Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran bahasa arab berbasis CALL (Computer Asissted Language Learning) menggunakan Moodle dan Flash Card. Nama pembelajaran di Moodle adalah At-Tashil yang diisi materi pembelajaran sesuai kurikulum yang dipakai, sedangkan Flash Card digunakan untuk mengukur dampak dari pembelajaran Moodle pada siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model prosedural, yaitu mendeskripsikan langkah-langkah dalam menghasilkan produk media pembelajaran CALL berbantuan Moodle dan Flash Card. Pengumpulan data penelitian ini dilakukan melalui wawancara, angket dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil dan pembahasan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran bahasa Arab CALL berbantuan moodle dan Flash Card bernama At-Tashil termasuk kategori sangat layak digunakan untuk mempengaruhi minat belajar dan kompetensi siswa pada maharah kalam siswa kelas X SMA Darul Qur’an Singosari Malang. Sehingga, produk penelitian ini menyajikan solusi pembelajaran bahasa Arab yang inovatif dan ramah lingkungan sesuai dengan kebutuhan peserta didik sekolah menengah atas di era modern.

Abstract

The ineffective use of conventional student worksheets for learning fi’il madli among ninth-grade students at a Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Malang has resulted in limited comprehension and underutilization of technological tools, with 78.9% of 50 students experiencing learning difficulties and 90% scoring below the Minimum Completion Criteria. To address this problem, this study developed and evaluated SAMIL, a teaching material based on multiliteracy learning and Augmented Reality (AR), aimed at improving students’ understanding of fi’il madli. The research applied the Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, consisting of five stages: analyzing learning needs, designing teaching material concepts and instruments, developing the product, implementing product trials, and evaluating each stage. Quantitative data were gathered through needs analysis, expert validation scores, and responses from teachers and students, while qualitative data were obtained from classroom observations, interviews, and expert suggestions. The quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, and the qualitative data were interpreted using descriptive methods. The findings indicate that SAMIL achieved validation scores of 84.45% from subject matter experts, 91.47% from media experts, 90.28% from teachers, and 90.33% from 24 student users. These results demonstrate that the SAMIL materials are both feasible and practical for use in Arabic language instruction. Moreover, the integration of multiliteracy and AR in the teaching materials offers an engaging and interactive learning alternative that addresses students’ difficulties in mastering Arabic verb structures, thus contributing to more effective and technology-supported learning experiences in secondary-level Arabic education.

Abstract

The low proficiency in Arabic reading and speaking among students is often attributed to monotonous teaching methods and a lack of visual learning media. This study explores the pedagogical potential of picture storybooks as a multimodal solution to support Arabic language learning at the elementary and secondary levels. The research aims to analyze how picture storybooks influence vocabulary acquisition, sentence structure comprehension, reading literacy, and speaking fluency. Using a qualitative library research approach, data were gathered from peer-reviewed journals, books, and academic reports published within the last five years. The findings indicate that integrating visual and verbal elements through picture storybooks helps students understand vocabulary in context, builds confidence in speaking, and increases motivation to engage with reading. This approach supports key theories in language learning, including Dual Coding Theory, Multimodal Learning, Krashen’s Input Hypothesis, and Vygotsky’s Sociocultural Theory. All of which emphasize language learning as a meaning-focused, context-rich, and socially mediated process. The study concludes that picture storybooks serve as an effective instructional tool for Arabic language education by bridging cognitive, affective, and linguistic domains. It recommends further empirical studies in real classroom settings to evaluate the long-term impact of this medium across different learner profiles and proficiency levels.

Abstract

Pembelajaran bahasa Arab di Indonesia perlu disesuaikan dengan tuntutan zaman agar peserta didik dapat mengembangkan keterampilan yang komprehensif dalam berbahasa. Pendekatan multiliterasi menawarkan solusi untuk meningkatkan akses dan pemahaman siswa terhadap berbagai sumber belajar, termasuk teks tradisional dan teknologi digital. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk membangun nuansa multiliterasi pada guru-guru Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) Bahasa Arab di Kabupaten Malang dengan mengimplementasikan Innovative Sharaf Textbook Integrated Augmented Reality Quartet Card Game (SAMIL). Program ini melibatkan 35 guru dari MGMP Bahasa Arab Kabupaten Malang. Kegiatan dimulai dengan observasi terhadap masalah yang dihadapi guru dan siswa dalam pembelajaran sharaf, khususnya rendahnya motivasi belajar dan keterbatasan media pembelajaran yang inovatif. Pelatihan dan pendampingan dilaksanakan, meliputi penggunaan media SAMIL berbasis teknologi AR untuk mendukung pembelajaran sharaf. Hasilnya, guru-guru mampu menerapkan media pembelajaran ini dengan lebih efektif, sementara siswa menunjukkan peningkatan motivasi dan pemahaman. Media berbasis AR juga mendukung pengembangan literasi digital dan visual, yang penting dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab di era globalisasi. Program ini berhasil meningkatkan nuansa multiliterasi dan memberikan inovasi baru dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab di sekolah

