Abstract

Program life skill menjadi salah satu program pendidikan nonformal yang diselenggarakan sebagai upaya peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yakni untuk mendeskripsikan pengelolaan program life skill menjahit tingkat dasar dalam meningkatkan kompetensi warga belajar di SKB Sidoarjo . Pada penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini yakni: 1) Kepala SKB Sidoarjo, 2) Koordinator Staf Pembelajaran, 3) Instruktur program, 4) Warga belajar yang mengikuti program menjahit tingkat dasar. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini: pengelolaan program life skill menjahit tingkat dasar di SKB Sidoarjo dijalankan sesuai dengan fungsi pengelolaan yakni dari tahap perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, pengawasan dan evaluasi sehingga pengelolaan dapat berjalan dengan efektif. Faktor pendukung pengelolaan program yakni antusias warga belajar serta pembiayaan dari pemerintah daerah. Faktor penghambat yakni terdapat warga belajar yang hadir tidak tepat waktu dan keterbatasan fasilitas warga belajar di rumah untuk mengerjakan penugasan. Adanya program tersebut dapat membantu warga belajar mendapatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam menjahit serta membantu dalam perubahan sikap menjadi lebih bertanggung jawab, percaya diri, dan bernai mengambil resiko.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengkaji dan mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan Pelatihan Tata Kecantikan Wajah Program MUA yang dapat mengarahkan masyarakat perempuan dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, sikap, dan perilaku yang sesuai dengan bidang pekerjaan sebagai upaya peningkatan pendapatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara mendalam, observasi terstruktur, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu ketua UPTD-SPNF-SKB Sidoarjo, pelatih tata kecantikan wajah, dan peserta. Analisis data menggunakan Teknik analisis data Miles dan Huberman. Uji keabsahan data dalam penelitian ini meliputi: uji credibility, uji transferability, uji dependability, dan uji confirmability. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, 1) Pelatihan Tata Kecantikan Wajah Program MUA berlangsung dengan baik dan lancar, 2) Faktor pendukung Pelatihan Tata Kecantikan Wajah Program MUA meliputi; minat peserta yang tinggi, pelatihan mengenai tata kecantikan tidak pernah musnah, dan masyarakat dapat mengaplikasikan riasan wajah dengan memanfaatkan alat dan bahan makeup untuk dapat dijadikan sebagai pekerjaan merias wajah sehingga mampu meningkatkan pendapatan, dan, 3) Faktor penghambat pelatihan ini yaitu pelatihan dilaksanakan dengan waktu yang lama dengan tahapan pada saat pandemi.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the application of the seTARA Daring application-based blended learning method and determine the level of interest in learning students of the post-pandemic Package C equivalence program. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a type of field research. Data collection using observation techniques, interviews, field notes and documentation. The data analysis is carried out by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions.The results of the research obtained show that the application of the seTARA Daring application-based blended learning method after the pandemic can create learning activities that are more flexible, effective and efficient in the use of time. The interest in learning students increases as seen from the enthusiasm and activeness in participating in learning. In the process of applying the application-based blended learning method seTARA Daring, there are supporting and inhibiting factors that affect the interest in learning students.

Abstract

This research is motivated by problems regarding learning motivation in students when participating in the senior highschool equivalency program, which indicates a lack of motivation to learn. There are factors that influence learning motivation, one of which is extrinsic factors, namely family social support. The purpose of this study was to determine the significance of the relationship between family social support and students learning motivation in participating in the senior highschool equivalency program at SKB Mojoagung. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational research type. The data collection techniques used in this study were questionnaires and documentation with research respondents as many as 35 students of the senior highschool equivalency program at SKB Mojoagung. While the data analysis technique in this study uses the Product Moment formula to analyze the questionnaire. The results showed that family social support had a positive and significant relationship with the learning motivation of senior highschool equivalency students at SKB Mojoagung, as indicated by r count> r table (0.741>0.334) with a sig value = 0.000 <0.05. So that the higher the value of family social support, the higher the value of learning motivation, or conversely

Abstract

Researchers try to examine whether there is a real influence on the level of independence of children aged 7-9 years in Sruni Village, Sidoarjo Regency based on parenting patterns of working and non-working parents. Researchers hypothesize that parenting and non-working parents have a positive impact on the level of independence of children aged 7-9 years in Sruni Village, Sidoarjo Regency. A causal comparative quantitative approach was used to collect data through questionnaires distributed to relevant respondents via Google Form. The study population consisted of working and non-working parents with children aged 7-9 years in Sruni Village, Sidoarjo District. In this study, the data were sorted with Mircrosoft Excel, and processed with SPSS 22 with T test.The results showed that parenting of non-working parents did not have a positive effect on children's independence, but the results showed that parenting of working parents had a significant and positive effect on shaping children's independence. It is recommended that working parents continue to prioritize quality time to foster the growth and development of their children, while non-working parents must be open-minded towards parenting and education to encourage independence in their children.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the development of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) curriculum in the PIAUD study program in Indonesia. This research adopts a qualitative descriptive approach with a literature review method. The subjects of this research are faculty members and curriculum developers from the PIAUD study programs at State Islamic University of Syekh Nurjati Indonesia, State Institute for Islamic Studies of Kudus, and State Islamic University of Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung. Data collection techniques involve literature study, and data analysis techniques employ data reduction and data identification. The results of the study reveal that the MBKM curriculum is a designed framework that addresses the challenges of the 21st century by emphasizing the freedom and independence to learn various fields of knowledge. The development of the MBKM curriculum consists of five stages: preparation, planning, development, implementation, and evaluation. Its implementation comprises nine key activities such as curriculum adjustment, collaboration with partners, and continuous assessment.

