Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of learning and results from HOTS improvement of students after the PBL learning model based on Maduras local wisdom was applied to Physics subjects. Design of this study using pre-experimental with one group Pre-test-posted. The subject of this study there is three classes with one experimental class and two replication classes. The implementation of learning is analyzed from the learning implementation sheet. HOTS enhancement of students is known from the results of the pre-test and post-test analyzed using t-test parametric statistics in pairs, and proceed with calculating the normalized gain value to find out the improve in HOTS learners. The results of the study showed that learning was carried out very well and there is a significant improve in HOTS of students after the PBL learning model based on Madura local wisdom was applied . HOTS improve in students is in the high category with an average the score gain is 0.804. Keywords: Problem Based Learning (PBL), Madura?s local wisdom, Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS)

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelayakan alat praktikum efek fotolistrik. Kelayakan alat praktikum efek fotolistrik dapat dinyatakan layak dapat dinilai dari nilai validitas, kepraktisan, dan keefektifitas alat praktikum efek fotolistrik. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model ADDIE. Hasil uji coba terbatas alat praktikum efek fotolistrik ini dilaksanakan di kelas XII IPA 1 SMA Raden Rahmat Balong Bendo. Berdasarkan analisis data yang diperoleh, nilai validitas alat praktikum efek fotolistrik beserta LKPD pada materi efek fotolistrik mendapatkan nilai validitas yaitu 85,8% dan 78,5% yang termasuk dalam kategori baik. Kepraktisan alat praktikum efek fotolistrik dinilai melalui nilai keterlaksanaan pembelajaran yaitu dengan nilai 3,71 yang termasuk kedalam kategori sangat baik dan nilai angket respon peserta didik yaitu 79,8% yang termasuk dalam kategori baik. Efektifitas alat praktikum efek fotolistrik pada materi efek fotolistrik baik ditinjau dari hasil peningkatan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik mencapai skor rata-rata 0,66 dengan kategori sedang dan peningkatan keterampilan proses sains tersebut meningkat dengan kategori peningkatan signifikan. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa alat praktikum efek fotolistrik layak untuk dipakai dalam meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik SMA kelas XII. Abstract

Abstract This research aims to determine the improvement of students critical thinking skills towards the implementation of physics learning with inquiry models in fluid physics material. This type of research is descriptive-quantitative with pre-experimental design and one group pre-test post-test design. The subjects of this study were students of class XI in academic year 2019/2020 at SMAN 4 Surabaya. The instruments which has been used to collect data were essays test, observation, and questionnaire. Based on the data analysis, the results of improvement students critical thinking skills increased significantly and consistently with more than 50% of the students in all three classes in n-gain high category. The implementation of inquiry learning in all three classes obtained a very good grade in average mode and students responses to the learning model are in good category in all three classes. This is prove that the inquiry model is very effective to be used to improve students critical thinking skills on static fluid physics material. Abstract

In this industrial revolution 4.0 era, professional science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) bachelor must have various skills. One of which is problem-solving skills. The development of problem-solving skills (PSS) is very important in higher education. Students must have PSS that must be improved to become excellent graduates, including physics bachelor candidates. Many physics bachelor candidates lack problem-solving skills. This problem is the basis for developing innovative learning models based online that, by design, can improve the problem-solving skills of physics bachelor candidates in the COVID-19 pandemic. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness ORNE learning model in improving the problem-solving skills of physics bachelor candidates as an alternative to online learning in the COVID-19 pandemic. The research design used a true-experiment with a non-equivalent control group design with 58 physics bachelor candidates. Data collected using the problem-solving skills test and then analyzed using the Paired Sample Test, Effect Size, N-gain, and Independent Sample Test. The results showed that the ORNE learning model proved effective in improving physics bachelor candidates' problem-solving skills. This research implies that the ORNE learning model can improve physics bachelor candidates' problem-solving skills as an alternative to online learning in the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This research aims to improve students' critical thinking skills using guided inquiry models that was completed by scientific approach in momentum and impulses subjects. This research used pre-experimental method using one group pre-test and post-test design. The research was conducted at SMAN 3 Sidoarjo using one experimental class research design, namely class X MIA 3. The research variables used in the research were guided inquiry models using scientific approach as a manipulation variable, while the ability to think critically and the achievement learning as a respond variable. This research used homogeneity testing techniques to determine the homogeneity of data, normality test to know the category of normal distribution, t-pair test to compare between pre-test and post-test values, analysis of n-gain to find the improvement of student's critical thinking skills, and quantitative and descriptive technique to describe the implementation of learning using guided inquiry models. This research concluded that learning using guided inquiry models had improved the student's critical thinking skills in high categories and its implementation is very good categories.

