Abstract

Personal Computer (PC) tidak lagi menjadi barang asing di masyarakat.Di lingkungan kampus PC menjadi kehutuhan bagi dosen karena PC memherisumbangan yang berarti dalam menyelesaikan tugas-tugas sebagai dosen.Sebagai peralatan canggih PC digunakan. untuk meningkatkan efisiensi danefektivitas suatu jenis pekerjaan. Berhadapan dengan PC yang menggi.makanVideo Display Unit (VDU) dalam waktu relatif lama ternyata mengakibatkankeluhan-keluhan seperti: ketegangan otot mata, rasa pegal pada lehec danbahu. Keluhan-keluhan seperti ketegangan otot mata, rasa pegal pada leherdan bahu harus dihindari sebelum gejala-gejala yang lebih serius seperti kata rakmata terjadi. Dengan menempatkan PC ,pada tempat kerja (meja ciankursi). Jingkungan kerja yang memenuhi ~yarat. keluhan-keluhan di atas dapatdicegah.

Abstract

The 21st century becomes a new challenge for productive teachers in developing their competency. One of the methods for developing their competency is conducting a continuous professional development program. This study was aimed at describing the quality of the continuous professional development of Automotive Engineering productive teachers. The type of this study was a survey study which used a descriptive quantitative method. The research subjects were all of the productive teachers of Automotive Engineering in Surakarta city with the total of 76 teachers. In conducting the study, a questionnaire was used as the data collection technique. Data analysis techniques consisted of editing, tabulating, analyzing and interpreting, and concluding. The results showed the quality of the continuous professional development of Automotive Engineering productive teachers in Surakarta city was categorized as low with the percentage of 59.2%. In conclusion, productive teachers of Automotive Engineering in Surakarta city did not actively participate in continuous professional development. The implications of this study showed that the teachers must increase self-awareness to do continuous professional development.

Abstract

The pedagogical and professional competence of vocational teachers is still a fundamental question in the education and learning system. In the 21st century, teachers are required to have high pedagogical and professional competencies. This study aims to analyze the extent of the pedagogical and professional competencies of vocational teachers. This research is a descriptive study using a quantitative approach. A total of 232 vocational teachers became respondents in this study. Data were collected through a questionnaire method with an instrument in the form of a 4 Likert scale questionnaire. The data collected were analyzed using descriptive analysis and inferential t-test which includes one-way ANOVA test and independent-sample t-test. The results showed that the pedagogical competence of vocational teachers was in a low category. Meanwhile, the professional competence of vocational teachers is in the high category, but in some indicators, it is still in the low category. Various retraining is needed to improve the pedagogical competence of vocational teachers; meanwhile, psychological approaches must also be taken to improve the professional competence of vocational teachers.

