Abstract

This study aims to examine the educational thinking of Sheikh al-'U'ṡaimin related to educational institutions and systems and their relevance to contemporary Islamic education. The research method used is the character study research method. This research is library research with qualitative type. The research data was obtained from the works of Sheikh al-'U'aimin and the works of others related to Sheikh al-'U'aimin. In analyzing the existing data, an interpretation method is adopted, namely an effort to achieve a correct understanding of the facts, data and symptoms. The final result of this research shows that the Sheikh proposed a new educational pattern formulation. The purpose of education according to the Shaykh is to eliminate the ignorance of students and society in general and obtain happiness in the world and the hereafter and maintain the religion of Allah. The educator is a noble profession that demands good competence and a sense of responsibility for the development of the potential of students. Meanwhile, successful students are those who adorn themselves with noble manners and morals and are consistent in treading the path of the claimant of knowledge. As for the method of education, an educator is expected to have creativity in teaching so that students feel comfortable.

Abstract

This study aims to see the role of the Taklim Council in countering radical ideas centered on mosques which have recently been rampant in the city of Medan. The mosque is a house of worship as well as a place for the transmission of knowledge as well as a center for social activities for Muslims, one of the institutions that often uses mosques as a place for transmitting knowledge is the Taklim Council. This type of research is a qualitative research that is descriptive research. The results of this study are: 1. The efforts of the Ministry of Religion of Medan City in fostering the Taklim Council in Medan, include the following: 1) Providing Legal Status, 2) Guiding the Taklim Council by Non-PNS Religious Counselors in the form of: (1) Administrative coaching, ( 2) Religious Development. 2. The pattern of community empowerment managed by the taklim assembly in Medan , including: First, strengthening in the management of the Mosque Welfare Board (BKM). Second, the implementation of the Da'wah of the Muballigh (lecturers) through the determination of lecture material. Third, fundraising from members of the BKM / Taklim Council and the congregation of the mosque in general. Fourth, inventory management in the form of facilities and infrastructure owned by BKM / Taklim Council within the framework of community empowerment. Fifth, consolidation of BKM administrators and mosque congregations. Sixth, strengthening BKM as a formal institution

Abstract

Abstrak: Peredaran dan penyalahgunaan narkoba semakin marak dan mengkhawatirkan. Tidak hanya di wilayah perkotaan namun sudah masuk pedesaan. Hal ini menjadikan desa merupakan wilayah strategis dalam peredaran narkoba. Kegiatan penyuluhan agama akan dampak narkoba bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan penguatan terhadap para remaja, karena remaja adalah cikal bakal dalam kemajuan desa. Mitra dari kegiatan ini adalah warga desa Tanjung Rejo yang terdiri dari remaja, perangkat desa dan orang tua yang berjumlah 26 orang. Kegiatan penyuluhan agama memiliki 4 tahapan yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi dan tindak lanjut. Kemudian hasil dari penyuluhan ini adanya peningkatan pengetahuan peserta yaitu berupa pemahaman akan jenis narkoba sebanyak 50 persen, dampak laten dari narkoba sebanyak 35 persen, Langkah-langkah pencegahan narkoba sebanyak 55 persen dan ayat-ayat tentang keharaman narkoba dari sebanyak 45 persen, Kemudian penyuluhan juga diberikan agar terdapat peningkatan pemahaman akan bahaya narkoba oleh remaja, perangkat desa dan orang tua, kemudian adanya penguatan keimanan bahwa narkoba adalah zat haram dikonsumsi, hal ini merupakan cita-cita bersama untuk mewujudkan Desa Tangguh, Mandiri dan Terdepan.Abstract: Trafficking and drug abuse are increasingly widespread and worrying. Not only in urban areas but also in rural areas. This makes the village a strategic area in drug trafficking. Religious counseling activities on the effects of drugs aim to provide knowledge and strengthen youth, because youth are the forerunners of village progress. The partners of this activity were residents of Tanjung Rejo village consisting of 26 youths, village officials and parents. Religious counseling activities have 4 stages, namely preparation, implementation, evaluation and follow-up. Then the result of this counseling is an increase in participant knowledge, namely in the form of an understanding of the types of drugs by 50 percent, the latent effects of drugs by 35 percent, Drug prevention measures by 55 percent and verses about the prohibition of drugs by 45 percent, Then counseling also given so that there is an increase in understanding of the dangers of drugs by teenagers, village officials and parents, then there is a strengthening of the belief that drugs are illegal substances to consume, this is a shared goal to create a village Tough, Independent and Forefront.

