Abstract

Abstract. PT. Mitrabara Adiperdana, Tbk is a company engaged in coal mining which was established in Kec. South Malinau in Kab. Malinau Province of North Kalimantan. To support coal production activities, PT. Mitrabara Adiperdana, Tbk has to pump the water in the sump and then process it to be released into the river. During the first semester of 2018, the average air processed by PT. MItrabara Adiperdana, Tbk in WWTP01 is 1,600,000 m3/month. The dose of coagulant use is 173 ppm and flocculant 44 ppm to produce outlets 130-140 mg / l. After optimizing the dosage, an optimal dosage is obtained, namely 160 ppm coagulant dose and 40 pm flocculant dose to produce final tss 190 mg / l, still included in the Environmental Quality Standards. After that the dose optimization is done, the chemical needs of PT. Mitrabara Adiperdana, Tbk in each month is 256,000 kg of coagulant and 64,000 kg of flocculant.Keywords: Waste Water Treatment,Optimasi, Koagulasi, Flokulasi, Total suspendi solid

Abstract

Abstract. In meeting the criteria for consumer demand, PT. Wijaya Karya Bitumen strives to produce products according to consumer desires. Currently, the demand for specific natural asphalt content, namely 21% asphalt content and maximum water content of 2% with a total of 5000 tons makes it difficult for companies to meet these consumer criteria, therefore a mixing formula is needed for natural asphalt with different types of quality to meet consumer demand. The method used to obtain the mixing result was the simplex method with two variables, then the natural asphalt used for mixing was 19% bitumen content and 1.8% moisture content with 24% bitumen content and 2% moisture content. After calculating the results of the calculation of the results of mixing natural asphalt with a mixing ratio of 3: 2, the results of these calculations can be used for mixing natural asphalt following the criteria of consumer demand at PT. Abstract

PT. Nusa Alam Lestari is a company engaged in coal mining that implements an underground mining system and has great risks and dangers, so it is necessary to take action to raise awareness of the importance of occupational health and safety at every stage of the activity. Hazards and risks can occur when ventilation installation activities and support installation activities take place, it is necessary to identify potential hazards to obtain data on potential hazards, then carry out weighting to determine control plans that are suitable for conditions Hazard potential analysis and risk control in this study used the hazard identification method, risk assessment and risk control (HIRARC) using the likelihood and saverity parameters to obtain a value for each hazard risk. Data obtained using questionnaires, interviews, and observations of work activities. The results showed that the identified risks in the ventilation installation were 18 potential hazards that might occur. Questionnaire analysis using the HIRARC method found the level of risk in the ventilation installation work, namely moderate risk (moderate risk) 11% with the criteria of slipping and falling while carrying the wind hose in the tunnel and colliding with the tunnel roof support when carrying the wind hose in the tunnel. The identified risks in the installation of supports are 27 potential hazards that may occur. Questionnaire analysis using the HIRARC method found the level of risk in the work of installing the supports, namely high risk (high risk) 4% with the criteria of being hit by hanging rocks when dismantling old supports and moderate risk (medium risk) 11% with the criteria of slipping and falling while transporting wooden supports collided with the support for the roof of the tunnel while transporting the support logs, crushed the support wood when dismantling the old support Meanwhile, the risk control uses the hierarchy of control method, namely elimination, substitution, engineering control, administrative control, and PPE.

Abstract

Abstract. PT. Nusa Alam Lestari is an underground coal mining company located in Salak Village, Talawi District, Sawahlunto, West Sumatra. PT. Nusa Alam Lestari has implemented Occupational Safety and Health (HSE) in mining activities, but the application is still not optimal. This is due to the lack of signs and posters of HSE in the work area, not optimal use of personal protective equipment (PPE), some workers who do not comply with company regulations, the occurrence of work accidents, some workers who argue when given directions, the need for existing JSA and SOP television, and the creation of job safety analysis (JSA) and standard operating procedure (SOP) needed. Occupational Safety and Health evaluation that has been applied using questionnaires with knowledge value of 75.74, attitude value of 85.27, and action value of 79.91. Where the overall result of the questionnaire with a score of 80.31. If the value is adjusted based on the likert scale owned at a very good range (80-100). Abstract

