Abstract

This research delves into the enhancement of quality in Early Childhood Education (ECE) institutions, focusing specifically on the integration of skilled educators and the provision of adequate facilities for both teachers and children. Recognizing that the early years of a child's life are critical for cognitive, emotional, and social development, this study emphasizes the urgent need for high-quality educational environments. A comprehensive literature review is conducted to synthesize existing research on the components that constitute quality in ECE, including the qualifications and training of educators, the design and maintenance of educational facilities, and the role of parental and community involvement. The review highlights various models of successful ECE programs worldwide, assessing factors such as curriculum design, teacher-child ratios, classroom management, and resource availability. It also investigates the significance of professional development opportunities for educators, emphasizing how continuous learning and support can greatly improve teaching practices. Furthermore, the research explores the relationship between physical environments—such as safe outdoor play areas, age-appropriate learning materials, and accessibility—and their impact on children's engagement and learning outcomes. Through this analysis, the study identifies best practices and innovative strategies that can be adopted to create more synergistic and supportive educational settings. The implications of this research are directed towards policymakers, educational leaders, and stakeholders as they work toward improving ECE standards and ensuring that young learners receive the quality education they deserve. By fostering a culture of collaboration among educators, parents, and the community, it is possible to enhance the overall educational experience for children and support their holistic development.

This literature review aims to investigate the multifaceted role of quality assurance mechanisms across various preschool programs, exploring how these systems contribute to the enhancement of educational practices and the overall development of children. The review synthesizes existing studies that address both theoretical and practical aspects of quality assurance, including standards, assessment tools, and evaluation frameworks. It delves into the importance of adopting a holistic approach that encompasses not only educational outcomes but also social, emotional, and developmental growth. The investigation highlights the correlation between robust quality assurance practices and improved teaching methodologies, effective curriculum implementation, and enriched learning environments that promote child-centered pedagogy. Additionally, the study discusses the challenges faced by educators and administrators in the realm of quality assurance, such as resource constraints, varying stakeholder expectations, and the need for ongoing professional development. It also identifies areas for future research, emphasizing the necessity for a collaborative effort among policymakers, educators, and families in establishing and maintaining quality standards that can lead to sustainable educational practices.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the impact of the quality of teaching provided by teachers on student achievement and character development at SMP Negeri 2 Lhoong. The quality of teaching is a key factor in the education system that can influence academic outcomes as well as the character formation of students. In this context, the quality of teaching encompasses various aspects, such as teaching skills, utilized methods, the interaction between teachers and students, and the assessments applied during the learning process. The methodology employed in this study is a literature review, which involves analyzing various relevant literature and sources. This research examines the educational theories underlying effective teaching practices and investigates previous studies that indicate a positive relationship between teaching quality and student academic performance. Various studies also show that engaging and interactive teaching quality can motivate students to learn better, which directly contributes to their academic achievements. The findings of this study demonstrate that high-quality teaching, characterized by varied instructional methods, the use of technology in the classroom, and constructive feedback from teachers, can significantly enhance student learning outcomes. Furthermore, quality teaching plays an essential role in the character development of students, teaching them values such as discipline, cooperation, and responsibility. This research emphasizes that education should not focus solely on cognitive aspects but also on character development as an integral part of the learning process.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of academic supervision conducted by school principals on teacher performance at SMPN 1 Baitussalam, located in Baitussalam District, Aceh Besar Regency, in the year 2024. Academic supervision plays a pivotal role in the realm of educational management, aiming to enhance the quality and effectiveness of teaching and learning. This research utilizes a literature review methodology, examining a range of scholarly articles, educational theories, and empirical studies related to the impact of leadership on instructional practices. The analysis reveals that effective academic supervision is directly linked to improvements in teacher performance. Key components of successful supervision include the provision of constructive feedback, regular performance assessments, and opportunities for professional development. The study highlights that principals who actively engage in the supervisory process foster a collaborative learning environment, which not only motivates teachers but also encourages them to adopt innovative teaching strategies that enhance student learning outcomes. Furthermore, the research addresses contextual factors, such as school culture, the principal’s leadership style, and the availability of resources, which significantly affect the effectiveness of academic supervision at SMPN 1 Baitussalam. The findings suggest that tailored training programs and a supportive institutional framework can significantly bolster teacher performance. This paper concludes with practical recommendations for school leaders, emphasizing the necessity of implementing structured academic supervision practices that prioritize teacher development. Ultimately, this study underscores the essential role of academic supervision in improving educational quality, enhancing teacher effectiveness, and fostering a positive school culture.

