Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the use of Muhadatsah method in improving students ' Arabic language skills in learning Arabic at Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Daarul Muhajirin Bogor City. This type of research is a class action research (PTK) designed in two cycles. Instruments used in this study are observation sheets of teacher and student activities, and test sheets. Data collection techniques using observations and tests. Data analysis techniques using qualitative descriptive analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that there was an increase in Arabic language proficiency of students from pre-cycle, cycle I to Cycle II, which can be seen from the results of the Learning test that is from 25 students in the pre-cycle completed only 9 students with a percentage of 36% and has not met the classical completeness, in cycle I as many as 13 students with a percentage of 52%, and in Cycle II as many as 23 students with a percentage of 92%, this shows an increase from pre-cycle to cycle I and Cycle II and has met the classical completeness. So it can be concluded that the use of Muhadatsah method can improve the Arabic language skills of students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Daarul Muhajirin Bogor City.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out whether the STEM-based IPA learning module to increase the character of this curiosity is worthy of use or not. This research uses the ASSURE research model in Research and Development methods. (Research and Development). The validation sheet of the learning module was  used as a research tool that evaluated by three experts namely: material experts, linguists, and design experts. The results of this research achieved a success rate of 92% in terms of materials with highly qualified category, 95% in terms Of Languages With Very Qualified Category and 77.94% In terms Of Designs With Qualifiable Category. After the experts have completed the validation test, the student evaluated the learning modules at the individual, small group, and large group test levels. As a sample this research was carried out in the 5th SDIT Khoiru Ummah, Leuwisadeng Bogor district. Based on the ratings of respondents to the individual trial obtained a score of 92.30% with the category highly eligible. Small group test scores are 86.60% with highly qualified category and large group tests are 88.60% in highly qualified categories. It can be concluded that based on the validation by experts (materials, languages, and designs) and respondents, the development of a STEM-based IPA learning module to enhance the character of students' curiosity is worthy to be used to facilitate educators and learners' participation in learning.

Abstract

21st century teachers are required to be able to integrate information and communication technology (ICT) in the learning process. In addition, teachers must be able to equip students with skills needed in the 21st century, one of which is communication skills. Science as a subject studied since elementary school is related to communication skills.  Therefore, this study aims to develop a project-based learning science learning e-module to improve the communication skills of grade 5 elementary school/ MI students. In addition, this study is focused on knowing the development process, feasibility and effectiveness in improving students' communication skills. The development of the e-module is carried out using the Research and Development (R&D) 4D model and data collection was carried out through interviews, observations and questionnaires. Meanwhile, data analysis was carried out by measuring the validity of the e-module by material experts, linguists and media experts while to determine the effectiveness of normality, homogeneity and hypothesis tests of independent samples t-test.  Based on the overall feasibility test results, a score of 81.9% was obtained, which means that the e-modules that have been developed are very valid and suitable for use in science learning. In addition, the effectiveness test was carried out using the SPSS FOR Windows 26 application from posttest and pretest data in the control class and experimental class, obtained Sig. (2-Tailed) results of 0.001 or less than 0.05 which means there is a significant difference. Thus, it can be concluded that the project-based learning e-module of science learning is declared effective for improving students' communication skills. Keywords: Effectiveness, Development, E-module, Communication Skills. Guru abad 21 didituntut untuk mampu mengintegrasikan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) dalam proses pembelajaran. Selain itu, guru harus mampu membekali siswa dengan keterampilan yang dibutuhkan di abad 21, salah satunya keterampilan komunikasi. IPA sebagai mata pelajaran yang dipelajari sejak SD berkaitan dengan keterampilan komunikasi.  Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan e-modul pembelajaran IPA berbasis project based learning untuk meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi siswa kelas 5 SD/MI. Selain itu, penelitian ini difokuskan untuk mengetahui proses pengembangan, kelayakan dan keefektifannya dalam meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi siswa. Pengembangan e-modul dilakukan menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) model 4D dan pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi serta angket. Adapun, analisis data dilakukan dengan mengukur validitas e-modul oleh ahli materi, ahli bahasa dan ahli media sedangkan untuk mengetahui efektivitas dilakukan uji normalitas, homogenitas dan uji hipotesis independent samples t-test.  Berdasarkan hasil uji kelayakan secara keseluruhan diperoleh skor 81,9% yang berarti e-modul yang telah dikembangkan sangat valid dan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPA. Selain itu, uji efektivitas dilakukan dengan menggunakan aplikasi SPSS FOR Windows 26 dari data posttest dan pretest di kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen, didapatkan hasil Sig.(2-Tailed) 0,001 atau kurang dari 0,05 yang berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa e-modul pembelajaran IPA berbasis project based learning dinyatakan efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi siswa.

