Abstract

Background: The prevalence of malnutrition in pregnant women DIY reached 22.69%, while at Sleman amounted to 11.72%. The study has been developed drinks formula derived from beans that contain the nutrient according to the needs of pregnant women.Objective: This study aimed to analyze the influence of red beans, peanuts and soybeans drink formula against the nutritional status of pregnant women.Method: The study design is randomized controlled trial (RCT). The inclusion criteria are pregnant women with chronic energy deficiency and gestational age between 14-28 weeks. The research locations in 8 health centers in Sleman with total sample of 84 people. Data obtained by measuring LILA and pregnant women weight before and after being given a drink formula. Data analysis using Chi-Square, paired t-test and Wilcoxon.Results: There was differences between the increase of weight and LILA pregnant women in the treatment group was higher than controls (p<0.005). Increase of BB and LILA on the three groups there is a difference (p<0.001). Based on measurements of nutritional status of pregnant women showed that significant effect giving peanuts formula compared to red beans and soy bean formula that does not significantly (p<0.001). Groups of pregnant women who get peanuts formula showed increased protein intake above the standard of 67 g and a total energy of 2260 calorie.Conclusion: Nutritional status of pregnant women who get the peanut formula higher than by red beans, soy beans, and formula for pregnant women. Pregnant women who received peanuts formula have higher energy and protein intake than the other formulas.

Abstract

The differences of nutritional status of 6-9 months old infant given factory-made and homemade complementary foodsBackground: The nutritional status of 6-9 months old babies depend on the amount of nutrition acquired from breastmilk and complementary food. The incorrect feeding of complementary food may contribute to poor nutritional status. Objective: This study aims to illustrate the nutritional status of factory-made and homemade complementary food, and analyze the difference in the nutritional status of infants given factory-made and homemade complementary food.Methods: This is an analytic, observational, and cross-sectional study, conducted in seven villages within the scope of Puskesmas Jatinangor, Jatinangor Sub-district, Sumedang Regency in August-October 2018. The samples were 102 babies 6-9 months old obtained through total sampling. The variables of this study include the type of complementary food, and infant nutritional status with weight for age, length for age, and weight for height index.Results: Complementary food consumption is dominated by factory-made type (69.6%). Macronutrients which are energy and protein and micronutrients which are vitamins from both types of complementary food already fulfill the daily recommended dietary allowances for babies, except for minerals which are calcium, iron, and zinc. Chi-Square test results showed an insignificant difference in the nutritional status of babies (p=0,881 for BW/A; p=0.194 for BH/A; and p=0,599 for BW/BH) based on the type of complementary food given.Conclusions: Nutritional contents of macro and micronutrients from both types of complementary food have fulfilled the recommended dietary allowances for complementary food, except for the minerals calcium, iron, and zinc. There wasn’t a considerable difference in nutritional status between those acquired through factory-made and homemade complementary food.

Abstract

Saat ini kasus gizi buruk dan gizi kurang masih sangat tinggi bahkan mengalami peningkatan dari tahun ke tahun, di Kota Tangerang gizi buruk pada tahun 2013 sebanyak 1,43%, salah satu upaya penanggulangan gizi buruk di Kota Tangerang adalah program pos gizi dengan menggunakan pendekatan positive deviance. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peranan program pos gizi dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan, pola asuh, dan dampaknya terhadap peningkatan status gizi balita di Tangerang. Desain penelitian menggunakan observation dengan rancangan penelitian prospektif, dengan pengambilan sampel secara total sampling dengan sampel berjumlah 60 balita malnutrisi. Variabel yang diamati meliputi pengetahuan, pola asuh ibu serta status gizi balita selama 24 hari, analisis data dilakukan dengan membandingkan variabel-variabel tersebut pada sebelum dan sesudah mengikuti program pos gizi dengan menggunakan uji Wilcoxon, Mann Whitney, Kruskal Wallis, dan Chi Kuadrat. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan skor pengetahuan ibu meningkat dari 80 menjadi 92 (p<0,001) dan skor pola asuh meningkat dari 71 menjadi 81 (p<0,001), dan status gizi balita mengalami peningkatan dilihat dari sebelum pengamatan nilai median Z-Score BB/TB dari -2,32 menjadi -1,8 setelah pengamatan (p<0,001). Simpulan penelitian ini adalah program pos gizi meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu, pola asuh ibu, dan status gizi balita.

