Abstract

Cigarettes are rolls of tobacco which, when consumed, cause harmful effects to both those who smoke them and those who inhale the smoke. Many teenagers are now starting to recognize and try smoking cigarettes. The aim of this research is to find out the effectiveness of the MANGKOK (Teenager Prevent Smoking) game in increasing knowledge and motivation of teenagers at SMPN 01 Lalonggasumeeto in 2023. The research method used is a quantitative approach, Pre-Experimental design type using a one group pretest and posttest design. . The population of this study was 85 students, while the sample was 46 respondents taken using a purposive sampling technique using the Slovin formula. The results of the Paired Sample T-Test show that there is an increase in knowledge and motivation before and after being given the MANGKOK game to teenagers at SMPN 01 Lalonggasumeeto in 2023 with the respective knowledge p-value (0.000) < alpha (0.05) and p-value of motivation (0.001) < alpha (0.05). This research was carried out for 21 days.

Abstract

Pneumonia is wrong One tract infection acute respiratory infection caused by microorganisms in respiratory system starting from the nose, ears, larynx, trachea, bronchus, bronchioles, up to the lungs , which lasts not enough more than 14 days . One of the supporting factors in preventing pneumonia in children under five is the behavior of mothers of toddlers . Forms of maternal behavior patterns that can be implemented in preventing pneumonia, especially at home, include : give exclusive breast milk for the first six months, give vaccines in baby new born on the first year of birth , keep the environment clean and get the child used to living a healthy life . Objective study This For know description behavior Mother about prevention of pneumonia in child toddler . Type study This is Quantitative research using descriptive methods . The population of this study is all mothers who have children under five who are recorded in the register book in the work area of the Mekar Health Center, Kendari City in 2023. as much 1,226 respondents , sample in study This is as big as 92 respondents . The retrieval technique is carried out with random sampling technique or Cluster Random Sampling . Results study appointment that Behavior Mother about prevention of pneumonia in child toddler , respondent with own knowledge which is sufficient as much as 83.70 %, own positive attitude as much as 65.22%, own good actions amounted to 51.09%, own respondents had easy access to information with as many as 75.00 % And own 84.78% of respondents had easy access to health services , In the Work Area Public health center Blossom Subdistrict Head of Kendari City Year 2023.

Abstract

Cigarettes contain tobacco leaves which are very harmful to health. Currently, cigarettes are found in all circles, including adolescents. This service aims to increase the knowledge of SMPN 01 Lalonggasumeeto students of Konawe Regency about smoking through an educational game created, namely the MANGKOK game. Students who are willing to be respondents are 46 students. The service process is carried out by giving serial numbers to respondents then every time a game will be called 7 respondents who will be asked questions. Education was given when the respondents were in the game arena when each respondent finished answering the questions. Knowledge was measured using pretest and posttest questionnaires and processed using the Epi Info application. The results of the Paired Sample T-Test test showed that there was an increase in knowledge after being given the MANGKOK game to adolescents at SMPN 01 Lalonggasumeeto with a p-value (0.000) < alpha (0.05). From the question and answer session, students were hesitant in answering the questions given. Although there was an increase in knowledge, but for the types of questions about the types of cigarettes, their effects, and how to prevent them, there were still some students who were wrong in answering. This service was carried out for 21 days.

Abstract

Word Health Organization (WHO) Early marriage is a marriage carried out by a couple or one of the partners is still categorized as a teenager under 19 years of age. The aim of this research is to describe the quality of life of women who marry at an early age in Sumampeno Village, North Wakorumba District, North Buton Regency. This research is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The informants in this research consisted of 2 main informants, namely women who married at an early age, 2 key informants, namely female family members who married at an early age, and 1 supporting informant, namely the Head of Sumampeno Village. The data collection technique is by in-depth interviews and then the data is analyzed using the content analysis method. The physical domain of all informants felt pain. The sleep quality of all informants had poor sleep quality. The psychology domain, namely negative feelings, all informants experienced negative feelings. Body image/appearance means that all informants do not like their current body shape because of changes in body shape.

Abstract

Cigarette advertising is a broadcast media both mass media and electronic media. Cigarette advertisements Linking cigarettes to a trendy, informal, confident, adventurous, and loyal image of friendship can influence smoking behavior. This study aims to explore the correlation between knowledge, attitudes, and actions towards cigarette advertisements and smoking behavior among adolescents in Mokoau Village, Kambu District in 2023. It employs quantitative analytical research with a cross-sectional approach conducted in Mokoau sub-district. The study population consists of 85 respondents, with a sample of 70 respondents determined using the Slovin formula and an accidental sampling technique. The researchers utilized a questionnaire as their data collection instrument. However, the findings indicated no significant correlation (p-value < 0.05) between knowledge, attitudes, actions towards cigarette advertisements, and smoking behavior among adolescents in the Mokoau Village area of Kendari City in 2023. Counseling should be carried out both in schools and in the community with anti-smoking programs. This program is carried out in the community, especially adolescents, providing information about the dangers of cigarettes for health.

