Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the development of research, the most productive researchers, research trends and research topics that have not been carried out. The source of the data in this study was obtained from the Google Scholar and Scopus websites. The data collection technique in this study used the Publish or Perish (PoP) application. Data analysis using bibliometric analysis assisted by Vosviewer. The results of bibliometric analysis produce 3 forms of data, namely Network Visualization showing the relationship between research topics, Overlay Visualization showing the renewal of a research and Density Visualization showing the number of research topics carried out. The results showed that the number of publications on technology-based biology learning media in high school in the period 2011-2021 always increased every year. The most productive researcher on technology-based Biology learning media is Ikhsan, J. who produced eight documents, Ichsan, Iz with seven documents. The topics of technology, development and learning are topics that are most often used together in Biology research articles or journals. The research topics that are the least carried out are on learning media in the form of applications, artificial intelligence, Augmented Reality and virtual environments. Key words: Bibliometrics, Media, Technology, Vosviewer   ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perkembangan riset, peneliti paling produktif, tren penelitian dan topik penelitian yang belum dilakukan. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini yaitu diperoleh dari website Google Scholar dan Scopus. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan aplikasi Publish or Perish (PoP). Analisis data dengan menggunakan analisis bibliometrik berbantu Vosviewer. Hasil analisis bibliomterik menghasil 3 bentuk data yaitu Network Visualization menampilkan keterkaitan antar topik penelitian, Overlay Visualization menampilkan keterbaharuan sebuah penelitian dan Density Visualization menampilkan banyaknya topik penelitian yang dilakukan. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa jumlah publikasi tentang media pembelajaran biologi berbasis teknologi di SMA pada rentang waktu tahun 2011-2021 setiap tahunnya selalu mengalami kenaikan. Peneliti paling produktif tentang media pembelajaran Biologi berbasis teknologi adalah Ikhsan, J. menghasilkan delapan dukumen, Ichsan, Iz dengan tujuh dokumen. Topik technology, development dan learning merupakan topik yang  paling sering digunakan secara bersamaan dalam artikel atau jurnal penelitian Biologi. Topik penelitian yang paling sedikit dilakukan adalah tentang media pembelajaran dalam bentuk aplication, artificial intelegence, Augmented Reality dan virtual environment. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the ECIRR learning model and discovery learning on students' critical thinking skills and science process skills in grade VIII for the topic human excretion system at SMP Negeri 5 Sungai Bengkal, Tebo Regency. This study used a quantitative approach, through a quasi-experimental method with a pretest posttest only control design. The sample in this study consisted of 60 students divided into 2 class groups, namely the experimental class and the control class. Data collected using observation sheets, tests, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique was carried out using two-way analysis of variance with the help of the SPSS Version 21 Program. Based on the results of the research obtained after learning with the ECIRR learning model (experimental class) and discovery learning model (control class). Based on the results of the Multivariate Test, it showed that there was a significant effect because the sig value <0.05 (0.000<0.05) it can be concluded that H0 (rejected) and Ha (accepted). The results of the Test of Between Subjects Effects obtained critical thinking skills of 0.001 <0.05, it can be concluded that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted and science process skills were 0.001 <0.05, it could be concluded that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. So it can be concluded that there is a significant influence on the critical thinking skills and science process skills of students who were taught using the ECIRR learning model with students who who were taught using discovery learning models. Key words: ECIRR learning model, discovery learning model, critical thinking skills & students' science process skills Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran ECIRR dan pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan keterampilan proses sains siswa pada materi sistem eksresi manusia kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 5 Sungai Bengkal Kabupaten Tebo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, melalui metode Quasi eksperimental dengan desain pretest posttest only control design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 60 siswa dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi, tes, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan Analisis varians dua arah dengan bantuan Program SPSS Versi 21. Berdasarkan hasil uji Multivariate Test menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan karena nilai sig<0,05 (0,000<0.05) dapat disimpulkan bahwa H0 (tolak) dan Ha (terima). Hasil Test of Between Subjects Effects diperoleh keterampilan berpikir kritis 0,001<0,05 dapat disimpulkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima dan keterampilan proses sains 0,001<0,05 dapat disimpulkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Jadi dapat disimpulkan Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan keterampilan proses sains siswa yang diajarkan menggunakan pembelajaran model ECIRR dengan siswa yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan  pembelajaran model discovery learning. Kata kunci: Model pembelajaran ECIRR, Model pembelajaran discovery learning, kemampuan berpikir kritis & keterampilan proses sains siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to produce critical thinking-based essay items in biology subject matter of environmental change in class X SMA Se-Sungai Bahar, Muaro Jambi Regency. This study uses the RnD research method, with the ADDIE model used as a development model. (1) analysis, (2) design, (3) development, (4) implementation, and (5) evaluation. The types of data in this study are quantitative data and qualitative data. Data collection techniques used essay test sheets, needs analysis, expert validation and practitioner validation. While the data analysis technique was carried out using qualitative analysis to determine the validity of the instrument items based on critical thinking from experts and quantitative analysis which included validity and reliability tests at each stage. Based on the results that 1) the process of developing critical thinking-based essay item products has been carried out properly by following research procedures. 2) The teacher's perception of critical thinking-based essay items has a very good category and is feasible for testing. 3) students' perceptions of critical thinking-based essay questions have a good category and are feasible to try out. 4) the effectiveness of critical thinking-based essay items in biology subject matter of environmental change in obtaining the average pretest score of class X students of SMA Negeri 9 Muaro Muaro Jambi, namely 67.30. While the acquisition of students' posttest scores increased, namely 77.63. Meanwhile, the average pretest score for class X students of SMA Negeri 4 Muaro Muaro Jambi was 56.63. While the acquisition of students' posttest scores increased, namely 70.17. These results indicate that there is a difference in the average value of the critical thinking ability of class X SMA Negeri 9 and X SMA Negeri 4 Jambi before the pretest and after the posttest based on critical thinking items. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk butir soal esay berbasis critical thinking pada mata pelajaran biologi materi perubahan lingkungan di kelas X SMA Negeri Se-Sungai Bahar Kabupaten Muaro Jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan motede penelitaian RnD, dengan model ADDIE digunakan sebagai model pengembangan. (1) analisis, (2) desain, (3) pengembangan, (4) implementasi, dan (5) evaluasi. Jenis data dalam penelitian ini, yaitu data kuantitatif dan data kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar tes essay, analisis kebutuhan, validasi ahli dan validasi praktisi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis kualitatif untuk mengetahui validitas instrumen butir soal berbasis critical thinking dari pakar ahli dan analisis kuantitatif yang mencakup uji validitas dan reliabilitas pada setiap tahapnya. Berdasarkan hasil bahawa 1) proses mengembangkan produk butir soal esay berbasis critical thinking telah dilaksanakan dengan baik dengan memngikuti prosedur penelitian. 2) Persepsi guru terhadap butir soal esay berbasis critical thinking memiliki kategori sangat baik dan layak untuk di uji cobakan. 3) persepsi siswa terhadap butir soal esay berbasis critical thinking memiliki kategori baik dan layak untuk di uji cobakan. 4) efektivitas butir soal esay berbasis critical thinking pada mata pelajaran biologi materi perubahan lingkungan di perolehan rata-rata nilai pretest siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 9 Muaro Muaro Jambi yaitu 67,30. Sedangkan perolehan nilai postest siswa mengalami peningkatan yaitu 77,63. Sedangkan perolehan rata-rata nilai pretest siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 4 Muaro Muaro Jambi yaitu 56,63. Sedangkan perolehan nilai postest siswa mengalami peningkatan yaitu 70,17. Hasil ini menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan nilai rata-rata kemampuan critical thinking siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 9 dan X SMA Negeri 4 Jambi sebelum di dilakukan preetest dan setelah dilakukan posttest butir soal berbasis critical thinking.