Abstract

Chronic energy deficiency (CED) has a major impact on maternal health. Screening is carried out to prevent the risk of CED for the mother before and during pregnancy by measuring the upper arm circumference (MUAC). This study aims to explore, validate and analyze the sensitivity and specificity of the MUAC mobile application. his research is expected to help health cadres in measuring the MUAC of pregnant women. This study uses a mixed-method with a sequential exploratory strategy with a purposive sampling technique. Exploration was carried out on 3 nutritionists and 7 Posyandu cadres. Data collection was done using of in-depth interviews. The feasibility test was conducted on 5 informatics experts, 5 nutritionists and 30 Posyandu cadres using a questionnaire. Mobile apps sensitivity and specificity test LILA was performed on 37 pregnant women purposively and analyzed using Stata software. Mobile apps model exploration results MUAC for pregnant women consists of content, design, measurement techniques and accuracy. Expert test results and user tests show mobile apps MUAC pregnant women are valid and reliable. The results of the sensitivity test (91.2%) and specificity (33.3%). Mobile apps models MUAC for pregnant women was developed based on user needs. Mobile apps MUAC for pregnant women has very good sensitivity and poor specificity. Further research is required to conduct similar studies to obtain better sensitivity and specificity results.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Jumlah ibu hamil yang mengalami kecemasan cenderung meningkat, hal ini mempengaruhi outcome persalinan serta kesehatan fisik dan mental janin. Hypnobirthing adalah salah satu mind-body intervention untuk mengurangi rasa cemas, takut, panik, dan tegang saat kehamilan dan persalinan. Tujuan: untuk mengekplorasi persepsi atau tanggapan hypnobirthing sebagai mind-body intervention dalam memper-siapkan persalinan dan kelahiran. Metode: Rancangan kualitatif dengan strategi fenomenologi, dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara mendalam. Sampel kualitatif dilakukan secara purposive sampling terhadap 17 informan. Penelitian dilakukan di wilayah Puskesmas Mergang-san, Jetis, dan Tegalrejo Kota Yogyakarta pada bulan Januari sampai April 2014, analisis data kualitatif dengan analisis konten. Hasil: Kelas hypnobirthing mengurangi nyeri, mempersingkat persalinan kala I dan kala II, menurunkan perasaan tegang, khawatir mengalami hal buruk, ketakutan, gugup, gelisah, ragu–ragu, khawatir dan bingung, serta menin-gkatkan perasaan puas, percaya diri, santai, bermakna, mantap dan senang. Keberhasilan hypnobirthing dalam menurunkan kecemasan dipengaruhi oleh dukungan keluarga, kenyamanan tempat persalinan, sarana relaksasi, dan gangguan ketenangan. Simpulan: Partisipan hipnobirthing merasa terpenuhi kebutuhan fisik, emosional dan spiritual mereka selama ke-hamilan dan persalinan

Abstract

Menganalisis pengaruh pendidikan menggunakan video blog (vlog) terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan, sikap, dan perilaku remaja putri tentang pencegahan anemia gizi besi Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan eksperimen semu dengan desain pre-post test. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada remaja putri yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan memiliki smartphone. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik simple random sampling. Kelompok pertama menerima video blog (vlog) dan kelompok kedua menerima Data yang diperoleh akan dianalisis menggunakan man- whitney.Media Video Blog divalidasi oleh 3 ahli audio visual dan 3 ahli gizi.Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari angket pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku yang diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya terlebih dahulu.U-test, artinya hasil tes ditentukan berdasarkan p value 0,05. Uji pengaruh dan uji beda dilakukan dengan menggunakan SPSS versi 20. Hasil : Hasil skor pretest-postest menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan (p0,001), sikap (p0,001), dan perilaku (p0,001) dalam pencegahan anemia gizi besi setelah intervensi video blog (vlog) dan media booklet. Edukasi menggunakan video blog (vlog) dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku pada remaja putri tentang pencegahan anemia

