Abstract

Economic crises pose a significant threat to business continuity, necessitating strategies that strengthen organizational resilience. This study investigates the role of digital transformation in enhancing business resilience during times of economic recession. Through a systematic literature review of scholarly articles, case studies, and industry reports the research covers the retail, service, and manufacturing sectors. Using thematic analysis, key digital strategies were identified and classified. The results indicate that digital transformation strengthens business resilience through operational sustainability, efficiency, customer engagement, and increased adaptability. The retail and service sectors prioritize customer-oriented technologies, while manufacturing focuses on automation. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) also demonstrate increased resilience despite facing resource constraints. These findings underscore the importance of tailored digital strategies to address economic instability. This study provides a conceptual contribution to digital resilience and offers practical implications for businesses seeking to invest in adaptive and scalable technologies. Further research is recommended to assess long-term impacts and develop industry-specific resilience frameworks.

Abstract

Diversity of opinion (khilafiyah) and schools of Islamic legal thought (mazhab) are inseparable phenomena in the history of Islamic development. This research focuses on examining the basic concept of khilafiyah and the existence of mazhab within the framework of Al-Islam KeMuhammadiyahan. This study uses a qualitative method of library research, examining classical fiqh literature, the history of Islamic law, and the Muhammadiyah Tarjih guidelines. The discussion focuses on two main points: First, the nature of madhhab as a systematic methodology (manhaj) in exploring law, not merely the opinions of prominent figures. Second, the nature of khilafiyah as a logical consequence of differences in methodology in the realm of furu'iyah (branches of religion), not in the realm of ushul (principles of faith). The results of the study indicate that the dynamics of khilafiyah arise due to variations in the understanding of the text of the dalil and differences in sociological conditions between madhhabs. From a Muhammadiyah perspective, a complete understanding of the position of madhhab and the causes of khilafiyah is very important to avoid blind fanaticism (taqlid) and build a moderate (wasathiyah) and tolerant religious attitude amidst differences in the community.

Abstract

This article discusses the concept of Islamic brotherhood (ukhuwah Islamiyah) as a fundamental principle in building unity and harmony among Muslims. The purpose of this study is to explain the meaning, essence, and foundations of ukhuwah Islamiyah, identify factors that hinder its realization, and propose efforts to strengthen Islamic brotherhood in social life. This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach through literature review by analyzing relevant references such as the Qur’an, Hadith, and scholarly works related to ukhuwah Islamiyah. The results show that ukhuwah Islamiyah is a spiritual and social bond based on faith and piety, which plays a crucial role in maintaining unity, tolerance, and cooperation among Muslims. Factors hindering ukhuwah include arrogance, negative prejudice, unmanaged differences of opinion, and lack of awareness of the importance of brotherhood

Abstract

Morality (akhlaq) constitutes the core of Islamic teachings and serves as a guiding principle in shaping the complete personality of human beings. In the modern context, moral values are often eroded by technological advancement, globalization, and rapid social change. This study aims to examine in depth the concept of akhlaq in Islam, its theological and philosophical foundations, and its relevance in education and contemporary social life. The approach employed in this research is descriptive-analytical, through the examination of classical and contemporary literature. The findings indicate that Islamic morality is derived from the Qur’an, Hadith, and the thoughts of scholars such as Al-Ghazali and Ibn Miskawayh, who emphasize the balance between reason, the heart, and actions. In the modern era, akhlaq plays a central role in shaping the character of the younger generation to be individuals of integrity, empathy, and adaptability in facing the developments of the time. Moral education thus becomes essential in addressing moral degradation caused by hedonism, individualism, and digital disinformation.

Abstract

Muhammadiyah is an Islamic movement founded by Ahmad Dahlan in 1912 with the aim of promoting reform (tajdid) in Muslim society. The ethos of Muhammadiyah is grounded in the purification of Islamic teachings based on the Qur’an and Sunnah, a spirit of reform, rationality, and a strong orientation toward concrete social action. The movement emphasizes education, social services, healthcare, and community empowerment as manifestations of enlightened and progressive da‘wah. Muhammadiyah’s vision is the realization of a truly Islamic society—one that upholds sound faith, noble character, justice, prosperity, and a high level of civilization. Through its reformist ethos and transformative social vision, Muhammadiyah plays an active role in advancing religious, national, and humanitarian life based on progressive and inclusive Islamic values.