Abstract

Anak usia dini harus mampu mengungkap ide-ide kreatifnya, tetapi yang terjadi anak cenderung meniru hasil karya temannya dan tidak percaya diri dengan hasilnya sendiri serta anak masih terpaku pada bantuan guru. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model project based learning terintegrasi ecoprint terhadap kreativitas anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Pertiwi 1 Kota Jambi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain nonequivalent control group desain. Populasi dalam penelitian ini 43 anak. Teknik analisis data dengan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh penerapan Model Project based learning terintegrasi ecoprint terhadap kreativitas anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Pertiwi 1 Kota Jambi. Hasil uji t menunjukkan pengambilan keputusan yaitu t hitung 2,945 dan t tabel yaitu 2,055 yang artinya t hitung > t tabel atau 2,945>2,055 maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima, sehingga disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh model project based learning terintegrasi ecoprint terhadap kreativitas anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Pertiwi 1 Kota Jambi. Penerapan Model Project based learning terintegrasi ecoprint terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kreativitas anak usia 5-6 tahun, ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan kemampuan anak dalam berpikir kreatif dan menghasilkan karya yang inovatif.

Abstract

This research addresses the implementation of effective learning models for developing 21st-century skills, particularly critical and creative thinking abilities. Furthermore, there remains insufficient understanding of how the Challenge-Based Learning (CBL) model contributes to enhancing higher-order thinking skills across diverse educational contexts. This study aims to analyze the impact of implementing the CBL model on fostering critical thinking, creative thinking, and collaborative skills among students. Using a systematic literature review with a descriptive qualitative design, the research examined 33 scientific articles sourced from the Scopus, Google Scholar, and SINTA databases, published between 2010 and 2024. Data collection was conducted with the assistance of the Publish or Perish application and VOSviewer to visualize and analyze data networks. Thematic analysis techniques were employed to identify trends and patterns in the application of the CBL model. The findings indicate that the CBL model effectively enhances higher-order thinking skills, learner engagement, collaboration, and creativity. However, challenges such as limited resources and insufficient institutional support were also identified. In conclusion, while the CBL model significantly promotes the development of critical and creative thinking skills, addressing institutional and resource constraints is essential for maximizing its impact in educational settings.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada masyarakat bertujuan untuk membantu para guru IPA khususnya guru biologi dalam merancang dan membuat alat peraga yang dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran biologi di SMP. Kegiatan ini diawali dari analisis kebutuhan bahwa banyak sekolah yang tidak memiliki fasilitas laboratorium yang memadai yang menunjang proses belajar mengajar, maka alat peraga merupakan salah satu solusi dari permasalahan tersebut. Pelaksanaan kegiatan PPM di Kota Jambi dilakukan di 2 sekolah yaitu SMP N 22 dan SMP N 7 Kota Jambi yang melibatkan MGMP guru-guru IPA sebanyak 30 orang. Sedangkan kegiatan PPM di SMP N 30 Muaro Jambi hanya melibatkan guru-guru IPA dan siswa SMP N 30 serta Guru IPA SMP N 7 Muaro Jambi dengan peserta sebanyak 25 orang. Kegiatan ini diisi dengan materi: Pengenalan tentang pentingnya alat peraga dalam pembelajaran, demonstrasi serta praktek membuat alat peraga. Alat peraga yang dibuat antara lain: sistem Peredaran Darah Manusia, Sistem Eksresi, Sistem Pencernaan, dan Sistem Pernafasan pada Manusia. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh para peserta dengan serius dan sangat antusias serta mendapatkan respon yang baik sekali. Dari kegiatan PPM ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembuatan alat peraga pembelajaran IPA khususnya biologi telah dilaksanakan dengan respon guru-guru yang sangat baik. Selanjutnya disarankan kepada guru-guru IPA untuk dapat menggunakan alat peraga yang telah dibuat dalam pembelajaran dan juga dapat mengembangkan alat-alat peraga IPA pada materi lainnya. Kegiatan PPM ini pada masa yang akan datang dapat juga dilakukan pada sekolah-sekolah sasaran lainnya dengan materi yang sama ataupun berbeda.