Abstract

ABSTRACTMother's milk contains nutrients for optimal growth and development, increases body resistance, protects against infection, forms a healthy digestive system, and increases intelligence. The purpose of this study was to determine energy and protein intake in exclusively breastfed breastfeeding mothers in Batununggal District, Bandung CityThis research method uses a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design to look at the food intake of exclusively breastfeeding mothers. Sample calculation using quota sampling. A sample of 44 mothers were obtained who exclusively breastfed. Data was collected using multiple 24 hour recall for 3 days to describe the eating habits of 44 exclusively breastfeeding mothers.The results showed that the intake of energy (61.36%) and protein (59.09%) of breastfeeding mothers was adequate (adequate if ≥ 80%). Adequate energy intake because every morning the average mother consumes sweet tea, eats a large portion of rice compared to the side dishes, eats sweet cake snacks after breastfeeding. Protein intake Mothers consume a lot of types of protein such as tofu and tempeh because they are easy to get, affordable prices and the way to process them is very easy, namely frying.The majority of exclusive breastfeeding mothers in Batununggal District have adequate energy and protein intake. Despite this, there is a need for nutritional education regarding food intake for exclusive breastfeeding mothers so that mothers consume food with balanced nutrition. There is also ongoing monitoring and evaluation of work programs focused on the problem of food intake for breastfeeding mothers. Further research is needed to determine the quality of breast milk from the food intake of breastfeeding mothers which is associated with infant development.Keywords: energy intake, protein intake, nutritional intake of breastfeeding mothers, exclusive breastfeeding mothersABSTRAKAir Susu Ibu mengandung nutrisi untuk pertumbuhan dan perkembangan yang optimal, meningkatkan daya tahan tubuh, melindungi dari infeksi, membentuk sistem pencernaan yang sehat, dan meningkatkan kecerdasan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui asupan energi dan protein pada ibu menyusui asi eksklusif di Kecamatan Batununggal Kota BandungMetode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional untuk melihat asupan makan Ibu menyusui ASI eksklusif. Perhitungan sampel menggunakan quota sampling. Di dapatkan sampel sebanyak 44 ibu yang menyusui ASI eksklusif. Data dikumpulkan dengan multiple 24 hour recall selama 3 hari untuk mengetahui gambaran kebiasaan makan pada 44 ibu menyusui ASI eksklusif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, asupan energi (61,36%) dan protein (59,09%) ibu menyusui adekuat (adekuat jika ≥ 80%). Asupan energi adekuat karena setiap pagi rata-rata ibu mengonsumsi teh manis, memakan nasi dengan porsi yang banyak dibanding dengan lauknya, memakan camilan kue manis setelah ibu menyusui. Asupan protein Ibu banyak mengkonsumsi jenis protein seperti tahu dan tempe karena mudah didapat, harga terjangkau dan cara pengolahannya sangat mudah yaitu digoreng.Mayoritas ibu menyusui ASI eksklusif di Kecamatan Batununggal memiliki asupan energi dan protein yang adekuat. Meskupun demikian hal ini, perlu adanya edukasi gizi mengenai asupan makan Ibu menyusui ASI eksklusi agar ibu mengkonsumsi makanan dengan gizi seimbang. Diadakan juga monitoring dan evaluasi yang berkelanjutan terhadap program kerja yang difokuskan pada masalah asupan makan ibu menyusui. Perlu penelitian lebih lanjut untuk mengetahui kualitas ASI dari asupan makan Ibu menyusui yang dihubungkan dengan perkembangan bayi.Kata kunci: asupan energi, asupan protein, asupan gizi ibu menyusui, ibu menyusui ASI eksklusif