Abstract

The job market has a strong influence on the preferences of new graduates. One of these phenomena occurred at the Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa Yogyakarta. Although the field occupied in this educational institution is pedagogic science, many graduates from this university are indifferent to the scientific family. This study aims to analyze the effect of work interest in Mechanical Engineering Education (MEE) industrial students on income, attention, willingness, family environment, and community environment. This study uses the ex-post-facto method. This study involved 82 students. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling with a questionnaire to collect data. The results showed that: (1) income expectations, attention, willingness, family environment, and community environment all had a positive and significant effect on interest in working in the industry; (2) income expectations have a positive and significant effect on job interest in the industry; (3) Attention has a positive and significant effect on interest in working in the industry, (4) willingness has a positive and significant effect on interest in working in the industry, (5) family environment has a positive and significant effect on interest in working in the industry, and (6) community environment has an effect positive and significant to work interest in the industry.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal the extent of pedagogical-competence of Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta's students as prospective vocational teachers. It will serve as a measure of their readiness to become vocational teachers. The research method was a quantitative approach with a descriptive method to present the pedagogical-competence profile of the students from each study program. The research population was students from several educational study programs, namely Electronics, Mechanical, and Automotive. Samples of 175 students were taken from each study program's class. The pedagogical competence was evaluated using test questions which instruments have been validated by experts. The result shows that the average competence is 50,24. To breakdown this finding, the averages of pedagogical-competence are 44,71 and 50,60 for students in the 3rd and 5th semester, respectively. The comparison data for the averages of the 3rd to 5th-semester students in each study programs are as follows: Electronics are 54,80 to 46,45; Mechanical are 50, 24 and 54,91; and Automotive are 24,18 to 50,72Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap seberapa jauh kompetensi pedagogik mahasiswa calon guru teknik di Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta sebagai ukuran kesiapan mereka untuk menjadi guru kejuruan. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantatif dengen metode deskriptif untuk menunjukkan profil kompetensi pedagogi dari mahasiswa dari masing-masing program studi. Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa Prodi PT. Elektronika, PT. Mesin, dan PT. Otomotif. Sampel diambil masing-masing prodi satu kelas yang berjumlah 175 mahasiswa. Kompetensi pedagogik diukur melalui tes dengan instrumen soal yang telah divalidasi oleh ahli. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rerata 50,24. Secara rinci rerata mahasiswa semester 3: 44, 71 dan semester 5: 50,60. Prodi Elektronika rerata kompetensi pedagogi mahasiswa semester 3: 54,80 dan semester 5: 46,45; Mahasiswa Prodi PT Mesin, rerata skor semester 3: 50, 24 dan semester 5: 54,91; Mahasiswa Prodi PT Otomotif semester 3: 24,18 dan Semester 5: 50,72

Abstract

Vocational education is characterized by practical learning. During online learning in the Covid-19 outbreak, students' practice learning outcomes have decreased significantly. This study evaluates the implementation of online practical learning in Vocational High Schools (VHS) for technical competencies of Light Automotive Engineering in terms of Context, Input, Process, and Product (CIPP). This study was conducted at a Vocational High School, SMKN 1 Simpangkatis, Central Bangka Regency. The research subjects were the principal, vice-principal, 5 productive teachers, and 191 students in the department of Light Automotive Engineering. This evaluation research used the CIPP method. Data were collected through questionnaires supported with interviews and documentation. The findings indicated that (1) the implementation of online practical learning for context and input components is included in the medium category and (2) the process and product components are categorized as low.

Abstract

Kesenian wayang adalah sebuah budaya nusantara dan sekaligus kesenian budaya dunia mendapat pengakuan UNESCO menetapkan wayang sebagai world herritage pada tanggal 7 November 2003. Namun seiring dengan perkembangan zaman wayang sebagai budaya lokal sekarang mulai ditinggalkan oleh generasi di era industry 4.0 yang lebih gandrung dengan budaya massa sekarang. Augmented reality (AR) adalah pengalaman interaktif dapat mengaitkan dunia nyata dan konten yang dihasilkan, sehingga konten dapat menjangkau beberapa modalitas sensorik, termasuk visual, pendengaran, haptik, dan somatosensory. Teknologi AR bersifat interaktif dan real time oleh karena itu teknologi AR banyak diimplementasikan di berbagai sektor dan bidang salah satunya pada Filter. Penggunaan Teknologi AR didukung oleh platform media sosial seperti snapchat yang menyediakan AR pada fitur filter-nya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mengembangkan sebuah filter snapchat AR dengan tool lens studio untuk memperkenalkan wayang sebagai budaya seni sehingga dapat melestarikan warisan dunia. Inovasi dan kreasi AR melalui media massa sangat dibutuhkan agar budaya kesenian wayang tidak punah dan ditinggalkan. Metode yang digunakan dalam Markerless Tracking wajah. Sedangkan perancangan AR filter ini menggunakan pengembangan design thinking yaitu mulai dari Empati, mencari, ide, prototie dan tes. Hasil pada penelitian ini yaitu berhasil menerapkan teknologi AR untuk edukasi wayang dan 83% responden mengatakan sangat baik.

