Abstract

The achievements achieved by students not only impact the students but, of course, also impact the educational institutions where the students attend school. The many academic achievements obtained by students will be beneficial not only for the image of educational institutions but also for various other positive things such as accreditation status and evaluation of school performance. Students' academic achievement will encourage students to continue to improve their competence and form a competitive spirit. This study examines and analyzes the role of learning culture and the application of problem-based learning on student academic achievement. This research is qualitative, where researchers conduct interviews and observations in collecting data. In addition, this study uses literature and previous research studies that discuss the same variables and problems, namely those related to student academic achievement. The unit of analysis in this study includes students at the high school level in Indonesia, while the observation unit involves teachers, principals, and parents of students. This study concludes that building a learning culture that is pro or supports the adoption and use of technology and digitalization in the learning process and the application of problem-based learning can create and improve student academic achievement. The research suggests that school management should continue facilitating and encouraging teachers and students to optimize a learning culture oriented toward technology and digitalization. Teachers are also encouraged to maintain their performance in realizing learning oriented towards problem-based learning to improve students' academic achievement.

Abstract

This research aims to describe how program planning, implementation processes and supervision are applied in madrasah. The method used is a qualitative approach, data was collected through observation, interviews and document analysis. Research subjects include principals, quality development teams, supervisors, committees, teachers and supervisors. Data validation uses data triangulation. Data analysis is carried out through data condensation, data presentation and conclusions. The results of this study revealed that programme planning begins at the beginning of the year with a joint meeting between the principal, teaching team and other stakeholders. In the meeting, they discuss the formation of the research class, set the curriculum, and detail the programme plan. The programme is organised by assigning teachers who are competent in the field of research, forming an implementation structure, and a quality development unit. Programme implementation went according to plan, focusing on improving students' knowledge, developing a literacy culture, developing writing skills and participating in competitions. One of the main limitations is that programme supervision still needs to be improved. This may hinder effective monitoring and evaluation of the programme's progress. The study has limitations as it only focuses on one variable madrasah. Therefore, the generalisation of the results of this study to other madrasahs may be limited. This study makes a valuable contribution to understanding madrasah improvement practices in student-conducted research, thus providing essential and relevant insights for improving the quality of education in madrasahs.

Abstract

Employee performance not only reflects individual effectiveness, but also contributes directly to the productivity and success of the organization as a whole. In Indonesia, the dynamics of the competitive labor market and technological developments require organizations to adopt innovative and adaptive human resource management strategies to ensure that employee performance remains optimal in the face of rapid change. This study uses a quantitative approach with confirmatory and explanatory strategies. The confirmatory strategy aims to test previously established hypotheses, while the explanatory strategy is used to explain the causal relationship between the variables studied. This approach is appropriate for identifying and analyzing the influence of continuous training management, organizational culture, and digital performance management on employee performance empirically. The results of this study clearly show that continuous training management, organizational culture, and digital performance management have a positive and significant influence on employee performance. The three variables are proven to provide substantial contributions in explaining variations in employee performance, with organizational culture acting as an important mediator in strengthening the influence of continuous training on individual performance in the workplace

Abstract

Mental health, as defined by the World Health Organization (WHO), is a fundamental aspect of overall well-being. The increasing complexity of modern society, coupled with rising levels of competition and stress, significantly impacts individuals’ mental health. The DAP test is a psychological assessment tool that uses human figure drawings to gain insights into an individual’s personality and mental condition. YOLO (You Only Look Once) is a deep learning algorithm based on Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) designed for real-time object detection. This study utilizes a DAP image dataset contributed by adolescents aged 12 to 16 years to develop a model for detecting and classifying objects in DAP images using the YOLOv8 algorithm. Optimal training results were achieved after 150 epochs, yielding a Precision of 0.821, Recall of 0.799, and mAP50 of 0.88. The model evaluation demonstrated an F1-Score of 0.78, indicating a balanced performance between Precision and Recall. Psychological analysis was conducted based on symptoms extracted from the characteristics of DAP images. Mental health conditions were classified according to severity levels consisting of minor, medium, and serious, based on weighted symptomatology derived from DAP image characteristics. The successful development of this model highlights its capability to classify various mental health conditions based on psychological analysis of DAP images. The findings suggest that mental health classification using DAP test images has the potential to support early screening and psychological assessment by providing an innovative and objective approach to identifying psychological indicators.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the influence of intrinsic motivation, adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) in learning, and self-efficacy on the academic achievement of high school students. More understanding is needed regarding the psychological and technological aspects that affect students' ability to learn, along with the digital revolution that is currently taking place in education. Analysis of 100 high school student respondents who completed a survey became the basis for this quantitative study. Multiple linear regression methods were used to analyse data collected through questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability. This study shows that students' academic achievement is positively influenced by intrinsic motivation. Students who use AI technologies such as virtual tutors and adaptive learning applications have better academic results than those who do not. This is one of the positive outcomes of integrating AI into the learning process. Self-efficacy, a mediating variable, strengthens the relationship between intrinsic motivation and academic achievement. This highlights the importance of self-belief in supporting the effectiveness of learning driven by internal motivation. These findings emphasise the importance of developing learning strategies that arouse students' intrinsic motivation, strengthen self-efficacy, and encourage optimal utilisation of AI technology. The implications of this study provide recommendations for schools, educators, and policymakers to integrate innovative approaches that support technology adaptation and student psychological strengthening to improve academic achievement in the digital era.

