Abstract

This research examines the application of nadzom memorization method at An-Najah Islamic boarding school Denanyar Jombang. This is a traditional method but continues to be applied and the application system is developing now. There are several activities of this method to support students in their memorization and ability to read and understand Arabic books even though they are also learning outside school. In addition, their memorization is also a requirement for taking the final exam. This research aims to describe the application and effectiveness of this method for learning Arabic grammar. It uses qualitative research methods. Data are collected by interview, observation, documentation, and evaluation result. The data are analyzed using the Miles and Huberman data analysis model. Triangulation is used to verify the validity of the data. The results of this research show that there are four activities around the application of this method. There is daily memorization, memorization evaluation, memorization exam, and festival Serina. This is an effective method used in learning Arabic grammar. It can be seen from the results of the nadzom memorization exam and the evaluation results about Arabic grammar which researchers have tested. Their exam and evaluation scores showed promising results. This proves the effectiveness of this method in learning Arabic grammar at An-Najah Islamic boarding schools.قام هذا البحث بدراسة تطبيق طريقة حفظ النظم في تعلم قواعد اللغة العربية في معهد النجاح دينايار جومباع. تكون هذه الطريقة طريقة تقليدية لكن يستمر ويتطور نظام تطبيقها. هناك العديد من العملية المتعلقة بهذه الطريقة رغم أن الطلبة يتعلّمون أيضا خارج المعهد. ويصبح الحفظ شرطا من شروط متابعة الامتحان.  أما هدف هذا البحث وصف تطبيق هذه الطريقة وفعاليتها في تعلّم الطلبة قواعد اللغة العربية في ذلك المعهد. استخدم هذا  البحث طريقة البحث النوعي. جمعت البيانات بالمقابلة والملاحظة والتوثيق والامتحان. وحلّت البيانات باستخدام نموذج تحليل البيانات عند ميلس وهوبرمان واستخدم التثليث لتحقق صحة البيانات. توضح نتائج هذا البحث أن هناك أربعة برامج حول تطبيق طريقة حفظ النظم في معهد النجاح وهي المحافظة اليومية والمحافظة الكبرى واختبار المحافظة ومهرجان ألف نظم. ويعتبر تطبيق هذه الطريقة طريقة فعالة في تعلم قواعد اللغة العربية بسبب وجود الدلالة من المقابلة والملاحظة ونتائج اختبار المحافظة والامتحان من الباحثة عن فهم قواعد اللغة العربية على درجة جيدة.

Abstract

In preparing the test items, the test maker must take care of using suitable type of test items and diversifying it. Each test item has criteria, advantages, and disadvantages that need to be considered. This research aims to reveal the distribution and diversification of Arabic grammar test items for the third grade in the Junior High School in Batu City. The research is qualitative and descriptive, as it describes the research sample according to a theory and reveals the hidden phenomena. The primary research sample is the Arabic grammar test items for the third grade of Junior High School in the 2019-2020 school year that include the contents taken from the textbook "An-nahwu Al-wadih". The research concluded that the teacher diversified the test with some types of tests. The test is divided into four types of test that include objective and subjective tests such as multiple choice, short answer, completion or filling the blank, and essay. The comprehensive preparation prepared by the evaluation administrations, such as the test item outline, will help the question maker develop the skills of preparing test items. Keywords: Arabic Grammar, Diversification, Evaluation, Items Test, Nahwu, Syntax.   ملخص عند إعداد بنود الاختبار ، يجب على معد الاختبار أن يعتني باستخدام النوع المناسب من بنود الاختبار وتنويعه. لكل بوع الاختبار معايير ومزايا وعيوب يجب مراعاتها.  يهدف هذا البحث إلى الكشف عن توزيع وتنويع بنود اختبار النحو للصف الثالث بالمدرسة المتوسطة بمدينة باتو. يعتبر البحث بحثا نوعيًا ووصفيًا حيث أنه يصف عينة البحث وفق نظرية ويكشف الظواهر الخفية. عينة البحث الأولية هي بنود اختبار النحو للصف الثالث المتوسط للعام الدراسي 2019-2020 ومحتوياتها مأخوذة من الكتاب المقرر "النحو الواضح". وخلصت الدراسة أنه قد قام المدرس بتنويع الاختبارات التي تنقسم إلى أربعة أنواع من الاختبارات التي تشمل الاختبار الموضوعي وغير الموضوعي مثل الاختيار من متعدد والإجابة القصيرة والتكملة والمقال. والإعداد الشامل من إداريات التقويم، مثل مخطط بنود الاختبار لأنه يساعد معدّ الاختبار على تطوير مهارات إعداد بنود الاختبار. الكلمات الرئيسية: نحو ، تنويع ، تقويم ، بنود الاختبار

