Abstract

During the pre-Islamic era, women were considered like goods sold in the market. After Islam came, the position of women began to be equalized with men. Islam teaches that men and women have the same position. Even so, it turns out that in practice this is not the case. In Islamic history until today, even in Islamic countries, the position of men is still higher than women. This research aims to analyze the position of women from the time of the prophet to the era of the Ottoman Turkish dynasty. This research uses historical research methods to examine the topic under study. The result of this research is that gender equality taught by the prophet has not been fully implemented, because there are challenges from the culture and thinking of the community. Women during the time of the prophet until Khulafa al-Rashidun were only limited to the intellectual field (religion). They began to be involved in social and political fields from the Umayyad Dynasty to Ottoman Turkey. The small number of women who appear in history proves that gender equality has not been achieved.

Abstract

Abstract: Result-oriented supervision is a strategic approach that needs to be evaluated for its effectiveness in improving the competence of vocational high school (SMK) students in accordance with industry demands. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the result-oriented supervision model at SMKN 1 Kopang and to analyze its implications for improving student competencies. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, data were collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews with school leaders, teachers, and the supervision team, as well as documentation of teaching practices and student performance results. The research instruments included semi-structured interview guides, observation sheets for the supervision and teaching processes, and a competency achievement analysis format. Data analysis was conducted using a descriptive qualitative technique through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that structured and collaborative result-oriented supervision positively contributed to improving student competencies, especially in vocational programs that received intensive supervision. The implications of this study highlight the importance of strengthening result-based supervision systems in the quality management of vocational education and integrating supervision with outcome-based student evaluations.Abstrak: Supervisi berorientasi hasil merupakan pendekatan strategis yang perlu dievaluasi efektivitasnya dalam meningkatkan capaian kompetensi siswa SMK agar relevan dengan tuntutan dunia kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi implementasi model supervisi berorientasi hasil di SMKN 1 Kopang serta menganalisis implikasinya terhadap peningkatan kompetensi siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, di mana data dikumpulkan melalui observasi kelas, wawancara mendalam dengan kepala sekolah, guru, dan tim supervisi, serta analisis dokumentasi pembelajaran dan hasil evaluasi siswa. Instrumen penelitian meliputi panduan wawancara semi-terstruktur, lembar observasi proses supervisi dan pembelajaran, serta format analisis capaian kompetensi siswa. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa supervisi berorientasi hasil yang dilaksanakan secara terstruktur dan kolaboratif memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan kompetensi siswa, khususnya pada program keahlian yang mendapat pembinaan intensif. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya penguatan sistem supervisi berbasis hasil dalam manajemen mutu pendidikan vokasi, serta perlunya integrasi antara proses supervisi dan evaluasi yang berorientasi pada capaian nyata siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penggunaan sistem administrasi kelas berbasis e-portfolio di SMPN 1 Kota Agung Pusat dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi yang dianalisis dengan teknik triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini efektif dalam meningkatkan efisiensi waktu, transparansi, dan akurasi administrasi kelas. Meskipun terdapat kendala teknis seperti keterbatasan koneksi internet dan adaptasi awal pengguna, manfaat yang diberikan lebih besar dibandingkan hambatan yang ada. Sistem ini membantu guru dalam mengelola data akademik, meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa, serta mempermudah kepala sekolah dalam pemantauan kinerja guru dan siswa. Implementasi optimal memerlukan dukungan infrastruktur, pelatihan pengguna, dan kebijakan sekolah yang mendukung digitalisasi administrasi. Dengan pemanfaatan teknologi yang tepat, sistem administrasi kelas berbasis e-portfolio dapat menjadi solusi inovatif dalam meningkatkan efektivitas pengelolaan pendidikan di era digital.

Abstract

The tradition of the Prophet's birthday is a commemoration of the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), which in Indonesia is celebrated on every 12th of Rabiul Awal in the Hijri calendar. The celebration of the Prophet's birthday is a religious ceremony and a tradition that developed among the Muslim community long after the death of the Prophet Muhammad. Actually, the commemoration of the Prophet's birthday shows gratitude and respect for the Prophet Muhammad. As for the people of Roto Village, Probolinggo Regency, who continue to carry out this tradition. This paper examines the process of implementing the Maulid Nabi and analyzes the social integration that arises with the Maulid Nabi tradition and its impact on the community. This research is a qualitative study and the author collected data in this study using historical research methods. The procedural or flow of the historical research method includes four stages, namely: heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The result of this research is that the Roto Village community continues to carry out hereditary traditions that are different from other regions in celebrating the Prophet's birthday. In general, the celebration of the Prophet's Maulid is only celebrated every 12th of Rabiul Awal ceremonially, but in Roto Village the celebration of the Prophet's Maulid is carried out for a whole month in the month of Maulud by rotating residents' homes in turn. this research can be concluded that social integration arises with the celebration of the Prophet's Maulid which is carried out in this way.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of technology-based remote supervision in improving the quality of teacher training in remote areas. The method used is qualitative with a combination of library research and survey approaches. The research subjects consisted of 60 teachers and principals involved in technology-based supervision. Data were collected through a Likert scale questionnaire to measure respondents' perceptions of the use of technology in educational supervision. The results of the study indicate that remote supervision has advantages in improving accessibility, time and cost efficiency, and more systematic supervision documentation. However, there are challenges such as limited technological infrastructure, variations in teachers' digital skills, and a lack of personal interaction compared to conventional supervision. The survey results showed an average response of 78.19 from teachers and school principals, indicating that the majority of respondents had a positive perception of the implementation of technology-based remote supervision. Therefore, supervision strategies that integrate remote methods need to be developed to optimize the effectiveness of educational supervision and enhance teacher professionalism, especially in areas with limited access.

