Abstract

Film “12 Cerita Glen Anggara” menceritakan tentang Glen Anggara yang bertemu dengan Shena, seorang gadis yang memiliki 12 daftar keinginan yang ingin dicapai sebelum penyakit yang diderita Shena semakin parah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini, untuk menganalisis pemaknaan semiotika Roland Barthes yang meliputi makna denotasi, konotasi, dan mitos yang terkandung dalam film “12 Cerita Glen Anggara” karya Luluk HF. Film ini dipilih karena menyuguhkan beragam nilai kehidupan yang tersembunyi di balik narasi remaja dan kisah romansa, seperti nilai kekeluargaan, persahabatan, serta kepedulian sosial. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah jenis kualitatif deskripti. Data diperoleh dari tuturan dan adegan dalam film “12 Cerita Glen Anggara” yang dianalisis menggunakan tiga lapisan pemaknaan Barthes: denotatif (makna literal), konotatif (makna emosional/budaya), dan mitos (makna ideologis).  Sumber data penelitian ini berasal dari film 12 Cerita Glen Anggara yang ditayangkan pada aplikasi netflix sejak tanggal 23 Januari 2023. Dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa simak, catat, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menemukan beberapa data berupa tuturan dan adegan yang masing-masing memuat pemaknaan mendalam yang mencerminkan pandangan budaya dan nilai-nilai sosial masyarakat. Melalui kajian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa film 12 Cerita Glen Anggara tidak hanya menjadi tontonan hiburan, tetapi juga sarat makna simbolik yang layak dikaji secara semiotik untuk memahami pesan-pesan tersembunyi yang disampaikan kepada penonton. Abstract The movie “12 Stories of Glen Anggara” tells the story of Glen Anggara who meets Shena, a girl who has 12 wish lists to achieve before Shena's illness gets worse. The purpose of this study is to analyze the semiotic meaning of Roland Barthes which includes the meaning of denotation, connotation, and myth contained in the film “12 Stories of Glen Anggara” by Luluk HF. This movie was chosen because it presents a variety of life values hidden behind teenage narratives and romance stories, such as family values, friendship, and social care. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative type. Data were obtained from speech and scenes in the film “12 Stories of Glen Anggara” which were analyzed using Barthes' three layers of meaning: denotative (literal meaning), connotative (emotional/cultural meaning), and mythical (ideological meaning).  The data source of this research comes from the movie 12 Stories of Glen Anggara which was aired on the netflix application since January 23, 2023. By using data collection techniques in the form of listening, recording, and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques are done by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study found some data in the form of speech and scenes, each of which contains deep meaning that reflects the cultural views and social values of society. Through this research, it can be concluded that the movie 12 Stories by Glen Anggara is not only an entertainment spectacle, but also full of symbolic meanings that deserve to be studied semiotically to understand the hidden messages that want to be conveyed to the audience.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze directive speech acts in Dr. Aisyah Dahlan's lectures, especially in lectures entitled Building a Harmonious and Romantic Family with a focus on the forms, functions, and communication strategies used. Data collection was conducted in January 2025 with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were obtained from lecture videos uploaded on Dr. Aisyah Dahlan's official YouTube channel, through listening, transcription, and recording techniques. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that the most dominant form of directive speech acts was interrogative, followed by declarative and imperative. The most frequently used function was questions, followed by advice, requests, orders, prohibitions, and granting permission. The communication strategy used includes five elements in the Lasswell model, namely Dr. Aisyah Dahlan as a communicator (who?). Each message has a different purpose, such as building interaction, creating closeness, arousing emotions, and making it easier for the audience to understand the material (what?). The lecture was delivered live and broadcast on YouTube (which channel?) to the general audience (to whom?). This strategy produced a communication effect in the form of increased attention, the emergence of emotional responses, and the growth of audience awareness of the contents of the lecture message (with what effect?).

Abstract

Telaah qualitative ini berupaya melakukan identifikasi sekaligus analisis terhadap hambatan serta katalisator berpengaruh atas kreativitas berbahasa peserta didik pada progres implementasi P5 di SMA Nabawi Maftahul Uluum. Desain riset menetapkan dan diterapkan ancangan qualitative, descriptive, terfokus case study, subjek mitra didik SMA NMU, racikan riil fakta berupa data-data berbentuk tek dan konteks, didapatkan dengan proses pengamatan, wawancara, kemudian data-data dilakukan telaah yang didukung dengan dokumen yang relevan. Temuan telaah Obstacles And Catalysts mendeskripsikan adanya beberapa hambatan dalam pelaksanaan Projek P5, seperti keterbatasan sumber daya, tantangan dalam manajemen waktu, dan kurangnya keterlibatan orang tua. Sebaliknya, faktor-faktor yang berfungsi sebagai katalisator meliputi dukungan dari guru, kolaborasi antar siswa, serta pemanfaatan teknologi dalam proses pembelajaran. Meskipun terdapat hambatan, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Projek P5 secara signifikan meningkatkan kreativitas berbahasa peserta didik, dengan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis, inovasi, dan kolaborasi. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan dukungan terhadap pelaksanaan Projek P5 serta pengembangan strategi untuk mengatasi hambatan yang ada, demi meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran dan kreativitas siswa dalam berbahasa.