Abstract

Perkembangan kemampuan siswa dalam Literasi Al-Qur'an IPA yang mengindikasikan visi mewujudkan pembelajar yang religius, kurang mendapatkan perhatian. Upaya guru dalam menggunakan media dalam pembelajaran PAI juga masih belum berjalan maksimal. Media yang digunakan guru dalam pembelajaran PAI kurang efektif karena media masih bersifat konvensional. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, peneliti membuat aplikasi berbasis Augmented Reality berisikan materi ayat kauniyah. Ayat kauniyah dalam media membahas tentang ayat Al-Qur'an yang berkaitan dengan fenomena sains di alam semesta. Melalui kajian materi dalam media tersebut, diharapkan kemampuan literasi IPA Al-Qur'ansiswa dapat meningkat. Basis Augmented Reality yang diterapkan dalam aplikasi memuat objek 3D dari visualisasi gambaran submikroskopis materi sains yang terdapat dalam buku. Hal ini tentu akan meningkatkan literasi IPA pada siswa dan keefisienan pembelajaran

Abstract

Rendahnya motivasi dan hasil belajar Nahwu di Lembaga Tinggi Pesantren Luhur Malang menjadi latar belakang pentingnya penelitian ini dilakukan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) untuk mengetahui secara langsung pengaruh penerapan metode Induktif terhadap pem­belajaran Nahwu di kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi belajar santri me­ning­kat dari siklus I ke siklus II yang ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan rata-rata skor motivasi belajar dari 13,7 menjadi 14,5. Begitu juga dengan hasil belajar mengalami peningkatan nilai rata-rata kelas santri dari 76,2 (Pretes) menjadi 93,5 (Postes) sampai dengan 97,7 (evaluasi siklus II). Penerapan metode pembelajaran Induktif berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar santri yang ditunjukan dari peningkatan skor motivasi belajar berdasarkan empat indikator dan hasil belajar santri mulai dari pretes, postes, dan evaluasi pembelajaran siklus II. Hal tersebut menunjukan bahwa penerapan metode Induktif memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap meningkatnya motivasi dan hasil belajar santri Madin At-Tahdzibiyyah Lembaga Tinggi Pesantren Luhur Malang. Kata kunci: metode pembelajaran induktif; motivasi belajar; hasil belajar; Nahwu; PTK The Application of Inductive Method to Improve Motivation and Nahwu Learning Outcomes in Islamic Boarding Schools The research was conducted using Classroom Action Research (CAR) to directly determine the effect of the application of the Inductive method on Nahwu learning in the classroom. The results showed that the motivation of students increased from cycle I to cycle II, as indicated by an increase in the average score of learning motivation from 13.7 to 14.5. Similarly, the learning outcomes also improv­ed, with the average score of students increasing from 76.2 (pre-test) to 93.5 (post-test) and up to 97.7 (evaluation of cycle II). The application of the Inductive learning method significantly influenced the improvement of student motivation and learning outcomes, as shown by the increase in the score of learning motivation based on four indicators and the learning outcomes of students from pre-test, post-test, and evaluation of cycle II. This indicates that the application of the Inductive method has a positive effect on improving the motivation and learning outcomes of students in Madin At-Tahdzibiyyah Lembaga Tinggi Pesantren Luhur Malang. Abstract