Abstract

Background: The number of pregnant women experiencing anxiety tends to increase. It affects both maternaland fetal outcome, physically and mentally health of the fetus. Hypnobirthing is a mind-body intervention to reduceanxiety, fear, panic, and tension during pregnancy and childbirth.Objective: To explore perception or hypnobirthing response as mind-body intervention in preparing for labor andbirth.Method: Qualitative design with phenomenology strategy, done with in-depth interview technique. The qualitativesample was conducted by purposive sampling on 17 informants. The research was conducted in Mergangsan,Jetis, and Tegalrejo District of Yogyakarta City from January to April 2014, analyzing qualitative data with contentanalysis.Results: Class hypnobirthing reduces pain, shortens labor stage I and stage II, lowers feelings of tension, worriesbad, fear, nervous, anxious, hesitant, worried and confused, and increase feelings of satisfaction, self-confidence,relaxed, meaningful, steady and happy.The success of hypnobirthing in reducing anxiety is influenced by family support, birthplace comfort, relaxationfacilities, and disturbance of tranquilityConclusion: hypnobirthing participants feel fulfilled their physical, emotional and spiritual needs during pregnancyand childbirthKeywords: The class hypnobirthing, childbirth anxiety

Abstract

Anemia lebih sering terjadi pada remaja khususnya pada negara berkembang dan kekurangan zat besi merupakan penyebab paling utama yang memengaruhi 50% anemia pada perempuan. Daun kelor mengandung zat gizi makornutrien dan mikronutrien yang tinggi dan dapat meminimalkan risiko anemia. Tujuan dari riset ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh ekstrak daun kelor dalam meningkatkan kadar hemoglobin pada remaja perempuan. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian systematic review dan meta analisis dengan metode Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses Protocols (PRISMA-P) yang dilakukan secara sistematis dengan mengikuti tahapan atau protokol penelitian yang benarserta hanya menggunakan studi primer dari penelitian Kuantitatif Quasi Eksperimental. Hasil meta analisis Z sebesar 2.32 dengan p value adalah 0.02 menunjukkan p value < level of significance (?=0.05) dan didapatkan juga mean difference sebesar -2.39 pada 95% confident interval antara [-4.41; -0.38]. Karena pada 95% confident interval tidak memuat titik nol yang menyatakan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan rata-rata kadar hemoglobin antara grup experimental dengan grup kontrol dari keseluruhan studi. Kesimpulan riset ini terdapat pengaruh ekstrak daun kelor dalam meningkatkan kadar hemoglobin pada remaja perempuan. Diharapkan bagi orang tua yang memiliki anak remaja perempuan menyediakan makanan dengan bahan dasar daun kelor untuk memenuhi kebutuhan gizi agar tidak terjadi ataupun mengobati anemia pada remaja perempuan.

Abstract

Background: Improper nutritional intake during adolescence can cause health problems, such as: impaired physical growth, increased risk of iron deficiency (Iron Deficiency Anemia), decreased intellectual capacity, impaired bone health, impaired sexual organ function, impaired concentration and performance at school, eating disorders and obesity, as well as malnutrition, but teenagers' knowledge about nutrition is very limited. Teenagers easily adapt to digital literacy. Providing digital interventions can have a positive impact on various aspects of health so that efforts to empower teenagers through increasing health promotion and early detection of adolescent health problems digitally are growing rapidly. Aim: The aim of this research is to explore the needs of young women for Android-based nutritional and reproductive health educational applications. Method: The qualitative research method is in-depth interviews via the Zoom application, WhatsApp video call, or WhatsApp voice call. Result: The results of qualitative research show that young women prefer educational media that is easy and fast in providing health information so that educational efforts via smartphones, namely Android-based applications, are an effective solution in providing precise and accurate information about nutritional intake and reproductive health. Keywords: Reproductive Health, Young Women, Application
