Abstract

Purpose: direct significance test of institutional and managerial ownership and independent board of commissioners on company performance. Method: through a quantitative approach with a population of 70 companies JII70 in 2021-2023, data was determined based on purposive sampling of 144 data processed, analyzed by regression. Results: Institutional ownership and independent board of commissioners proved to be significant in the same direction in growing company performance, but managerial ownership had no impact or contradicted agency theory. Future research: adding other determinants of company performance from both micro and macro perspectives.

Abstract

The essential material is needed in Sociology learning to give the students an effective learning experience particularly in digitalization era. The suitability of essential material provided based on digital natives character increases social concern and interacting ability among the people. This research aims to analyze the appropriate essential material in Sociology learning subject matter needed by digital natives and teacher’s strategy in implementing. Qualitative research using observation and in-depth interview with 8 Sociology teachers as the technique collecting data is the research method used in this research. Data analysis was also used including the following stages: data collection, data reduction, data display, verification and conclusion drawing. The findings of research based urgency (U), relevance (R) and function (F) reveal essential material for digital natives consisting of social interaction and social dynamic, deviating behavior, social conflict, social change, local wisdom, and social research. Teachers’ strategy in implementing is through raise material and case example relevant to social life of students. The characteristics of digital natives adapted by teachers in Sociology essential material are digital literacy, multitasking, learning experience, collaboration, social, and purpose-oriented focusing not only on competency but also attitude and behavior in digitalization era. Overall, the adaptation of essential material in sociology subject exerts positive impact on motivation, competency, attitude, and behavior of students in utilizing digital technology and positioning themselves in social environment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk menguji pengaruh profitabilitas, struktur aset dan ukuran perusahaan terhadap struktur modal pada industri manufaktur yang terdaftar di BEI. Variabel profitabilitas diproksikan dengan return on assets, struktur aset dengan tangibility assets, ukuran perusahaan diukur dengan Ln total assets, dan struktur modal diukur dengan debt to equity ratio. Periode penelitian dilakukan tahun 2017-2021, dengan jumlah populasi sebanyak 179 perusahaan. Metode sampling dilakukan dengan menggunakan purposive sampling diperoleh jumlah sampel 74 perusahaan, pengujian dengan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa return on assets dan Ln_total assets tidak berpengaruh terhadap debt to equity ratio, sedangkan tangibility assets berpengaruh positip dan signifikan terhadap debt to equity ratio.

Abstract

Tingginya angka pertumbuhan penduduk tiap tahunnya mempengaruhi kesejahteraan ekonomi masyarakat dalam memenuhi kebutuhan hidup seperti permintaan produksi akan kebutuhan pangan. Salah satu upaya dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan ekonomi khususnya pada masyarakat di perkampungan dapat dilakukan melalui program pemberdayaan masyarakat yang berfokus pada aspek metode dan program. Selain itu, terdapat peran modal sosial yang membangun masyarakat untuk mengoptimalkan keberhasilan dari program yang dijalankan.  Modal sosial menjadi penggerak membangun ekonomi mandiri melalui program pemberdayaan masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini menganalis penguatan modal sosial dalam program pemberdayaan masyarakat di Kampung Sayur Organik untuk mencapai keberhasilan masyarakat yang sejahtera dalam perekonomian melalui pengelolaan lahan pekarangan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus untuk mengetahui bagaimana suatu peristiwa diinterpretasikan dengan menyelidiki permasalahan melalui metode dan sumber informasi. Hasil penelitian ini adanya kerjasama yang kuat dan jaringan yang telah terjalin antar masyarakat didasarkan pada hubungan rasa saling percaya. Kepercayaan menjadi faktor utama dalam menciptakan modal sosial yang menghasilkan kemudahan antar anggota masyarakat mencapai kesejahteraan ekonomi melalui program pemberdayaan di Kampung Sayur Organik.

