Nonetheless, a disparity exists between the immense possibilities of the hortikultura field and the minimal execution of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), particularly amidst petani mitra Okiagaru Agricoop. This research endeavors to scrutinize the perspective ofOkiagaru Agricoop's partner farmers towards the application of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) in horticultural crop cultivation in Cianjur Regency, West Java. GAP is an agricultural standard guideline that aims to increase productivity and product quality, maintain environmental sustainability, and improve farmers' welfare. This research employs narrative-focused analytical techniques and numerical procedures. Information gathering was executed via surveys, intensive consultations, and site inspections. Fact processing was performed utilizing explanatory metrics to depict petani impressions regarding diverse facets of the Good Agricultural Practices adoption and arithmetic systems with an integrated evaluation methodology. The findings of the exploration reveal that the preponderance of farmers have a positive perception of the implementation of GAP, especially in improving crop quality and environmental sustainability. The main factors that affect farmers' perceptions include farmer experience, availability of facilities, and sustainability, cost of implementing GAP, knowledge about GAP, and counseling. The study concludes that increasing positive perceptions of GAP can be achieved through education, training, and incentivization for GAP-certified products. Keywords: Good Agricultural Practices, farmer perception, horticulture, Okiagaru Agricoop.

Sukahurip Organic Coffee Plantation has experienced a decline in income due to low profit margins and has minimum product value added. This study aims to design the establishment of a coffee shop to ensure business sustainability by identifying consumer characteristics, analyzing consumer preferences, analyzing product value added, and analyzing business feasibility. The methods used include conjoint method, Hayami method, and business feasibility analysis. The results show that consumers prefer affordable coffee with a balanced flavor profile in terms of acidity and body. The value-added analysis indicates that all product variants provide more than 70% value added and over 90% profit. Non-financial aspects also support the business feasibility, with a strategic location and clearly defined target market. Financial aspects coffee shop business is deemed feasible, with an NPV of Rp383.948.160, IRR of 44%, a net B/C ratio of 3,01 (>1), a gross B/C ratio of 1,35 (>1), and a payback period of 5,55 years. The switching value analysis shows the business remains feasible even under a revenue decline of up to 26,172%, an arabica and robusta bean price increase of up to 245,36% and 278%.

Abstract

Kandungan gizi memiliki nilai sikap terendah (0,0872), menunjukkan atribut ini paling mendekati harapan konsumen, sementara rasa memiliki kesenjangan terbesar (1,2168) sehingga memerlukan peningkatan. Secara keseluruhan, produk Cassava Cravings memenuhi ekspektasi konsumen, namun perlu fokus pada pengembangan atribut rasa dan tekstur untuk meningkatkan daya saing di pasar.

Abstract

As the years progress in Indonesia, the price and production of chilies tends to fluctuate. This is due to an increase in input costs or production facilities which increase every year, causing price factors for farmers and consumers to tend to change. This literature review analysis aims to determine: (1) factors that significantly influence chili price fluctuations; (2) the influence of production efficiency on the productivity of chili farmers; (3) the influence of marketing channels involved in red chili farming on price fluctuations. The method used is descriptive analysis method with literature study. The results of the literature show that factors that significantly influence price fluctuations are production costs, production facilities, selling price factors, weather factors, use of technology, length of the supply chain where the longer the marketing channel, the higher the price received by final consumers while prices at the farmer level do not experience increase, as well as the availability of red chilies on the market, where if the availability of red chilies is abundant on the market it will cause a decrease in prices at the farmer and consumer level. The results of literature observations show that these three topics are mutually sustainable. So there is an opportunity for further research related to the three subjects for more accurate measurements based on findings in the field.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze quality control in the tempe production process at Rumah Tempe Indonesia (RTI), Bogor, using the Seven Tools method. The data were collected through field observations, interviews with the production manager, and recording the types and quantities of defects over a one-month periode in February 2026. The analysis identified four main types of defects, namely overcooked, damaged packaging. spoiled tempe, and yellowing tempe, with a total of 353 defective products. Based on the Pareto diagram, overcooked tempe and damaged packaging were found to be the dominant defects, contributing to more than 70% of total defects. The scatter diagram analysis indicates that production volume does not have a strong relationship with the defect rate, suggesting that defects can still occur under both high and low production conditions. Meanwhile, the control chart shows that the production process is not yet fully under statistical control. Furthermore, the fishbone diagram analysis reveals that the causes of defects are influenced by several factors, including human, method, material, environment, and machine. This study recommends improving supervision during fermentation and packaging processes, as well as enhancing quality recording systems to improve overall product quality.
