untuk mendapatkan kualitas susu yang baik maka dibutuhkan system untuk melakukan klasifikasi penentuan kualitas susu dengan menggunakan algoritme Bakcpropagation. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 1059 data dengan dengan hasil jenis kualitas susu yaitu tinggi, standar, dan rendah. Penentuan kualitas susu berdasarkan 7 parameter yaitu pH, Suhu, Rasa, Bau, Lemak, Kekeruhan, dan Warna. Tahapan penelitian yang dilakukan memiliki tiga tahapan, yakni pertama adalah pemilihan data yang optimal, tahap kedua pemilihan parameter optimal yang akan digunakan dalam implementasi algoritme Backpropagation, dan tahap ketiga pengujian implementasi algoritme. Hasil akurasi dengan menggunakan metode pengujian k-fold dengan nilai k=3, learning rate=0,5, jumlah iterasi (epoch)=750, dan jumlah hidden layer=7 mendapatkan akurasi tinggi sebesar 97.923%. Hal ini dapat membantu produsen susu sapi untuk mendapatkan kualitas susu yang baik dan memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan teknologi klasifikasi menggunakan algoritme pembelajaran mesin di industri susu sapi.

Abstract

Schizophrenia is a chronic brain disorder characterized by symptoms such as delusions, hallucinations, and disorganized speech, posing significant challenges for accurate diagnosis. This research investigates an innovative Natural Language Processing (NLP) framework for classifying the speech patterns of schizophrenia patients using Word2Vec, with the aim of determining whether there are significant differences between the two features. The dataset comprises speech transcriptions from 121 schizophrenia patients and 121 non-schizophrenia participants collected through structured interviews. This study compares two Word2Vec architectures, Continuous Bag-of-Words (CBOW) and Skip-Gram (SG), to determine their effectiveness in classifying schizophrenia speech patterns. The results indicate that the SG architecture, with hyperparameter tuning, produces more detailed word representations, particularly for low-frequency words. This approach yields more accurate classification results, achieving an F1-score of 93.81%. These results emphasize the effectiveness of the framework in handling structured and abstract linguistic patterns. By utilizing the advantages of both static and contextual embedding, this approach offers significant potential for clinical applications, providing a reliable tool for improving schizophrenia diagnosis through automated speech analysis.
