Abstract

E-Learning nowadays is still accessible via the web browser. E-Learning has a server named Learning Management System (LMS). LMS consists of a paid, unpaid and a tailor (version specially ordered). For this research, LMS is used which is not paid. There are lots of LMS are not paid, one of these is Claroline. The development of E-Learning is followed by the development of mobile devices such as Android devices. Android usage has increased each year but applications for E-Learning are still underdeveloped. Based on this background, then it is needed to develop an E-Learning application on Android mobile devices, because Android devices can support the development of client applications of E-Learning. The purpose of developing this application is to enable users who use Android devices to download the file from existing lecture materials wherever, whenever they want through their Android devices.In this research, the application is developed using Eclipse as an IDE using Java programming language for Android, XML, and of course the Claroline as the LMS server. This application is the complement of Claroline which is normally access through a web browser.The results of this research show that the client application is able to download files that exist on the lecture materials from Claroline server. Keywords : E-Learning, Android, Learning Management System, Claroline, Mobile Application, E-LearningApplication

Abstract

People need more information about geographical related objects, for example: distance between regions, object locations, facilities, natural resources etc. Geographic Information System (GIS)  is a solution for getting information on geographical related objects. The object of this research is Lampung culinary, because Lampung Province has many typical foods and many culinary places for young people, teenagers, and parents to gather. That culinary places can be categorized as café, restaurant, and many more. This application is developed using Microsoft Visual Basic Express 2010 and MapWinGIS ActiveX Control.  The development of this application implement Water Fall method.  Other supporting softwares  are My GPS Coordinates, Quantum GIS, and Microsoft Access Database.

Abstract

Berdasarkan surat edaran Dirjen Dikti No. 152/E/T/2012 tanggal 27 Januari 2012 yang dituju kepada :Rektor/Ketua/Direktur PTN/PTS di seluruh Indonesia menyatakan bahwa publikasi hasil penelitian menjadi persyaratan wajib bagi mahasiswa pasca untuk lulus, karena itu kualitas penelitian mahasiswa harus semakin baik dan dapat diterima di jurnal nasional terakreditasi atau jurnal international bereputasi. Hal ini menjadi tugas besar para pengelola program pascasarjana dan dosen-dosen pembimbing untuk mendorong dan melibatkan mahasiswa pasca untuk dapat mempublikasikan hasil penelitiannya. Salah satunya dengan memfasilitasi dengan literature-literature baik buku, maupun jurnal-jurnal yang berkualitas yang dapat diakses di perpustakaan lingkungan mahasiswa berada. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendesain manajemen perpustakaan berbasis digital. Hasil penelitiannya bahwa program perpustakaan digital telah dibuat dari tampilan awal masuk perpustakaan digital sampai proses peminjaman buku, namun tampilan perpustakan digital masih sederhana.

Abstract

Sentiment analysis is part of computational research that extracts textual data to obtain positive, or negative values related to a topic. In recent research, data are commonly acquired from social media, including Twitter, where users often provide their personal opinion about a particular subject. Energy independence was once a trending topic discussed in Indonesia, as the opinions are diverse, pros and cons, making it interesting to be analyzed. Deep learning is a branch of machine learning consisting of hidden layers of neural networks by applying non-linear transformations and high-level model abstractions in large databases. The recurrent neural network (RNN) is a deep learning method that processes data repeatedly, primarily suitable for handwriting, multi-word data, or voice recognition. This study compares three algorithms: Simple Neural Network, Bernoulli Naive Bayes, and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) in sentiment analysis using the energy independence data from Twitter. Based on the results, the Simple Recurrent Neural Network shows the best performance with an accuracy value of 78% compared to Bernoulli Naive Bayes value of 67% and LSTM with an accuracy value of 75%. Keywords— Sentiment Analysis; Simple RNN; LSTM; Bernoulli Naive Bayes; Energy Independence;

