Abstract

Telah dilaksanakan penyuluhan pemakaian plastik kemasan makanan pada kelompok pemberdayaan dan kesejahteraan keluarga (PKK) di Desa Sigara Gara, Sumatera Utara. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan penyuluhan ini adalah ceramah dan diskusi berbentuk klasikal. Materi yang disampaikan adalah tentang plastik kemasan makanan yang aman untuk kesehatan. Jenis-jenis plastik kemasan, contohnya, dan cara mengenali plastik kemasan yang aman.  Evaluasi dari kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan memberikan pretes dan postes kepada peserta sebelum dan setelah kegiatan dilakukan. Hasil evaluasi diperoleh rata-rata persentasi peningkatan hasil tes yang terjadi adalah 74,77%, dimana rata-rata pretes 4,50 dan postes 7,77, yang menunjukkan kegiatan penyuluhan yang telah dilakukan terbukti efektif.

Abstract

Sexual crimes in schools can cause trauma to children and create discomfort in the educational environment. Therefore, sexual education for children is a preventive measure to protect them from violence and sexual deviance. This study aims to analyze the design of a Quran-based sexual education model implemented in children's educational institutions in Deli Serdang District, the management of a child-friendly educational environment that supports this model, and the challenges faced. This study uses a qualitative method based on phenomenological studies with data collection through interviews, observations, and document studies. The results of the study show five models that have been implemented, namely the Developmental-Based Sexual Education Model, the Qur'anic Literacy Sexual Education Model, the Family-Centered Sexual Education Model, the Community-Driven Sexual Education Model, and the Tech-Enhanced Sexual Education Model. Physical environment management involves providing safe spaces to prevent violence, while non-physical management focuses on a sensitivity-based approach. The greatest challenge faced is the difficult-to-control influence of technology. Implications of research on awareness to protect children from violence.

Abstract

The industrial revolution 4.0 brought about major changes in the era. These changes target various fields, such as economics and education. This requires people to be ready for all forms of competition. Sunggal Village is one of the Villages in Medan Sunggal District, North Sumatra Province. In this Village, there are many MSME actors. The large number of MSME actors in Sunggal Village certainly has an impact on tight competition. MSME actors are required to be able to maximize all technological advances in order to reach consumers. Departing from these findings, socialization was carried out to the Sunggal Village community about the importance of packaging, logos, and online product marketing in order to increase sales. In addition to carrying out socialization activities to MSME actors, maghrib recitation activities were also carried out in order to increase faith and piety to God Almighty, so that people can stay away from things that can harm themselves and their families in the midst of the development of the era

Abstract

Excessive consumption of sugary drinks can have detrimental effects on health, such as diabetes, obesity, tooth decay, and others. Therefore, it is important to conduct socialization and education regarding the dangers of excessive consumption of sugary drinks, by limiting the consumption of sugary drinks and sugar intake. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method, which is a research process that produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people and observable behaviors, conducted at State Elementary School No. 101946 Bengabing, Pegajahan District. The socialization was carried out in several stages, covering the following aspects: Initial study, Planning, Site observation, Problem identification, Problem-solving, Developing materials, Implementation/presentation, Final activity report, Presentation of the final activity report, Evaluation of results. The research subjects in this socialization numbered 20 people. The results obtained from the socialization are: Increased ability of grade 4 students in choosing healthy drinks to consume. Increased awareness among grade 4 students about sugary drinks, the sugar content in them, and the types of sugary drinks consumed by grade 4 students in excess.

Abstract

Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) merupakan suatu upaya pembinaan yang ditunjukkan kepada anak sejak lahir sampai usia 6 tahun yang dilakukan melalui rangsangan pendidikan untuk membantu pertumbuhan dan perkembangan jasmani dan rohani agar anak memiliki kesiapan belajar dalam memasuki pendidikan lebih lanjut. Pendidikan nilai-nilai agama dan moral pada program PAUD merupakan fondasi yang kokoh dan sangat penting keberadaannya, dan jika hal itu telah tertanam dengan baik dalam setiap insan sejak dini, hal tersebut merupakan awal yang baik bagi pendidikan anak bangsa untuk menjalani pendidikan selanjutnya. Dalam meningkatkan penanaman nilai agama dan moral pada anak usia dini perlu adanya beberapa metode. Tujuan dari penelitian in adalah untuk meningkatkan penanaman nilai agama dan moral pada anak usia dini di PAUD Rahva melalui metode bercerita. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang melibatkan dua orang guru di kelas B. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan cara reduksi data, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode bercerita tentang kisah Nabi dan Rasul di PAUD Rahva dapat meningkatkan penanaman nilai agama dan moral anak usia dini

