Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of supervision of school principals on the quality of learning in Cluster 23 Lambheu, Darul Imarah District, Aceh Besar. The research used used a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques used in this research consist of interviews, questionnaires (questionnaires), observations (observations). The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis conducted using the help of the SPSS program version 20. The results of the study proved that the academic supervision of the principal had a significant influence on the quality of teacher learning in Cluster 23 Lambheu Darul Imarah Aceh Besar by 24.5%. Teacher performance has a significant influence on the quality of teacher learning services in Cluster 23 Lambheu Darul Imarah Aceh Besar by 20.4%. The academic supervision of the principal and teacher performance together have a significant influence on the quality of teacher learning by 39.9%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of based management and analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of the principal's strategy towards the implementation of school-based management. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative. Data were collected through observation and interviews. The data analysis technique used is qualitative data analysis with stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research results show that the SWOT analysis can be understood; Strength at State Junior High School 1 Darul Imarah, each member of the school has their own advantages, as the main capital for the school. Meanwhile, Darul Imarah State Junior High School 2 can collaborate, build communication, and share with each other. Weaknesses at State Junior High School 1 Darul principal in implementing School Based Management are still not optimal, because there are still many things that need to be considered, various learning media have not been fulfilled because there are still many other needs that must be prioritized. Opportunities for State Junior High School 1 Darul Imarah are the level of success in producing a quality generation and being able to compete to enter well-known schools. State Junior High School 2 Darul Imarah provided a positive response from every school member, information, and outreach regarding educational programs. Threats of Darul Imarah State Junior High School 1 still have many programs that have not been achieved. Meanwhile, at State Junior High School 2 Darul Imarah there are still several school members who raise pros and cons regarding the rules that have been set

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the example of the principal, teacher discipline and the principal's contribution in improving teacher discipline at SD Keci Aneuk Bate. This research method uses qualitative methods. Data collection through direct observation and interviews with resource persons. Data analysis techniques through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results showed that the principal's attendance at SD Aneuk Bate followed the rules of timely arrival and on time to leave even though it was outside the applicable time. SD Aneuk Bate is very wise in action, able to solve problems in school, confident in practicing, simple in character, but respected by his subordinates. The Principal of SD Aneuk Bate is very concerned about the problems faced by teachers and teaching staff and the Principal of SD Aneuk Bate is also very dedicated and responsible as a leader in carrying out his duties. The discipline of teachers at SD Aneuk Bate is well carried out in terms of compliance with laws and regulations, punctuality, and firm character. This is demonstrated by compliance and enforcement of regulations that can make farmers eligible. The principal's example in improving teacher discipline is well carried out so that he can be an example for his subordinates

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of academic supervision and managerial leadership of school principals on the work motivation of elementary school teachers in Kuta Cot Glie District, Aceh Besar Regency. This research uses survey research methods. Hypothesis testing uses simple linear regression analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, multiple correlation analysis (R), determination analysis (R2), and combined regression coefficient test (F test). The results of the research are that there is a significant influence between academic supervision on teacher work motivation in Kuta Cot Glie District, Aceh Besar Regency; there is a significant influence between the managerial leadership of school principals on teacher work motivation in Kuta Cot Glie District, Aceh Besar Regency; there is a significant influence between the principal's academic supervision and managerial leadership on teacher work motivation at the State Elementary School, Indrapuri District, Aceh Besar Regency; The contribution of academic supervision to teacher work motivation was 38.8%; the contribution of the principal's managerial influence to teacher work motivation was 51.3%; The contribution of the influence of Principal Leadership and School Teacher Work Motivation on Student Learning Achievement is 57.8%

Abstract

The implementation of education is an effort to improve human resources. Madrasah is also one of the means, because madrasah is a formal educational institution which in the implementation of education requires madrasah personnel to evaluate, supervise and improve the teaching and learning process carried out by teachers requires supervision. This study aims to determine the implementation of academic supervision in improving teacher performance and quality. This research is qualitative research with a type of field research. The techniques used in collecting data in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation. While the technique in analyzing data is with three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of data analysis showed that the implementation of academic supervision of the head of the madrasah by visiting directly to class, and sometimes only listening to the course of learning outside the classroom. The results of academic supervision carried out by the head of MTs Negeri 4 Pidie have been running in accordance with existing regulations, including class visits, class observations, inter visitation, personal conversations, and teacher meetings

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to find out how learning trajectory is right for students in understanding the concept of geometry. Learning the area of triangles and quadrilateral areas through trivial problems may be easy for students, but not in the context of complex problems. Therefore, through learning with Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach is known learning trajectory that can help students learn geometry. From the results of the study showed that through the provision of problems that are situational and close to the experience of students give the impact of desire and motivation and challenge students to solve problems. From this experience, students realize or do not start building material concepts that should be obtained in learning mathematics. This is a suggestion that the teaching and learning process should present problems that can take advantage of the student's previous experience before it becomes a new formal concept.