Abstract

The history of Islamic development is a dynamc one involving phases of brilliant progress and periods of significant decline. These conditions of decline triggered the birth of the renewal movement (tajdid) as an effort to revitalize the community ini respondinh to the challenges of the times. This article examines the genealogy of the Islamic renewal movement by tracing its historial roots from the classical period to the modern era. The study focuses on how renewal functioned as an instrument of revitalization through the mechanisms of ijtihad and adaptation to modernity and western colonialism. This investigation also highlights the contributions of global thinkers such as Jamaluddin Al-Afghani and Muhammad Abduh, as well as local Indonesian figures Such as Ahmad Dahlan and Hasyim Asy’ari. The analysis shows that the renewal movement is not an aberration, but rather an integral intellectual tradition within Islam that maintans the relevance of teachings amidst ever-evolving global change.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the ideology of the Muhammadiyah movement as a normative and operational foundation in conducting da‘wah, social activities, and organizational management amid the dynamics of modern society. This research employs a qualitative approach using library research. The findings indicate that the ideology of the Muhammadiyah movement is rooted in the principles of tawhid, amar ma‘ruf nahi munkar, and tajdid, which affirm Muhammadiyah’s character as a modernist and progressive Islamic movement. This ideology is not merely normative in nature but also functions as a practical framework for the development of charitable enterprises in the fields of education, health, social services, and community empowerment. Furthermore, Muhammadiyah’s ideology is dynamic and adaptive to contemporary challenges, including globalization, value disruption, and technological advancement. However, the study also identifies challenges in the internalization of ideology, particularly related to cadre formation and the strengthening of ideological commitment at the grassroots level. Therefore, the reinforcement and revitalization of Muhammadiyah’s ideology through sustainable cadre development are considered strategic necessities to ensure the continuity and relevance of the movement in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Muhammadiyah as a progressive Islamic movement in the context of modern Indonesian society. Muhammadiyah is an Islamic organization founded by Ahmad Dahlan in 1912 with the spirit of tajdid (renewal) and purification of Islamic teachings. The concept of progressive Islam promoted by Muhammadiyah emphasizes the integration of Islamic values, modernity, science, and social progress. This study uses a qualitative approach with library research methods. Data were obtained through analysis of official Muhammadiyah documents, books, and relevant scientific journals. Data analysis techniques were used descriptively and analytically to understand the ideological foundations, forms of the movement, and Muhammadiyah's contributions in the fields of education, health, and social services. The research results show that Muhammadiyah, as a progressive Islamic movement, plays an active role in building a civilization based on the values ​​of monotheism, rationality, and social benefit. Through its charitable endeavors in various fields, Muhammadiyah is able to present a model of Islamic movement that adapts to changing times without abandoning the basic principles of Islamic teachings. Thus, the concept of progressive Islam is relevant as a paradigm for building a religious, modern, and civilized society.

