Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine student’s self confidence in solving problems similar to PISA with the content of change and relationship and the selected material, namely SPLDV. This research is a qualitative descriptive. The population of this research was class VIII MTs NU Nurul Huda with a sample of class VIII-B consisting of 34 students. Data collection in this research includes observations, questionnaires, written tests, interviews and documentation. The data analysis process including data reduction activities, data presentation and data collection using triangulation techniques. The results of this study indicate that students who have high self confidence have the ability to solve problems similar to PISA more than students who have moderate or low self confidence. Students who have moderate self confidence have the ability to solve problems similar to PISA more than students who have low self confidence.

Abstract

One strategy to provide innovation in learning is the development of learning media. This study aims to develop the KOMIKA-SAVI media in the context of the city of Jambi on social arithmetic material that is valid and feasible to use. This type of research is Research and Development (RnD) with the ADDIE method. The stages of the ADDIE method consist of analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate. The research subjects were 6 students of SMPN 12 Muaro Jambi. Media validation was assessed by media expert lecturers and material experts, as well as teachers. The research instrument was a media and material validation sheet, along with a research trial questionnaire. The results showed that the assessment of the media expert validators with an average (R) = 4.6 and material experts who gave an assessment with an average (R) = 4.5 from the assessment range of 1.00 R < 5.00 which means the media is valid. The results of student respones in the research trial got good media quality with an average positive student respone of 90.67%. So it can be concluded that the media is valid and feasible to use.

Abstract

The ability to think creatively is very important to be developed in students, especially when learning is starting to shift to blended learning where students are required to be able to organize portions and also how to learn independently, for this reason, students in this era need to grow their creative abilities to be able to keep up with educational developments. This study aims to conduct studies related to factors that can foster creative thinking skills. The research method used in this study is the SLR (Systematic Literture Review) method. Data collection is done by collecting similar research articles and limiting it to the topic of mathematical creative thinking skills. The articles used in this study were 20 articles with the topic of creative thinking skills. Based on the literature review, the most influencing factors in creative thinking skills are problem-based models and open-ended approaches. For this reason, using the CPS model with an open-ended approach will provide a model with a new alternative approach that can be tried to improve creative thinking skills.

Abstract

Mathematical literacy is one of the most important skills to be developed for each student. Moreover, in the era of the 4.0 century, literacy skills are very important for students to be able to solve problems in real life. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research in developing and improving students' mathematical literacy skills.This study aims to conduct a literature review related to the use of PBL in improving mathematical literacy skills. The research method chosen in this research is SLR (Systematic Literature Review. Data collection is done by documenting all articles that have similar research in this research report. The articles used in the study were 20 articles of accredited national journals from sinta 1 to sinta 4 obtained from google Based on this research, it was found that the PBL (Problem Based Learning) learning model can improve students' mathematical literacy skills. Based on the literature review conducted, the PBL learning model can be developed in learning mathematics at the SMP/MTS and SMA/MA levels. Keywords: Problem Based Learning, Mathematical Literacy, SLR Abstrak Kemampuan literasi matematika merupakan salah satu kemampuan yang sangat penting dikembangkan pada masing-masing siswa. Terlebih lagi pada era abad 4.0 bahwa kemampuan literasi menjadi sangat penting dimiliki oleh siswa untuk dapat menyelesaikan persoalan dalam kehidupan nyata. Oleh sebab perlu dilakukan penelitian dalam mengembangkan dan meningkatkan kemampuan literasi matematika siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan kajian literature terkait dengan penggunaan PBL dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi matematika. Metode penelitian yang dipilih dalam penelitian ini adalah SLR (Systematic Literature Review. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mendokumentasikan semua artikel yang memiliki penelitian serupa pada laporan penelitian ini. Artikel yang digunakan pada penelitian sebanyak 20 artikel jurnal nasional terakkreditasi sinta 1 hinga sinta 4 yang diperoleh dari google schoolar. Berdasarkan penelitian ini di dapatkan bahwa model pembelajaran PBL (Problem Based Learning)dapat meningkatkan kemampuan literasi matematika peserta didik. Berdasarkan kajian literatur yang dilakukan bahwa model pembelajaran PBL dapat dikembangkan dalam pembelajaran matematika di jenjang SMP/ MTS dan SMA/MA.

Abstract

This research aims to develop and determine the quality of integrated mathematics textbook for science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics (STEAM) in statistics materials. The research method uses the modified Sugiyono development model, including, 1) potential dan problems; 2) data collection; 3) product design; 4) design validation; 5) product test (readability test); and 6) the final product. The data were collected by a questionnaire and a readability test. To determine the practicality of the textbook, the questionnaire was validated by six experts while the readability test was given to students. The result showed that the teaching materials were valid with a validity test percentage of 88,99% and a readability test percentage of 80,62%. Thus, integrated textbook for STEAM are of high quality because they meet the suitability of characteristics, valid to use, and are practical or easily understood by students.

