Abstract

Professional teachers are able to design creative learning, utilize information technology, and build a conducive learning climate. Teacher professionalism is closely linked to the success of the learning process and student academic achievement. This study aims to analyze the transformational leadership of the school principal, teacher professionalism, and community participation in supporting the improvement of educational quality at SMPN 2 Lingsar. The research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive design to obtain an in-depth understanding of educational quality improvement practices. The research instruments included interview guidelines, observation sheets, and documentation as the main data sources. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and systematic conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that transformational leadership, strong teacher professionalism, and active participation of the school committee and community significantly contribute to creating a conducive school climate and enhancing sustainable educational quality.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah memiliki peran strategis dalam membangun ketahanan organisasi sekolah di tengah dinamika perubahan pendidikan. Penguatan pola kepemimpinan dan budaya organisasi menjadi kunci dalam meningkatkan organizational resilience. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan organizational resilience melalui pola kepemimpinan dan budaya organisasi di SMAN 4 Mataram dan SMAN 8 Mataram. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 2 kepala sekolah, 8 wakil kepala sekolah, 4 guru, dan 4 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi kepala sekolah dilakukan melalui komunikasi terbuka dan partisipatif, pengambilan keputusan kolektif, pemberdayaan dan motivasi guru serta tenaga kependidikan, serta dorongan inovasi dan adaptasi terhadap perubahan. Penguatan budaya organisasi tercermin melalui nilai kebersamaan, kolaborasi, kedisiplinan, dan komitmen terhadap mutu pembelajaran. Keberhasilan didukung oleh sarana prasarana yang memadai, keterlibatan stakeholder, dan sistem pengelolaan yang terstruktur, sedangkan hambatan meliputi keterbatasan pelatihan guru, dinamika regulasi, dan tingginya beban administrasi. Kesimpulannya, strategi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah melalui penguatan pola kepemimpinan dan budaya organisasi berperan penting dalam meningkatkan organizational resilience sekolah secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Digital transformation has become a primary demand in improving the quality of educational governance in the modern era. This study aims to analyze the management of digital transformation in school administration at MAN 1 Mataram, focusing on the implementation process of the School Management Information System (SIMS), the benefits gained, and the challenges encountered. The research employed a qualitative descriptive method with a case study design, involving the principal, teachers, and administrative staff as research subjects. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that MAN 1 Mataram possesses strong digital infrastructure readiness, supported by adequate ICT facilities and competent human resources. The implementation of SIMS has improved administrative efficiency and data transparency; however, it still faces challenges such as power outages, limited internet quotas, and network disruptions. The study concludes that the success of digital transformation depends on infrastructure readiness, digital literacy, and policy support. The implication is that digitalizing school administration can strengthen governance and enhance the effectiveness of educational services. It is recommended that schools and the government continue to improve infrastructure stability, provide digital training, and offer ongoing support for digital-based madrasahs.