Abstract

Abstrak— Pengamatan pola penyebaran penduduk merupakan salah satu hal yang sangat penting bagi pemerintah. Informasi mengenai hal ini akan bermanfaat untuk pengambilan keputusan dalam perencanaan pembangunan di wilayah pemerintahan. Prediksi penyebaran jumlah penduduk akan sangat bermanfaat untuk perencanaan pembangunan di wilayah Bandar Lampung. Informasi mengenai penyebaran dan prediksi jumlah penduduk di wilayah Bandar Lampung masih diolah secara manual dengan penyajian masih terbatas dalam bentuk tabel dan grafik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun sistem informasi geografis berbasis web yang menampilkan pemetaan penyebaran dan prediksi jumlah penduduk berdasarkan metode geometrik di wilayah Bandar Lampung. Data pada penelitian ini diperoleh dari publikasi Badan Pusat Statistik Kota Bandar Lampung. Sistem ini diimplementasikan menggunakan Qgis, Geoserver, PostgreSQL dan bahasa pemrograman PHP. Hasil keseluruhan pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi geografis penyebaran dan prediksi jumlah penduduk telah sesuai baik dari segi fungsionalitasnya, maupun dari segi interaksi pelayanan pengguna.Kata Kunci— Sistem Informasi Geografis, Model Geometrik, Pemetaan Jumlah Penduduk.Abstract— Population distribution pattern is one of Bandar Lampung government concerns. This information is useful for goverment decision making for specific local development.The prediction of population number using certain model is predicted will be useful for Bandar Lampung development plan. Information about distribution and prediction of resident population in Bandar Lampung are processed manually and limitedly presented in form of tables and graphs. The purpose of this research is to build Bandar Lampung web based Geographic Information System that predict population distribution and mapping using Geometric Model. Data in this research were obtained from Statistics Of Bandar Lampung Municipality Publication. This system was implemented by using QGIS, GeoServer, PostgreSQL and PHP programming language. Overall,the testing results show that the system is appropriate and functional.Keywords— Geographic information system, Geometric Model, Mapping population.

Abstract

Toddler Growth Chart held by parents is a book that consists of a toddler's growth history which holds by Maternal and Child Health Services (Posyandu) officer. Growth Chartbook still uses traditional ways, written by hands to records all of the toddler's growth. Posyandu reports that sent to the Public Health Center (Puskesmas) every month still proceeds with a spreadsheet, and it makes Posyandu officers felt the difficulty of processing the data, like record, search, and store the data. e-KMS Apps can help Posyandu officers for easy recording and searching , and tracing data history.  It also helps Posyandu officers to make Posyandu reports easily. This app helps toddler’s parents to control their toddler’s growth and make the parents feel easy about how to take care of the toddlers. This application is equipped with features of calculating nutrition status and presenting toddler nutrition status data in the graph based on WHO (World Health Organization) standards in 2006, Posyandu activities, calculation of nutritional status for parents of children under five to be able for knowing the nutritional status of toddlers anywhere and at any time without waiting for the Posyandu schedule. It also provides tips and tricks for caring for toddlers to inform parents how to care for toddlers, and manages Posyandu reports every month to control the condition of toddlers.Keywords: Android, Growth Chart, Nutritional Status, Child Health Service.Kartu Menuju Sehat (KMS) merupakan kartu yang berisi data kesehatan bayi secara berkala yang dipegang oleh orang tua.  Pembukuan data ini mempersulit kader posyandu dalam pencatatan, pencarian dan penyimpanan data Balita. Selama ini Laporan Posyandu dikumpulkan ke Puskesmas pada tiap bulan dan diolah menggunakan spreadsheet.  Tidak jarang cara ini sering mengakibatkan proses pengiputan mengalami kesalahan. Aplikasi mobile KMS (e-KMS) dapat mempermudah kader Posyandu dalam proses di atas sekaligus dapat mengelola laporan Posyandu dengan lebih mudah. Aplikasi ini juga mempermudah orang tua dalam memonitor kondisi perkembangan balita dan mengetahui bagaimana cara merawat balita.  Fitur-fitur lain yang disediakan pada e-KMS diantaranya adalah perhitungan status gizi dan penyajiannya dalam bentuk grafik menggunakan standar WHO (World Health Organization), dan informasi kegiatan Posyandu. Tips dan trik merawat balita disediakan juga untuk memberi membantu pada orang tua cara merawat Balita.                     Kata Kunci: Android, KMS (Kartu Menuju Sehat), Posyandu, status gizi balita.

