Combustion emissions from millions of exhaust coming out every day would cause problems because the impact on the air quality and the problems of chronic diseases when inhaled by humans. This study wants to reveal the influence of variations in electric voltage to the fuel pump exhaust emissions. The study was conducted using an experimental method, using a form of Post-test Only Control Design. The object being tested is a Toyota Avanza 1.3 GM / T. The voltage should be 12 V, the research varying the voltage to the level of 11 V, 10 V and 9 V. The results obtained, when the voltage is 12 V the average emissions of CO and HC 95.5ppm 0.187%. At a voltage of 11 V emissions down to 0.125% CO and HC 62.5ppm. However, when the voltage is 10V and 9V increased emissions. At 10 V variation 0.245% CO and HC 110.8ppm. At 9 V variation 0.303% CO and HC 139.2ppm.

The use of oxygen sensors on vehicles intended to reduce the harmful content from vehicle exhaust emissions. Research and journal was prepared to find how much reduction can be achieved. Research conducted by the experimental method. This type of machine used is K3-VE engine Avanza. Measurements are performed using the exhaust emission analyzer Fourgas at some level of engine speed. From the research proven when using oxygen sensors decrease harmful content of exhaust emissions. The decline in the percentage of the CO content of 1.86% and the average number of HC ppm reduced the total 258.33ppm.

A system can be modeled using mathematical formulation analysis method. Analysis of the system starts from the value of inputs, processes, noise, and output processes. then sought mathematical approach. This method is very complex, especially for some of the processes that have a higher order. In this article the author tries to discuss a method to perform modeling on a system by using Back Propagation Neural Network method.In the neural network method we require the initial data for network training process. Network training process is intended to gain weight. The weight is then identified with a model system. This paper has demonstrated that the modeling system can be done by the method of back propagation neural network

This research is aim to describe how student use the internet in campus Automotive Engineering Department Padang State University at 2012. Descriptive Research Method was used for this research. Questionnaire was made to obtain the data. Its Questions are about the knowledge of internet facilities and use of the Internet by college students on campus. Questionnaire distributed to 138 respondents. From questionnaire data founded that 84% respondents using campus wifi hotspot for more than two days a week. About 99% of them use the internet to seek learning material to improve academic and technical knowledge. But, unfortunately Academic Information System are still not fully utilized. For example, only 9 of the respondents who have used discussion / chat online as one of a services of Academic Information System

Sensor merupakan bagian tak terpisahkan dari bidang ilmu elektronika. Teknologi sensor dalam perkembangannya banyak dimanfaatkan di berbagai bidang kehidupan, termasuk bidang otomotif. Bahkan perkembangan teknologi otomotif saat ini mengarah pada penggunaan sensor dan aktuator yang dipadu dengan fungsi unit pengaturan elektronis (ECU). Bagi sebagian besar peserta didik jurusan/bidang otomotif, pengetahuan tentang sensor merupakan hal yang baru. Pemahaman dasar-dasar sebuah teknologi mutlak diperlukan sebelum berlanjut ke tahap pembahasan yang lebih luas dan kompleks. Sehubungan dengan dua hal di atas maka dirasa perlu untuk mengembangkan sebuah metode pembelajaran tentang sensor yang praktis, efisien dan dekat dengan teknologi otomotif agar peserta didik dari jurusan/bidang otomotif mampu dengan cepat memahami dasar-dasar dari sensor. Jurnal ini mengungkapkan hasil penelitian yang telah berhasil mengembangkan peraga sensor ketukan. Sensor tersebut merupakan salahsatu sensor penting dalam bidang otomotif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Riset dan Development.

This research focus on the design of output voltage amplifier from MAP sensor. The purpose of this design research is to explain the process of designing and manufacturing and testing the voltage amplifier with Arduino Uno microcontroller and as a refinement of the previous tool which has been found but still using manual control. In addition, this research serves as a solution to the problems that researchers found in the field of vehicle performance began to decrease with the increasing age of vehicle usage. This type of research is level 3 research, researchers research and test to develop existing products. The object of this research is Toyota Avanza 1.3 G vehicle in 2010. Based on the research, it can be concluded that after adding the output voltage from the MAP sensor with variation of voltage addition of 0.3V, 0.5 V, and 0.7V, it can be concluded that there is an increase in power and torque significantly generated by the vehicle. The highest increase in power and torque occurs in the addition of MAP sensor output voltage of 0.5 V with a percentage increase of 85.87% and 28.4% when compared to power and torque without using a voltage amplifier on the MAP sensor output.

Upaya untuk menghemat konsumsi bahan bakar kendaraan terus dilakukan demi memperlama ketersediaan energi fosil terutama minyak bumi. Artikel ini mengungkap hasil penghematan bahan bakar sepeda motor yang ditempuh dengan cara membatasi pengendara agar selalu berkendara secara hemat mengacu pada metode putaran ekonomis mesin. Pembatasan dilakukan dengan sebuah alat shift indicator. Pengujian dilakukan pada sepeda motor bertransmisi manual 135 cc. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya penghematan sebesar 27.63 %.

A gasoline motor engine using electronic control system has several sensors and actuators driven by a computer. This paper aims to reveal the role of an engine temperature sensor mounted on a gasoline engine motor. The testing data shows that there is a connectivity between the temperature data obtained from the coolant temperature sensor with the fuel injection time and the exhaust gas emission content.

Salah satu penyebab kecelakaan jalan raya adalah cara mengemudi yang tidak tepat, misalnya melebihi kecepatan maksimal yang diijinkan. Ketika kendaraan terjadi kecelakaan dapat menimbulkan ledakan yang sangat besar, seperti yang terjadi pada kasus mobil tangki pengangkut bahan bakar. Melihat permasalahan ini perlu solusi untuk memonitor cara mengemudi (driver behaviour). Metode yang diterapkan dengan aplikasi Electronic Control Unit (ECU) security system. Sistem ini dihubungkan dengan inputan Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) yang dibangkitkan oleh transmisi dan Thorttle Position Sensor (TPS) dibangkitkan oleh katup throttle valve. Sebuah microcontoller dan GPRS shield digunakan untuk mengirimkan pesan pada pemilik dan pengemudi kendaraan. Hasil yang diperoleh, saat kendaraan berjalan di atas kecepatan 60 km/jam, sistem dapat mengirimkan informasi tanda bahaya melalui sms ke ponsel pemilik kendaraan dan pengemudi.

In the automotive field there are several ways to improve motorcycle performance. One of them can be done through fuel system optimization as outlined in this article. Optimization in this case is to add a non-inverting amplifiers circuit. Based on the results of the study, obtained the maximum average power data when using a non-inverting amplifier is 17.1 HP at 10885 RPM engine speed. Data before using a non-inverting amplifier is only 14.13 HP with 10167 RPM. Power increases by an average of 2.97HP (21.02%). The highest torque when using a non-inverting amplifier is 11.55 N.m. at 7970 RPM engine speed. When not using a non-inverting amplifier, torque is 10.46 N.m at 8112 RPM engine speed. Torque increases at an average of 1.09 N.m (10.42%).
