Abstract

This research is a correlation quantitative research with a sample of 62 employees at PT. Pelindo Jasa Maritim Makassar. The employees were obtained using a simple random sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis was carried out with a description of the research data prerequisite test analysis, and hypothesis testing. The result showed that; (1) there is a positive significant relationship between work motivation and work effectiveness at PT Pelindo Jasa Maritim Makassar. This has been proven using the calculation of Pearson Product Moment. It was found that the correlation coefficient, a value of 0,406 is obtained. The level of the coefficient interval which is in the range of 0,400 – 0,599 shows a strong enough correlation level, (2) there is a positive significant relationship between interpersonal communication and work effectiveness at PT Pelindo Jasa Maritim, it was found that the correlation coefficient, a value of 0,671 is obtained and the level of the coefficient interval which is in the range of 0,600 – 0,799 shows a strong correlation level.

Abstract

Keselamatan pasien adalah sebuah sistem dimana rumah sakit menyediakan layanan yang lebih aman bagi pasien. Implementasi keselamatan pasien di rumah sakit bertujuan untuk menjamin keamanan dan keselamatan selama pemberian layanan. Insiden keselamatan pasien yang melibatkan mahasiswa keperawatan dapat terjadi dalam berbagai situasi. Untuk mengurangi risiko insiden yang dapat membahayakan pasien maupun mahasiswa, diperlukan dukungan dari berbagai aspek dalam mendukung mahasiswa menerapkan keselamatan pasien. Sikap mahasiswa keperawatan menjadi salah satu faktor kunci dalam pelaksanaan keselamatan pasien. Namun, masih terdapat kesenjangan dalam beberapa aspek pelaksanaannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara sikap dan kepatuhan mahasiswa keperawatan tingkat sarjana dalam penerapan keselamatan pasien. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif analitik dan metode cross-sectional pada 121 mahasiswa semester 7. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji korelasi Spearman Rank. Mayoritas responden menunjukkan sikap positif (52,1%) dan kepatuhan dalam penerapan keselamatan pasien (53,7%). Hasil analisis bivariat mengungkapkan adanya hubungan signifikan antara sikap dan penerapan keselamatan pasien (P = 0,001; koefisien korelasi = 0,289). Hubungan ini bersifat positif dengan kekuatan cukup, di mana sikap yang lebih positif cenderung meningkatkan tingkat kepatuhan mahasiswa dalam menerapkan keselamatan pasien

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of picture-assisted storytelling method on the speaking skills of third grade students of SDN 1 Sakra Selatan. This type of research is experimental research, with a Quasi-Experimental Design type of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study were all third-grade students of SDN 1 Sakra Selatan. Sampling was carried out using the Census/ Total Sampling technique. Data collection methods in this study used observation sheets and performance test. Observation sheets are used to determine the implementation of learning with the storytelling method assisted by picture media, while performance tests are used to assess student’s speaking skills. Based on the results of the Independent Sample T-Test, the significance value or Sig (2-tailed) is 0,002, which means it is less than 0,05. This shows that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, so it can be concluded that there is an influence of the picture-assisted storytelling method on the speaking skills of the third-grade students of SDN 1 Sakra Selatan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the procedures for implementing inheritance dispute resolution through mediation in Dombo Village, Sayung District, Demak Regency, to find out the role of community leaders in Dombo Village, Sayung District, Demak Regency in resolving self-help-based inheritance disputes. In this study, a qualitative research method is used, with the problem approach used is a socio-legal juridical approach (socio legal research), which is an approach to problems through legal research by looking at applicable legal norms and connecting with facts that exist in society in relation to the problems encountered in the research. Meanwhile, the data collection methods used in this study are interviews, documentation, and data analysis. The result of this research is that the settlement of inheritance disputes is resolved by Sulh, namely the settlement of disputes peacefully. The results of the dispute stated that in resolving family problems between the parties to the dispute, community leaders act as mediators or mediators who are neutral and better understand Islamic inheritance law and emphasize religious values about the importance of communication and deliberation in a conflict that occurs to prevent even greater conflicts.

Abstract

Jasser Auda's thoughts began with a criticism of Usul Fiqh, namely first, Usul al-Fiqh seems textual and ignores the purpose of the text, second,. The classification of some of al-Fiqh's theories is accompanied by binary logic and dichotomies, third. The analysis of al-fiqh proposals is reductionist and atomistic, in addition to Jasser Auda also criticizes classical maqasid which is trapped in the benefit of the individual so that it is unable to answer the problems of the world that occurs, so Jasser Auda expands the scope and dimensions of classical maqasid theory in order to answer the challenges of the current era. Jasser Auda made systems theory an approach in Islamic law, and built a set of categories using 6 system features, namely cognitive nature, interrelated, wholeness, openness, multi-dimensionality and purposefulness.

