Abstract

This study aims to analyze the difference in students' reading comprehension ability between innovative and conventional teaching methods. The research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The sample consists of 30 students, divided into two groups: the experimental group using innovative learning and the control group using conventional learning. Data was collected through a reading comprehension test and analyzed using an independent t-test. The results showed a significant difference between the two groups, with a t-value of 2.419 and a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.022, indicating that innovative learning is more effective in improving students' reading comprehension ability compared to conventional learning. These findings suggest that a more interactive and technology-based learning approach can enhance students' understanding. Therefore, innovative learning can be considered more effective in developing students' cognitive abilities.

Abstract

Learning is a core activity in an educational process. Learning can be carried out in class ordistance if necessary if there are obstacles to meet in a class due to situations and conditions that do not allow. This study aims to determine (1) the distance learning system that is applied, (2) the impact of the distance learning system on student achievement, (3) the constraints in implementing the distance learning system. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method with a type of descriptive qualitative research approach. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of distance learning still has many obstacles such as inadequate equipment and poor internet connections, besides that the increase in learning success is still small and ineffective.

Abstract

The iron tablets are iron folate tablets which each tablet contains 200 mg of Ferro Sulfate or 60 mg of elemental iron and 0.25 mg of folic acid. Adolescence is a period of transition from childhood to adulthood. At this time adolescents need sufficient nutritional needs to meet their needs. Because at this time the growth and development of adolescents is very fast. The most common nutritional problems in adolescents are energy and protein deficiency, anemia, and deficiencies of various vitamins and minerals. Young women are required to take Blood Supplement Tablets (TTD) because they experience menstrual cycles that come every month. This iron supplement is very useful in regenerating iron that has been lost due to menstruation and to meet the unmet need for iron from the food consumed daily. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes of young women with adherence to consuming iron tablets at MAS Al-Fata Pasir Agung. This research method was carried out using a descriptive quantitative research type with an observation approach. The population and sample of this study were young women in grades X, XI and XII. Data analysis was performed univariately, bivariately with the chi-square test. The results of this chi-square study are the relationship between knowledge and compliance: Pvalue 0.0001 and OR=161.0 (95% CI=13.3-1943.2) and the relationship between attitude and compliance: Pvalue 0.0001 and OR=4.000 (95% CI=2.1-7.2). The conclusion in this study is that there is a significant relationship between knowledge and attitudes of young women with adherence to consuming Fe tablets. Suggestions for young women are expected to be more active in finding information about Fe tablets to increase knowledge, improve their attitude so that they are more obedient in consuming Fe tablets.

Abstract

The Garut leather industry has demonstrated significant growth, driven by rising consumer demand for high-quality, locally produced goods. To sustain this development, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) must strengthen product design strategies and creative communication approaches. This study explores how business communication - through symbolic exchange embedded in design elements such as functionality, aesthetics, and innovation -contributes to the construction of brand identity in Garut leather products. Employing a qualitative approach, the research integrates market observation, consumer feedback analysis, and in-depth interviews with local producers. NVivo software is used to code and analyze data, enabling systematic identification of key themes in consumer perception and symbolic design. Findings indicate that features such as RFID-blocking technology, improved compartmental organization, and eco-conscious materials are not only functional enhancements but also serve as communicative symbols of modernity, trust, and craftsmanship. These symbolic design innovations play a crucial role in shaping consumer-brand relationships and enhancing market competitiveness. The study concludes that symbolic value in product design functions as an effective form of business communication, enabling MSMEs to articulate cultural identity while addressing evolving consumer expectations. This strategy is essential for positioning Garut leather products in both domestic and global markets.