Abstract

Ancient animals are animals that existed in the past and are now extinct, the remains of which are bones called fossils. The introduction of ancient animals so far still uses books that seem boring in the form of pictures, two dimensions, paintings and other props. This is felt to be less effective, it seems not interactive, it only looks at one side, so it needs education that is more interesting, fun and looks real. This research aims to introduce interactive, interesting, innovative ancient animals that are expected to be able to provide an easy experience in recognizing ancient animals that lived in prehistoric times into more real-time characters. The methodology in its development uses the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) the steps consist of concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, distribution. The results of this study succeeded in displaying 3-dimensional objects in the form of ancient animals as interactive, interesting, innovative, practical, valid, effective ancient animal recognition media. The test results on several versions of Android in the form of image objects have a high degree of accuracy.Keywords: Augmented Reality Technology; Ancient Animals; Marker Based Tracking AbstrakHewan purbakala merupakan hewan yang sudah ada masa lampau dan sekarang sudah punah peninggalannya berupa tulang yang disebut fosil. Pengenalan hewan purbakala selama ini masih menggunakan buku terkesan membosankan berbentuk gambar, dua dimensi, lukisan dan alat peraga lain, Hal ini dirasa kurang efektif terkesan tidak interaktif hanya dilihat pada suatu sisi saja, sehingga perlu edukasi yang lebih menarik, menyenangkan, dan terlihat seperti nyata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan hewan purba yang interaktif, menarik, inovatif diharapkan mampu memberikan pengalaman kemudahan dalam mengenali hewan purba yang hidup pada zaman prasejarah kedalam karakter yang real time lebih nyata. Metodologi dalam pengembangannya menggunakan Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) langkah-langkahnya terdiri dari concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, distribution. Hasil penelitian ini berhasil menampilkan objek 3 dimensi berupa hewan purba sebagai media pengenalan hewan purba interaktif, menarik, inovatif, efektif dan praktis. Hasil pengujian pada beberapa versi android berupa objek gambar memiliki tingkat keakuratan yang tinggi.Kata Kunci: Teknologi Augmented Reality; Hewan Purba; Marker Based Tracking

Abstract

Transisi pembelajaran dari daring menjadi luring pascapandemi Covid-19 mengungkap permasalahan pada sikap belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi sikap belajar siswa yang terungkap pada masa transisi pembelajaran pada pendidikan vokasional, yang meliputi aspek menerima, menanggapi, menghargai, dan bertanggung jawab. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional . Sejumlah 233 siswa dan 127 guru pada pendidikan vokasional di Indonesia dilibatkan sebagai responden penelitian. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuesioner dengan instrumen angket Likert berskala 4. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan uji paired sample t-test dengan perbandingan antara periode pandemi dengan periode pascapandemi. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan terhadap perubahan sikap pembelajaran pada aspek menerima. Hal ini disebabkan perubahan situasi belajar dan menghargai karena pengaruh perubahan lingkungan belajar di sekolah. Aspek bertanggung jawab tidak menunjukkan perubahan sikap yang signifikan karena membutuhkan waktu yang cukup lama untuk membentuk kembali sikap ini. Aspek menanggapi menunjukkan hasil perbedaan cara pandang antara guru dan siswa karena kurangnya pengawasan pada saat pembelajaran daring berlangsung. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka peneliti dan praktisi pendidikan kejuruan dapat mengambil peran untuk memulihkan dan membentuk kembali sikap belajar, khususnya tanggung jawab dan menanggapi dengan mengembangkan strategi pembelajaran yang efektif.

Abstract

This study aims to find out about the transition of graduates of the Faculty of Engineering YSU to the world of work. This study used the tracer study method with respondents filling out a tracer study questionnaire of 573 graduates. The results found that as many as 95% of graduates of the Faculty of Engineering YSU continued their work. As many as 42% of graduates are looking for a job after graduation with less than 6 months for graduates to get a job, the number of companies applied for before getting the first job is 9.6 companies, the average number of companies that respond to graduates' applications is 53.33% of companies, the average number of companies that invite interviews is 27.33% of companies, the type of work of graduates currently working, namely working in the private sector is 47.96%, 83.982% have the suitability of the field of work with the competence of the field of graduate science education, 95.46% have an education level that is in accordance with current job needs, and the average income of graduates is above Rp. 2,000,000.00. Thus, the average graduate of the Faculty of Engineering YSU is absorbed in the field of employment in accordance with the field of graduate science education well