Abstract

Kegiatan Cooking Demo Expo yang diselenggarakan oleh Dosen dan KKN 7 UMS Rappang di Desa Timoreng Panua bertujuan untuk memberdayakan masyarakat melalui pemanfaatan bahan pangan lokal menjadi produk kuliner modern yang memiliki nilai seni, budaya, dan ekonomi. Metode dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif yang melibatkan mahasiswa, masyarakat, dan pelaku UMKM lokal. Tahapan kegiatan mencakup persiapan, sosialisasi, pelatihan, cooking demo, pendampingan UMKM, dan evaluasi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan pada keterampilan peserta dalam mengolah produk kuliner berbasis tanaman lokal dengan sentuhan seni budaya dalam penyajian dan kemasan. Selain itu, peserta juga mendapatkan pemahaman mengenai strategi kewirausahaan, pemasaran digital, dan peluang usaha. Program ini memberikan dampak positif terhadap pemberdayaan ekonomi lokal dan mendorong inovasi produk yang berbasis pada potensi daerah.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi dewasa ini telah berkembang sangat pesat dan hampir telah mempengaruhi semua aspek kehidupan manusia. Dalam era teknologi informasi ini ditandai dengan kecepatan dan kemudahan untuk mendapatkan informasi yang dibutuhkan. Media grafis atau yang sering disebut sebagai media visual, merupakan salah media yang banyak digemari oleh banyak orang, selain untuk dunia bisnis bahkan untuk dunia pendidikan untuk nilai edukasi, sehingga tujuan dalam pelatihan ini untuk meningkatkan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas siswa MAN 1 Sidrap terutama pada pembutan design poster edukasi siswa juga bisa, adapun aplikasi yang dipelajari yaitu canva. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan salama satu hari, dengan melibatkan Kelas XI IPA siswa MAN 1 Sidrap. Selama pelaksanaan kegiatan siswa sangat antusias melaksanaan dan mengikuti kegiatan, karena mereka mendapatkan pengalaman baru dan memahami pemanfaatan aplikasi canva yang sudah diajarkan. Pengetahuan yang didapat saat pelatihan diharapkan dapat berguna bagi siswa dalam jangka pendek maupun jangka panjang, yaitu dalam ruang lingkup kehidupan siswa yang lebih luas kedepannya.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to develop descriptive text learning materials based on local wisdom for seventh grade students of MTs Negeri 1 Manado. To make the research more focused, the problem formulation is limited to three main issues: (1) what are the learning needs of descriptive texts in seventh grade at MTs Negeri 1 Manado; (2) what is the form and design of local wisdom–based learning materials in descriptive text learning; and (3) how effective is the implementation of local wisdom–based learning materials in descriptive text learning. This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using Sugiyono’s model, which consists of ten steps, ranging from identifying potentials and problems to mass production. The research subjects included material experts, media experts, and seventh grade students. Data collection instruments consisted of questionnaires, tests, observations, and interviews. The data were analyzed descriptively to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the product. The results of the study show that: (1) the developed learning materials meet the eligibility criteria in terms of content, language, presentation, and graphics, categorized as very feasible; (2) the local wisdom–based learning materials of North Sulawesi attracted students’ learning interest and facilitated their understanding of the structure and linguistic features of descriptive texts; and (3) the effectiveness test results revealed an improvement in students’ ability to write descriptive texts, with N-gain values falling into the medium to high categories. This study concludes that local wisdom–based learning materials are effective in improving students’ descriptive writing skills while simultaneously instilling the values of local wisdom in learners.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of the principal’s academic supervision on Indonesian language learning in a remote elementary school setting, focusing on UPT SD Negeri 6 Batu, Sidenreng Rappang Regency. Academic supervision is a key component in improving instructional quality, particularly in remote schools that face limited resources, uneven teacher competencies, and minimal professional development opportunities. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this research examines how supervisory planning, implementation, and follow-up actions contribute to teacher professional competence, instructional quality, and work motivation. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, documentation analysis, and teacher questionnaires. The findings reveal that the principal’s supervision is systematically planned through scheduled supervision programs, clear instructional criteria, and structured performance monitoring. Implementation involves directive, nondirective, and collaborative approaches, including classroom observations, professional dialogues, and a peer-discussion model known as “safari pembelajaran.” The study shows that effective supervision enhances teachers’ readiness in instructional planning, strengthens their pedagogical strategies, and improves classroom management during Indonesian language lessons. Furthermore, supervision contributes to increased teacher motivation, greater responsibility, and improved discipline in carrying out instructional duties. The study concludes that academic supervision plays a significant role in improving the quality of Indonesian language learning in remote schools, and it recommends more sustained, reflective, and context-responsive supervisory practices to strengthen instructional outcomes.
