Abstract

Sulkam Village is a forest village that still faces challenges in food security and community economic independence. Most residents rely heavily on palm oil and timber, whose prices fluctuate. However, the village boasts two hectares of unused land with the potential for productive use. Therefore, the “Tani Kedelai Ladang Harapan” (Hopeful Field Soybean Farming) program, implemented through community service activities, aims to diversify agricultural businesses and strengthen food security. The goal of this program is to provide the Sulkam Village community with the understanding and skills to utilize unused land through soybean cultivation and processing into value-added tempeh. The program’s methods include outreach, technical cultivation training, hands-on practice in hygienic tempeh production, and simple entrepreneurial mentoring. Results indicate an 80% increase in community skills in understanding soybean cultivation techniques and the tempeh production process. Furthermore, the program has successfully raised community awareness of the importance of agricultural business diversification and the potential for a sustainable economy based on local food. Therefore, the “Tani Kedelai Ladang Harapan” program can be a concrete step in improving the economy of the Sulkam Village community while strengthening the independence of forest villages through a sustainable bioeconomy.

Sibolga City has great potential in the development of integrated island marine tourism, but still faces challenges in attracting an optimal number of tourist visits. This study aims to identify the factors that cause low tourist visits on the integrated island and design an online media-based city branding communication model to increase the number of tourist visits. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with data collection through interviews, observation, and document tracing. The results showed that the development of integrated island marine tourism requires attention to aspects of tourist attraction, facilities, and institutional additional services. This research recommends the use of online media and innovative branding strategies to improve the image of Sibolga marine tourism and increase tourist participation in tourism promotion through social media. Thus, this research contributes to strengthening the tourism potential of Sibolga city and increasing tourist visits to the integrated island.

Through a qualitative descriptive approach, this study highlights that the "Pesona Tapanuli Tengah" application and digital marketing strategy have a positive impact on increasing tourist interest. However, local governments, tourism industry players, and local communities need collaborative efforts to address these challenges. By continuing to improve digital marketing strategies and increasing digital literacy among the community, it is hoped that the tourism potential of Central Tapanuli Regency can be maximized, providing significant economic benefits for the local community.

Abstract

This study investigates the complex relationships between AI Ethics, Privacy Fatigue, Consumer Trust, and Usage Intention within the e-commerce sector in Malang City, Indonesia. As artifical intelligence integration rapidly grows, consumer concerns regarding algorithmic fairness and data exhaustion have become critical determinants of digital behavior and engagement. This research contributes to digital marketing theory by uniquely identifying privacy fatique as an independent psychological barrier that operates outside the traditional trust-adoption paradigm. Using a non-experimental cross-sectional survey design, data were collected from 210 e-commerce users. The conceptual model was evaluated using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Results indicate that AI Ethics significantly and positively influences Consumer Trust, which acts as a pivotal mediator for Usage Intention. Conversely, Privacy Fatigue has a negligible effect on trust but exerts a potent direct negative impact on usage intention, acting as a significant psychological deterrent. These findings support a dual-pathway model where ethical integrity builds necessary trust, while privacy exhaustion triggers user resignation. Practically, e-commerce providers must prioritize transparency and simplify data management interfaces to mitigate fatigue.
