Abstract

Pendidikan dan pembelajaran IPS ialah salah satu aspek yang sangat penting yang perlu diajarkan di sekolah. Namun nyatanya, salah satu permasalahan mengapa Pendidikan IPS begitu sulit untuk diintegrasikan, salah satunya dari peran guru itu sendiri. Dalam penyajian materi, guru lebih banyak berceramah Panjang lebar sehingga pembelajaran IPS dianggap kurang menarik oleh siswa. Akibatnya, pembelajarn ini relative kecil berpengaruh juga pada peningkatan pemahaman siswa saat proses pembelajaran serta berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Salah satu cara yang dapat dilakukan seorang guru dengan menerapkan metode bernyanyi dalam proses pembelajaran. Dengan metode bernyanyi ini, siswa dapat menguatkan daya ingat materi yang dipelajari dengan lagu, karena melalui sesuatu yang menarik dan menyenangkan lebih mudah teringat dalam pikiran. Penelitian ini menggunakan penlitian kuantitatif dengan Teknik pengumpulan data studi kepustakaan (Library Research). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa metode bernyanyi berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Term moderasi beragama lebih banyak berkutat pada kalangan intelek. Buku yang mengangkat term moderasi beragama untuk anak usia dini masih minim sekali. Terdapat kendala dalam menjelaskan term moderasi beragama dalam mata pelajaran bagi anak usia dini, terlebih lagi anak usia dini masih pada tahap awal mengenal agama. Hal seperti itu mudah sekali di terima oleh anak yang kurang memiliki karakter kebangsaan dan moderasi beragama yang kuat. Pendidikan karakter sangat penting, terlebih pada anak usia dini. Jika mereka tumbuh pada dalam lingkungan yang harmonis, toleran, damai, maka mereka akan mengembangkan perilaku dan pikiran dengan sehat dan bijaksana. Pimpinan Daerah Aisyiyah Kota Medan merupakan salahsatu Ortom Persyarikatan Muhammdiyah melalui Majelis Pendidikan Dasar dan Menengah yang merupakan mitra dalam kegiatan PKPM ini, memiliki peran penting dan strategis dalam mempersiapkan generasi yang berkarakter, yang tentunya yang berorientasi pada nilai-nilai ajaran Islam Wasathiyah. Abstract

The Guidance and Counseling Instructor's Role in Supervising Private Vocational School Students at School Students' bad behavior known as truancy includes not attending school without permission, missing certain class hours, and returning home after school has begun. The purpose of this study is to ascertain the causes of truancy among students and the consequences of such behavior at school. It is common knowledge that truancy results in learning failure. The descriptive qualitative method was utilized in this study. According to the findings of the research that was carried out, the behavior of truancy is influenced by both internal and external factors like a lack of motivation and interest in learning, juvenile delinquency, and friends who like truants but don't like certain teachers or lessons. They frequently receive calls from counseling teachers as a result of truancy, and they miss lessons, which can result in lower grades or, the most serious outcome, expulsion from school. Abstract

Education as a place for students to gain knowledge with the teaching given by the teacher in order to build the personality of students so that they have good character and noble character. The teacher as a teaching provider does not only provide lessons in the classroom, but also as a character building for students to be able to have a noble attitude in the surrounding environment. The method used in this research is qualitative method. The purpose of this study is to find out and examine how the role of education plays a role in shaping student character. The results of this study indicate that the role of education is very good. This can be seen from students who have good personalities. However, there are a number of things that need to be improved, such as the activeness of the teacher in giving moral messages to students in learning. keywords: role, education, character

Abstract

This study aims to (1) find out the role of social studies teachers in improving social attitudes and responsibilities at SMP Al-Washliyah 42 Berastagi; (2) Knowing the social attitudes of SMP Al-Washliyah 42 Berastagi; (3) Knowing the responsibilities of SMP Al-Washliyah 43 Berastagi; (4) Knowing the influence of the social studies teacher's role in improving the social attitudes of SMP Al-Washliyah 42 Berastagi students; and (5) to know the influence of social studies teacher's role in increasing the responsibility of SMP Al-Washliyah 42 Berastagi students. Where the teacher has a big role in determining and improving the social attitudes and responsibilities of students. The current role of the teacher is not only as an academic educator, but also as an educator for his students. Every teacher must be a motivator, corrector, and guide for students in forming their personal character. This makes the social studies teacher's role in improving the social attitudes and responsibilities of students at SMP Al-Washliyah 42 Berastagi in practice being an example for schools in cultivating social attitudes and student responsibility in order to achieve educational goals based on laws and regulations. This study aims to explain the role of social studies teachers in improving students' social attitudes and responsibilities inside and outside of learning at SMP Al-Washliyah 42 Berastagi. This research includes research with a qualitative approach to the type of research using descriptive methods. The method used by researchers is the method of interviews, observation, and documentation. The result of the research is that the social studies teacher's role in improving students' social attitudes and responsibilities in learning is as a motivator, corrector and mentor, initiator, facilitator, evaluator, demonstrator, organizer and informer. Meanwhile, the social studies teacher's role in improving students' social attitudes and responsibilities outside of learning is as a guide, evaluator, demonstrator, and as a proofreader. The social studies teacher's obstacles in forming social attitudes and responsibilities are 1. The teacher cannot always monitor the behavior of students because the teacher's task is not only to teach but also to carry out other tasks, 2. The evaluation is not as maximal as possible, 3 The environmental situation does not support implementing formation of social attitudes and maximum responsibility. Abstract