Abstract

This article aims to explore Islamization in Bekasi from a historical perspective. This article uses the historical method, anthropological approach, and cultural diffusion theory to analyze the issue. Using these methodologies, this research will be narrative-descriptive and analytical-descriptive. This study found that Islamization in Bekasi occurred for the first time when Falatehan occupied Sunda Kelapa and turned into Jayakarta in 1527, which impacted the entry of Islam into Bekasi. However, the massive Islamization process could only be carried out in the 20th century when KH Ma'mun Nawawi and KH Noer Ali played a role in preaching Islam in Bekasi. Both of them were also members of the Betawi ulama network in the 20th century. This study concludes that Islamization in Bekasi has taken a long time because Bekasi differs from Karawang and Jayakarta, both international trade centres, while Bekasi is only a passageway. Regardless, Bekasi remains a significant place for the Nusantara trade route.Keywords:

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of Scout extracurricular activities and the character values contained in Scout extracurricular activities at SMAN 1 Talang Padang. This study intends to find an overview of management strategies especially in scout extracurricular activities. This type of research is descriptive qualitative in examining field phenomena that occur. This research was conducted on principals, vice principals for curriculum, scout coaches, and student activities both in the field and indoors. Data collection is carried out by means of interviews, observation, and documentation.  The results are the application of good management to extracurricular scouts to shape the character is carried out in 4 stages, namely: planning the learning environment, organizing the learning environment, directing the management, and controlling the management of the learning environment. The planning stage includes the recruitment of scout coaches by the principal, time management, financial management, preparation of work programs, and preparation of materials. Organizing is done by giving responsibility to the homeroom teacher to direct students to participate in extracurricular scouts, and giving responsibility to the scout coach. The implementation of activities is carried out once a week. Briefings are made by the principal to the scout leader so that the activity can run well. Controlling is a supervision carried out to find out whether scout activities are running well or not

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the values of religious moderation contained in the Rengganis song from the Sasak community in Lombok. Tembang Rengganis is a part of oral literature that conveys moral and religious messages through the story of Dewi Komalasari and other characters. This research employs a qualitative approach using text analysis methods and in-depth interviews with local cultural figures. The research findings indicate that this song contains values of religious moderation such as honesty, ethics, politeness, and social responsibility, as portrayed by the character Dewi Komalasari, Dewi Rengganis and Repatmaja. In addition, the antagonism displayed by the character Cupak illustrates the consequences of negative traits such as greed and envy. In conclusion, the internalization of the values contained in this song can encourage the strengthening of a moderate religious spirit within the Sasak community, particularly in maintaining social and religious harmony. This research contributes to the understanding of the importance of religious moderation in the context of local traditions.

Abstract

This research examines the Cimareme Incident in Garut as a resistance to Dutch colonialism in the early 20th century. Through qualitative qualitative historical method, this research traces the socio-economic background of the Cimareme of the Cimareme people who were mostly farmers, as well as the oppressive colonial policies such as the obligation to sell rice, which triggered resistance from the Cimareme people led by Haji Hasan Arif. The people of Cimareme, who were mostly farmers, lived under the pressure of colonial economic policies that forced them to sell their crops at disadvantageous prices. This research was conducted through the stages of data collection or heuristics from literature sources, verification of the validity of sources, interpretation of historical facts, and historiography. The results revealed that the Cimareme Incident was not only a resistance to colonial policies that harmed farmers, but also showed the strong spirit of nationalism among the Garut people. This resistance showed how religious figures, especially Haji Hasan Arif, played an important role in mobilizing the people to uphold justice and fight against colonial exploitation. Although this resistance was followed by the arrest and suppression of Kyai, Peasants, Santri, and Hajis, this event became an important symbol in the struggle for Indonesian independence. The Cimareme Incident strengthened the collective consciousness of the community to unite against colonialism and showed how religion and nationalism became a driving force in the struggle towards independence.

Abstract

The Effect of Self-Efficacy on Teacher’s Organizational Citizenship Behavior at MTsN 1 Mataram City. Objectives: This study aims to determine the effect of self-efficacy on the Organizational Citizenship Behavior of teachers at MTsN 1 Mataram City. Methods: This research was conducted at MTsN 1 Mataram City teachers as many as 62 people. The sampling technique is popular. The data collection technique used is the distribution of questionnaires. Data analysis using simple linear regression and t-test. Self-efficacy indicators consist of magnitude, generality, and strength. Indicators of Organizational Citizenship Behavior are Altruism, Conscientiousness, Sportsmanship, Courtesy, and Civic Virtue. Findings: The results of the simple regression test showed that the significance value was less than 0.05. The results of the t-test also show that the t-count value of 3.830 is greater than the t-count value of 1.685. Conclusion: This indicates that there is a significant influence between self-efficacy and the Organizational Citizenship Behavior of teachers at MTsN 1 Mataram City. Keywords: self-efficacy, organizational citizenship behavior.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v12.i3.202227
