Abstract

Research bankruptcy predictions and financial distress is a topic that is always researched every year because it is important for the company, investors, creditors, etc. to find out whether the company is in a healthy condition in its finances and management. This study examines the impact of financial ratios and market ratios on a company’s financial distress. These research objectives are property sector companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2016 to 2019.  The data analysis are using the e-views program to conduct descriptive statistical tests, outlier tests, and hypothesis tests. The results show that the liquidity ratio does not have a significant effect on financial distress, while the other three financial ratios such as productivity ratios, profitability ratios, and solvency ratios have a positive effect on financial difficulties. Market ratios such as the market value of equity and leverage do not have a significant effect on the level of financial difficulty. This research is also expected to help the company to find out its financial condition so that it can immediately overcome financial problems before bankruptcy occurs.

Abstract

ABSTRAKKebersihan lingkungan merupakan tanggung jawab setiap warga masyarakat. Lingkungan yang sehat mencerminkan kualitas hidup masyarakat dan menjamin terjaganya kesehatan setiap individu. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan di Desa Teniga, Kecamatan Tanjung, Kabupaten Lombok Utara. Salah satu masalah yang perlu diperhatikan di daerah ini adalah pencemaran lingkungan, yaitu sampah organik dan anorganik berupa limbah rumah tangga yang dapat merusak kebersihan lingkungan. Adapun tujuan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk  meningkatkan  kepedulian  masyarakat Desa teniga terhadap pentingnya kebersihan dan kesehatan lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini yaitu dengan pelaksanaan sosialisasi perihal pemilahan sampah yang tepat. Aksi lapangan diataranya dengan kegiatan pembagian plastik sampah sebagai wadah sementara yang di bagikam di rumah rumah masyarakat Desa Teniga, memonitoring tiga kali dalam satu minggu guna mengetahui masyarat telah tepat dalam pemilahan sampah. Pemilahan sampah organik dan Anorganik memanfaatkan sampah menjadi bahan kreasi atau kerajinan tangan untuk sampah anorganik dan Pembuatan gumelang  untuk proses pembuatan kompos bagi sampah organik. Mengajak masyarakat gotong royong bersama membersihkan lingkungan di sekitar desa teniga. Kegiatan pengabdian dapat terlaksana dengan baik atas dukungan antusias dan kontribusi dari masyarakat di Desa Teniga.Kata Kunci: Kesadaran, Masyarakat,bersih  ABSTRACT Environmental cleanliness is the responsibility of every citizen. A healthy environment reflects the quality of life of society and ensures the maintenance of the health of each individual. This community service program was carried out in Teniga Village, Tanjung District, North Lombok Regency. One of the problems that needs to be considered in this area is environmental pollution, namely organic and inorganic waste in the form of household waste which can damage environmental cleanliness. The aim of this service is to increase the awareness of the Teniga Village community regarding the importance of environmental cleanliness and health. The method used in this service is by carrying out socialization regarding proper waste sorting. Field actions include distributing plastic waste as temporary containers which are distributed in the homes of the people of Teniga Village, monitoring three times a week to find out if the community is correct in sorting waste. Sorting organic and inorganic waste, using waste to make creative materials or handicrafts for inorganic waste and making gumelang for the process of making compost for organic waste. Inviting the community to work together to clean the environment around Teniga village. Abstract

Abstrak: Problem Based Learning adalah pendekatan pembelajaran yang dimana siswa belajar aktif terlibat dalam memecahkan masalah , Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesulitan yang dihadapi oleh guru  dalam mengimplementasikan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL). Dengan menggunakan pendekatan tindakan kelas, Penelitian ini  dilaksanakan tanggal 30 sampai 30 Agustus 2024 di kelas X semester ganjil (1). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas melalui kegiatan lesson kuantitaif dengan pendekatann tindakan melalui kegiatan lesson studyd dan melibatkan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam dengan guru yang telah menerapkan Problem Base Learning (PBL) dalam konteks pembelajaran mereka. Melalui analisi data, penelitian ini mengungkapkan berbagai kesulitan yang dihadapi oleh para guru, termasuk tantangan dalam merancang sekenario pemebelajaran yang autentik, kebutuhan akan sumber daya yang memadai, serta kendala dalam mengelola dinamika kelas yang kompleks. Hasil penelitian meningkatkan kemampuan belajar siswa pada saat pembelajarn berlangsung melalui model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada siswa kelas XI, dan ini juga memberikan pemahaman yang mendalam tentang hambatan-hambatan yang dihadapi oleh guru dalam mengadopsi model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning  (PBL) sehingga solusi dan cara-caranya lebih dikembangkan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work flexibility, social support, and leadership on employee performance in the Bureau of Government and Regional Autonomy of the Aceh Governor's Office. The research sample consisted of 45 employees who were selected purposively. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire measured through the Likert scale, and data analysis was carried out using the multiple linear regression method to determine the influence of the three independent variables on employee performance. The results of the study show that work flexibility, social support, and leadership have a positive and significant influence on employee performance. Social support was found to have the strongest influence, with a beta coefficient of 0.38, followed by leadership at 0.31 and work flexibility at 0.25. These findings are in line with the theories of job design, social support, and transformational leadership, which emphasize the importance of flexible work policies, strong social support, and participatory leadership styles in increasing productivity. In conclusion, human resource management in government agencies needs to integrate these three factors to create a conducive work environment and encourage optimal employee performance. The implications of this research are also relevant for improving bureaucratic efficiency in the public sector.