Abstract

This community service aims to provide education on preventing juvenile delinquency in the school environment, specifically in class XI 2 of SMAN 13 Medan, North Sumatra, Indonesia. From the community service activities where the implementation of the MKWK program class of 2025 Al-Washliyah Muslim Nusantara University, Medan, North Sumatra, Indonesia. The conclusions obtained include: through this educational activity it is hoped that it can provide insight into the impact of juvenile delinquency. With this education it is hoped that delinquency among teenagers will be reduced and provide them with insight into the impacts that will occur from each juvenile delinquency they commit, so that it can create a safe school environment to encourage better future planning. This activity was carried out through counseling, simulation of cases/types of juvenile delinquency, and interactive discussions between us UMN students as resource persons and students. In addition, students were given a complete ppt about juvenile delinquency as well as its types and solutions. Students were also given time to write and tell what they experienced during school. The resource person also provided efforts and solutions in preventing juvenile delinquency and gave a small prize to students who had written and told their story in front of the class. Obstacles that arose included the difficulty of coordinating meeting times with the administration administrators in submitting correspondence.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance students’ awareness and understanding of juvenile delinquency prevention strategies in an effort to develop a healthy and high-quality generation through the roles of family, school, and society. The activity was carried out in the form of an educational socialization program using lecture, discussion, and question-and-answer methods. The materials presented covered the definition of juvenile delinquency, its types, contributing factors, negative impacts, and prevention strategies applicable in school and family settings. The participants consisted of 29 students from Grade XII MIPA 1 at SMA Swasta Eria Medan. The results indicate an improvement in students’ understanding of the dangers of juvenile delinquency and the importance of self-control and positive peer environments. Active student participation during the sessions reflected a positive response to the program. The prevention strategies emphasized include strengthening character education, improving communication between students, teachers, and parents, and fostering a supportive social environment. This activity concludes that collaboration among family, school, and community plays a strategic role in reducing juvenile delinquency and shaping morally responsible and high quality youth.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan penjelasan tentang bagaimana dan apa saja macam – macam pengaruh lingkungan terhadap jati diri siswa tepatnya di kelas XII-5 SMAN 21 Medan, Sumatera Utara, Indonesia. Dari kegiatan pengabdian yang telah dilakukan, dimana untuk pelaksanaan tugas MKWK angkatan 2025 Universitas Muslim Nusantara Al-Washliyah, Medan, Sumatera Utara, Indonesia. Berdasarkan hasil pengabdian yang telah dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa lingkungan keluarga, lingkungan sekolah, dan lingkungan pergaulan memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap pembentukan jati diri siswa. Lingkungan keluarga yang harmonis dan suportif memberikan dasar yang kuat bagi perkembangan emosional dan sosial siswa. Lingkungan sekolah, melalui interaksi dengan guru dan teman sebaya serta kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, berperan penting dalam mengembangkan minat, bakat, dan keterampilan sosial siswa. Sementara itu, lingkungan pergaulan, terutama teman sebaya dapat memengaruhi perilaku dan pandangan siswa terhadap diri sendiri. Ketiga lingkungan ini saling berinteraksi dan memengaruhi satu sama lain dalam membentuk jati diri siswa. Oleh karena itu, penting bagi semua pihak, termasuk orang tua, guru, dan masyarakat, untuk bekerja sama menciptakan lingkungan yang positif dan suportif bagi siswa agar mereka dapat tumbuh dan berkembang menjadi individu yang berkarakter, bertanggung jawab, berdaya saing, serta mampu memberikan kontribusi positif bagi masyarakat.

Abstract

Kata-kata "Maaf," "Tolong," "Terima Kasih," dan "Permisi," yang sering disebut sebagai "kata ajaib," memiliki peran penting dalam membangun karakter dan etika sosial anak usia dini (Anriani, 2024). Artikel ini mengeksplorasi implementasi dan dampak penggunaan kata ajaib di lingkungan pendidikan dan keluarga. Berdasarkan observasi di sekolah RA raudatussolihin medan johor penerapan konsisten kata-kata ini meningkatkan rasa hormat, empati, dan kemampuan komunikasi yang sopan. Peran keluarga sangat penting dalam membiasakan penggunaan kata ajaib di rumah, dengan konsistensi dan dukungan sebagai faktor utama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi implementasi "empat kata ajaib" maaf, tolong, terima kasih, dan permisi dalam pembentukan karakter anak usia dini. Metode pengabdian masyarakat ini digunakan untuk menggali interaksi antara guru, dan siswa serta dampak penggunaan kata-kata ini dalam aktivitas sehari-hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembiasaan kata-kata ini mendukung pembentukan karakter positif anak dan menginternalisasi nilai-nilai moral yang kuat. Penggunaan konsisten dari empat kata ini dapat meningkatkan etika sosial dan perilaku sopan santun pada anak. Pendekatan melalui lagu "4 kata ajaib" terbukti efektif dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai positif, karena anak-anak lebih mudah menerima dan mengingat melalui nyanyian. Selain itu, pembiasaan penggunaan kata-kata tersebut dalam interaksi sehari-hari di sekolah membantu anak memahami pentingnya etika dalam berkomunikasi. Dengan demikian, implementasi empat kata ajaib merupakan strategi efektif dalam pendidikan karakter anak sejak usia dini. Metode pengabdian masyarakat digunakan untuk menggali interaksi antara guru, dan siswa serta dampak penggunaan kata-kata ini dalam aktivitas sehari-hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembiasaan kata-kata ini mendukung pembentukan karakter positif anak dan menginternalisasi nilai-nilai moral yang kuat.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how to improve children's language skills through storytelling methods with ritatoon media for children aged 5-6 years at Qaireen PAUD. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) that uses the Kemmis and Mc Tanggart model. The subjects of this study were 20 children, consisting of 10 boys and 10 girls. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation of improving children's language skills through storytelling methods with ritatoon media, teacher and child activities and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Based on the results of the study, it is known that there is an increase in children's language skills through storytelling methods with ritatoon media. This is known from the average child who gets the level of achievement of children developing as expected (BSH) and developing very well (BSB) in the Pre-Cycle with an average percentage of 8.75%, then in Cycle I the level of achievement of children developing as expected (BSH) and developing very well (BSB) with an average percentage of 53.75%, so we can see an increase in Pre-cycle to Cycle I by (45%) However, in cycle I it has not developed well so it is continued to Cycle II. The level of achievement of children developing as expected (BSH) and developing very well (BSB) Cycle II with an average percentage of 95%. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that ritatoon media can improve the language skills of children aged 5-6 years. The increase occurred, because in telling stories using ritatoon which had not previously been applied in the school, big ritatoon special characteristics are colorful, interesting pictures, as well as words that can be repeated, have predictable properties, and are fun.