Abstract

Penampilan fisik yang menarik, membuat penggemar K-POP didominasi oleh remaja perempuan yang sangat memperdulikan penampilan fisiknya, generasi Z merupakan generasi yang aktif dalam penggunaan internet. Perhatian yang difokuskan pada penampilan disertai penggunaan internet secara terus menerus membuat remaja perempuan generasi Z penggemar K-POP mudah menginternalisasi standar kecantikan Korea, sehingga rentan akan citra tubuh negatif. Seiring perkembangan, remaja mulai melakukan refleksi terhadap dirinya dan kemudian membentuk pikiran, perasaan serta evaluasi terhadap diri yang disebut konsep diri. Konsep Diri yang positif berperan penting dalam pembentukkan Citra Tubuh positif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara Konsep Diri dan Citra Tubuh pada Remaja Perempuan Generasi Z penggemar K-POP. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif, dengan sampel penelitian remaja perempuan, berusia 14-21 tahun, lahir pada tahun 2000- 2008, dan merupakan penggemar K-POP dengan jumlah 250 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan nonprobability sampling. Pengambilan data menggunakan skala Citra Tubuh dan skala Konsep Diri dengan teknik Likert. Hasil analisis data menggunakan korelasi One Tailed Bivariate Pearson Product- Moment menunjukkan terdapat hubungan positif yang sangat signifikan antara Konsep Diri dan Citra Tubuh pada remaja perempuan generasi Z Penggemar K- POP (p=0,0000,01). Dengan nilai koefisien korelasi (r=0,642). Sehingga semakin tinggi konsep diri maka semakin tinggi Citra Tubuh dan semakin rendah Konsep Diri maka semakin rendah cira tubuh.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji seberapa kreatif siswa memecahkan masalah yang berkaitan dengan IQ mereka. Metodologi penelitian kuantitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Siswa merupakan populasi penelitian. Purposive sampling digunakan dalam penelitian ini, dan total 100 siswa dilibatkan. Dalam penelitian ini statistik deskriptif digunakan untuk menguji data yang dikumpulkan dari instrumen tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah kreatif siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah kreatif berada dalam kategori sedang, artinya sebagian besar siswa dapat mengidentifikasi informasi yang paling relevan dengan solusi masalah yang ingin dipecahkannya, mengklasifikasikan masalah dan menghubungkannya dengan informasi yang ditemukan, mengidentifikasi berbagai ide yang dapat menjadi solusi dari masalah yang ingin dipecahkan, dan memilih berbagai solusi yang mempunyai potensi terbesar dalam menyelesaikan masalah. Kemampuan pemecahan masalah kreatif siswa masuk dalam kategori tinggi. Jadi berdasarkan hasil analisis tes ANOVA, kecerdasan intelektual (IQ) siswa berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan kreatif pemecahan masalah pada materi pembelajaran.

Abstract

Effective laboratory management can be applied as an effort to improve science education management in secondary schools. This study aims to explore effective laboratory management as an effort to improve science education management at MA Citra Cendekia South Jakarta. The research method used was a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through direct observation, in-depth interviews with teachers and laboratory staff, and analysis of related documents. The results showed that effective laboratory management involves several important aspects, namely careful planning, procurement and maintenance of adequate laboratory equipment, and competency development of teachers and laboratory technicians. In addition, collaboration between science teachers and laboratory staff in designing and conducting experiments also contributes significantly to improving the quality of science learning. The implementation of good laboratory management at MA Citra Cendekia South Jakarta is proven to be able to increase student learning motivation, improve understanding of science concepts, and produce more interactive and contextualised learning. This study concludes that effective laboratory management is one of the key factors in improving the quality of science education in Islamic educational institutions.
