Abstract

Tujuan penulisan ini adalah ingin memberikan data dan informasi mengenai kegiatan pelatihan tari yang dilaksanakan di Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Permasalahan mendasar dari kegiatan ini adalah ingin memberikan pengalaman pengetahuan dan keterampilan terhadap guru-guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran tari di sekolah dasar. Oleh karena, pada umumnya guru seni di sekolah dasar tidak memiliki perangkat pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang memadai untuk melaksanakan kegiatan belajar mengajar seni tari sesuai dengan kaidah-kaidah pembelajaran tari untuk anak sekolah dasar. Mayoritas para guru seni di sekolah dasar bukan berlatar belakang pendidikan disiplin ilmu seni. Maka dari itu, tujuan kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah membantu meningkatkan kompetensi keterampilan tari guru dalam melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran tari di sekolah dasar. Metode pelatihan tari yang dikembangkan dalam kegiatan ini menggunakan konsep model pelatihan empat langkah dari Crone Hunter dengan melalui tahapan pembentukan kelompok/peserta pelatihan, identifikasi kebutuhan belajar, penentuan kurikulum atau program pelatihan, dan mengevaluasi pelaksanaan dari hasil pelatihan. Hasil kegiatan pelatihan ini mampu memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pada guru-guru dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran tari dengan menggali nilai-nilai kearifan lokal Jawa Barat sebagai pengembangan konsep pendidikan karakter melalui kegiatan pembelajaran seni tari di sekolah dasar. Para guru diberikan materi pelatihan cara mengolah gerak berdasarkan konsep-konsep dasar ilmu koreografi agar pada saat di sekolah mampu mengembangkan desain pembelajaran sesuai dengan potensi sumber pembelajaran yang tersedia di sekolah.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low level of student independence at SMP Pasundan 3 Bandung, prompting the use of the Non-Directive Learning model based on the Merdeka Curriculum as an alternative solution to this problem. The main objective is to examine the effectiveness of the Non-Directive Learning model in dance education to enhance student independence. A quantitative approach was used in this study, employing a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest model. The study involved 41 students from class VIII A (21 boys and 20 girls). Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis included tests of instrument validity and reliability, descriptive statistics, normality testing, and hypothesis testing (t-test). The results indicate that the Non-Directive Learning model had a positive impact on improving student independence. The hypothesis test (paired sample t-test) yielded a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference between the pretest (mean score: 66) and posttest (mean score: 80). This improvement confirms that the implementation of the Non-Directive Learning model effectively enhances student independence.

Abstract

The development of Augmented Reality technology offers new opportunities in education by providing visual, interactive, and exploratory learning experiences, particularly in dance learning that requires strong visual comprehension. This study aims to develop, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of an AR-based dance-teaching module to increase elementary students’ interest in learning. Grounded in a pragmatic paradigm, the research employed a mixed-methods approach using the Design and Development method. Participants included AR experts, dance teachers, and 20 fifth-grade students from Cendekia Leadership School Bandung. Data were collected through interviews, observations, expert validation, tests, and questionnaires, while learning interest was analyzed using the SAFARI indicators: pleasure, interest, attention, and active involvement. Statistical analysis included normality testing, paired-samples t-tests, and N-Gain calculations. Results showed the module was rated “Very Feasible” by experts with a mean score of 90.97%. Field testing indicated significant improvement in student scores from a pre-test mean of 60.15 to a post-test mean of 80.45, with a significant difference (p 0.001) and a high N-Gain of 0.81. Questionnaire findings revealed students’ learning interest reached a Very High level (92.19%). Therefore, the AR-based module effectively enhances learning interest through interactive, visually engaging dance instruction for elementary learners.

Abstract

The quality of the implementation of dance studios as non-formal educational institutions can be measured through the quality of program execution and the management systems applied. Dance studios function not only as spaces for arts education but also as culture-based business units that require quality control to ensure the achievement of performance targets, service quality, and business objectives. However, preliminary studies indicate that most dance studios in Indonesia have not yet implemented standardized and modern management systems. This study aims to describe the development of a web-based application, Quality Index version 1.0, as an instrument for standardizing business processes and controlling the quality of dance studio management in Indonesia. The research employs a development research method with a descriptive qualitative approach, analyzing the design, functions, and initial implementation of the Quality Index application version 1.0. The results show that the application can present a database of dance studios based on established quality standards and facilitate the direct collection of management data through on-site assessments. The application serves as a systematic, measurable quality control tool. It is concluded that the Edumatriks Quality Index version 1.0 has the potential to serve as a standard quality parameter for dance studio management. This research contributes to the development of technology-based evaluation and management models in community dance arts education.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the creativity involved in creating Indonesian dance costumes in dance learning at SMAN 5 Cimahi. The study is based on the importance of dance education, which not only introduces cultural values but also provides students with opportunities to express creativity through costume creation. This research used a qualitative descriptive approach. The participants were 36 students of class XI IPA 4, the subject teacher, the principal, and the vice principal for student affairs. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and were analyzed using data triangulation through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that students were able to demonstrate creativity in dance costume creation through learning activities that included understanding the material, sketching designs, selecting materials, and producing collaborative works. The learning process was carried out in three meetings and ran smoothly with active student participation. The uniqueness of the material, group collaboration, and teacher guidance were the main factors supporting the emergence of student creativity. This study indicates that participatory dance learning can serve as an effective means to develop creativity, self confidence, and appreciation for Nusantara culture. The findings may also inspire teachers to design more innovative and meaningful arts learning experiences. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan kreativitas penciptaan busana tari Nusantara dalam pembelajaran seni tari di SMAN 5 Cimahi. Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkat dari pentingnya pembelajaran seni tari yang tidak hanya memperkenalkan budaya, tetapi juga memberi ruang bagi siswa untuk berkreativitas melalui penciptaan busana tari. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 36 siswa kelas XI IPA 4, guru mata pelajaran, kepala sekolah, dan wakil kepala sekolah bidang kesiswaan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis melalui triangulasi data dengan tahapan reduksi, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa mampu menunjukkan kreativitas dalam penciptaan busana tari melalui proses mengenal materi, menggambar desain, menentukan bahan, dan mewujudkan karya secara berkelompok. Pembelajaran berlangsung dalam tiga pertemuan dan berjalan lancar dengan keterlibatan aktif siswa. Keunikan materi, kerja sama kelompok, serta bimbingan guru menjadi faktor utama yang mendukung munculnya kreativitas siswa. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran seni tari yang dirancang secara partisipatif dapat menjadi sarana efektif untuk mengembangkan kreativitas, rasa percaya diri, dan apresiasi terhadap budaya Nusantara. Temuan ini juga dapat menjadi inspirasi bagi guru dalam merancang pembelajaran seni yang lebih inovatif dan bermakna.