Abstract

SMP Negeri 8 Banda Aceh has SPLDV learning media facilities and learning resources which are quite good, but the use of existing media and learning resources has not been utilized optimally which has an impact on student learning outcomes in mathematics. This study aims to determine what media is appropriate to use to motivate students in learning and increase student enthusiasm in learning. The research design used was True Experimental Design. The instrument used in data collection was a math comprehension test question. The application used to design video media is the SREEN O'MATIC. After the data was collected, it was analyzed using the T-Test. Based on the research results Calculated T-Value is 2.70 and T-Table Value is 1.70, this means is H1 accepted, so that H0 is rejected at a significant level ? = 0.05, it can be concluded that the teaching aids are better than video in SMP Negeri 8 Banda Aceh.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kemampuan siswa dalam “Menulis Puisi”. Penulis dapat mengenalkan pembelajaran materi menulis secara spontan. Dari hasil kegiatan ini siswa dapat mengembangkan kreativitas dan imajinasinya yang kemudian dikembangkan menjadi sebuah puisi, memberikan motivasi yang terdapat masalah yang terjadi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, serta menumbuhkan sikap berani mengeluarkan ide atau gagasan mengenai suatu masalah yang akurat. Adapun tahapan maupun proses kreatif ada empat, yakni (1) persiapan, (2) inkubasi, (3) iluminasi, dan (4) verifikasi. Ini bisa dilakukan dengan pengayaan materi, mencari momen-momen puitik yang bisa menyentuh perasaan. Ide atau bahan penulisan bisa didapat dan digali dari mana saja. Kemunculannya bisa dilakukan dengan mengasah sensitivitas, pengalaman, imajinasi, dan bisa diperkaya dengan kegiatan membaca, mengamati, atau mencari momen-momen puitik. Upaya-upaya pengayaan bahasa perlu dilakukan, misalnya dengan pengayaan penguasaan kosakata, pengayaan bacaan-bacaan, terutama puisi, pengayaan dalam membentuk kata atau frase, dst.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh keinginan penulis untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa serta mendesain pembelajaran yang tidak terpusat pada guru. Sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa melalui Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Scramble dengan Pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) di kelas VIIIB SMP Negeri 1 Latambaga. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada tanggal 28 April 2015 s/d tanggal 28 Mei 2015. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIIIB SMP Negeri 1 Latambaga. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tidakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus dengan prosedur penelitian: (a) Mengadakan perencanaan untuk melaksanakan proses pembelajaran, (b) Melaksanakan tindakan sesuai dengan perencanaan, (c) Mengadakan observasi terhadap siswa dan guru selama proses tindakan berlangsung, (d) Mengadakan evaluasi/tes pada siswa disetiap akhir siklus, (e) Melakukan refleksi dan menganalisis kekurangan dan kelemahan selama siklus I untuk merencanakan tindakan pada siklus II. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu pada tindakan siklus I, hasil belajar siswa meningkat dari skor rata-rata tes awal sebelum tindakan adalah 68,25 menjadi 77,71 atau dengan persentase ketuntasan 78,12% yaitu 25 dari 32 siswa memperoleh nilai ≥75, hal ini belum menunjukkan keberhasilan sesuai indikator keberhasilan yang ditetapkan. Pada tindakan siklus II hasil yang diperoleh adalah sebanyak 27 siswa mendapatkan nilai ≥75 dengan nilai rata-rata 83,15 atau dengan persentase 84,37%. Hal ini berarti bahwa hasil penelitian tindakan siklus I dan Siklus II dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil siswa kelas VIIIB SMP Negeri 1 Latambaga pada materi bangun ruang melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe scramble dengan pendekatan CTL tersebut membawa efek terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar.

Abstract

Fenomena kekerasan di lingkungan sekolah baru-baru ini menjalani tinjauan intensif publisitas. berdasarkan data yang dirilis Komisi Perlindungan Anak Indonesia (KPAI) tahun 2017, menurut survei International Center for Research on Women (ICRW), sebanyak 84% anak di Indonesia mengalami kekerasan di sekolah. Angka kasus kekerasan di sekolah di Indonesia ini lebih tinggi dari Vietnam 79% , Nepal 79%, Kamboja 73%, dan Pakistan 43%. Metode penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian survey. Sampel penelitian ini dua sekolah dasar di kabupaten Aceh Besar yaitu SD Negeri 1 Lamcot dan SD Negeri 2 Lamcot. Mengumpulkan informasi factual menggunakan kuesioner dan wawancara. Kuesioner berisikan 12 aspek, untuk mengukur pengawasan kekerasan diperoleh berdasarkan hasil kuesioner responden. Pada SD Negeri 1 Lamcot memperoleh rata-rata 4,35 sedangkan di SD Negeri 2 Lamcot meraih rata-rata 4,30. Hasil tersebut diperoleh melalui kuesioner yang berisikan 12 item indicator yang bagikan pada responden. Penelitian menggunakan teknik wawancara tentang pengawasan kekerasan dalam pendidikan meraih respon positif.
