Abstract

This study aims to look at the relationship between the explosive power of the leg muscles and the accuracy of shooting futsal at the Baitul A'lla Elementary School extracurricular, Lubuklinggau City so that it can be seen whether there is a relationship. This type of research is quantitative, focusing more on data and numbers. The research method used by researchers is correlation. correlation is research to reveal the relationship between variables. This study intends to provide an overview of what information is about the level of muscle explosive power on the shooting abilities of students who take part in extracurricular futsal sports at Baitul A'lla Elementary School, Lubuklinggau City. The population of all athletes during training totaled 40 players and the porpusive sampling technique totaled 18 players. data collection techniques using test shooting on goal. data analysis techniques for normality test, linearity test, and hypothesis testing using the SPSS version 22 program, based on the significant value of Sig. (2-tailed): It is known that the Sig (2-tailed) value between the explosive power of the leg muscles (x) and the accuracy of shooting (y) is 0.000, <0.05. So it can be concluded that there is a positive relationship between the explosive power of the leg muscles and the ability Baitul A'lla Elementary School shooting, Lubuklinggau city. There is a significant relationship between leg muscle explosive power and shooting ability at Baitul A'la Elementary School, Lubuklinggau City. The correlation coefficient obtained is rcount 0.949 rtable 0.468 so Ho is accepted. Furthermore, the contribution of leg muscle explosive power to shooting ability has an effect on shooting ability with a contribution of .90.1%. Keywords: Limb Muscle Explosiveness, Shooting Accuracy

Abstract

Project Based Learning (PjBL) approach encourages students to be more active, independent, and creative problem solvers, thereby fostering character values such as creativity and curiosity. This research applies the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method to examine the PjBL model in mathematics education at the junior high school level. PjBL as a learning model involves teachers acting as facilitators who present students with project-based problems to solve independently. This approach stimulates students to design processes and frameworks to find solutions to given problems. The study focuses on various mathematical topics including Flat-Sided Spatial Structures (Cube, Rectangular Prism, and Prism), Curved-Sided Spatial Structures (Sphere, Cylinder, Cone), Quadratic Functions, Trigonometry, and Systems of Linear Equations with Two Variables (SLETV). The analysis concludes that the PjBL model enhances mathematical learning by promoting product-oriented learning, student-centered approaches, fostering critical thinking and real-life problem-solving skills, as well as encouraging collaborative abilities and competition among peers. These findings underscore the effectiveness of integrating PjBL into mathematics education and highlight its implications for fostering holistic student development.

Abstract

Collaborative learning through lesson study has become one of the promising methods for improving the quality of education and improving teachers' quality, likewise with the PMRI approach. The combination of the two in the training for primary school pre-service teachers, specifically in the second simulation session, was observed and reported. This article aims to describe the collaboration process in the second session of the simulations about polygon learning at PMRI training for primary school pre-service teachers. A design research method of the development type was used in this study, only at the preliminary and development or prototyping phase. The research subjects are students of Primary School Pre-service Teachers of Sriwijaya University that consisted of eight students for the small group and 32 students for the field test. Data was collected through documentation, observation, and field notes. The result showed that there were good collaboration occurs between researcher-lecturer, lecturer-student, and between students at the plan-do-see-redesign stage of the lesson study.

Abstract

This study aims to look at the the concept and application of understanding by design as a backward design curriculum for mathematics learning in Indonesia. The articles used as the core review source for this research were 5 articles that had a reputation of SINTA standards. From the results of the review, it was found the understanding, role and steps of UbD as an integral part of learning in Indonesia today. In mathematics learning, which is often a problem for students, the problem can be overcome by creating effective and interesting learning through learning with the UbD framework. Of course, the teacher's role as designer and facilitator has had a big influence, even though UbD is given the freedom to determine the direction of the material, this does not mean that the teacher underestimates the characteristics of students as well as their learning styles and interests. The conclusion of this research is to show the main focus in the understanding by design approach, namely emphasizing the desired results (learning objectives).

Abstract

Misconceptions related to the concepts underlying number sense represent one of the primary challenges faced by elementary school students in learning mathematics. This research analyzed the specific misconceptions encountered by elementary school students in Lubuklinggau, Indonesia, in relation to number sense, utilizing a five-tier diagnostic test. This qualitative descriptive study involved 28 Year 8 students from one of the Islamic School in Lubuklinggau who had previously studied number operations. Data collection was conducted using a five-tier diagnostic test and interviews. Data validity was ensured through triangulation. After administering the diagnostic test, the researchers cross-checked data through interviews and documentation. The data was analyzed in three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results indicate that (1) 27.6% of students experienced misconceptions; (2) the most prevalent type of misconception was the process-object error (31.5%); (3) the highest incidence of misconceptions occurred with the fifth indicator of number sense, assessing the reasonableness of a calculation (48.5%); and (4) the primary causal factor contributing to students' misconceptions was their own reasoning (0.97%).