Abstract

Anemia adalah kelainanl darah umuml terjadi ketikal jumlah sell darah merahl dalam tubuhl terlalu lrendah. Anemial pada kehamilanl biasanya terjadil pada trimesterl 1 danl 3 ketika kadarl Hb di bawah l11gr/dl danl pada trimesterl kedua bila kadarl hb di bawah l10,5 gr/dl.ssalah satu cara mencegah dan mengobati anemia adalah dengan mengonsumsi tablet Fe yang kaya zat besi. Zatl besi (Fe) merupakanl unsur penting bagil tubuh yangl diperlukan untuk sintesis lhemoglobin. Mengonsumsi tabletl Fe sangatl erat kaitannya denganl kadar hemoglobinl pada ibul hamil. Anemial defisiensi oleh kegagalan atau kesalahan dalaml mengonsumsi tabletl Fe sehingga mengakibatkan kekurangan zatl besi yang tidakl dapat diserap olehl tubuh libu. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui gambaran implementasi pemberian tablet Fe padal ibu hamill dalam mencegah anemial di wilayah kerjal Puskesmas Kassi-Kassi Kotal Makassar. Metodel penelitian yangl digunakan adalah metode penelitianl kualitatif menggunakan desain penelitianl studi kasus bersifat studi kasus observasi. Informan pada studi kasus inil adalah ibul hamil trimesterl II danl III. Analisis data dilakukan denganl menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil implementasi setelah diberikan tablet Fe pada ketiga responden menunjukan 1 responden yang hasil Hb tergolong anemi ringan, dan 2 responden tergolong Hb normal, hal ini disebabkan kurangnya kepatuhanl ibu hamill dalam mengonsumsi tabletl Fe. Kesimpulannya pemberian tabletl Fe dapat mencegah lanemia, diharapkan ibul hamil patuh dan rutin mengonsumsi tablet Fe sesuai anjuran pikah kesehatan.

Abstract

The low participation of husbands as acceptors is due to lack of accurate knowledge, hence the need for health education. Health education on male contraception is the provision of information on how to prevent pregnancy by using tools or methods used by men. To determine the implementation of health education about male contraception on the willingness of husbands to become acceptors. The research method is qualitative research with a descriptive case study approach. The sample selection used the convinience sampling method, namely the selection of samples according to the wishes of researchers who were accidentally known or encountered with a sample size of 3 husbands with an age limit of 35 years. Data collection was carried out using observation and interview techniques. Based on the results of the case study, health education about male contraception can affect the husband's willingness to become acceptors because it increases the husband's knowledge about male contraception. The implementation of health education about male contraception has an influence on the husband's interest in becoming an acceptor. Keywords: Acceptor, Male Contraception, Health Education ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Rendahnya partisipasi suami menjadi akseptor disebabkan karena kurangnya pengetahuan yang akurat sehingga perlu dilakukan pendidikan kesehatan. Pendidikan kesehatan mengenai kontrasepsi pria adalah pemberian informasi mengenai cara pencegahan kehamilan dengan menggunakan alat atau metode yang digunakan oleh pria. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui implementasi pendidikan kesehatan tentang kontrasepsi pria terhadap kesediaan suami menjadi akseptor. Metode: Metode penelitian adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus deskriptif. Pemilihan sampel menggunakan metode convinience sampling yaitu pemilihan sampel sesuai dengan keinginan peneliti yang secara tidak sengaja dikenal atau dijumpai dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 3 suami dengan batasan usia 35 tahun. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi dan wawancara. Hasil: Berdasarkan hasil studi kasus bahwa pendidikan kesehatan tentang kontrasepsi pria dapat mempengaruhi kesediaan suami menjadi akseptor karena meningkatkan pengetahuan suami mengenai kontrasepsi pria. Kesimpulan: Penerapan implementasi pendidikan kesehatan tentang kontrasepsi pria memiliki pengaruh terhadap minat suami untuk menjadi akseptor. Abstract

This study examines the efficacy of Mobile-Assisted Language Learning (MALL) in improving English speaking skills among Indonesian senior high school students. Employing a mixed-methods approach, the research utilized a quasi-experimental design involving 70 students divided into experimental and control groups. The experimental group utilized mobile applications like ELSA Speak and HelloTalk, whilst the control group implemented conventional ESL methods. Speaking performance was measured through pre-test and post-test scores, complemented by questionnaires and interviews to explore learners’ perceptions.Quantitative findings reveal that although both groups demonstrated statistically significant improvement, the experimental group showed substantially greater gains. The control group recorded a modest mean increase of 1.63 points with a moderate effect size (Cohen’s d = 0.58), whereas the experimental group achieved a remarkable mean gain of 13.23 points, accompanied by a very large effect size (Cohen’s d = 3.36). These results indicate that MALL is considerably more effective than traditional instruction in improving English speaking proficiency. The reduced score variability in the experimental group further suggests more consistent learner achievement following the intervention. Qualitative findings indicate that MALL increased learners’ motivation, reduced speaking anxiety, and enhanced learner autonomy through flexible practice and immediate feedback. Despite its effectiveness, the study identified challenges related to technological constraints and initial instructor readiness. Issues such as unstable internet connectivity occasionally disrupted learning, and limited early guidance affected initial application use. However, these challenges did not significantly hinder learning outcomes when adequate teacher support was provided. Overall, the findings demonstrate that MALL offers a pedagogically effective approach to enhancing English speaking skills in the Indonesian high school context. When integrated thoughtfully with conventional instruction and supported by appropriate technological and instructional preparation, MALL has strong potential to transform speaking instruction and promote more engaging, autonomous, and effective language learning.

Abstract

Mathematics is a structured subject and is still interconnected between materials, sometimes there are students' assumptions about math lessons that are very difficult so students are lazy to learn making the learning environment unattractive for students. The teacher must start to make something interesting for students. Along with the development of technology, many things can be made to support learning, one of which is games. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method. The MaTtriG educational game was developed using software construct 3. The MaTriG game was designed with the help of Adobe Illustrator 2020. This MaTriG educational game is of the platformers game genre, the educational side of this game includes math material, one of which is a two-variable linear equation system for class VIII. A platform for creating MaTriG educational game applications with Android that can be played and learned anywhere.
