Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) on the development of independent character among students at SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Palas Utara. Employing a qualitative case study design, data were collected through observation, interviews, and document analysis. Thematic analysis was used to interpret the data. The findings indicate that P5 enhances students’ independence, as shown by their increased initiative in completing tasks, improved time management, and willingness to take on leadership roles in school projects. Teachers observed that students became more proactive and less dependent on instructions. However, challenges emerged, such as students’ initial reluctance to act independently due to past teacher-centered habits and limited access to learning materials. Strategies to overcome these issues included structured mentoring, peer collaboration, and the integration of digital tools. The study concludes that P5 provides an effective framework for fostering self-reliance and resilience, contributing to the holistic development of students in alignment with Pancasila values.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi upaya Guru Pendidikan Pancasila dalam memperkuat karakter nasionalisme melalui media lagu nasional. Tedapat fenomena melemahnya karakter nasionalisme di SMA Negeri 1 Pedes Kabupaten Karawang akibat dari era globalisasi yang ditandai dengan maraknya konten-konten lagu modern seperti lagu barat dan lagu K-Pop di ruang digital. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan mekanisme mengumpulkan data secara mendalam, melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi dengan siswa dan guru sebagai informan, serta analisis terhadap penerapan kurikulum dalam Pendidikan Pancasila. Hasil dari penelitian membuktikan bahwa strategi guru dalam upaya penguatan karakter nasionalisme siswa menggunakan lagu nasional sebagai media pembelajaran dengan cara pembiasaan atau habituasi yang diintegrasikan melalui berbagai kegiatan sekolah dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang makna lagu nasional, tetapi juga dapat memupuk semangat nasionalisme dalam diri siswa. Upaya guru meliputi perancangan pembelajaran berbasis nilai, kolaborasi dengan guru seni dan pembina ekstrakurikuler serta rutinitas melantunkan lagu nasional dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila serta menganalisis nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam lagu nasional. Penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa lagu nasional berfungsi sebagai simbol kenegaraan, sekaligus sebagai media efektif dalam menguatkan karakter nasionalisme siswa di era globalisasi.

Abstract

The phenomenon of adolescent suicide is a significant and increasing mental health problem in various countries, including Indonesia, influenced by complex social, psychological, and economic pressures. This study aims to analyze the relevance of Pancasila Education in efforts to prevent adolescent suicide cases. The method used is a literature review by analyzing and synthesizing national and international scientific articles published from 2021 to 2025. This study is not yet applied; it only aims to build a theoretical construct regarding the contribution of Pancasila values ​​to adolescent mental health. The results of the study indicate that Pancasila values, namely the values ​​of divinity, humanity, unity, deliberation, and social justice, can build spirituality, empathy, social bonds, communication skills, and a sense of justice in adolescents. The implementation of these values ​​in the character learning process can foster mental resilience, social awareness, and life expectancy, thus Pancasila Education has relevance as a preventive strategy in supporting the prevention of suicide cases in adolescents.

Abstract

The role of people and society is very important in children's growth, because with the education provided by parents and the community to instill value education and civic education. This paper is a qualitative research using literature review method, the data is then analyzed and studied inductively. The results of this study indicate that the role of people as first educators in the family environment has an influence on children's personality development and supports children's education. Meanwhile, the role of the community in value education and civic education is its role as the organizer and implementation of quality education in everyday life in society. However, an obstacle is an obstacle in instilling value education and citizenship education both in the family or community environment that does not support the formation of a value. The efforts of parents and society in instilling value education and civic education properly for children by realizing a culture of mutual cooperation, not littering, and reprimanding children for taking bad actions.