Abstract

Currently students are expected to have the ability to solve environmental problems, especially in everyday life, which is known as pro-environmental behavior or actions. One of the strategies in teaching students' problem solving abilities is by learning mini research to solve problems in the surrounding environment, especially in the scope of biology. This study aims to analyze the effect of pro-environmental behavior learning by using a mini research project on problem solving abilities and how much influence it has on students in Senior High School. The research method used is associative quantitative with comparative type. The population in this study were students of ten grade Senior High School in science class and from this population a sample would be taken using simple random sampling technique, with a total sample of 96 students from three classes. This research procedure includes the preparation stage, implementation stage and data analysis stage. The research instruments used were in the form of question sheets and questionnaires. Based on the data obtained, the average score of the highest problem solving value is 74.7 and the lowest is 68.9. Then it can be concluded that there is an influence from the use of learning with a mini research project on problem solving abilities. The implication of this research is that it can be used by teaching staff as a reference in using the integrated mini research learning model of pro environmental behavior to improve students' problem solving abilities.

Abstract

Indonesia's energy needs each year increase in line with economic growth and population. Indonesia still needs to work on achieving its development targets in the energy sector to date. Dependence on fossil energy, especially petroleum, is still high to meet domestic energy consumption. Non-renewable energy reserves such as oil, natural gas, and coal are very worrying because they run low. The urgency in this study is very important because there are rarely studies that compare the Knowledge and Perceptions about the Prospects of Utilizing Biofuel-Based Alternative Energy Sources. This study aims to analyze the effect of knowledge and perceptions about the Prospects of Utilizing Biofuel-Based Alternative Energy Sources. This research method is a mixed method, with the sampling technique in this study being multistage random sampling. The number of respondents as a sample is 100 respondents. The data collection instruments used were in the form of questionnaires, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis in this study is divided into descriptive statistical testing (mean, median, min, and max) and inferential (simple regression). The regression test results show an influence of Knowledge and Perception about the Prospects of Utilizing Biofuel-Based Alternative Energy Sources.

Abstract

This study aims as a teaching and learning activity that utilizes a network or internet connection so that communication is established between teachers and students without direct contact. Problems faced in online learning include: weak signal, the application used is sometimes problematic, and many more problems that will be caused in online learning. The results of the observations made by the researchers did the learning motivation of students in biology subjects was still very low, there were some students who were sometimes not enthusiastic in learning so that the learning outcomes obtained were still limited to the KKM value, this can be seen from the average test scores during learning Biology during the COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of online learning on students' learning motivation and to determine the effect of online learning on students' cognitive learning outcomes. This type of quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The research subjects were students of class XI Science Department at SMA Negeri 3 Tanjung Jabung Timur. The results of this study are (1) on the motion system material in humans, students' learning motivation with online learning falls into the good category on the indicators of material delivery by using links and using different methods and applications; (2) cognitive learning outcomes in online learning during the pandemic are not much different when compared to face-to-face learning. Although in practice there are deficiencies found, but there is no other choice but to optimize online learning, because in current conditions only technology can be a bridge in transferring knowledge from teachers to students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze research trends on the effectiveness of STEM-PjBL learning models in improving students' critical thinking skills through a systematic literature review from 2013 to 2024. The research employs a bibliometric approach and follows the PRISMA framework to select and analyze 32 articles from the Scopus database. The results indicate that the implementation of STEM-PjBL significantly enhances students' critical thinking skills, particularly when integrated with technology and interactive learning tools. The analysis highlights trends in research focus, dominant contributing countries, and the most cited studies. Indonesia emerges as the leading contributor to STEM-PjBL research. Additionally, bibliometric visualizations using VOSviewer reveal key themes, including project-based learning models and their impact on 21st-century skills. The findings contribute to the advancement of science and technology education, offering valuable insights for educators and policymakers to develop more adaptive and effective curricula. Despite its contributions, this study is limited by potential publication bias and the absence of meta-analytical findings.
