Abstract

The purpose of this Community Service activity is to implement one form of Tri Dharma of Higher Education. In addition, this activity aims to be a means of making a major contribution to the development and application of science to the community, which here are students. This training teaches students to understand the systematics and techniques of writing good and correct scientific papers. The method of implementing this activity was carried out using the Participatory Learning and Action (PLA) method. This training activity was conducted offline for 2 days with 50 participants from SMA N 2 Tarakan. The results of community service activities obtained are: 1) the implementation of training in writing scientific papers for high school students N2 Tarakan has been by the stages previously planned, 2) the students' understanding is increasingly mature towards the training material for writing scientific papers, 3) overall the response of the Scientific Writing training participants is very satisfied with the training provided.

Abstract

Abstract: Indonesia is a compound country. The diversity of the Indonesian nation on the one hand is a treasure that should be maintained and provide dynamics for the nation, but on the other hand can also be a source of disputes and conflicts. This research uses the hermeneutic method with a philosophical approach. The concept of multicultural Islamic religious education is a division of the concept of multicultural, religious education needs to use the multicultural paradigm as the main foundation for teaching and learning. Multicultural Islamic education is very important because it offers a role model of education that specifically introduces multiculturalism that is beneficial for the inculcation of inclusivemulticulturalistic Islamic values in Indonesia. Abstrak: Indonesia adalah negara majemuk. Keragaman bangsa indonesia disatu sisi merupakan suatu khazanah yang patut dipelihara dan memberikan dinamika bagi bangsa, namun disisi lain dapat pula menjadi sumber perselisihan dan konflik. Penelitian ini dengan menggunakan metode hermeneutik dengan pendekatan filosofis. Konsep pendidikan agama Islam multikultural merupakan devisi dari konsepnya tentang pendidikan agama berwawasan multikultural perlu menggunakan paradigma multikultural sebagai landasan utama penyelenggaraan belajar mengajar. Pendidikan islam multikultural keberadaanya sangat penting lantaran menawarkan role model pendidikan yang secara spesifik mengintrodusisasi multikulturalisme yang bermanfaat bagi penanaman nilai-nilai islam yang inklusifmultikulturalistik di Indonesia.

Abstract

Research on kembang goyang cake with substitution of Ipomoea batatas linnaeus (white sweet potato) flour to find out: 1) differences in sensory quality; 2) people's preferences for aspects of color, sweet taste, savory taste, aroma, and texture; 3) protein content and water content. This research consists of stages of sensory quality testing and people's liking tests.  20 somewhat trained panelists carried out the sensory test to assess the quality of the Kembang Goyang cake product, then analyzed using the average and continued with the ANOVA and Tukey tests. Test people's preferences using average analysis. The research results show: 1) there are differences in sensory quality in the aspects of color, sweetness, savory taste, aroma, and texture; 2) the highest average liking in the 0% sample was 4.06 (like), 10% was 4.06 (like), 20% was 4.21 (like), and 30% was 4.18 (like); 3) protein content of 8.12- 27.71% and water content of 0.78- 1.90. This indicates that there are differences in the sensory qualities and people's preferences for the Ipomoea Batatas Linnaeus flour kembang goyang cake. Abstract

Child-friendly education in elementary schools is not just about transferring knowledge or content. The rapid development of science and technological advances will have major consequences. Not only are the needs of society changing, but it also becomes a vehicle for internalizing character that originates from the values and culture of society. This concept gives rise to logical consequences, namely that every learning process, whatever the topic, must integrate cultural values as character education content, including social studies and science learning. One of the cultural elements that can be integrated in social studies and science learning is ethnoscience (indigenous public science) which is child-friendly for elementary school students. Ethnoscience is an original science (a community's knowledge system). Analysis of the literature shows that the integration of the ethnoscience approach can help the process of learning social science for students in elementary schools by paying attention to their special needs, facilitating the development of critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and enriching the learning experience through the integration of local, traditional, and contextual knowledge. However, the challenges in integrating this approach, such as a deep understanding of students' cultural diversity and the development of relevant curricula, also need to be considered. Taking these findings into account, further research can develop strategies and best practices in implementing an ethnoscience approach in science learning in elementary schools, creating a meaningful learning environment for all students.

