Abstract

This research was conducted at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Medan with the aim of knowing the personality competence of educators. This research is a field research and the research approach used is a descriptive qualitative research approach. So this research procedure, will produce descriptive data, in the form of written or spoken words from people and observable behavior. This qualitative descriptive study aims to detect a state or phenomenon as it is. The results of this study will reveal the competence of educators in MAN 1 Medan which is supported by Government Regulation No. 19 of 2005 concerning National Education Standards, which states that teacher personality competencies are personality abilities that are: (1) steady; (2) stable; (3) adults; (4) wise and prudent; (5) authoritative; (6) have a noble character; (7) become role models for students and society; (8) evaluating own performance; and (9) develop themselves continuously, including: 1) Educators at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Medan have a Steady and Stable personality, 2) Educators at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Medan have adult and Arif personalities, 3) Educators at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Medan have personality with noble character, 4) Educators at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Medan have a dignified personality.

Abstract

Layanan mediasi menjadi hal yang sangat penting disuatu lembaga pendidikan, hal ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan lingkungan madrasah menjadi lebih tertib aman dan damai. Dalam penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana implementasi layanan mediasi dalam meningkatkan disiplin siswa Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 3 Medan, dengan cakupan rumusan masalah yaitu 1) Bagaimana guru bimbingan dan konseling menangani masalah siswa melalui layanan mediasi di MAN 3 Medan?, 2) Bagaimana layanan mediasi dapat mendukung peningkatan disiplin siswa di MAN 3 Medan?, 3) Bagaimana gambaran keberhasilan layanan mediasi dalam meningkatkan disiplin siswa di MAN 3 Medan?Hasil penelitian mendiksripkan bahwa layanan mediasi merupakan layanan konseling yang dilaksanakan konselor terhadap dua pihak atau lebih yang sedang dalam keadaan saling tidak menemukan kecocokan, dengan layanan mediasi juga secara tidak langsung sangat mendukung peningkatan disiplin siswa di MAN 3 Medan. Adapun rincian dari hasil penelitian tersebut 1) Pelaksanaan layanan mediasi melalui proses atau tahapan-tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, analisis hasil evaluasi, tindak lanjut dan laporan. 2)  Layanan mediasi di MAN 3 Medan sangat mendukung peningkatan disiplin peserta didik, adapun peningkatan disiplin tersebut diantaranya: a) Layanan mediasi mendukung peningkatan displin dalam kehadiran, b) Layanan mediasi mendukung peningkatan displin dalam tata tertib dan misi sekolah dan c) Layanan mediasi mendukung peningkatan displin dalam proses belajar. 3) Terdapat gambaran keberhasilan  layanan mediasi dalam peningkatan disiplin siswa MAN 3 Medan diantaranya, gambaran keberhasilan dalam proses belajar yang kondusif, gambaran keberhasilan dalam menjalankan misi Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 3 Medan, gambaran keberhasilan di lingkungan MAN 3 Medan menjadi aman dan tertib dan gambaran keberhasilan dalam menjalankan tata tertib di MAN 3 Medan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif  untuk menyelidiki hal-hal yang terdapat lingkungan alami (natural) dan mencoba untuk menginterpretasi fenomena yang sedang terjadi. Penelitian kualitatif  dapat diartikan  sebagai kegiatan yang terencana, mencakup segala aspek penafsiran yang yang memudahkan partisipan  dan informan dapat terlihat. Pendekatan Penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan fenomenologi yang mengkaji penerapan bimbingan dan konseling dalam pembinaan akhlak di era digital. Adapun Subjek dan objek dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, guru bimbingan dan konseling, guru akidah akhlak dan siswa kelas X, sedangkan Arsip BK, buku catatan kasus dan dokumen profil MAS Aisyiyah Kota Binjai merupakan data sekunder. Dalam pengumpulan data, metode yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Dalam menganalisis data peneliti menggunakan analisis kualitatif dengan langkah- langkah pemaparan data, reduksi data dan penarikan kesimpulan  Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa (1) Kondisi akhlak siswa kelas X terhadap perkembangan di era digital sudah cukup baik (2) Pelaksanaan bimbingan dan konseling  yang dilakukan guru BK berjalan dengan efektif dengan melaksanakan berbagai program BK (3) Hambatan dalam pembinaan akhlak siswa kelas X tentunya sebagian besar dipengaruhi oleh arus digitalisasi sehingga membuat perilaku mereka berubah (4) Solusi untuk mengatasi berbagai hambatan yang terjadi dalam membina akhlak di era digital yakni dengan adanya saling kerjasama antar pihak madrasah, orangtua serta para siswa  untuk selalu memajukan kegiatan layanan BK.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan menganalisis secara mendalam nilai-nilai Islam dengan memberikan bimbingan(keagaaman) Islam terhadap pasien di sebuah Rumah Sakit . Karena boleh jadi penyakit yang datang bukan saja disebabkan aspek medis, melainkan ada unsur kejiwaan. Pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologi digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Partisipan sebanyak 3 orang dan proses pengumpulan data melalui metode wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terapi rohani Islam menunjukkan kearah perubahan positif (kesembuhan) terhadap pasien di Rumah Sakit.____________________________________________________This study aims to examine and analyze in depth Islamic values by providing Islamic guidance to patients in a hospital. Because it may be a disease that comes not only due to medical aspects, but there is a mental element. A qualitative phenomenological approach was used in this study. Participants as many as 3 people and the process of collecting data through interviews, observation and documentation. The results showed that Islamic spiritual therapy showed positive changes (healing) towards patients in the hospital.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Menurut catatan BNNK AKBP Drs. Joko Susilo Deli Serdang adalah daerah urutan ke-2 tingginya peredaran narkoba di wilayah Sumut. Menurut dia, diketahui bahwa dari tahun 2012, pengguna narkoba di Indonesia ada sekitar 4 juta orang atau sekitar 2,8 persen dari jumlah keseluruhan penduduk nasional, dimana 70 persen atau sekitar 2,8 juta orang merupakan pecandu dari kalangan pekerja. Sementara sekitar 25 persen atau sekitar 1 juta orang merupakan pecandu narkoba dari kalangan pelajar dan mahasiswa, lima persennya atau sekitar 200 ribu orang merupakan penyalahgunaan narkoba dari kalangan ibu rumah tangga. Melihat dari hal tersebut perlu diadakan sebuah metode untuk membentengi remaja dari serangan narkoba, diantaranya adalah pembinaan remaja melalui malam ibadah untuk pencegahan penyalahgunaan narkoba di Desa Pematang Johar