Abstract

This comparative study investigates the approaches and strategies employed by high schools in Sabang City to prevent and address bullying among students. Bullying is a significant issue in educational environments, leading to detrimental effects on students' mental health, academic performance, and overall well-being. This research conducts a literature review, drawing on various academic sources, policy documents, and case studies to analyze the effectiveness of different anti-bullying programs and initiatives implemented in secondary schools. The study aims to identify key factors that contribute to successful bullying prevention efforts and highlight best practices that can be adopted across schools in Sabang City. It examines existing frameworks and methodologies, such as peer support systems, counseling services, and collaborations with parents and community organizations. Furthermore, the research underscores the importance of fostering a supportive school culture that prioritizes respect, inclusivity, and open communication among students and staff. The findings reveal a diverse range of strategies employed by high schools in Sabang City, with particular emphasis on community involvement and the integration of educational curricula that promote empathy and conflict resolution skills. This paper contributes to the broader discourse on bullying prevention in educational settings and offers recommendations for enhancing existing programs to create safer and more supportive environments for all students.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the educational curriculum in SMPN Mesjid Raya through the "Keep Learning" approach, aimed at enhancing the quality of education. The "Keep Learning" approach emphasizes continuous learning, adaptability, and engagement among both educators and students. This research adopts a literature study methodology, analyzing various scholarly sources related to curriculum development and quality education. The findings reveal that the "Keep Learning" approach fosters a dynamic learning environment, encourages critical thinking, and supports lifelong learning habits in students. Furthermore, the study highlights the importance of teacher training, resource availability, and community involvement in successfully implementing this approach. It concludes that integrating the "Keep Learning" philosophy into the curriculum can significantly contribute to improved educational outcomes in SMPN Mesjid Raya.

Abstract

This literature review explores the influence of technology use in learning on student learning motivation. In recent years, the rapid advancement of technology has transformed educational landscapes, providing innovative tools and resources that enhance the teaching and learning experience. This review synthesizes findings from various studies to examine how different forms of technology—such as digital learning platforms, interactive applications, and multimedia resources—impact student motivation across diverse educational settings. The research indicates that technology can significantly enhance student engagement by promoting interactivity and personalization in the learning process. Moreover, incorporating technology into the classroom fosters a collaborative learning environment, encouraging peer interaction and support. Additionally, the availability of instant feedback through technological tools helps students identify their strengths and weaknesses, thereby motivating them to improve their performance. However, challenges such as digital divide, varying levels of access to technology, and the risk of distraction are also addressed in this review. The findings suggest that while technology has the potential to positively influence motivation, its effectiveness largely depends on how it is integrated into the curriculum and the overall approach taken by educators. In conclusion, this literature review highlights the significant role that technology plays in enhancing student learning motivation. It calls for educators and policymakers to develop strategic frameworks for implementing technology in educational settings to maximize its benefits while mitigating associated challenges.

Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to analyze the strategy of managing educational funds implemented at SDN 61 Banda Aceh to support the assurance of educational quality. Using a SWOT analysis approach, this research evaluates the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in the school’s financial management.Methodology – The research employs a qualitative approach with data collection techniques including interviews, observation, and analysis of the school’s financial documents.Findings – The study shows that SDN 61 Banda Aceh possesses several strengths in fund management, such as transparency in budget utilization and the involvement of the school committee. However, there are weaknesses related to delayed disbursement of funds from the government and a lack of capacity among administrative staff in performance-based financial management. Opportunities include enhancing the capacity of school financial managers through training and leveraging technology for financial recording and reporting. Meanwhile, the main threats faced are the uncertainty of budget policies and the potential for fund misuse due to weak external oversight systems. Significance – The implementation of more structured strategies, such as strengthening School-Based Management and increasing transparency through stricter financial audits, is recommended. This approach is expected to support continuous improvements in educational quality at SDN 61 Banda Aceh.

Abstract

This study examines the approach taken by madrasah ibtidaiyah principals to enhance teacher discipline through the use of managerial oversight. To create a consistent culture of discipline in the classroom, managerial supervision is crucial. There is still a disconnect between the academic notions of supervision and their practical application, especially at madrasahs in the Pidie region. A qualitative descriptive methodology was used in this study, which included document analysis, observations, and interviews. The results show that, in spite of obstacles including a lack of professional development and environmental difficulties, principals use a variety of supervisory techniques to deal with teacher discipline concerns. To improve teacher discipline in primary Islamic schools, the study finds that contextualized policies and focused training are essential for bolstering management supervision.