Abstract

This study examines three main focuses, namely the nature and importance of multicultural education, the relationship between history learning and multicultural education, and the applicative strategy of multicultural education through history learning. This study uses a qualitative descriptive-analytical method. The data collection technique uses literature studies by utilizing various sources such as journals, books, magazines, and credible and relevant articles. This study uses a structural functional sociology approach and history as a framework for thinking as well as an analytical tool. The results of the study show that multicultural education is education that forms and fosters an egalitarian, appreciative, and tolerant culture amidst many differences and diversity. By exploring various examples of multiculturalism and multiculturalism crises in the past, students can use it as reflection material to knit, cultivate, and maintain diversity, nationalism, national identity, and character formation. The applicative strategy of multicultural education in history learning is carried out through the selection of strategic materials, design of models, methods, and learning approaches that train students to maintain unity, respect each other, and appreciate each other amidst many differences. With this research, it is expected to be a consideration for history teachers in developing paradigms, content and multicultural learning designs. In addition, it also becomes a constructive reference material for educational policy makers at the educational unit level (school) and at the central level.

Abstract

Implementasi penghapusan Ujian Nasional dalam kurikulum Merdeka Belajar memunculkan pro dan kontra di kalangan pendidik pada umumnya. Meskipun terdapat hal-hal kontra dalam penerapannya, akan tetapi implementasi penghapusan Ujian Nasional menjadi Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum (AKM) memiliki cita-cita berkaitan dengan pemberian kemerdekaan dan kebebasan kepada guru dan sekolah dalam mengelola evaluasi yang dilaksanakan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah ingin mengetahui bagaimana implementasi Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum (AKM) di salah satu sekolah Kota Surakarta dengan perspektif Paulo Freire. Melalui metode penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengambilan data berupa wawancara mendalam dan observasi, diperoleh data bahwa implementasi selama ini menghasilkan pandangan pro dan kontra di kalangan akademik. Penulisan artikel ini akan lebih banyak membahas mengenai hal-hal yang pro pada implementasi Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum (AKM) di sekolah. Jika selama ini evaluasi pendidikan hanya ditentukan oleh Ujian Nasional dengan beberapa mata Pelajaran saja, penghapusan ini harapannya akan memberikan sisi humanis dimana kemampuan anak sejatinya tidak hanya dalam kognitif saja tetapi ada aspek lain yakni afektif dan psikomotorik. Sejalan dengan perspektif Paulo Freire yang menyampaikan bahwa pembelajaran di kelas bukan sekedar mendengarkan, tapi berdiskusi. Memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa untuk mengajar di kelas. Pertimbangkan sebuah proyek sosial yang melibatkan seluruh kelas. Pemikiran Freire tentang refleksi dan tindakan sejalan dengan arah konseptual pendidikan yang digagas pemerintah saat ini, bahwa guru dan siswa perlu terlibat dalam proses refleksi selama pembelajaran.

Abstract

Identification is something that is very mandatory for the front guard in processing crime scenes at the Central Java Regional Police Investigation, especially in making a police record certificate (SKCK). This identification is known as INAFIS (Indonesia Automatic Finger Print Identification System). The duties of employees in the INAFIS unit require high levels of foresight and accuracy. Therefore, employee job satisfaction in the INAFIS unit needs to be considered. This research aims to analyze the influence of teamwork, career development and service on employee job satisfaction at the INAFIS unit of the Central Java Regional Police with Organizational Commitment as an intervening variable. This research analysis uses a quantitative data analysis technique using a questionnaire to collect the required primary data through a questionnaire method. The sample in this study was 148 which was obtained through the proportional simple sampling method, where all populations have the same opportunity to be selected as samples. The analysis used to process the data is multiple regression analysis using SPSS software. The results of this research show that only career development and service have a significant effect on the level of organizational commitment. Teamwork, career development and service have a significant effect on the level of job satisfaction, while organizational commitment does not significantly influence job satisfaction. The findings in this study reveal that organizational commitment mediates the effect of service on job satisfaction.

Abstract

The study aims to explore the strategies used by teachers in responding to students from the digital native generation in the implementation of the P5 program in schools. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The data collection techniques in this research utilize interviews and observations. The research was conducted at SMA Batik 1 Surakarta, one of the schools implementing a technology and digitalization-based P5 program. Data analysis in this study uses the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings of this study show that teachers have strategies such as providing flexibility in accessing technology but still require direct supervision from the teachers. In addition, teachers also provide opportunities for students to present their work through exhibitions of their creations, so students must understand their work and refrain from dishonesty in the use of technology.