Tujuan dari Penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan media pembelajaran kartu kata dan teka-teki silang untuk meningkatkan penguasaan kosa-kata bahasa Arab. Model penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Data penelitian ini ialah data deskriptif kuantitatif yang didapatkan dari hasil pretest dan posttest, dan data kualitatif didapatkan dari hasil observasi, hasil wawancara dan juga angket sebelum dan setelah penerapan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 9 di SMP Darul Quran yang berjumlah 34 orang. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus dan masing masing siklus terdiri dari empat kali pertemuan Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan media kartu kata dan teka-teki silang pada setiap siklusnya meningkat dengan baik, aktivitas belajar siswa meningkat setelah menggunakan media dengan presentase 77,3 persen, serta hasil observasi aktivitas guru juga meningkat dengan baik. Dari hasil pretest ke posttest pada siklus 1 dengan menggunakan media, rata-rata nilai meningkat menjadi 61,76 persen, sedangkan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 82,3 persen. Kata kunci: penguasaan kosa kata, kartu kata; teka teki silang Mastery of Arabic Vocabulary Using Word Cards and Crosswords for The 9th Grade Students The purpose of this study is to describe the use of word card and crossword puzzle learning media to improve Arabic vocabulary mastery. The research model used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which consists of two cycles. The data of this research are descriptive quantitative data obtained from the results of the pre-test and post-test, and qualitative data obtained from the results of observations, interviews and also questionnaires before and after implementation. The subjects of this study were the 9th grade students at Darul Quran Middle School, which amounted to 34 people. This study consisted of two cycles and each cycle consisted of 4 meetings. The results of the study using word cards and crossword puzzles in each cycle improved well, student learning activities increased after using media with a percentage of 77.3 percent, and the results Observation of teacher activity also improved well. From the results of pretest to posttest in cycle 1 using the media, the average value increased to 61.76 percent, while in cycle II it increased to 82.3 percent. Abstract

Ilmu nahwu merupakan cabang ilmu yang mengkaji aturan dan gramatika bahasa Arab. Di dalamnya, terdapat beberapa bab yang menjelaskan tata cara berbahasa Arab dengan baik dan benar sesuai kaidah. I’rab adalah salah satu materi dasar dalam ilmu nahwu yang harus dikuasai sebelum mempelajari materi-materi lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran "UNO Flip I’rab" serta menguji kelayakan dan efektivitas penggunaannya dalam pembelajaran nahwu bab I’rab melalui pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development), dengan langkah-langkah mencari referensi dari berbagai sumber, menganalisis, kemudian merancang media. Angket validasi dan uji coba digunakan untuk mengukur kelayakan media "UNO Flip I’rab", sementara wawancara, pretest, dan posttest digunakan sebagai data untuk menilai efektivitas media. Berdasarkan hasil validasi, ahli materi memberikan persentase kelayakan sebesar 92,3 persen, sementara ahli media memberikan 76,8 persen, yang menunjukkan bahwa media ini sangat valid. Uji kelayakan media memperoleh persentase sebesar 80,7 persen, sehingga media ini dinyatakan sangat layak digunakan. Efektivitas media diukur melalui peningkatan hasil belajar dengan nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 50,69 dan rata-rata posttest sebesar 89,15. Antusiasme siswa dalam menggunakan media "UNO Flip I’rab" pada pembelajaran Nahwu juga sangat tinggi.