Abstract

Karet (Hevea brasiliensis) termasuk dalam genus Hevea dari familia Euphorbiaceae, merupakan pohon kayu tropis yang berasal dari hutan Amazon. Banyak artikel dan penelitian yang menyebutkan bahwa hingga saat ini Indonesia telah memiliki luas areal perkebunan karet terluas namun tidak didukung dengan produktivitas yang tinggi. Hal tersebut tentu saja akan menimbulkan kerugian ekonomi. Kerugian ekonomi dari budidaya karet disebabkan adanya serangan penyakit. Pengetahuan para petani tentang penanganan penyakit pada tanaman karet juga masih rendah. Namun, seiring dengan kemajuan teknologi dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan saat ini menjadikan para pengembang teknologi untuk membuat aplikasi baru yang lebih memudahkan masyarakat dalam memperoleh informasi. Metode certainty factor sering digunakan dalam sistem pakar agar terlihat lebih natural. Penelitian ini menekankan pada dua aspek utama yaitu gejala-gejala dan jenis penyakit pada pohon karet. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode certainty factor pada penelitian ini, memiliki akurasi sebesar 100% dari hasil diagnosa sistem pakar.

Abstract

This research was conducted to create a decision support system for selection of candidates for receiving Regional Operational Assistance (BOSDA) in SMK Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung. Decision support systems are made based on the Web and selection of candidates for BOSDA acceptance using the method (Simple Additive Weighting). The data used from the data of SMK Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung. The selection process for prospective BOSDA recipients is carried out by collecting data on prospective BOSDA recipients along with criteria in accordance with the conditions of prospective BOSDA recipients. Data that has been received is processed by the system by determining the priority of each criterion and summing the weight of each criterion value. The result of system functional testing is that the system is compatible on the computer on the computer being tested and all menus on the system are running well. System testing is performed on the Administration computer SMK Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung. The system test results using Black Box Testing using 220 prospective BOSDA recipient students. Based on testing that has been conducted on users, the system can simplify the performance of the verification team in conducting the selection so that it can run effectively and efficiently. Based on the accuracy of the results of the system decision, it is stated that 87% has met the criteria for selecting potential recipients who are entitled to BOSDA.

Abstract

The Computer Science Department Library of The University of Lampung has implemented a library information system. However, the library information system is only to simplify the book search process and is not yet able to display book information directly. Based on this system, to carry out borrowing and returning books, they still use manual methods, so that in terms of service time efficiency, of course, this is still less effective. For services to library users to be more effective, a digital library system is needed that can accommodate users' needs to access book collections online. The development of the digital library was made beforehand on a small scale which was specialized in the Computer Science Department, University of Lampung. This digital library was built using android and web-based programming with the Java programming language, Php, and MySQL database. The data collection method used is the observation and literature study method. The results of the literature study are taking references based on books, journals, and the internet which provide information about previous research regarding digital library applications as well as related information about Android, Android Studio, and language. Java programming. The results of this study indicate that the application has been successfully built using an online database, based on Android and can be run on a mobile device so that the application supports it to be used anytime and anywhere and also this library system makes it easy for admins to manage book data and make it easier to create library reports.

Abstract

Reference letters play an important role in the management of population administration at the sub-district (kelurahan) level. When the residents need a reference letter for their specific purpose, they first must manage the request letter from RT and deliver it to the sub-district office. However, during the COVID-19 pandemic, direct interaction among residents and sub-district officers should be avoided. Even, in some circumstances, the services by the sub-district office must be performed online. For this reason, a web-based RT Level Letter Administration Information System was developed by applying the waterfall approach. The user interaction and communication are modeled by Unified Modeling Language (UML). The system is implemented using PHP. The assessment of the functionality of the system by the Black Box Testing indicates that the system conforms to its requirements. This system is ready to deploy in RT 040 of sub-district Pesawahan, Bandar Lampung to serve residents.
