Abstract

Purpose of the study: This research aims to analyzing the pragmatics of the social meaning of Indonesian which is then translated into Arabic Methodology: This study uses a qualitative method with a comparative study type of research, with a pragmatic analysis approach, the data source of this study is coption and speech acts of adolescents. The data collection technique of this researcher is the listening and recording technique. Main Findings: The speech acts of teenagers who follow the language of social media result in the person they are communicating with not being able to receive the information that the speaker wants to convey, this is what can result in different pragmatic social meanings. Novelty/Originality of this study: There are pragmatic differences in social meaning related to expressions of anger, disappointment, sadness and admiration in Indonesian which are then translated into Arabic. Abstract

Availability of appropriate books and in accordance with the rules of preparation of teaching materials (textbooks) will certainly help the successful implementation of the latest curriculum. Moreover, the learning process and Arabic language textbooks published by the latest Ministry of Religion have presented a Genre Based Approach. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the Genre Based Approach in the Arabic language textbook material for the ninth grade students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of literature study. The qualitative data was obtained through documentation techniques. The results showed that the implementation of genre pedagogy was not perfect. There are still some patterns that have not been presented in this textbook. Among them, the discussion of the type of text, the structure of the text, and the social purpose of the text and the inappropriate placement of exercises.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of ecolinguistic factors on the misuse of ḍamīr (pronouns) in Arabic conversations among students in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren). Employing a qualitative descriptive method, data were collected through interviews, observations, and linguistic error analysis. The findings indicate that environmental elements—such as the habitual use of local languages and the limited exposure to Arabic in daily interactions—significantly contribute to errors in the use of ḍamīr. Among the types of pronouns, ḍamīr muttaṣil exhibited the highest frequency of errors (60%), followed by ḍamīr munfaṣil (30%) and ḍamīr mustatir (10%). These errors occurred more frequently in informal contexts, underscoring the role of situational language use. The study highlights the critical role of an immersive and supportive language environment in fostering accurate Arabic usage. Its implications are relevant for the refinement of Arabic language instruction in pesantren, offering pedagogical recommendations to enhance language competence through ecolinguistically responsive teaching strategies.

Abstract

Abstract:Artikel ini menjelaskan tentang pentingnya menggunakan media dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar khususnya media untuk hafalan mufrodat bahasa arab. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang penggunaan media pembalajaran dan pengaruh penggunaan media sambung huruf terhadap peningkatan hafalan mufrodat bahasa Arab. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua tholibat kursusan Al-‘Alam pondok pesantren Darussalam Blokagung dengan jumlah 31 santri. Seluruh santri terpilih karena apabila subjeknya kurang dari 100, lebih baik diambil semua sehingga penelitiannya merupakan penelitian populasi. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis diperoleh besarnya koefisien korelasi (r) adalah 53,259 lebih besar dari 4,18 dengan taraf signifikan 5%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ha diterima, yaitu terdapat “pengaruh media sambung huruf terhadap peningkatan hafalan mufrodat bahasa arab peserta kursusan”. Hasil penelitian ini menginformasikan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara media pembelajaran terhadap hafalan mufrodat bahasa arab santri. Abstract

Abstract: The COVID-19 pandemic has necessitated rapid adaptation to digital and remote learning, fundamentally altering traditional pedagogical practices. For English Education students, especially those engaged in literature courses, drama performance has long been a valuable tool for exploring and expressing literary understanding. However, the sudden shift to online learning environments presented unique challenges, pushing students to reconceptualize drama performance in a virtual setting. This study investigates how English Education students creatively adapted to these changes by producing virtual drama performances through the Zoom platform. The integration of virtual backgrounds, designed using Canva, allowed students to construct imaginative settings that supported narrative immersion, despite the physical separation. This research highlights the ways students utilized digital tools to convey dramatic elements and literary interpretation, transforming conventional stagecraft into an innovative, digital form of storytelling. Through in-depth analysis, this article explores how these virtual performances not only maintained the integrity of drama as a medium for literary education but also fostered critical technological skills that are increasingly relevant in the digital era. The findings demonstrate that virtual drama projects encouraged students to combine creativity with technical proficiency, enhancing their adaptability, digital literacy, and ability to collaborate in a remote context. This study underscores the evolving role of literature-based performance in English Language Teaching (ELT), suggesting that the integration of digital tools in creative projects may serve as a sustainable model for literature education in the post-pandemic future.