Abstract

Teaching Arabic at the middle school level has a crucial role in shaping students’ Arabic language skills, especially in the seventh grade. In view of the challenges and needs in the learning process, the researcher tried to improve students’ abilities to understand and apply these challenges. This research seeks to develop the pocketbook as a companion to the Arabic language book to improve language skills at Al-Hamidiyah Islamic Middle School, describe its validity, and the effectiveness of its use. The results of the research in this study are (1) This development research used the Borg & Gall development model, and the steps taken by the researcher were needs analysis, desk study, field study, material selection, product development, expert testing, correction, product trial and final product improvement. The development of this educational material led to the creation of the pocketbook as a companion to the Arabic language book consisting of three units, (2) Validity testing was conducted which includes expert testing in two main aspects: validity of the material and validity of the methods. The results of the material validity test were 70%, while the results of the methods validity test were 90.8%. (3) The pocketbook received the category of effective for use as an educational tool for seventh grade students at Al Hamidiya Islamic Middle School. The test results show that the calculated t value is larger than the t table, that is, the calculated t is -24.948 while the t table is 2.060. إن تعليم اللغة العربية على مستوى المدرسة المتوسطة له دور حاسم في تشكيل مهارات اللغة العربية لدى الطلاب، وخاصة في الصف السابع. وذلك بالنظر إلى التحديات والاحتياجات في عملية التعلم، حاولت الباحثة لتحسين قدرات الطلاب على فهم وتطبيق هذه التحديات وجوه. يسعى هذا البحث إلى تطوير كتاب الجيب كمصاحب كتاب اللغة العربية لتحسين المهارات اللغوية بامدرسة الحميدية المتوسطة الإسلامية، ووصف صلاحيته، وفعالية استخدامه. فنتائج البحث في هذه الدراسة هي (1) استخدم بحث التطوير هذا نموذج التطوير Borg & Gall، والخطوات التي قامت بها الباحثة هي تحليل الاحتياجات، والدراسة المكتبية، والدراسة الميدانية، واختيار المواد، وتطوير المنتج، واختبار الخبراء، والتصحيح، وتجربة المنتج وتحسين المنتج النهائي. أدى تطوير هذه المادة التعليمية إلى إنشاء كتاب الجيب كمصاحب كتاب اللغة العربية يتكون من ثلاث وحدات، (2) تم إجراء اختبار الصلاحية الذي يتضمن اختبار الخبراء في جانبين رئيسيين: صلاحية المادة وصلاحية الوسائل. وكانت نتائج اختبار صلاحية المادة 70%، في حين بلغت نتائج اختبار صلاحية الوسائل 90.8%، (3) حصل كتاب الجيب على فئة فعالة للاستخدام كوسيلة تعليمية لطلاب الصف السابع بمدرسة الحميدية المتوسطة الإسلامية. أظهرت نتائج الاختبار أن قيمة t المحسوبة أكبر من جدول t، أي أن t المحسوب هو -24,948 بينما جدول t هو 2,060.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the low creative thinking skills of students in applying the grammatical rules of Maf’ul Muthlaq in writing and speaking in Arabic and their low cognitive skills in understanding Maf’ul Muthlaq learning materials. These deficiencies result from the application of grammar teaching strategies limited to giving lectures, explanations, presentations, and examples. None of them allows students to think creatively, which leads to high cognitive skills. This fact is based on the experience of the researchers in teaching Arabic grammar and writing skills courses. This study aims to apply the poem-writing strategy using Canva in the Tathbiq Nahwi Tsanawi course and assess its effectiveness in increasing students' creative thinking skills in using Maf’ul Muthlaq. This study utilizes an experimental method with the one-shot case study design to assess the effectiveness of this strategy in improving the students' creative thinking skills. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the poem-writing strategy using Canva can improve the students' creative thinking skills in learning Maf’ul Muthlaq to a high level.