Abstract

The implementation of learning strategies that have not been able to make students enthusiastic in participating in learning activities, is due to the lack of application of creative and innovative learning strategies. This study aims to analyze the strategies applied by religious teachers to students, to determine the effectiveness of the strategies involved in cultivating Islamic thought values at Elementary School. This type of research is descriptive research. The subject of this research is to analyze Islamic education strategies. Data collection was carried out by interview, using instruments in the form of interview guides. The data analysis technique in this study uses descriptive qualitative data analysis techniques. The results showed that the strategy of Islamic religious teachers in instilling the values of Islamic thought in students by implementing the K13 curriculum with the talking stick method and snowballing to create effective learning in order to achieve learning objectives by planning making annual programs, semester programs, learning syllabus, lesson plans, and learning evaluation. The implication of this research is to increase students' interest in learning by inviting students to be enthusiastic about learning, creating student creativity, sharing, and having the courage to convey ideas.

Abstract

The research problem was how the planning, implementation, problems and  solving the problems which supervisor did in improving Islamic  teachers’ pedagogic competencies at Government Junior School 10 Binjai, Binjai City, North Sumatera. The purpose of the study was to describe the planning, implementation, problems and  solving the problems which supervisor did in improving Islamic  teachers’ pedagogic competencies at Government Junior School 10 Binjai, Binjai City, North Sumatera. This research was conducted with qualitative methods. Research data collection was done by using interview, observation and documentation studies. Data analysis was done by using data reduction, data display, and conclusion, that the process took place in a circular during the study.The supervisor’s planning in improving Islamic teachers’ pedagogic competencies at State Junior High School 10 Binjai, Binjai City, North Sumatera conducted in early academic year and involving supervisors, principal, and the teachers. Planning arranged systematically in the Work Plan Trustees.The implementation of improving Islamic teachers’ pedagogic competencies at State Junior High School 10 Binjai, Binjai City, North Sumatera done in two ways: personal approach and group approach. Personal approach consisted of direct class visits, personal meeting and class observation. Group approach consisted of periodical meeting, the empowerment of Islamic Teachers Organization and trainings.Problems faced by Supervisor in improving Islamic teachers’ pedagogic competencies at State Junior High School 10 Binjai, Binjai City, North Sumatera were: 1) Technical problems, consisted of urgent unplanned worktrip and the large workfield which reduced meeting intensity with Islamic teachers; and 2) Non technical problems, which consisted of changing of national curriculum and changing of Teaching Plan Form. These several changes caused misunderstood among Islamic teachers.Supervisor solved the problems faced in improving Islamic teachers’ pedagogic competencies at State Junior High School 10 Binjai, Binjai City, North Sumatera by building effective communication with teachers, improving his personal performance and empowering Islamic Teachers Organization monthly.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and evaluate the context, input, process, and product of a substantive technical training program for preparing lesson plans for Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers. The study used a qualitative approach with the CIPP evaluation model (context, input, process, and product). The results showed that; first, the context dimension states that the implementation of education and training is by the legal basis for working; second, the input dimension includes the availability of reliable resources, adequate facilities, and infrastructure and financing borne by the government, so that its implementation can be carried out properly; third, the dimension of the process which includes the implementation of programs that are by the predetermined plans and designs; fourth, the product dimension where the teacher already understands the specified competencies.

Abstract

The purpose of this service activity is to provide information to parents, PAUD teachers about methods of character building in children. Character building is very effective starting from an early age, because early childhood still has an imitation spirit, meaning that if given a good example, it will be good too. The targets to be achieved after the implementation of this activity are parents and PAUD teachers so that character building must begin when children are at an early age. The method in this service activity is the lecture method and interactive question and answer with partners. Overall this service activity went smoothly and received a good response from parents and teachers. The majority of participants hoped that this activity would not stop there, but that there would be more intensive follow-up. With this activity, PAUD parents and teachers get information about methods for character building, so they can do it themselves at home. Keywords: Method, character building, early childhood