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Balai Diklat Keagamaan Medan with the aim of evaluating the Madrasah teacher competency improvement program in substantive technical training for the preparation of the RPP for Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teachers. This type of research is qualitative research using the CIPP (context, input, process and product) evaluation model which focuses on core questions, namely the context of the Madrasah teacher competency improvement program, the input conditions for the Madrasah teacher competency improvement program, the process conditions for the improvement program. Madrasah teacher competencies and product conditions in the Madrasah teacher competency improvement program.The results of this study consisted of 4 components. First. The context dimension is the analysis of the legal basis criteria, that every education and training must have a legal umbrella including Regulation of the Minister of Religion 10 of 2018 concerning amendments to PMA No. 59 of 2015 concerning the Organization and Work Procedure of the Education and Training Center and the Criteria for the Analysis of the Education and Training Organization, that the education and training organization that manages the education and training activities has a legal basis and also has a legal basis at work, the education and training organization is a transition of responsibility from the Kasi to the training committee. Educational and Religious Technical Staff were then given a Letter of Appointment (SK).Second. The input dimension is the availability of reliable resources such as lecturers / teaching staff, the availability of adequate facilities and infrastructure for training participants, the availability of state-borne funding. Third. The process dimension, namely the implementation of the training program as planned, the widyaswara / teaching staff master the training material presented, the lecturers master the learning method in delivering the material, the lecturers use learning media in presenting the material, the training participants create study groups, practical training participants make RPP. Fourth. Product dimensions.  namely teachers do not understand core competencies and basic competencies in lesson plans, teachers can formulate indicators, teachers are able to formulate learning objectives, teachers can determine learning methods, teachers can arrange learning activities, teachers can formulate learning resources and media, teachers can formulate assessments in learning.

Abstract

Peranan orang tua dalam mengembangkan kecerdasan emosional sangatlah diperlukan untuk perkembangan anak disetiap usianya oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1.) upaya-upaya apa saja yang dilakukan orang tua dalam mengembangkan kecerdasan emosional anak 2.) mengetahui aspek apa saja yang dikembangkan dalam keluarga 3.) Mengetahui faktor penghambat dan pendukung dalam mengembangkan kecerdasan emosional anak dalam keluarga. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi, adapun desain yang digunakan adalah studi lapangan (riset), Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, obserasi/pengamatan dan dokumentasi sedangkan untuk analisisnya, penulis menggunakan teknik analisis diskriptif kualitatif yaitu berupa data-data yang tertulis atau lisan dari orang dan perilaku yang diamati, dalam hal ini peneliti berupaya mengadakan penelitian yang bersifat menggambarkan secara menyeluruh keadaan yang sebenarnya. Dari hasil penelitian maka dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa upaya-upaya yang dilkaukan orang tua dalam mengembangkan kecerdasan emosional anak dalam keluarga di perkampungan KODAM I/BB Medan Sunggal berpengaruh besar pada perilaku dan pendidikan yang diberikan oleh orang tua sejak awal masa pertumbuhan anak, sehingga ketika anak beranjak dewasa dapat mengelola emosi dengan baik, dan upaya lainnya yang dilakukan orang tua dengan membuat jadwal khusus bersama anak, memotivasi anak dan membimbing anak.

Abstract

This study aims 1) To describe the values contained in the Quran surah Al-Hadi d, and 2) To scribe the relevance of the educational values contained in surah Al-Hadid to contemporary education. This study uses qualitative methods, and this research concerns the concept of education in the Quran. The approach used is the approach of education and interpretation through the verses of the Quran. This research focuses on surah Al-Hadi d in the Quran. The object of this study to the Quran, the approach used is the method of interpretation with tahlili, which is supported by the maudhu'i method. The results showed that: 1. Education values contained in the Quran in the Surah Al-Hadid consisting of 29 verses are as follows: 1) Praying for charity, 2) Commands of faith in Allah, 3) Prohibition of being arrogant, 4) Uphold justice, 5) Prompts for forgiveness, 6) Prohibition of miserly behavior / stingy, 7) Prompts in the form of punishment, 8) Reward in the form of rewards, 9) Nature of life in the world, 10) Trust in qadha and qadar, 11) Glorify Allah Almighty at all times, 12) Prayers of remembrance (remember Allah S.W.T.), 13) The virtue of the grace of Allah, 14) Book as a guide, 15) Prohibition of hypocrites. 2. The overall relevance illustrates the independence of education, justice, and humility in the assembly, which contains moral messages and lessons to be implemented in daily life that are sourced from the Quran, especially in today's era which is always related to increasingly complex crimeElitist education, excellent schools/madrasas.