Abstract

Pada era revolusi industri 4.0 ini telah berkembang literasi baru dan sangat penting untuk mencegah berita dan konten info bohong (hoax). Masalah terkait konten info yang bersifat hoax tersebut sangatlah berbahaya. Yang menjadi masalah utama bagi mahasiswa adalah untuk mengikuti pelatihan tersebut memerlukan biaya yang tidak sedikit. Pada era pandemi COVID-19 ini, khususnya para mahasiswa mengalami keterbatasan anggaran untuk mengikuti workshop pelatihan tersebut harus membayar. Kota Surabaya, Kabupaten Sidoarjo, dan Kabupaten Gresik mulai menerapkan Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar (PSBB) mulai Selasa (28/4/2020). Ini juga berdampak pada pelatihan atau workshop tidak bisa diadakan secara face-to-face. Hal tersebut telah menjadi masalah serius dan perlu alternatif solusi agar kualitas anggota Karang Taruna Desa Klurak, Candi, Sidoarjo tidak mengalami penurunan, khususnya keterampilan pembuatan konten ilmiah info COVID-19. Oleh karena itu, Tim PKM berkehendak memberikan kontribusi positif dan nyata Karang Taruna Desa Klurak, Candi, Sidoarjo dengan Kegiatan Online Workshop Pembuatan Konten Ilmiah Info COVID-19.

Abstract

Dye Sensitized Solar Cell (DSSC) merupakan salah satu bagian dari energi terbarukan yang memiliki potensi besar dengan memanfaatkan energi dari sinar matahari menjadi energi listrik dengan bantuan sensitizer sebagai agen penyerap cahaya. Kemampuan konversi DSSC ditunjukkan oleh nilai Jsc (12,70 mA/cm2), Voc (0,585 V), FF (0,476), dan η (3,54%) yang diperoleh dari pengujian solar simulator. Selain parameter tersebut, karakteristik DSSC dapat juga ditunjukkan dari nilai ttr (0,010 s), trec (0,080 s), ηcc (0,874), D (0,192) dan  LD  (0,124 mm) melalui IMPS (Intensity Modulated Photocurrent Spectroscopy) dan IMVS (Intensity Modulated Photovoltage Spectroscopy). Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik melalui penerepan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada materi Usaha dan Energi. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian pre-eksperimental dengan rancangan one group pre-test dan post-test design. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMAN 1 Gondang dengan desain penelitian satu kelas eksperimen yaitu kelas X MIPA 4. Metode pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik uji normalitas untuk mengetahui kategori pendistribusian normal, uji homogenitas untuk mengetahui kehomogenan data,  uji t-berpasangan untuk mengetahui perbandingan antara nilai pre-test dan nilai post-test, analisis n-gain untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik melalui nilai pre-test  dan nilai post-test, serta deskripitif kuantitatif untuk mengetahui serta mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dengan model Problem Based Learning (PBL). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran dengan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik dengan kategori sedang serta keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dengan kategori sangat baik.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Pada penelitian ini pengukuran resistivitas pada printed circuit board dengan bahan phenolik menggunakan metode four point probe untuk menentukan nilai hambatan jenisnya.Printed Circuit Board (PCB) adalah suatu papan yang dibuat sebagai penghubung dari suatu komponen – komponen elektronika seperti resisitor, dioda, dan sebagainya. Pengukuran resistivitas dengan menggunakan metode Four Point Probe ini lebih banyak digunakan karena metode ini dapat mengukur material konduktor dan material semikonduktor. Pada hasil penelitian ini, pengukuran hambatan jenis PCB dengan luas lapisan tembaga sebesar 1 cm2, 2 cm2, 3 cm2, 4 cm2 dengan jenislPCB yang sejenis dengan 2 merek yang berbeda. Penelitian ini menggunakan 2 merek PCB phenolik yaitu merek KB dan EC. Pada penelitian ini, diperoleh nilai rata – rata resistivitas PCB phenolik merek KB pada luas 1 cm2, 2 cm2, 3 cm2, 4 cm2 berturut-turut 0,65666%2 10-3 ohm cm, 0,516042%2 10-3 ohm cm, 0,350469%2 10-3 ohm cm dan 0,194775%2 10-3 ohm cm, sedangkan untuk merek EC dengan luas 1 cm2, 2 cm2, 3 cm2, 4 cm2 berturut-turut 0,611183%2 10-3 ohm cm, 0,49131%2 10-3 ohm cm, 0,32225%2 10-3 ohm cm dan 0,195328%2 10-3 ohm cm. Berdasarkan nilai rata-rata hambatan jenis yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa semakin luas PCB maka nilai hambatan jenis semakin kecil dan pada merek PCB yang berbeda dengan bahan yang sama tidak memiliki perbedaan nilai hambatan jenis yang besar. Printed Circuit Board (PCB) is a board made as a connector of an electronic components such as resisitor, diode, and etc. Resistivity measurement using Four Point Probe method is more widely used because this method can measure the material of conductor and semiconductor. In the results of this study, measurement of PCB type resistance with copper layer area of ​​1 cm2, 2 cm2, 3 cm2, 4 cm2 with similar PCB type with 2 different brands. This research uses 2 brand phenolic PCB that is KB and EC.
