Abstract

Tax reform is the government's strategic step to improve the effectiveness of the tax administration system and taxpayer compliance. One form of reform is the implementation of the Coretax system by the Directorate General of Taxes. Coretax is designed to simplify administrative processes, improve efficiency, and support digital-based services. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Coretax tax education at the West Bekasi Tax Office, including the obstacles faced and efforts made to improve taxpayer compliance. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The theory used is the policy implementation theory of George C. Edward III, which includes four dimensions: communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. The results showed that Coretax tax education still faces obstacles such as low digital literacy, limited human resources, and uneven socialization. Even so, efforts such as organizing tax classes and mentoring continue. Coretax education has a positive impact on compliance, but it is not yet fully optimized. A more adaptive and comprehensive education strategy is needed so that tax reform through Coretax reaches its maximum goal.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Application of the Authentic Learning Model in Improving Fiqh Learning Achievement at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al-Hasan Putri, Srambah Village, Proppo District, Pamekasan Regency. This research is motivated by the low academic performance of students in the subject of Fiqh, which is caused by a passive learning approach, teacher-centered methods, and a lack of real learning experiences. This condition makes students less motivated, less active, and have difficulty understanding the connection between the subject matter and everyday life. This model is expected to create an active, contextual, enjoyable, and meaningful learning atmosphere, thereby improving students' academic performance. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. Data collection techniques were carried out thru observation, interviews, and documentation involving the head of the madrasa, Fiqh subject teachers, and students as the main data sources. Data analysis was conducted thru the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research results show that the implementation of the Authentic Learning model in Fiqh education can improve students' performance, participation, and understanding. Students appear more active, enthusiastic, and able to relate the material to real-life experiences in their daily lives. Improvements are also seen in the students' learning evaluation results after this teaching model was implemented. Supporting factors for success include institutional support, facilities and infrastructure, teacher guidance and mentoring, teacher mastery of the material, and student engagement in the learning process. As for the inhibiting factors, they include the low level of student discipline, limited learning time, differences in students' ability to understand the material contextually, and the shyness of some students in expressing their opinions in class.

Abstract

Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) in laboratories is a fundamental aspect in supporting laboratory and research activities at universities, particularly in the field of animal science, which involves potential biological, chemical, and physical hazards. During the digital transition, the complexity of occupational risks has increased alongside the increasingly intensive use of laboratory technology. This community service activity aims to enhance the understanding and awareness of the academic community regarding the implementation of laboratory OSH as a preventive measure against workplace accidents. The methods employed include outreach, training, and the delivery of case-study-based materials online via the Zoom Meeting. A total of 151 participants took part in the activity, comprising students, faculty members, and laboratory staff from various universities. The results of the activity indicate that participants gained a comprehensive understanding of hazard identification, risk control strategies based on the 3E approach, the implementation of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), and the importance of near-miss reporting. This training contributes to building a culture of workplace safety and enhancing preparedness for emergency situations in the laboratory.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the importance of the recruitment process of Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK) in shaping perceptions of decent work among State Civil Apparatus (ASN). The objective of this research is to analyze the effect of the PPPK recruitment process on the perception of decent work among ASN in Tebing Tinggi City. This study employs a quantitative approach using a survey method by distributing questionnaires to 92 PPPK ASN respondents. The data analysis techniques include classical assumption tests, simple linear regression, coefficient of determination, and hypothesis testing using SPSS. The results show that the PPPK recruitment process has a positive and significant effect on the perception of decent work among ASN, with a contribution of 78.2%. This indicates that the better the implementation of a transparent, objective, and merit-based recruitment process, the higher the employees’ perception of decent work. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of improving the quality of the PPPK recruitment system to support the creation of professional ASN and enhance employee trust and job satisfaction within government institutions.