Abstract

Information security is a critical aspect of ensuring the validity, integrity, and availability of data while protecting users’ access to services. Inadequate security measures can expose systems to various threats, potentially compromising their functionality. One such threat is SQL Injection, a common attack vector targeting web applications. MAN 2 Magetan, an Islamic high school located in Purwosari, Magetan Regency, East Java, Indonesia, operates an online admission system on its website. However, this website contains input fields that are not properly validated, creating a vulnerability to SQL Injection attacks. This study aims to design and implement an Intrusion Detection and Prevention System (IDPS) to mitigate SQL Injection attacks using the Security Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology. The SDLC process for the system development consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Implementation, Enforcement, and Enhancement. A hybrid system combining Intrusion Detection System (IDS) and Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) was utilized to create an effective solution. The results of the research demonstrate that the developed IDPS successfully detects and prevents SQL Injection attacks, ensuring the security and integrity of the online admission system. The integration of IDS and IPS within the SDLC framework has proven to be an effective approach to enhancing web application security at MAN 2 Magetan.

Abstract

This study explores the students’ perceptions of using podcasts to improve their English-speaking skills at Business English Communication program. The study is motivated by the growing integration of technology in education, particularly in language learning, where podcast offer a flexible and engaging medium. Using a qualitative approach, the research investigated how students perceive the effectiveness, interest, and relevance of podcasts in enhancing their speaking abilities. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and analyzed to understand the perceived benefits and challenges. The findings indicate that students generally view podcasts positively, appreciating their convenience and the opportunity to hear authentic English. However, some challenges, such as accessibility and the need for self-discipline, were noted. The study contributes to the theoretical understanding of media-based learning and provides practical insights for educators and curriculum developers aiming to incorporate digital media into language instruction effectively.

Abstract

Current research indicates the presence of highly skilled and motivated students with robust computational thinking backgrounds seeking opportunities to leverage their expertise in driving innovation and success in this era. These studies also reveal that students' computational thinking skills vary widely depending on educational resources, curriculum emphasis, and individual aptitude. Nonetheless, there is a growing recognition of the importance of fostering these skills, with efforts underway to integrate them more comprehensively into education systems worldwide, including in Indonesia and Japan, as representatives of developing and developed countries. Therefore, assessing the competency of computational thinking in these two countries would be intriguing. The descriptive qualitative research method was employed to delineate the computational thinking competencies of students in Indonesia and Japan. Student worksheets, specifically designed for this purpose, were utilized to gauge the development of these competencies during the learning process using the Scratch application. The results revealed that students employed various strategies in solving the given geometry problems. On the other hand, geometry is one of the mathematics topics that can identify students' computational thinking using this application. These findings were utilized to categorize students' computational thinking skills in the two countries and to identify potential obstacles students experienced in their efforts to enhance these skills. Nevertheless, these constraints offer significant insights into potential areas for future investigation and enhancement. Subsequent endeavors could prioritize conducting experiments by implementing specific learning approaches or methods that have demonstrated effectiveness in improving students' computational thinking skills. This study not only underscores the potential for expanding research on students' computational thinking skills but also provides an overview of the learning process, learning culture, and students' competence in solving geometry problems with tiered difficulty levels using their computational thinking skills.

Abstract

This study investigates the emergence of pragmatic competence in early childhood through the analysis of speech acts performed by two children aged 2 years and 3 months (Child 1) and 2 years and 5 months (Child 2). Through the lens of Austin’s and Searle’s speech act theory, the qualitative study focuses on spontaneous utterances that are collected during natural interactions, such as play and daily routines. The findings reveal that even at a very young age, children are capable of performing various speech acts, including asserting, requesting, refusing, and expressing ownership which indicate their growing ability to use language intentionally and effectively. The analysis highlights the presence of locutionary, illocutionary, and perlocutionary acts in the children’s speech, promoting the view that pragmatic competence begins to develop well before formal schooling. These results contribute to a deeper understanding of early language development and provide insight into the cognitive and communicative abilities of young children.

Abstract

Stroke merupakan salah satu permasalahan kesehatan global yang serius, menjadi penyebab utama kematian dan kecacatan di berbagai negara. Stroke non-hemoragik, yang terjadi akibat penyumbatan pada pembuluh darah otak, merupakan tipe stroke yang paling sering dijumpai. Kondisi ini dapat menyebabkan berbagai gangguan neurologis, termasuk kelemahan otot dan penurunan kemampuan mobilitas yang berdampak pada penurunan kualitas hidup pasien. Penanganan pasca-stroke sangat penting, khususnya dalam fase rehabilitasi untuk mencegah komplikasi lebih lanjut. Salah satu intervensi yang umum digunakan adalah latihan Range of Motion (ROM) pasif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh latihan ROM pasif terhadap peningkatan kekuatan otot pada pasien stroke non-hemoragik melalui studi literatur. Metode yang digunakan meliputi penelusuran artikel ilmiah dari database seperti Google Scholar dan PubMed, dengan kriteria artikel yang diterbitkan antara tahun 2021 hingga 2025. Dari total 20 artikel yang ditemukan, sebanyak 12 artikel memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan dianalisis lebih lanjut. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa latihan ROM pasif memiliki efek positif yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan kekuatan otot pasien stroke, meskipun efektivitasnya dapat bervariasi tergantung pada durasi pelaksanaan, frekuensi, dan kondisi klinis masing-masing pasien. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa latihan ROM pasif dapat menjadi bagian penting dalam program rehabilitasi stroke sebagai intervensi non-farmakologis yang efektif. Diharapkan, hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan landasan ilmiah bagi tenaga kesehatan dalam menyusun strategi rehabilitasi yang optimal guna meningkatkan mobilitas dan kualitas hidup pasien stroke non-hemoragik.