Abstract

Changes in the morphological construction of Arabic words (wazn al-ṣarf) produce new meanings, often making Arabic learners fall into translation errors. While the existing books on ṣarf (Arabic morphology) have explained these meanings narratively, the learners have yet to face a massive problem in tracking these morphological construction-based meaning changes. Therefore, as a novelty offered, this research aims to identify the changing meanings based on the varied morphological constructions and represent them in a didactic poetic arrangement to ease learning and memorization. The development design is organized based on 4D procedures (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Several morphological constructions of Arabic words and their resulting meaning changes were identified in the defining stage. The design stage was concerned with determining the prosodic form of naẓm (didactic poetic versification, ʽarȗḍ) with which the identified meaning changes of the varied morphological constructions of words were composed and devising the procedures by which this composed naẓm was tested to validate its utility in helping learning and memorization processes, in terms of its feasibility, media appearance, and teaching steps. In the developing stage, the prosodic form of Rajz was chosen to compose the naẓm, and an Android-based application was selected as the learning medium. Finally, in the disseminating stage, the produced application was uploaded to the Google Play Store, which learners, teachers, and validators can download for testing and use. The research produced a naẓm consisting of 9 chapters of morphological word constructions and 32 verses. The validation test suggested a very good qualification (87,61%), with some revisions in certain parts. As such, the product of this research is recommended to be used by both teachers and learners of Arabic to comprehend and memorize more effectively the different meanings of various morphological constructions of Arabic words using a naẓm.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meninjau efektivitas penerapan kaidah imla’ dasar ‎dalam ‎meningkatkan kemampuan menulis Bahasa Arab siswa kelas 7 MTsN 1 ‎Kota Malang. Metode yang ‎digunakan adalah eksperimen-kuasi dengan desain ‎satu kelompok sebelum perlakuan dan sesudah ‎perlakuan (one organization pretest-‎posttest layout). Penelitian dimulai dengan pretest untuk ‎mengukur kemampuan ‎awal siswa, dilanjutkan dengan pemberian treatment berupa pengajaran ‎kaidah ‎imla’ dasar, dan diakhiri dengan posttest untuk mengevaluasi hasil belajar. Hasil ‎penelitian ‎menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan menulis siswa setelah ‎diberikan treatment. Nilai rata-‎rata pretest sebesar 77 meningkat menjadi 88 pada ‎posttest. Analisis statistik dengan uji-t ‎menunjukkan nilai t-hitung sebesar 7,11 ‎lebih besar dari t-tabel sebesar 2,06 pada tingkat signifikansi ‎‎0,05. Hal ini ‎mengindikasikan efektivitas penerapan kaidah imla’ dasar dalam memperbaiki ‎kemampuan menulis Bahasa Arab siswa dengan ditemukannya perbedaan signifikan terhadap hasil ‎tulisan siswa sebelum dan sesudah treatment diberikan. Diharapkan dari hasil penelitian ini dapat ‎menjadi pertimbangan untuk tenaga pendidik Bahasa Arab untuk lebih memperhatikan peran penting ‎kaidah imla’ pada pembelajaran Bahasa Arab dan mempraktikkannya secara berkala dalam upaya ‎memperbaiki sejak dini kemampuan menulis Bahasa Arab siswa.‎ Kata Kunci: Bahasa Arab, Imla’, Menulis AbstractThis research aims to review the effectiveness of applying basic imla' rules in ‎improving Arabic writing ‎skills of 7th grade students of MTsN 1 Malang City. The ‎method is quasi-experiment with one ‎organization pretest-posttest layout. The research‎ began with a pretest to measure students' initial ‎abilities, followed by giving ‎treatment in the form of teaching basic imla' rules, and ended with a ‎posttest to ‎evaluate learning outcomes. The results showed an increase in students' writing ‎ability after ‎being given treatment. The average pretest score of 77 increased to 88 in ‎the posttest. Statistical ‎analysis with t-test shows that the t-count value of 7.11 is ‎greater than the t-table of 2.06 at the 0.05 ‎significance level. This indicates the effectiveness of the application of basic imla' rules to improving ‎students' Arabic writing skills by findings significant differences in the results of student writing before ‎and after treatment is given. It is hoped that the results of this research can be a consideration for ‎Arabic educators to give more attention the important role of imla' rules in Arabic learning and ‎practice it regularly in order to improve students' Arabic writing skills earlier.‎ Keywords: Arabic, Imla’, Writing