Abstract

Participatory leadership is gaining increasing attention in the educational context, as this leadership style involves the active participation of team members in decision-making and planning, which is essential for creating a productive school climate. This study aims to examine the role and impact of participatory leadership by principals in improving teacher professionalism. Using a qualitative approach through a literature review method, this study collected and analyzed various relevant sources on participatory leadership in education. The results indicate that principals who implement participatory leadership can create an environment that supports teacher professional development. Involving teachers in decision-making, encouraging open communication, and facilitating close collaboration between principals and staff have been shown to improve teacher professionalism. Furthermore, this leadership style provides teachers with space to develop independently, increasing their motivation and engagement in the learning process, and ultimately enhancing the quality of teaching in schools. This study also found that implementing participatory leadership requires a strong commitment from principals in building a collaborative and inclusive school culture. These findings contribute to the development of more effective and relevant education policies, particularly in improving the quality of education through teacher empowerment. Therefore, this study can provide important insights for education policies and the implementation of more adaptive and collaboration-based leadership.

Abstract

This bibliometric study analyzes changes in corpus linguistics research from 2004 to 2024, emphasizing discourse analysis, digital literacy, and educational technology. Despite being the crucial tool for language analysis, corpus linguistics is frequently not taught in teacher preparation programs. Literacy has evolved digitally as a result of the growing prevalence of computers and the internet. Research indicates that educators must improve their technological proficiency. Using an analysis of 128 papers from the Scopus database, this study looks at the gaps in the extensive body of scientific literature on corpus linguistics. Studies indicate that scientific output has increased significantly in recent years, particularly since 2018. Papers are currently the most widely used publication format. The United States excels at assisting and cooperating with other nations. According to the investigation, Robert C. Meurant and Rodney H. Jones were the primary authors and had the highest number of citations and contributions, respectively. Traditional language methods are no longer the main focus of research; instead, an interdisciplinary framework that combines digital technology and education has taken its place. As a result, there is now a close connection between instruction and online and data resources. According to the research, literacy in corpus linguistics is now seen as a skill influenced by contemporary teaching strategies, the accessibility of data, and student engagement in the classroom.

Abstract

Nonformal vocational training is increasingly required to prepare learners not only with technical competence but also with career readiness. However, limited empirical evidence explains how adult-oriented curriculum practices and learners’ self-regulation contribute to career readiness in nonformal vocational training institutions. This study aimed to examine the association between andragogical curriculum orientation, self-regulated learning, and career readiness among learners at LKP Lussy Surabaya. A quantitative ex post facto correlational design was applied using questionnaire data from 65 valid learners. Andragogical curriculum orientation was measured through self-concept, experience, readiness to learn, learning orientation, and learning motivation; self-regulated learning was measured through forethought, performance, and self-reflection; and career readiness was measured through concern, control, curiosity, and confidence. The results showed that andragogical curriculum orientation and self-regulated learning were positively and significantly associated with career readiness, with self-regulated learning emerging as the stronger predictor. Simultaneously, both variables explained 70.7% of the variance in career readiness. These findings indicate that career readiness in nonformal vocational training is shaped by adult-oriented learning experiences and learners’ regulatory capacity. This study provides an empirical basis for rethinking curriculum orientation beyond technical skill delivery toward stronger support for career readiness.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop and validate a nonformal education curriculum for socioeconomic reintegration of divorced former migrant women in Ponorogo, Indonesia. A Design and Development Research approach was applied through three phases: needs analysis (n = 20), curriculum design and development, and expert validation, followed by a limited try-out (n = 12). Data were collected through interviews, focus group discussions, document analysis, competency gap assessment, expert judgment, and field observation. Expert validation showed high feasibility with mean scores for content relevance (M = 4.60), learning outcomes (M = 4.50), gender responsiveness (M = 4.40), and feasibility (M = 4.20). The try-out demonstrated strong implementation outcomes, including participant comprehension (M = 4.25), participation consistency (M = 4.30), and satisfaction (M = 4.35). Findings indicate that economic reintegration and social entrepreneurship competencies are the primary learning needs, with psychosocial strengthening and digital literacy as supporting areas. The study concludes that the developed curriculum is valid, feasible, and practical, and suggests that nonformal education policy should adopt integrated reintegration-oriented curriculum models for vulnerable adult groups.
