Abstract

The scale of measuring academic resilience in a decade has experienced rapid development. Numerous instruments have been formulated by previous researchers, but it has not explicitly measured the academic resilience for preservice teachers. The purpose is to construct a new measure of academic resilience for preservice teachers, which consists of two stages: the validity and reliability of the instrument; and continued with differences in academic resilience for preservice teachers among the fields of social, science, and language. Measurement instruments were given to lectures (eight experts) and students (n=236) from various universities in Medan, Indonesia. The content validity used V-Aiken, and construct validity used confirmatory factor analysis; reliability using the interclass correlation coefficient and internal consistency reliability. The results show that the constructs of composure, commitment, control, coordination, empathy, perseverance, and adaptive have excellent and accurate validity and reliability to measure academic resilience. The findings are specific that there are significant differences in the academic resilience for preservice teachers among field of sciences. Researchers imply that they can use these instruments appropriate and responsive to academic resilience for preservice teachers highlighting among the sciences' domain so that future research can be carried out to explore these differences.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) menyusun model pembelajaran kewirausahaan berbasis proyek dan (2) menguji efektifitas model pembelajaran kewirausahaan berbasis proyek untuk menumbuhkan semangat wirausaha mahasiswa pada program studi pendidikan ekonomi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah research development model DBR (Design Based Research) dari Reeves (2006). Hasil penelitian adalah (1) perbaikan model pembelajaran kewirausahaan dengan menyeimbangkan antara teori dan praktik, pembelajaran lebih diarahkan pada praktikum yang aplikatif, dan mewujudkan tujuan program studi yaitu menghasilkan lulusan yang memiliki semangat wirausaha; (2) pengembangan desain dan prototipe terdiri dari tiga komponen yaitu tujuan pembelajaran, metode pembelajaran, dan penilaian; (3) uji validasi oleh ahli pendidikan, kewirausahaan, dan uji terbatas menunjukkan tujuan pembelajaran, isi materi, dan sajian telah sesuai dengan konten/ isi, perwajahan, dan kebahasaan; (4) uji produk menggunakan kelas eksperimen yang ditentukan berdasarkan gaya belajar mahasiswa, mayoritas mahasiswa memiliki gaya belajar akomodator, hasil penilaian portofolio menunjukkan mahasiswa memiliki nilai sangat baik dan baik, produk yang dihasilkan oleh kelompok kerja mahasiswa sesuai dengan gaya belajar, dan uji keefektifan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran kewirausahaan berbasis proyek mampu menumbuhkan semangat wirausaha mahasiswa dengan sangat baik. Kata kunci: kewirausahaan, pembelajaran berbasis proyek, semangat wirausaha

Abstract

The purpose of this research (1) condition of students’ participation in the business center, parental role, self-efficacy, and student entrepreneur willingness, (2) influence of student participation in the business center, parental role, and self-efficacy partially to student entrepreneur willingness, (3) the influence of participation in the business center, parental role, and self-efficacy on student entrepreneurship willingness, and (4) difference entrepreneur willingness for the first year and second-year students. This study is a comparative causal and technique of collecting data using questionnaire. The result of this research (1) students’ participation in Business Center have high categorized and positively and significantly influence to willingness, (2) parental role is a very high categorical student and have the positive and significant influence to student entrepreneurship willingness, (3) self-efficacy of the high categorized student, but not positively and significantly influence to intent entrepreneurship, (4) willingness of entrepreneurship is very high categorize, (5) students’ participation in Business Center and parental role simultaneously has positively and significantly influence on willingness, (6) there is a difference of willingness of student entrepreneur for the first year students with second year students, (7) there is no difference in student participation in Business Center for the first year and second year students, (8) there is a difference of parental role of first year and second year students, and (9) there no difference of self-efficacy for the first year with second year students.