Abstract

Deteksi emosional pada wajah manusia adalah bidang penting dalam pemrosesan citra dan pemahaman emosi. Penelitian ini mengembangkan aplikasi deteksi emosi menggunakan algoritma Haar Cascade Classifier untuk mendeteksi wajah dan Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) dengan optimizer Adam untuk menganalisis emosi. Aplikasi yang dikembangkan berhasil mendeteksi tujuh jenis emosi dasar (marah, jijik, takut, senang, netral, sedih, dan terkejut) secara real-time dengan akurasi keseluruhan sebesar 90%. Kombinasi CNN dan optimizer Adam menunjukkan performa yang baik dengan peningkatan akurasi dan penurunan loss yang konsisten seiring bertambahnya epoch, meskipun terdapat indikasi overfitting. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini dapat diandalkan untuk mendeteksi berbagai ekspresi wajah dan memberikan solusi yang efektif dan akurat dalam deteksi emosional.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas 4, dengan hanya 30% siswa yang tuntas dalam ulangan, sementara 70% lainnya tidak tuntas. Rendahnya hasil tersebut dipengaruhi oleh kurangnya pengaitan materi pembelajaran dengan kondisi nyata dan pengenalan budaya lokal yang penting untuk meningkatkan minat dan pemahaman siswa. Selain itu, komunikasi antara guru dan siswa, serta antar siswa, juga kurang efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara keterampilan komunikasi dan pemahaman budaya lokal terhadap hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas 4 SD. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan instrumen angket dan tes hasil belajar, serta pengujian hipotesis menggunakan korelasi sederhana dan berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan signifikan antara keterampilan komunikasi (r = 0,484) dan pemahaman budaya lokal (r = 0,711) terhadap hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia siswa. Secara simultan, kedua variabel tersebut memiliki hubungan yang kuat (r = 0,735). Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi untuk mengintegrasikan budaya lokal dalam pembelajaran dan meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi siswa untuk meningkatkan efektivitas metode pengajaran.Kata Kunci: Keterampilan komunikasi, budaya lokal, Bahasa IndonesiaABSTRACTThis research was motivated by the low results of learning Indonesian for grade 4 students, with only 30% of students completing the exam, while the other 70% did not. These low results are influenced by the lack of linking learning materials with real conditions and the introduction of local culture which is important to increase student interest and understanding. Apart from that, communication between teachers and students, as well as between students, is also less effective. This research aims to analyze the relationship between communication skills and understanding of local culture on the Indonesian language learning outcomes of 4th grade elementary school students. The research method used is quantitative with questionnaire instruments and learning outcomes tests, as well as hypothesis testing using simple and multiple correlations. The research results show that there is a significant relationship between communication skills (r = 0.484) and understanding of local culture (r = 0.711) on students' Indonesian language learning outcomes. Simultaneously, these two variables have a strong relationship (r = 0.735). This research provides recommendations for integrating local culture in learning and improving students' communication skills to increase the effectiveness of teaching methodsKeywords: communication skills, local culture, Indonesian language learning outcomes

Abstract

A company’s reputation plays an important role in shaping how people see the values the company holds. The rising concern about climate change and global warming has made environmentally conscious stakeholders pay more attention to the environmental impact of a company’s activities. This situation has made environmental performance a key factor in helping companies improve their business value. In this context, one strategy that can be used by the banking sector to respond to sustainability issues is adopting a green banking approach. This study aims to examine the influence of political and military connections on green banking disclosure in banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the years 2019–2022. The study uses a quantitative approach. The research population includes 45 banking companies listed on the IDX, and 21 of them met the sample criteria. The findings show that political connections have a significant positive effect on green banking disclosure, while military connections have no significant effect. Companies with political ties tend to be more careful in their operations, which leads them to build a stronger reputation in public, one way being through the disclosure of green banking implementation.