Abstract. PT. Timah Tbk (TINS) is the largest tin producer in the World. One of the products produced by TINS is tin with 99.99% Sn content, it is the result of the electrolytic refining process with electrolysis method. Electrolysis is influenced by several factors such as electric current and voltage, electrode dimensions, pH and the concentration of the electrolyte solution used. This research has aim to determine the appropriate values of voltage and electrolyte concentration values to optimize the tin (Sn) electrolysis process. The research was carried out in two stages experiment using electrolyte Stannous Chloride (SnCl2) dissolved with Hydrochloric Acid (HCl) and Aquadest. The first with the voltage values of 6, 9, and 12 volts at the electrolyte solution concentration of 0.001 M, the reduced Sn mass was 0.04257, 0.0885, and 0.1182 grams. The next with the electrolyte solution concentration of 0,002, 0,003, 0,004 and 0,005 M at the voltage 12 Volts, the reduced Sn mass was 0,1620, 0,2005, 0,3318 and 0,4158 grams. It is known that the optimal electrolysis process is with a voltage of 12 Volts and a electrolyte solution concentration of 0.005 M. This shows the effect of increasing voltage and electrolyte solution concentration values, will optimize electrolysis process.Keywords: Electrolysis, Electrolyte Solution Concentration, Electrolytic Refining, Tin, Voltage.

Abstract

ABSTRAK  Penelitian mengenai pengolahan tembaga (Cu) dalam sampel batuan  menggunakan metode ekstraksi pelarut kelat ditizon dengan variasi waktu dan pH telah dilakukan.Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah conto batuan yang berasal dari Kecamatan Bonjol, Kabupaten Pasaman, Sumatera Barat.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pH dan waktu dalam pengolahan tembaga dengan menggunakan metode ekstraksi pelarut kelat ditizon. Kadar Logam tembaga (Cu) diukur dengan menggunakan alat Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS).Hasil yang didapat menunjukkan bahwa waktu pengolahan yang optimal terjadi selama waktu 10 menit, sedangkan pH pengolahan yang optimal terjadi pada pH 7. Kadar yang didapat jika menggunakan metode ektraksi pelarut kelat ditizon sebesar 1,60 ppm, sedangkan dengan  menggunakan pelarut asam didapat kadar rata-rata sebesar 0,45 ppm. Terjadi peningkatan recovery sebesar 3,5x apabila menggunakan metode ekstraksi pelarut kelat ditizon. Keywords : Tembaga (Cu), pH optimum, waktu optimum, Pengolahan ABSTRACT The research about copper (Cu) processing of the rock sample using the chelating dithizone solvent extraction  method by time and pH variation has been done. The sample used in this research is rock sample taken from Bonjol sub-district, Pasaman district, West Sumatera.The purpose of this research is to find out the influence of pH and time in copper processing by using chelating dithizone solvent extraction  method by time and pH variation. The content of copper (Cu) metal measured by using Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS).The result shows that 10 minutes are the optimum time to proceed. Meanwhile 7 is the optimum pH to proceed. The average content can be obtained by using 1. 60 ppm chelating dithizone solvent extraction method, meanwhile by using acid solvent 0. 45 ppm the average content can be obtained. The content increases as big as 3.5x by using chelating dithizone solvent extraction method. Key words: Copper (Cu), pH Optimum, Time Optimum, Processing.

Abstract

Abstrak. PT. Bima Putra Abadi Citranusa is a subsidiary of the Bomba Group, this company is a domestic mining company engaged in coal mining. PT. BPAC started operations in July 2020 using the open pit mining method. The accident rate at PT. Bima Putra Abadi Citranusa in 2020 were 12 accidents that occurred in September – December 2020. The data collection technique used a work activity questionnaire. The results of data collection that have been obtained from surveys at mining sites will be arranged systematically and can be used as material for analysis in seeing the level of work safety (K3) in the process of mining activities using the HIRARC method. Identification of hazards and risks 38,23% is a hazard condition that has the lowest severity there are 13 conditions contained in the process of mobilizing heavy equipment, the process of transporting coal with DT, the process of dumping in the stock rom, the pump installation process, the process of driving the LV unit. Identification of hazards and risks 35,29% is a hazard condition that has moderate severity there are 12 hazard conditions contained in the process of mobilizing heavy equipment, loading process using excavators, coal hauling process with DT, dumping process in stock rom, pump installation process, process driving the LV unit Identification of hazards and risks 14,70% is a hazard condition that has a significant severity there are 5 hazard conditions contained in the process of transporting coal with DT, the process of driving an lv unit, activities at night activities. Identification of hazards and risks of 11.76% is a hazard condition that has a high severity level, there are 4 conditions contained in the process of loading with an excavator into the DT, the process of transporting coal with the DT, the pump installation process, activities at night. Kata kunci: Coal Mining, Hazard Identification And Safety Risk Assessment, HIRARC, Hazard Potential.