Abstract

Abstract: The formulation of the problem in this study is how the judge’s consideration in rejecting the marriage status of underage children in the determination of Number 0092 / Pdt.P / 2018 / PA.Mna; What is the legal status and impact of marriage for minors in the determination of Number 0092 / Pdt.P / 2018 / PA.Mna according to Islamic law and positi law. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study, that the judge’s consideration in rejecting the marriage of a minor in the determination of Number 0092 / Pdt.P / 2018 / PA.Mna is Marriage Law Number 1 of 1974 Article 7 paragraphs (1) and (2) which states that Marriage is only permitted if the male has reached the age of 19 and the woman has reached the age of 16. In case of deviation from paragraph (1) of this article, dispensation may be requested from a court or other official. If there is a rejection of the marriage certificate, then the marriage does not have legal force, because the marriage has not been registered at the KUA or the civil registry office. The legal status and impact of the marriage of minors in the determination of Number 0092 / Pdt.P / 2018 / PA. Meaning according to Islamic law and positive law is: a) if both parents are divorced, the child is difficult to obtain property because legally the marriage is considered never occurs by State. The relationship between children and property is gono gini, because the father or mother continues to care for and educate their children solely on the basis of the child’s interests, the father is responsible for all the care and education of the child, if in fact the father cannot fulfill this obligation, the court can determine that the mother shared the costs. b) The wife and children are also not entitled to support and inheritance if the husband dies. c) Children have difficulty obtaining a birth certificate because their parents do not have a marriage certificate. Abstrak: Rumusan permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana pertimbangan hakim dalam menolak itsbat nikah perkawinan anak dibawah umur pada penetapan Nomor 0092/Pdt.P/2018/PA.Mna; Bagaimana status hukum dan dampak perkawinan anak dibawah umur pada penetapan Nomor 0092/Pdt.P/2018/PA.Mna menurut hukum Islam dan hukum positi. Jenis penelitian adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian, bahwa pertimbangan hakim dalam menolak itsbat nikah perkawinan anak dibawah umur pada penetapan Nomor 0092/Pdt.P/2018/PA.Mna adalah Undang-undang perkawinan Nomor 1 Tahun 1974 Pasal 7 ayat (1) dan (2) yang menyatakan bahwa perkawinan hanya di izinkan jika pihak pria sudah mencukupi umur 19 tahun dan pihak wanita sudah mencapai umur 16 tahun. Dalam hal penyimpangan terhadap ayat (1) pasal ini dapat meminta dispensasi kepada pengadilan atau pejabat lain. Apabila terjadi penolakan itsbat nikah maka perkawinan itu belum mempunyai kekuatan hukum, karena perkawinannya belum dicatatkan di KUA atau kantor catatan sipil. Status hukum dan dampak perkawinan anak dibawah umur pada penetapan Nomor 0092/Pdt.P/2018/PA.Mna menurut hukum Islam dan hukum positif adalah: a) jika kedua orang tuanya bercerai anak sulit mendapatkan harta gono gini karena secara hukum pernikahannya dianggap belum pernah terjadi menurut Negara. Hubungannya anak dengan harta gono gini, karena bapak atau ibu tetap memelihara dan mendidik anak-anaknya semata-mata berdasarkan kepentingan anak, bapak yang bertanggung jawab atas semua pemeliharaan dan pendidikan anak itu, bilamana bapak dalam kenyataan tidak dapat memenuhi kewajiban tersebut, pengadilan dapat menentukan bahwa ibu ikut memikul biaya tersebut. b) Istri dan anak juga tidak berhak atas nafkah dan warisan jika suami meninggal dunia. c) Anak kesulitan mendapatkan akta kelahiran sebab orang tuanya tidak mempunyai akta nikah. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemanfaatan ecobrick sebagai media kreatif upcycling dalam menumbuhkan jiwa wirausaha, kemandirian, dan kreativitas siswa MINU Waru 1 Sidoarjo. Kegiatan upcycling dengan ecobrick diterapkan melalui pembelajaran berbasis proyek, di mana siswa dilibatkan secara langsung dalam proses pengumpulan sampah plastik, pembuatan ecobrick, hingga pengembangan produk kerajinan yang memiliki nilai guna dan nilai jual. Ecobrick dimanfaatkan sebagai sarana pembelajaran berbasis proyek, di mana siswa diajak mengolah sampah plastik menjadi produk bernilai guna seperti pot tanaman, hiasan meja, dan celengan. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan pendekatan asset based community development (ABCD). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan ecobrick tidak hanya meningkatkan kepedulian siswa terhadap lingkungan, tetapi juga memicu ide-ide inovatif dalam menciptakan produk upcycling. Selain itu, kegiatan ini mendorong tumbuhnya jiwa wirausaha melalui praktik pemasaran sederhana, melatih kemandirian dalam penyelesaian tugas, serta membangun kreativitas dalam merancang karya. Dengan demikian, ecobrick terbukti menjadi media pembelajaran yang efektif untuk mengembangkan karakter wirausaha, mandiri, dan kreatif pada siswa sekolah dasar.