Abstract

Writing skills are essential for learners in mastering English as a global language. Non-native learners face challenges such as grammatical errors, limited vocabulary, and lack of confidence, making technological solutions like Ginger Software highly relevant. This study employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) to analyze the effectiveness of Ginger Software in enhancing English writing skills. The research synthesizes findings from various studies published between 2015 and 2025, highlighting Ginger’s ability to improve grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structure through real-time feedback and context-based learning. Results indicate that Ginger Software significantly enhances writing quality, supports self-directed learning, and increases learners' motivation. However, challenges such as accessibility limitations, integration into workflows, and over-reliance on technology were also identified. While Ginger Software proves beneficial for addressing common writing errors, its limitations in providing nuanced, contextualized feedback emphasize the continued importance of educators in the learning process. This study concludes that combining AI-based tools like Ginger Software with traditional teaching methods can provide a balanced and comprehensive approach to improving English writing skills. Future research should explore strategies for greater inclusivity and the development of hybrid models integrating AI technologies with human instruction.

Abstract

Purpose – This research finds out the effect of a firm reputation on international acquisition with international acquisition experiences and CEO narcissism as moderating variables.Design/methodology/approach – Research data samples are companies on the Indonesia stock exchange between 2018 till 2021. To select the research sample, this research conducted purposive sampling.Findings – The results of this study show that Experience of International Acquisition and CEO Narcissism can moderate the effect of a firm reputation on international acquisitions. This research also found that CEO Narcissism can be the moderating variable for firm reputation and international acquisitions.Research limitations/implications – The limitation of this research is the object of this research are focusing on cross-border acquisitions. While still there are companies making domestic acquisitions and rarely do cross-border acquisitions, so the data sought is limited and it takes time to find the data. The data can only be accessed via Google and a lot of data is blocked, so it makes it less effective in finding the data needed for research. And some data needed is paid data so it is difficult to access.Practical implications – The practical implications of this study contributes to helping management when conducting mergers and acquisitions. Management shall be adding CEO narcissism as a new requirement for new recruitment standards. If a CEO has a highly narcissistic character, it will bring more acquisition and merger chances to the company. Adding the prospective CEO’s narcissism will simplify the company for deciding to recruit prospective CEO.Originality/value – The value of this research are using CEO narcissism and LQ45 which is still a new research topic in acquisition research.

Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                            Kasus kekerasan di sekolah terindikasi meningkat dari waktu ke waktu, dibutuhkan upaya ekstra untuk mencegah dan menangani kasus dimaksud agar tidak terus berkembang. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk melakukan sosialisasi kebijakan tentang pencegahan dan penanganan kekerasan di lingkungan sekolah. Pengabdian dilakukan dalam bentuk sosialisasi dengan mitra strategis pengabdian adalah SMP Negeri 5 Jonggat dengan melibatkan 50 orang sebagai peserta sosialisasi. Kegiatan pengabdian terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu perencanaan, penyusunan materi sosialisasi, pelaksanaan sosialisasi, serta evaluasi dan tindak lanjut. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan rerata pemahaman peserta dari 45 (pre-test) menjadi 85 (post test), kepuasan  88, relevansi materi sosialisasi 90, tanggapan dan pengalaman peserta mencapai 85 serta terbentuknya komitmen bersama dalam mencegah dan menangani kekerasan di sekolah. Kegiatan diharapkan menjadi langkah awal dalam menciptakan sistem perlindungan berkelanjutan di sekolah. Disarankan agar pihak sekolah melakukan kegiatan serupa secara berkala sebagai ruang edukasi untuk meminimalisir kasus kekerasan di sekolah sehingga tercipta ruang yang aman dan nyaman untuk seluruh penghuni sekolah. Kata kunci: Sosialisasi Kebijakan; Pencegahan dan Penanganan Kekerasan; Lingkungan Sekolah; TPPK. ABSTRACTCases of violence in schools are indicated to increase from time to time, and extra efforts are needed to prevent and handle these cases so that they do not continue to grow. This community service aims to socialize policies on preventing and handling violence in the school environment. The service was carried out in the form of socialization with the strategic partner of the service SMP Negeri 5 Jonggat involving 50 people as socialization participants. The service activity consists of four stages, namely planning, preparation of socialization materials, implementation of socialization, and evaluation and follow-up. The results of the activity showed an increase in the average understanding of participants from 45 (pre-test) to 85 (post-test), satisfaction from 88, relevance of socialization material to 90, responses and experiences of participants reached 85, and the formation of a joint commitment in preventing and dealing with violence in schools. The activity is expected to be the first step in creating a sustainable protection system in schools. It is recommended that schools conduct similar activities periodically as an educational space to minimize cases of violence in schools so as to create a safe and comfortable space for all school occupants. Keywords: Policy Socialization; Violence Prevention and Handling; School Environment; TPPK
