Abstract

Abstract

This study explores the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in public administration, focusing on the dimensions of governance, ethics, and decision-making. As governments increasingly adopt AI-driven systems to enhance efficiency and transparency, critical questions arise regarding accountability, algorithmic bias, and the preservation of public trust. Using a comprehensive literature review method, this paper synthesizes findings from prior studies published in reputable international journals to examine how AI reshapes administrative processes and ethical frameworks. The analysis identifies emerging patterns in governance innovation, the ethical dilemmas of data-driven decision-making, and the evolving role of human oversight in automated environments. It further highlights the dual nature of AIas a tool for improving public service delivery and as a potential source of ethical complexity. Through comparative and thematic synthesis, this study contributes to a deeper understanding of how AI technologies influence policy formulation and institutional integrity. The paper underscores the need for adaptive governance models capable of balancing innovation with ethical responsibility in the era of intelligent public administration.

Abstract

A thesaurus limits its scope to specific subjects or related to certain subjects and is a means of standardizing terms created as a tool in the process of organizing information. A principle-compliant index language is required when organizing information. A user warrant and literary warrant approach can be used to construct a thesaurus with a particular subject. User warrant means the collection of terms based on users’ frequency of use of a term, while the literary warrant is carried out with an accurate survey of a word, phrase, or term contained in literature. The results of the analysis in the form of a thesaurus prototype can be used as a tool for document indexing and information retrieval. This becomes a tool for classifying and finding collections in the library as collections with various subjects grow. A thesaurus is a form of means of supervising controlled terms post-adjustment or post-coordination. In constructing the thesaurus, an arrangement of entries is formed to show equivalence relationships, hierarchical and associative. The results of the subject thesaurus construction can be used as a basis for further thesaurus development, which is more complete for the indexing process.

Abstract

The act of reading necessitates that student readers employ various cognitive and linguistic tactics to comprehend the meaning embedded within the text. Using an e-learning method through WhatsApp groups to teach reading comprehension on narrative texts can be a new breakthrough. Therefore, the present study aims to find out the effect of WhatsApp groups on narrative text in junior high school students to teach reading comprehension. To reach the research aims, the study used experimental research method. The population of this research was 330 students of grade 9 of junior high school in Pematangsiantar. The researchers divided the samples intor control group and experimental group. The data collection method used was the reading tests employed to the students which covered pre-test, treatment, and post-test. The statistical analysis employed t-test analysis. Comparison of data from both groups indicated superior performance by the experimental group. The findings unequivocally show that the experimental intervention employing WhatsApp have significant effect on students’ reading comprehension of narrative text compared to traditional approaches. While WhatsApp has proven to be an effective tool, researchers must consider the challenges of using it for reading instruction in remote areas with limited internet connectivity. Students cannot access WhatsApp-based reading lessons without internet access, though they can still search for information through text messages. Therefore, it is important to examine the limitations of utilizing WhatsApp for reading education in areas with poor internet infrastructure.

Abstract

This study investigates the potential impacts of President Trump’s protectionist policies on Indonesia’s export sector, with a particular focus on national economic resilience. The protectionist stance, which includes elevated tariffs and trade restrictions, has historically influenced global trade dynamics, affecting emerging markets like Indonesia. By conducting an extensive literature review, this paper aims to analyze previous instances of U.S. protectionist policies, particularly under Trump’s administration, and their repercussions on trade partners. The study examines the vulnerability of Indonesia’s key export sectors textiles, electronics, and agriculture and discusses the possible economic consequences, such as reduced GDP growth, increased trade imbalance, and employment risks. Findings from this review reveal that heightened U.S. protectionism could significantly disrupt Indonesia’s export flows, challenging the country’s economic stability. Policy implications underscore the need for Indonesia to diversify its export markets, enhance competitive capacities, and explore alternative economic strategies. This paper provides a comprehensive perspective on the indirect effects of U.S. economic policies on Indonesia, contributing valuable insights to policymakers and stakeholders preparing for future trade uncertainties.