Abstract

PT. Anugrah Restu Selatan adalah perusahaan berbentuk perseroan, perusahaan ini berlokasi di Kec. Saketi, Kab. Pandeglang, Prov. Banten, perusahaan ini bergerak dalam bidang penjualan bahan material, PT. Anugrah Restu Selatan masih menggunakan metode manual dalam mencatat bahan material dan penjualan, dengan proses transaksi yang masih manual sering kali terjadi kesalahan dalam transaksi manual, sehingga diperlukan sebuah sistem perangkat lunak untuk mengoptimalkan dalam transaksi penjualan dan laporan penjualan. Dengan memanfaatkan aplikasi berbasis website resiko kesalahan pencatatan yang terjadi dalam proses manual dapat dikurangi. Data transaksi dan laporan penjualan lebih akurat sehingga memudahkan perencanaan bisnis. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode waterfall, pengembangan perangkat lunak yang linear dan berurutan yaitu, analisis kebutuhan (requirement), desain atau merancang dari kebutuhan yang dianalisis (design), penulisan kode dari setiap modul yang telah dirancang (implementation), pengujian sistem (verification), perbaikan dan peningkatan (maintenance). Membangun aplikasi berbasis website untuk mendukung proses penjualan dan pembuatan laporan transaksi. Tujuan dari membangun perangkat lunak ini adalah untuk mempermudah transaksi, pengelola data penjualan, dan menghasilkan laporan bulanan yang lebih efisien.Kata Kunci : Algoritma C4.5, Kepuasan Pelanggan, Pohon Keputusan, Shopee, Platform E-Bisnis.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the phenomenon of Arabic phonological assimilation among beginner students in Islamic boarding schools, with a particular focus on the application of idghām rules. The research is motivated by the observation that many novice learners struggle to connect written Arabic texts with accurate pronunciation, which affects their reading fluency and comprehension. The study employed a qualitative case study design using classroom observations, semi-structured interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The data were analyzed descriptively to identify phonological errors and the underlying factors contributing to assimilation difficulties. The findings reveal that beginner learners encounter significant challenges in applying the rules of idghām, mainly due to limited phonological awareness, the absence of explicit phonological instruction, and interference from their native language. However, the results also indicate that systematic guidance and repeated practice gradually improve students’ pronunciation accuracy. The implications of these findings highlight the importance of developing explicit, contextual, and technology-based phonological instruction that addresses the specific needs of beginner learners in Islamic boarding schools. Furthermore, the study opens avenues for future research to compare phonological acquisition in pesantren and formal schools, evaluate the effectiveness of digital media in supporting phonological awareness, and conduct longitudinal studies to trace the development of assimilation competence over time.

Abstract

Background: The phenomenon of code mixing at Student Entrepreneur Islamic Boarding School of Nurul Islam 2 (PPME Nuris 2), especially in the AIQ program in which students are required to speak Arabic although they have not mastered all the vocabularies yet, so that the mixing code between Arabic and regional languages, including Javanese or Madurese, influences the dialect of every University student of this program. Aims: This research is expected to answer the questions about what influences the appearance of code mixing and dialectology, the process of forming code mixing and dialectology, and the influence of dialectology and code mixing on students. Methods: This research used a qualitative approach with a case study as its research type. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and triangulation around the Student Entrepreneur Islamic Boarding School of Nuris 2 using participatory observation, guided interviews, data triangulation, and sources. Results: This study revealed that the emergence of code-mixing and dialectology among students is influenced by internal and external factors, including their environment and personal experiences. This process is shaped by the diverse regional backgrounds of the students, their social interactions, and academic demands. Dialectology and code-mixing contribute positively to students' Arabic-speaking proficiency, as code-mixing is part of language acquisition, helping students develop confidence in speaking a second language fluently and accurately. However, it also challenges Arabic grammar, as excessive code-mixing can disrupt linguistic structures, making the language appear less formal and potentially hindering proper learning. Implications: This study makes significant contributions to socio-linguistic and ecolinguistic studies, especially regarding how social interactions and environmental factors influence the students’ use of Arabic. It deepens understanding of social dynamics that influence language, such as code-mixing usage in multilingual conversation.