Learning as a business process carried out by someone to obtain a new behavior change as a whole. The teacher's ability to use instructional media aims to make students active and easy to absorb material. Learning activities do not always run straight, there are several obstacles that make students experience difficulties in the learning process, including social studies learning at Darul Ulum Budi Agung Private MTs, Medan City. This study aims to find out about the factors that influence social studies learning difficulties by using qualitative research methods. In the research results obtained, there are two influencing factors, namely internal factors which come from students' learning interests, the effectiveness of the teacher in making the learning process interesting, and external factors in the form of coming from the role of parents in controlling student learning at home. Abstract

Field applications show that social science education is still mainly at the theoretical level. Even the attitude that social studies education is only "as a rote lesson" is only partially responded to by teachers who solely concentrate on the purpose of providing content in the form of theory. The learning process that takes place in the classroom shows that education in schools has not been able to optimize students' creative thinking abilities, especially in using these abilities to solve the challenges they face everyday. To encourage student creativity, teachers must have their own creative skills. If the teacher acts as a creative pilot for the class, student creativity will also emerge. To fulfill the real social studies educational goals, the subject matter that has been arranged in the syllabus must be well developed. New ideas or ideas that have never been thought of before are considered creative. In the field of education, creativity is very important to understand the lesson or understand all the upcoming assignments. For this reason, efforts must be made to foster creativity starting from elementary school or from an early age. Abstract

This article was created with the title “Palestinian Conflict with Israel (The Fate of Palestinian Children’s Education)” with the aim of informing readers about the conflict that occurred between Palestine and Israel, specifically which has an impact on the field of education. The method used in this article is descriptive qualitative with documentation techniques as the data collection technique. Thus it can be seen that the conflict between Palestine and Israel occurred because the Palestinian territories were seized by force in a cruel way by Israel. The United Nations has tried to provide regulations to resolve the conflict but to no avail because it received a veto right from the United States. Many bad impacts arising from the conflict, one of which is in the field of education. Indonesia has very good relations with Palestine, so that Indonesia provides a lot of aid for Palestine. This good relationship originated from Palestine’s recognition of the independence of the Republic of Indonesia, so that good relations between Indonesia and Palestine are very closely intertwined like friends and brothers from the past until now.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to Find out the performance of schools in implementing Independent Learning at SMP Negeri 5 One Roof Sitellu Tali Urang Jehe Pakpak Bharat, and Knowing the Obstacles to School Performance in Implementing Freedom of Learning at SMP Negeri 5 One Roof Sitellu Tali Urang Jehe Pakpak Bharat. 3) Knowing the Solution to Overcoming School Performance in the Implementation of Independent Learning at SMP Negeri 5 One Roof Sitellu Tali Urang Jehe Pakpak Bharat. The research method is a qualitative. The data analysis technique in this research is qualitative data analysis. Data collection techniques using interviews, documentation and observation. The results of this research are: 1) The school's performance in implementing the Independent Learning curriculum at SMP Negeri 5 One Roof Sitellu Tali Urang Jehe Pakpak Bharat has not been optimal because some teachers have not been able to adapt to the Independent Learning curriculum, teaching modules are available but the implementation of differentiated learning has not been found even though the school principal has designed all socialization activities, teachers have also implemented the Independent Learning curriculum at school. 2) Obstacles to school performance in implementing the Merdeka curriculum for learning at SMP Negeri 5 One Roof Sitellu Tali Urang Jehe Pakpak Bharat are incomplete facilities and infrastructure, then a lack of socialization and assistance to the Merdeka curriculum for teachers, then a lack of teacher pedagogical ability in implementing the curriculum Freedom to learn, especially related to P5. The solution to overcoming school performance in the implementation of Freedom to Learn at SMP Negeri 5 One Roof Sitellu Tali Urang Jehe Pakpak Bharat is that teachers must be united and motivate themselves to further upgrade their abilities, teachers need training, assistance with the Merdeka learning curriculum and facilities and Infrastructure needs to be equipped so that the teaching and learning process runs well.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out: Management planning for the implementation of the independent learning curriculum at SMP Negeri 1 Sitellu Tali Urang Jehe Pakpak Bharat. Implementation of management of the implementation of the independent learning curriculum at SMP Negeri 1 Sitellu Tali Urang Jehe Pakpak Bharat and Evaluation of implementation management of the independent learning curriculum at SMP Negeri 1 Sitellu Tali Urang Jehe Pakpak Bharat.. This research method is qualitative research. Data collection was carried out by documentation, observation and interviews. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The research results and conclusions are 1) Management planning for the implementation of the independent learning curriculum at SMP Negeri 1 Sitellu Tali Urang Jehe Pakpak Bharat has not been optimal, where thorough preparation starting from compiling teaching modules has not yet been done by a separate teacher, but the teacher already understands the learning outcomes, ATP, then assessment. Then the use of learning models is also not optimal because differentiated learning has not been implemented. Regarding teaching media and teaching materials, teachers have used them, however, this is not the work of the teachers themselves. 2) The implementation of the Independent Learning curriculum at SMPN 1 Sitellu Tali Urang Jehe means that the teacher has created a teaching module and understands the content in this teaching module, but the teaching module created by the teacher is not in accordance with the teacher's manual in hand. For learning media, teachers have used innovative video-based media, but the videos used are not their own work. Regarding the implementation learning model, some teachers have used innovative learning models, but some still use conventional models. 3) The evaluation carried out takes the form of supervision, where supervision is carried out by the school principal to evaluate the extent to which the implementation of the Merdeka curriculum is implemented. Then a work shop was also held, in the workshop also carried out evaluations for teacher progress. However, supervision is only carried out once per semester, and this is considered less effective in adapting to teacher needs in implementing the Merdeka Belajar curriculum.