Abstract

Al-Mau'iẓat is one of the methods used in learning Islamic education. The purpose of this research is to know the concept of al-Mau'iẓat in the Koran and explain how the relevance of the concept of al-Mau'iẓat in Islamic education is expected to add insight into Islamic education. Research by the author is including qualitative research and when collecting data using descriptive and Mawdhu'i methods. The results of this study will be collected and analyzed data and look for relevance in Islamic education. This data will be presented in the descriptive form in the form of sentences. The conclusion is that al-Mau'iẓat is a method that is interpreted as advice used in Islamic Education, and al-mau'iẓat should be done in a kind and gentle manner.

Abstract

Living Quran dan Hadis (Alquran dan Hadis yang hidup) adalah resepsi dan respon masyarakat dalam praktik makna Alquran dalam kehidupan masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini ingin melihat bagaimana studi living Alquran dan Hadis di Pesantren Darul Arafah Raya dan apa saja nilai-nilai pendidikan di lingkungan Pesantren Darul Arafah Raya. Penelitian lapangan (Field research) ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yang sifatnya deskriptif dengan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Pesantren Darularafah Raya. Adapun hasil penelitian ini (1) Studi living Alquran di Pesantren Darul Arafah Raya di antaranya adalah: Alquran dibaca rutin dan diajarkan di tempat-tempat ibadah, Alquran senantiasa dihafalkan, potongan ayat Alquran dikutip dan dibentuk kaligrafi, dan Ayat-ayat Alquran dibaca oleh para qari, (2) Studi living hadis di Pesantren Darul Arafah Raya melestarikan otentitas tradisi tulisan, tradisi lisan, dan tradisi praktik. (3) Nilai-nilai pendidikan di lingkungan Pesantren Darul Arafah Raya berupa nilai tauhid, nilai ibadah, nilai akhlak dan Nilai kemasyarakatan

Abstract

The research problem was how the planning, implementation, problems and  solving the problems which supervisor did in improving Islamic  teachers’ pedagogic competencies at Government Junior School 10 Binjai, Binjai City, North Sumatera. The purpose of the study was to describe the planning, implementation, problems and  solving the problems which supervisor did in improving Islamic  teachers’ pedagogic competencies at Government Junior School 10 Binjai, Binjai City, North Sumatera. This research was conducted with qualitative methods. Research data collection was done by using interview, observation and documentation studies. Data analysis was done by using data reduction, data display, and conclusion, that the process took place in a circular during the study.The supervisor’s planning in improving Islamic teachers’ pedagogic competencies at State Junior High School 10 Binjai, Binjai City, North Sumatera conducted in early academic year and involving supervisors, principal, and the teachers. Planning arranged systematically in the Work Plan Trustees.The implementation of improving Islamic teachers’ pedagogic competencies at State Junior High School 10 Binjai, Binjai City, North Sumatera done in two ways: personal approach and group approach. Personal approach consisted of direct class visits, personal meeting and class observation. Group approach consisted of periodical meeting, the empowerment of Islamic Teachers Organization and trainings.Problems faced by Supervisor in improving Islamic teachers’ pedagogic competencies at State Junior High School 10 Binjai, Binjai City, North Sumatera were: 1) Technical problems, consisted of urgent unplanned worktrip and the large workfield which reduced meeting intensity with Islamic teachers; and 2) Non technical problems, which consisted of changing of national curriculum and changing of Teaching Plan Form. These several changes caused misunderstood among Islamic teachers.Supervisor solved the problems faced in improving Islamic teachers’ pedagogic competencies at State Junior High School 10 Binjai, Binjai City, North Sumatera by building effective communication with teachers, improving his personal performance and empowering Islamic Teachers Organization monthly.