Abstract

This research aims to develop instructional media which is tested its feasibility and piloted in learning activities. The instructional media is developed using online builder Appypie with DCE developed-model. The product assessment is conducted by material expert, media expert and testing in a small and big group.The instrument of collected data is conducted by interviewing, questionnaire and test. The results of this research are: The instructional media product, mobile learning based android, has been using online builde Appypie, instructional media is feasible to apply after obtaining assessment result from material and media expert and users, The  learning outcomes increases significantly between students with and without using instructional media. In summary, developed instructional media is feasible  to app;y in a learning activity.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to know the difference of critical thinking ability of experiment class students using inquiry strategy based multiliteracies skills with control class using conventional learning. This research was conducted in SMP Negeri 1 Meulaboh. The subjects of the study were the students of class VIII with the sample of class VIII-A and VIII-B which amounted to 54 students. This type of research is quasi experimental with nonequivalent control group design. The result of the research showed (1) the improvement of students 'critical thinking ability with moderate qualification after receiving treatment with multiliteration skills based inquiry strategy, (2) there is a significant difference of students' critical thinking ability in the experimental class and control class. Based on the results of the research that has been proposed, the inquiry strategy based multiliteracies skills is recommended for the use of IPS teachers in improving students' critical thinking ability.Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan strategi pembelajaran inkuiri berbasis keterampilan multiliterasi dengan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 1 Meulaboh. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII dengan sampel kelas VIII-A dan VIII-B yang berjumlah 54 siswa. Jenis penelitian adalah quasi experimental dengan rancangan nonequivalent control group design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) terjadinya peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dengan kualifikasi sedang setelah menerima treatment dengan strategi pembelajan inkuiri berbasis keterampilan multiliterasi, (2) terdapat perbedaan secara signifikan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dikemukakan, maka strategi pembelajaran inkuiri berbasis keterampilan multiliterasi direkomendasikan untuk digunakan guru IPS dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to determine the performance of industrial marketing in Malang City. This research method with a quantitative approach. The population is 200 entrepreneurs of tempe chips in the Sanan Tempe Chip Industry Center, Malang City. The research sample is 151 respondents taken by purposive sampling. Data analysis with partial last square analysis technique. Research findings prove that marketing performance is influenced by market orientation, learning orientation, and product innovation. The suggestions given include, a) always taking strategic steps according to the needs of customers. Committed to continuous learning and innovating to improve its marketing performance; b) always regularly conduct gatherings in the context of deliberation and determine business strategies that must be improved and are always committed to providing training for tempe chip craftsmen in Sanan so they can always develop them products more good.Abstrak: Tujuan studi ini untuk mengetahui kinerja pemasaran industri di Kota Malang. Metode penelitian ini dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi sebesar 200 Pelaku usaha keripik tempe di Sentra Industri Keripik Tempe Sanan Kota Malang. Sampel penelitian yaitu berjumlah 151 responden yang diambil secara purposive sampling. Analisis data dengan teknik analisis partial last square. Temuan penelitian membuktikan bahwa kinerja pemasaran dipengaruhi oleh orientasi pasar, orientasi pembelajaran dan inovasi produk. Saran yang diberikan diantaranya, a) senantiasa mengambil langkah-langkah strategi sesuai kebutuhan para pelanggan. Berkomitmen untuk terus belajar dan berinovasi guna meningkatkan kinerja pemasarannya; b) senantiasa rutin melakukan perkumpulan dalam rangka musyawarah serta menentukan strategi-strategi bisnis yang harus ditingkatkan dan senantiasa berkomitmen memberikan pelatihan-pelatihan terhadap para pengarajin keripik tempe di Sanan agar dapat selalu mengembangkan produk mereka menjadi semakin lebih baik.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to examine whether there are direct and indirect influence of full day school and school literacy movement on learning outcomes through student learning motivation. This study was an ex post facto by using path analysis. The sample of this study were 99 respondents in five grade of elementary school. The instruments used were questionnaire and test. The result of this study showed that significantly there were direct and indirect influence of full day school and school literacy movement on learning outcomes through learning motivation.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji adanya pengaruh langsung dan tidak langsung program full day school dan gerakan literasi sekolah terhadap hasil belajar siswa melalui motivasi belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah ex post facto dengan menggunakan path analysis. Besar sampel penelitian yaitu 99 responden kelas V SD. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket dan tes. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara signifikan ada pengaruh langsung dan tidak langsung program full day school dan gerakan literasi sekolah terhadap hasil belajar melalui motivasi belajar.