Abstract

Ibadah haji menuntut kesiapan holistik yang seringkali tidak terakomodasi oleh bimbingan konvensional yang hanya berfokus pada aspek ritual, sehingga menciptakan kesenjangan antara pemahaman teori dan kesiapan praktik di lapangan. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan mengimplementasikan sebuah model bimbingan haji terpadu untuk membangun kesiapan yang komprehensif bagi 46 calon jamaah haji dari lingkungan Universitas Negeri Malang. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus, program ini dirancang dengan alur sistematis dalam enam tahapan fundamental: pra-manasik, manasik teoretis dan personal melalui kunjungan ke rumah, praktik lapangan melalui simulasi yang detail dan realistis, prosesi pemberangkatan, pendampingan penuh di Tanah Suci, hingga penjemputan kembali ke tanah air. Hasil kegiatan yang dievaluasi secara kualitatif menunjukkan keberhasilan yang signifikan, ditandai oleh partisipasi dan antusiasme jamaah yang sangat tinggi. Peningkatan pemahaman fikih dan keterampilan praktik manasik terbukti secara nyata selama sesi simulasi. Selain itu, pendekatan personal berhasil membentuk ukhuwah dan solidaritas yang kuat di antara jamaah, yang menjadi modal sosial krusial selama perjalanan ibadah. Model bimbingan holistik yang mencakup pendampingan dari hulu ke hilir ini terbukti sangat efektif dalam membentuk jamaah yang mandiri, percaya diri, dan siap secara spiritual, fisik, maupun mental. Program ini tidak hanya berhasil membina jamaah, tetapi juga menawarkan sebuah standar acuan (best practice) bagi kelompok bimbingan lain, khususnya yang berbasis di perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

This research aims to develop Arabic language teaching materials based on Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL), utilizing the Moodle platform. Moodle will incorporate vocabulary, reading texts, dialogues, and exercises tailored to the curriculum of MTs Al-Muslihuun Tlogo Blitar. Additionally, Moodle will include images, animations, and online quizzes related to the speaking skill (maharah kalam). This CALL implementation will be integrated with vocabulary games in the form of Flashcards. The research employs the ADDIE model developed by Reiser and Margareth Mollenda. The Moodle platform is designed by analyzing the needs for teaching materials, referring to the independent curriculum for the ninth grade of Madrasah Tsanawiyah under the Ministry of Religious Affairs. The embedded videos are sourced from YouTube.com, while animations are obtained from social media platforms. Exercises and Flashcards are designed using Canva.com premium and Adobe Photoshop Lightroom. Quizzes are created using Quizizz.com, Kahoot.com, Owl Quiz, Wordwall, Fyrebox, and Baamboozle. The product trial demonstrated student acceptance and satisfaction, achieving a rate of 93.5%. Summary of statistical results: There was an increase in the average value (mean) between the pre-treatment and post-treatment periods. The initial mean value, measured through the pre-test, was 60.22, while the post-test mean value, following the treatment, showed a significant increase to 78.70. That indicates that the intervention had a positive effect.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the alignment of the curriculum structure in the Arabic Language Education study program at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta with the competency needs of graduates that are relevant to the workforce and the advancement of scientific knowledge. The method used is qualitative descriptive with a document study approach, through the analysis of curriculum documents and Course Learning Outcomes. The results indicate that the curriculum has been systematically and structurally organized into four groups of courses: General Courses, Basic Educational Courses, Educational Expertise Courses of the Study Program, and Study Program Courses. The alignment between course learning outcomes and the curriculum in the domains of attitudes, knowledge, and skills has been fulfilled through various relevant courses, enabling the formation of graduates who not only possess knowledge and skills but also professional attitudes and strong character. This study recommends that curriculum development continues to be adjusted to the dynamic developments of science, technology, and labor market needs so that graduates can compete and contribute optimally.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an Arabic e-learning module based on local wisdom and test its effectiveness in increasing the learning interest of tenth-grade students. This study is important because learning interest impacts language comprehension and mastery. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The researcher selected a population of tenth-grade students at a senior high school implementing the independent curriculum. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling, conducted randomly without considering strata within the population. The research subjects comprised 30 tenth-grade students in class G at the Senior High School (MAN 4 Jombang) in East Java. The research instruments included expert validation sheets, student response questionnaires, and pretest-posttest questions. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential quantitative statistics through the Shapiro-Wilk normality test, Levene's homogeneity test, and paired t-test. The results showed that the developed e-module was valid and feasible based on assessments by content and media experts. Statistical tests showed a significant increase in student scores after using the e-module, with an average pretest score of 44.27 and an average posttest score of 84.93. The paired t-test yielded a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant difference between students' learning outcomes before and after using the e-module. Therefore, the e-module based on local wisdom is effective and highly recommended as a teaching material in improving students' interest and performance in learning Arabic.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of digital innovations in grade VI at MI Al-Mubarokah Pondok Indah Jakarta in Arabic language learning and identify the negative impacts of digital media on student learning behavior. This research method used a case study. The data sources were 20 students and one Arabic teacher, using semi-structured interviews. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis involves data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that digital media-based teaching increases students’ interest in learning, but excessive use decreases students’ intelligence, concentration, and grades. Therefore, a balance is needed between technology-based teaching innovations, character values ​​, and student learning discipline under teacher supervision.

Abstract

Speaking proficiency in Arabic is a fundamental skill for Madrasah Aliyah students, yet many face challenges in developing it effectively. These difficulties are often due to the lack of contextual learning approaches and limited use of relevant teaching media. This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of a contextual learning approach supported by realia in enhancing the Arabic speaking skills of Grade X students at MAN 3 Jombang. This research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design conducted in two cycles, which included stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. A total of 37 students participated in this study. Data were collected through observation, interviews, speaking tests, and documentation, then analyzed using both qualitative and quantitative descriptive methods. The findings indicate that the integration of contextual learning and realia media significantly improved students' speaking performance. In the first cycle, students showed improvement in vocabulary and sentence structure. In the second cycle, notable progress was observed in fluency, self-confidence, and the ability to convey ideas orally. The use of realia—such as concrete objects and visual aids—created a more interactive and engaging learning environment that encouraged active participation in Arabic communication. This study suggests that the contextual approach combined with realia is an effective strategy to be applied more broadly in Arabic language instruction at the secondary school level.