Abstract

The current environmental crisis is an important issue that is the focus of research globally, including in Indonesia. Therefore, this research is an effort to explore trends in environmentally sound literary research in Indonesia. The research process was carried out by combining statistical data combined with descriptive analysis. Therefore, mixed-method research methods are considered appropriate to use.  Research data is a source of literary ecology research trends taken from the Google Scholar database. The data source is Google Scholar. Data retrieval using the Publish or Perish app. The data is taken by entering the keyword "literary ecology" in the Google Scholar database drop-down menu. Once the data is retrieved, it is then analyzed using the Vosviewer application. Vosviewer analysis can display research trends, research topic relationships, research developments from year to year, and various research information, in accordance with the research focus based on data inputted in the application The results of the study show that literary ecology research in Indonesia has only developed in at least the last five years. In quantity, the amount of literary ecology research in Indonesia is increasing. In terms of the quantity of types of relationships with various other scientific terminology, the number is still small. Meanwhile, in terms of research trends with literary ecology research topics have shown progress that continues to develop by involving other sciences. This is certainly a good development in scientific debate, because the issue of environmental crisis discussed through literary ecology involves various other scientific fields for the purpose of solving environmental problems globally. An important implication of this research is that information about literary ecology research trends in Indonesia can be an important source of knowledge to see the efforts of the Indonesian people in their participation in dealing with global environmental problems. Abstract

Abraham Maslow memiliki keterlibatan secara signifikan terkait pelajaran bahasa Arab. Karena hal tersebut, teori belajar humanistik Maslow bisa dilakukan pengembangan memberikan variasi pada metode pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian ini adalah jenis data kualitatif. Penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan bentuk dari penelitian lapangan (field research). Penelitian yang dilakukan ini menggunakan pendekatan psikologi. Teori psikologi pendidikan yang memilki kaitan pada penelitian ini, yaitu situasi atau tempat yang berkaitan terkait belajar serta mengajar, proses belajar mengajar, serta capaian hasil dari proses belajar mengajar. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: 1) Metode yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab di Rumah Qur’an Indonesia adalah dengan cara mengedepankan kemampuan santri dalam memahami sesuatu dan peran guru adalah sebagai pembimbing santri. 2) Implementasi teori humanistik dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab di Rumah Qur’an Indonesia adalah dengan memberikan dukungan terhadap upaya santri dalam mengeksplorasi kemampuannya, menciptakan lingkungan yang kondusif, guru menjadi fasilitator dalam membimbing dan pendamping dalam proses belajar santri. 3) Faktor penghambat dan pendukung dalam penerapan teori humanistik dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab di Rumah Qur’an Indonesia yakni keterbatasan waktu, kepercayaan diri, motivasi, bendahara kata serta gramatikal bahasa Arab. 4) Cara mengatasi faktor penghambat dalam penerapan teori humanistik dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab di Rumah Qur’an Indonesia yaitu dengan menyadarkan santri untuk belajar lebih mandiri, memotivasi santri supaya lebih percaya diri, untuk melaksanakan kegiatan hafalan dan menerapkan metode penyampaian gramatikal yang mudah. Implikasi penelitian ini terhadap pembelajaran bahasa Arab adalah pentingnya mengintegrasikan teori belajar humanistik Maslow untuk variasi metode pembelajaran yang lebih efektif. Rekomendasi untuk penelitian selanjutnya termasuk fokus pada pengembangan strategi pembelajaran yang lebih adaptif dan mendalam terhadap karakteristik siswa, serta eksplorasi lebih lanjut mengenai faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi implementasi teori humanistik dalam konteks pembelajaran bahasa Arab di Rumah Qur’an Indonesia.