Abstract

Kidney function loss is known as renal failure. When a patient's kidney function falls below 10%, they are diagnosed with end-stage renal disease (ESRD). A dialyzer is used to circulate the patient's blood during hemodialysis, a kidney replacement treatment. Metabolic waste products are then removed from the bloodstream, particularly those resulting from the metabolism of proteins. The purpose of this study is to comprehend the level of family support provided to adult patients with renal failure who are receiving hemodialysis at Bahteramas Hospital in the province of Southeast Sulawesi in 2023. The case study methodology of the qualitative research makes use of documenting, recording, interviewing, and observation techniques. Abstract

The aim of this research is to assess the impact of using audiovisual media on the knowledge, attitudes, and handwashing practices among preschool children at Wulele Sanggula Abeli Kindergarten in the Abeli Region in 2023. The research method employs a quantitative approach with a Pre-Experimental design and a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research sample consists of 40 children selected using total sampling technique. Research instruments include questionnaires and audiovisual media. The results indicate a significant improvement in knowledge (pre-test: 3.07; Post-test: 10.00), attitudes (pre-test: 3.15; Post-test: 10.00), and handwashing practices (pre-test: 2.30; Post-test: 6.00). It can be concluded that the use of audiovisual media has a positive influence on the knowledge, attitudes, and handwashing practices among preschool children at Wulele Sanggula Abeli, with important implications for improving hygiene and health habits in the school environment.

Abstract

Immunization is one of the measures to prevent the spread of disease in other areas which has been proven to be very cost effective. Measles rubella is a disease that can be transmitted through the air, namely when a sufferer sneezes or coughs. This disease can attack toddlers and children aged 9 months to 15 years, causing them to suffer from hearing loss, cataracts, speech delays and heart failure. This research aims to determine the effect of poster media on increasing knowledge, attitudes and actions of teachers in providing measles rubella immunization to elementary school students at SD It Al Wahdah Kendari in 2023. The research method used is a quantitative approach, pre experimental design type with research design one pre test-post test group. The research sample was 33 people using a total sampling technique. The instruments used in this research were questionnaires and posters. The results of this research show that the p-value of the Wilcoxon test for knowledge is 0.000, the attitude p-value is 0.000 and the action p-value is 0.000. It can be concluded that there is an influence of poster media on increasing teacher knowledge, attitudes and actions in providing measles rubella immunization because the p-value is <0.000.

Abstract

Anemia merupakan masalah gizi mikro dan masih menjadi masalah kesehatan masyarakat global, baik di negara berkembang maupun maju, dengan implikasi serius terhadap kesehatan manusia dan pembangunan sosio-ekonomi. Berdasarkan data World Health Organization (WHO) tahun 2015, lebih dari 30% atau setara dengan 2 milyar orang didunia berstatus anemia, prevalensi anemia pada remaja usia 15 - 49 tahun sebesar 29,6%. Berdasarkan data Riskesdas 2018, prevalensi anemia pada remaja di Indonesia mengalami kenaikan anemia menjadi 48,09%. Edukasi ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mencegah anemia pada remaja putri yang dilakukan di Di SMPN 12 Kendari dengan memperkenalkan program materi GENERASIKU, Penyuluhan ini menggunakan media poster yang didesain dengan materi yang singkat, padat dan jelas. Materi Edukasi ini juga menjelaskan tentang konsep Gizi seimbang dengan Isi Piringku yang harus lengkap unsur zat gizinya yaitu Karbohitrat/ makanan pokok, Protein. Buah juga sayuran dalam sekali makan. Edukasi ini juga memadukan antara materi dan games edukasi yang relevan sehingga menyenangkan bagi peserta edukasi. Peserta sangat antusias mengikuti edukasi ini dan diharapkan dengan menerapkan konsep GENERASIKU remaja putri akan terhindar dari anemia.

Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) merupakan penyakit tidak menular yang sifatnya jangka panjang dan jangka pendek karena komplikasinya sehingga menjadikan masalah kesehatan masyarakat utama. Diabetes merupakan penyakit yang berlangsung secara kronis hal ini disebabkan akibat kadar gula darah yang meningkat di atas batas nilai normal sehingga menyebabkan ganguan metabolik. Pengetahuan masyarakat yang kurang mengenai bahaya, pencegahan dan cara pengendalian penyakit diabetes ini yang menyebabkan penyakit ini semakin banyak terjad dimasyarakat sehingga perlu dilakukan penyuluhan dan edukasi kepada masyarakat terkhusus di desa Watunggarandu Kabupaten Konawe. Tujuan kegiatan ini ialah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat di Desa Watunggarandu terkait penyakit diabetes melitus yang difokuskan pada pencegahan melalui pola makan sehat. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan ialah melalui penyuluhan dan pemeriksaan kesehatan. Berdasarkan hasil kuesioner pre-test dan post-test di dapatkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dari hasil uji statistik yang dilakukan yaitu mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan setelah peyuluhan. Hal ini menandakan bahwa penyuluhan yang dilakukan berhasil. Kegiatan penyuluhan perlu dilakukan secara rutin dengan tujuan meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat sehingga dapat menegdukasi dan memberikan pandangan dan meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat untuk perperilaku hidup sehat.