Abstract

This study aims to produce teaching materials that support the implementation of School Literacy Movement Programme to improve the effectiveness and productivity of thematic learning in fourth grade of elementary school students. The product of the developed teaching materials is designed with the literacy as the substance and the framework of TANDUR on Quantum Teaching as its presentation systematics. The research and development method used by Dick & Carey model. The results of the development stage were found: (a) the less effective and productive causes of the fourth-grade students' learning, and (b) the need for literacy-based teaching materials and are characterized by relevant Quantum Teaching. At the development stage generated literature-based thematic students book is characterized by Quantum Teaching and teacher's manual that has been tested feasibility.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengahsilkan bahan ajar yang mendukung Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) untuk meningkatkan efektifitas dan produktivitas pembelajaran tematik kelas IV SD. Produk bahan ajar yang dikembangkan dirancang dengan literasi sebagai substansi dan kerangka perancangan TANDUR pada Quantum Teaching sebagai sistematika penyajiannya. Metode penelitian dan pengembangan yang digunakan adal model Dick & Carey. Hasilnya pada tahap pengembangan ditemukan: (a) penyebab kurang efektif dan produktifnya pembelajaran tematik siswa kelas IV, dan (b) kebutuhan bahan ajar berbasis literasi dan bercirikan Quantum Teaching yang relevan. Pada tahap pengembangan dihasilkan buku siswa dan buku panduan guru tematik berbasis literasi bercirikan Quantum Teaching teruji kelayakannya.

Abstract

Abstract: This research was aimed to strengthen the influence of PBL models on the ability of critical thinking and mastery of the concept of IPA class IV on the material properties of light. This research type is quasy experiment with pretest posttest control group design. The number of IVA and IVB students is 31. The instrument used in the research is the test of critical thinking ability in the form of essay and the question of mastering the concept of IPA in the form of multiple choice. This study obtained the results that the ability of student to predict students` concept of science is higher than the conventional model.Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menguji adanya pengaruh model PBL terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan penguasaan konsep IPA kelas IV pada materi sifat-sifat cahaya. Penelitian menggunakan jenis quasy experimen dengan pretest-posttest. Jumlah siswa kelas IVA dan IVB adalah 31. Instrumen pengukuran yaitu soal tes kemampuan berpikir kritis berupa esai dan soal tes penguasaan konsep IPA berupa pilihan ganda. Penelitian ini memperoleh hasil bahwa kemampuan berpkir krits dan pengasaan konsep IPA siswa yang menerapkan model PBL lebih tinggi dibanding dengan yang dibelajarkan model konvensional.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of (1) learning models on the understanding concepts, scientific attitudes, and students' mathematical problem solving ability which are taught by guided inquiry model and conventional and (2) with different levels of motivation; (3) the interaction between learning model and learning motivation toward those variables. This research is a quasi experiment with non equivalent control group design. The sample is Fourth grade students at SDN Blimbing 01 which amounted to 76 students which determined by purposive sampling technique. The experimental class is Fourth grade students of IV A totaled 38 students , the same amount with the control class namely  Fourth grade students of IV B. The data obtained were analyzed by using two-ways ANAVA. The results of the research are: (1) there is a effect of learning model on the three variables between the experimental class and the control class and (2) there is effect of with different learning motivation on the three variables; (3) there is no interaction between learning model and learning motivation toward those variables.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran terhadap pemahaman konsep, sikap ilmiah, dan kemampuan pemecahahan masalah matematis (1) antara kelompok dengan model inkuiri terbimbing dan konvensional (2) dengan tingkat motivasi belajar yang berbeda; (3) interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan motivasi belajar terhadap variabel. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain non equivalent control grup.  Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SDN Blimbing 01 yang berjumlah 76 siswa. Sampel dipilih melalui teknik sampel bertujuan. Kelas IV A berjumlah 38 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen, dan kelas IV B berjumlah 38 siswa sebagai kelas control. Data dalam penelitian ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan two way ANAVA. Hasil penelitian ini, meliputi (1) ada pengaruhn model pembelajaran terhadap ketiga variabel antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol; (2) ada pengaruh motivasi belajar yang berbeda terhadap ketiga variabel; (3) tidak ada interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan motivasi belajar terhadap variabel tersebut.