Abstract

Berbagai model pembelajaran baru banyak dikembangkan, tetapi tidak semuanya model pembelajaran efektif pada pendidikan kejuruan. Pendidikan kejuruan membutuhkan model pembelajaran yang dapat mendorong berfikir kritis dan keterampilan praktis dengan pembelajaran berupusat pada siswa serta pemanfaatan teknologi terkini. Untuk itu penelitian ini bertujuan membahas efektifitas model pembelajaran Flipped Classroom di pendidikan kejuruan yang menjadi salah satu model pembelajaran yang belum lama ini dikembangkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode meta analisis dengan jenis data sekunder. Data yang diperoleh berupa hasil nilai post test kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen dari artikel penelitian yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Flipped Classroom di berbagai pendidikan kejuruan. Sebanyak 15 artikel penelitian dibedah dan data yang diperoleh dikalkulasi menggunakan rumus effect size (ES). Hasil kalkulasi menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Flipped Classroom memiliki efek yang tinggi terhadap hasil belajar pada pendidikan kejuruan di berbagai bidang keahlian. Dengan demikian model pembelajaran Flipped Classroom sangat efektif dan tepat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran pendidikan kejuruan untuk menghasilkan lulusan yang siap kerja atau berwirausaha.AbstractVarious new learning models have been developed, but not all of them are effective learning models in vocational education. Vocational education requires a learning model that can encourage critical thinking and practical skills with student-centered learning and the use of the latest technology. For this reason, this study aims to discuss the effectiveness of the Flipped Classroom learning model in vocational education which is one of the recently developed learning models. This study uses a meta-analysis method with secondary data types. The data obtained are in the form of the results of the post-test scores of the control class and the experimental class from research articles using the Flipped Classroom learning model in various vocational education. A total of 15 research articles were dissected and the data obtained were calculated using the effect size (ES) formula. The calculation results show that the Flipped Classroom learning model has a high effect on learning outcomes in vocational education in various fields of expertise. Thus the Flipped Classroom learning model is very effective and appropriate to use in the vocational education learning process to produce graduates who are ready to work or become entrepreneurs.

Abstract

Ada banyak jenis jenis dari model pembelajaran, tetapi tidak semua model pembelajaran dapat mengakomodir kebutuhan pendidikan kejuruan dan tantangan dari revolusi industri 4.0 yaitu mendorong berpikir kritis dan mengembangkan keterampilan praktis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengukur efektivitas penggunaan metode pembelajaran berbasis proyek dalam pendidikan kejuruan. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode meta analisis dengan jenis data sekunder. Data penelitian berdasarkan hasil post-test kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen dari beberapa artikel penelitian yang menggunakan metode project based learningdalam pendidikan kejuruan. Sebanyak 23 artikel diulas sehingga diperoleh data hasil kalkulasi 1,09 dengan menggunakan rumus effect size (ES). Hasil yang diperoleh ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode pembelajaran berbasis proyek dalam pendidikan kejuruan memiliki efek yang tinggi untuk diterapkan dalam pembelajaran. Dengan demikian maka metode pembelajaran berbasis proyek dalam pendidikan teknologi dan kejuruan sangat efektif dan tepat digunakan dalam pembelajaran untuk menghasilkan peserta didik yang siap bersaing dalam dunia kerja serta dapat membuka peluang usaha.

Abstract

Coal mining will form acid mine drainage in former open pit mines. If acid mine water enters community waters, it will cause disturbance to biota and decrease water quality. Sawahlunto is one of the cities in Indonesia that has a coal mining area located near a settlement. With the acid mine drainage, if it rains, the water will flow into the river where the water is used by the community. Part of the coal is used as fuel for the Sijantang Sawahlunto PLTU. The fuel also produces waste in the form of combustion ash known as fly ash and bottom ash (FABA). This study uses FABA to neutralize acid mine water to meet the community's irrigation water needs. This research will determine the appropriate mass of FABA in neutralizing acid mine drainage. Acid mine water comes from the former mining pit of PT. High Guguak Coal with a pH of 2.88. Then the acid sample is brought to the laboratory to be mixed with FABA and lime. 4.98 grams of FABA with 0.02 lime can neutralize 200 mL of acid mine drainage and change the pH from 2.88 to 7.91. FABA can be included in the settling pond to neutralize acidic water before it is released into community waters.
