Abstract

This study explores the legal politics of halal tourism in Thailand by highlighting the impact of digital advertising interventions on consumer intent, recommendations, and engagement. Thailand, as a leading global tourist destination, is increasingly expanding its halal tourism sector but faces challenges in aligning the needs of Muslim travelers with effective digital promotion strategies. This research analyzes how digital advertising can influence consumer perceptions and decisions, especially in the contemporary era of globalization and digital transformation. With a qualitative approach, this study uses data from literature studies, interviews with tourism industry players, and analysis of Thai government policies related to halal tourism. The findings show that the right digital advertising interventions can increase Muslim tourists' intention to visit, encourage positive recommendations, and strengthen consumer engagement. In addition, legal policies supporting halal tourism promotion are essential in creating competitive attraction in the global market. The results of this study contribute to the understanding of the political law of halal tourism in Thailand, as well as offer strategic recommendations for the government and industry players to utilize digital advertising in supporting the growth of this sector. The implications of this research are also relevant in building a sustainable halal tourism ecosystem amid the dynamics of the contemporary era.

Abstract

This study explores the effect of co-branding on the purchase intention of collaboration products between Somethinc and Bittersweet by Najla, focusing on perceived value and customer attitude. Using a quantitative approach with data analyzed via PLS-SEM through the SmartPLS 3.2.9 application, the research involved 385 respondents who use Somethinc products. The study supports seven hypotheses regarding investigates how co-branding influences the intention to purchase. Findings indicate that the compatibility of products and brands in co-branding significantly influences consumer purchase intention. Co-branding also positively affects perceived value, with better co-branding leading to higher perceived value among consumers. Additionally, co-branding impacts customer attitude, and both perceived value and customer attitude significantly affect purchase intention for collaboration products. Notably, the direct effect of co-branding on intention to purchase is smaller than the indirect effect through perceived value and customer attitude. This highlights that perceived value and customer attitude are strong intervening variables that moderate the effect of co-branding on intention to purchase. This research provides an understanding that co-branding for different product categories must have compatibility in products, brands, and promotions to target the same segment, so as to increase consumer perceived value and consumer attitudes towards collaboration products, thus influencing consumers to be interested in buying collaboration products.

Abstract

In a tight competition climate among organizations, it is expected that each institution is able to provide excellent service to its customers. In a context of education institution, educators have important roles in developing students' competencies either academically through delivering teaching learning process or through other non-academic activities. To be able to work effectively, they need to have extra-role behaviors. It means that they have to pay attention to students, colleagues, and school organization. In this research, hypothetically, principal leadership is examined as an antecedent variable to organizational learning and its impact to extra-role behavior. Survey was conducted to economic education students who were taking field internship program at schools. Structural equation modeling was employed to analyze casual relationship among variables investigated. Research findings revealed that principal leadership has direct effect to organizational learning and indirect effect to extra-role behavior.

Abstract

Objective: This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of the B-STAD learning model in enhancing problem-solving ability and to analyze the interaction between learning models and students’ self-regulation. Methods : The study employed a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design involving 186 Elementary School Teacher Education students who enrolled in 2022. The researchers used problem-solving ability tests and self-regulation questionnaires as instruments, both tested for validity and reliability. The analysis results revealed a significant difference between the group using the B-STAD model and the control group. The average problem-solving ability score for the B-STAD group reached 78.5, while the control group averaged only 65.3. A two-way ANOVA test produced a p-value of < 0.05, indicating that the B-STAD model significantly improved problem-solving ability. Furthermore, the analysis showed that students’ self-regulation had a correlation coefficient of 0.65 with problem-solving ability, demonstrating a strong positive relationship. Results: The findings conclude that implementing the B-STAD model significantly enhances the problem-solving ability of Elementary School Teacher Education students, with an average increase of 13.2 points compared to traditional learning methods. Conclusion: This study recommends that educators consistently apply the B-STAD model in the learning process while also focusing on developing students’ self-regulation. Therefore, this research provides valuable insights into the effectiveness of innovative learning models for improving educational outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of product innovation and customer engagement on repurchase intention of hijab products in TikTok Shop with brand trust as a mediating variable. The research method uses a quantitative approach with causal research design. The research sample consisted of 228 female employees of PT Pabrik Kertas Tjiwi Kimia who actively shop at TikTok Shop. Data were collected through a Likert-based questionnaire, then analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results showed that product innovation (β = 0.366; p < 0.001) and customer engagement (β = 0.385; p < 0.001) had a significant positive effect on repurchase intention. Both also had a significant effect on brand trust, which in turn had a strong influence on repurchase intention (β = 0.421; p < 0.001). A mediation test demonstrated that brand trust mediated the relationship between product innovation (β = 0.091; p = 0.013) and customer engagement (β = 0.162; p = 0.007) and repurchase intention. This finding indicates that product innovation and consumer engagement need to be integrated with a brand trust-building strategy to increase loyalty and repurchase intention among hijab consumers on the TikTok Shop platform.

Abstract

This research explores various factors that influence the decision of young people in Ponorogo who prefer to work abroad as Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) rather than continuing their education and how the family's economic conditions influence the choice to work overseas rather than continuing their education. This research took a qualitative approach with a grounded research design conducted in Pondok Village, Babadan District, Ponorogo Regency. Data was collected by observation and interviews with informants as many as 10 PMI children with ages ranging from 6-20 years. The data was then analyzed descriptively and qualitatively. The research results show that changes in economic activities give rise to a welfare dilemma for young people in Ponorogo who want to become migrant workers rather than continue their education. These results provide valuable insight into the factors that encourage individuals to choose to work abroad rather than continue their education and provide input for better policies to support the education and economic well-being of families in the region.