Abstract

The need for 4C competencies in the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Society 5.0 is driving this research. Indonesia's low ranking in the PISA science category, placing 71st out of 80 countries, emphasizes the urgency of this study. Education has introduced 21st-century learning to meet these demands. In the science learning process, effective collaboration skills are crucial and require teachers to use suitable learning models. However, there is a shortage of relevant teaching materials, especially at the basic education level, in this digital era. This research aims to develop an effective project-based learning e-module that enhances collaboration skills in fifth-grade students. The development method follows the 4D model by Thiagarajan, involving the Define, Design, Development, and Dissemination stages. The research uses interviews, questionnaires, and observations as instruments. The results validate the project-based learning e-module for science, with media expert validation at 87%, linguist validation at 79%, and material expert validation at 80%. Moreover, student responses to individual, small group, and large group tests were 88%, 80%, and 83%, respectively. Using the independent sample t-test in SPSS 26 for Windows, quantitative analysis demonstrates a significant average difference in final observation scores between the experimental and control groups, with a difference of 2.381. This outcome yields a two-tailed p-value of 0.000 from the respondents in both groups. In conclusion, the use of e-modules in learning effectively improves students' collaboration skills. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan akan kompetensi 4C yang penting di era revolusi industri 4.0 dan society 5.0. Rendahnya peringkat Indonesia pada hasil PISA kategori sains, berada di peringkat 71 dari 80 negara, menambah urgensi dari penelitian ini. Dalam upaya memenuhi tuntutan tersebut, pendidikan telah beradaptasi dengan memperkenalkan pembelajaran abad 21. Keterampilan kolaborasi yang baik diperlukan dalam proses penemuan pada pembelajaran IPA, hal ini menjadi tuntutan bagi para guru dalam menggunakan model pembelajaran yang dapat memenuhi kebutuhan tersebut. Namun, di era digital ini, terutama pada tingkat pendidikan dasar, masih terdapat kekurangan dalam ketersediaan bahan ajar yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan zaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan e-modul pembelajaran IPA berbasis project based learning yang meningkatkan keterampilan kolaborasi siswa kelas 5 SD secara efektif. Metode pengembangannya menggunakan model 4D dari Thiagarajan, yaitu Define, Design, Development, dan Dissemination. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, angket, dan observasi. Abstract

Abstract This study aims to see the effect of applying discovery learning model in the Merdeka Curriculum on the critical thinking skills of grade 5 students in science subjects. This study uses a quantitative approach in the type of pre-experimental design in the form of a one-group pretest-posttest design. Data was collected using instruments in the form of pretests and posttests. This research was conducted at SD IT Baitussalam grade 5 in Tajurhalang District, Bogor Regency. The data obtained were analysed using paired sample t-test. The results of the study stated that there was an effect of the application of the independent curriculum discovery learning model on the critical reasoning of grade 5 students in science subjects. After the implementation of the independent curriculum, students' critical reasoning skills increased. The implication of this research confirms the importance of discovery learning as an effective learning model in improving students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that in the 21st century, the learning process is no longer centered on educators (teacher-centered learning) but is centered on students (student-centered learning), learning consists of skills known as "The 4C Skills". Indonesia's low ranking in the PISA results designed by the OECD in 2018, was ranked 71st in the science category. Students' critical thinking abilities are needed in the learning process, especially in science learning in the independent curriculum, but each student has different essential thinking abilities. In the independent curriculum, the learning process is to meet the needs of the students, both in terms of planning learning and conditioning the classroom atmosphere and giving freedom to students to be active in learning. This research aims to determine the critical thinking abilities of grade 5 students in science lessons in the independent curriculum at SDI Al Azhar 27. The research method uses a combination research method with a concurrent triangulation design model. The instruments used in this research were tests, observations, and interviews. The results of the research show that students' critical thinking abilities before using the independent curriculum and students' critical thinking abilities after using the independent curriculum have increased. Quantitative analysis using the Paired Sample T-Test using SPSS 26 for Windows shows that the average value ranges from 85.00 to 90.90. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant increase in students' critical thinking abilities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh asumsi dan pandangan umum yang menyatakan bahwa pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) secara mayoritas dianggap membosankan bagi siswa sekolah menengah pertama (SMP) sehingga menurunkan kreativitas pada diri siswa. Untuk mengantisipasi hal tersebut, penggunaan teknologi multimedia dalam meningkatkan kreativitas siswa harus dimaksimalkan. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah Bagaimana keefektifitasan pembelajaran PAI berbasis multimedia di SMP Negeri 14? Bagaimanakah penggunaan multimedia dalam pembelajaran PAI di kelas? Apakah pembelajaran PAI berbasis multimedia dapat meningkatkan kreativitas siswa?. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Lokasi penelitian terletak di SMP Negeri 14 Kota Bogor. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, tes, dan dokumentasi. Dalam penelitian ini penentuan jumlah sampel diambil dari kelas 8 di SMP Negeri 14 kota Bogor, sedangkan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan sample representatif. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik analisis deskriptif dan data. Hasil olah data penelitian menunjukkan kesimpulan: Terdapat peningkatan kreativitas siswa dengan memaksimalkan penggunaan teknologi multimedia dalam setiap pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam ditandai dengan perolehan observasi kreativitas siswa dan nilai pendidikan Agama Islam di SMP Negeri 14 Kota Bogor.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan karakter religius yang dimiliki siswa pada kelas yang sudah menerapkan metode Insersi dengan kelas yang tidak menerapkan metode Insersi pada pembelajaran IPA kelas V di SD Al-Azhar Syifa Budi Cibinong Bogor. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah dua kelas; kelas kontrol dan kelas ekperimen masing-masing 48 siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adlah metode eksperimen kuasi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan pretest dan posttest. Data-data tersebut dianalisis melalui Uji t dengan Paired Samples Test dan uji t Independent Samples Test.