Abstract

Cookies coklat merupakan kue yang terbuat dari adonan lunak memiliki citarasa manis serta memiliki tekstur yang renyah dan menggunkaan bahan tambahan coklat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui: tingkat kesukaan masyarakat 2) kandungan senyawa HCN (asam sianida) dan kadar air pada cookies coklat substitusi tepung buah lindur (20%, 15%, 10% dari tepung terigu). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu eksperimen. Desain penelitian menggunakan one shot study, Analisis uji kesukaan menggunakan analisis kruskal wallis untuk mengetahui tingkat kesukaan masyarakat. Kandungan senyawa HCN (asam suanida) dan kadar air dengan uji laboratorium. Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini yaitu: 1) cookies coklat substitusi tepung buah lindur paling disukai masyarakat pada sampel D (10% tepung lindur dari tepung terigu) 2) hasil uji kandungan senyawa HCN menunjukan bahwa semakin banyak penambahan tepung buah lindur semakin banyak kandungan senyawa HCN, kandungan senyawa HCN sampel B 2,2 ppm, kandungan senyawa HCN sampel C 2,0ppm, kandungan senyawa HCN sampel D 1,7ppm. Sedangkan hasil uji kandungan kadar air berkisar antara. 3,3%-3,5%.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan kulit ari kedelai menjadi yoghurt merupakan salah satu upaya diversifikasi pangan dan penanganan limbah kulit ari kedelai. Yoghurt merupakan produk olahan makanan yang dihasilkan melalui fermentasi bakteri asam laktat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesukaan, kandungan kadar lemak dan baktei coliform pada yoghurt artifisial dengan penambahan wijen dengan perbedaan 0%(kontrol), 6%, 10%, dan 14%. Uji kesukaan dilakukan terhadap 80 orang. Analisis kandungan kadar lemak menggunakan metode Soxhlet dan jumlah bakteri coliform menggunakan metode Total Plate Count (TPC). Data uji kesukaan dianalisis menggunakan Kruskal-wallis. Kemudian dilanjutkan uji Mann-Whitney apabila terdapat perbedaan kesukaan pada yoghurt artifisial penambahan wijen. Hasil uji kesukaan menunjukkan ada perbedaan pada indikator rasa asam dan rasa manis, serta tidak ada perbedaan pada indikator keseluruhan, warna putih khas yoghurt, aroma khas yoghurt, aroma langu, kekentalan, dan konsistensi homogen. Kadar lemak pada sampel A (0%) sebesar 0,140%, sampel B (6%) sebesar 0,340%, sampel C (10%) sebesar 0,280%, dan sampel D (14%) sebesar 0,240%. Jumlah bakteri coliform pada sampel A (0%) sebesar 0,38x105 ml, B (6%) sebesar 0,28x105 ml, C (10%) sebesar 0,21x105 ml, dan D (14%) sebesar 0,19x105 ml. Kedua hasil tersebut sesuai dengan Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI) untuk kadar lemak yoghurt yaitu 0,6-2,9 dan bakteri colifom maksimal 10ml.

Abstract

Abstract The research objectives were 1) to determine the level of nutritional literacy in college students 2) to determine energy adequacy in college students 3) to determine protein adequacy in college students 4) to determine the effect of nutritional literacy on energy adequacy 5) to determine the effect of nutritional literacy on protein adequacy. This research was a survey research and a cross-sectional research design with research subjects being students of the Culinary Education Study Program, Semarang State University. Sampling used a saturated sampling technique in which all members of the population in this study were used as samples. The sample in this study was 81 students of the Culinary Education Study Program, Semarang State University, Class of 2021. Nutritional literacy is measured by The Nutrition Literacy Assessment Instrument (NLit). Energy and protein adequacy was measured using a food recall instrument for two days. Data analysis used percentage descriptive analysis for objectives 1-3 and simple linear regression for objectives 4-5. The results showed that the level of nutritional literacy on average was in the less category with a percentage of 63.4%. Energy adequacy shows an average value in the category of moderate level deficit with a percentage of 73%. Protein adequacy shows an average value in the mild deficit category with a percentage of 87.6%. The results of simple linear regression analysis showed that there was no significant effect between nutritional literacy and energy adequacy (p = 0.698) and there was no significant effect between nutritional literacy and protein adequacy (p = 0.812). These results indicate that students' understanding of nutritional literacy has not been able to fulfill proper nutritional adequacy. Keywords: Nutritional literacy, energy adequacy, protein adequacy

Abstract

Early Childhood Education in addition to providing educational services as well in the form of early childhood nutritional health services implemented through provision of a healthy and nutritionally balanced diet to help growth and support physical and spiritual development, as well as to help develop the potential for spiritual, intellectual, emotional and social intelligence in early childhood through the Provision of Healthy Food. The aims of this study were 1) to find out the mechanism for implementing healthy food at the Muslimat NU Puton Kindergarten in Pekalongan. 2) To find out the criteria for providing healthy food at the Muslimat NU Puton Kindergarten in Pekalongan. 3) To find out the extent of achievement in implementing healthy food at the Muslimat NU Puton Kindergarten in Pekalongan. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques using interview techniques, observation, and documentation. The results showed that 1) The implementation of healthy food for young children in Muslimat Kindergarten NU Puton Pekalongan is given once a week which is held every Thursday at 10.00 WIB for lunch for children after carrying out learning and playing activities, the menu given every week is different Different, namely in the form of healthy snacks/snacks and main meals so that children don't get bored of receiving healthy food at school. 2) The criteria for providing healthy food to children at the Muslimat NU Puton Pekalongan Kindergarten have not been fully implemented in accordance with the existing criteria, the criteria that have not been implemented are that in the process of making food for cooks they have not used personal protective equipment (PPE) and the food ingredients used have not been fully using local ingredients. 3) The achievement of implementing healthy food at the Muslimat NU Puton Kindergarten in Pekalongan seen from the aspect of increasing children's development according to their age stages, increasing children's weight and height, as well as parental involvement in parenting activities can be said to be successful.
