The participants of this study were teachers working in one district in West Sumatra Province, which was selected to represent the organizational conditions of educational institutions in the region. The sampling technique used was area sampling, refined with proportional sampling, resulting in a total sample of 302 teachers from various educational units. Data were collected using the Psychological Capital Questionnaire to measure teachers’ psychological capital and the Survey of Perceived Organizational Support to assess teachers’ perceptions of organizational support. The collected data were analyzed using statistical analysis techniques to determine the contribution of the independent variable to the dependent variable. The results of the data analysis indicated that perceived organizational support contributed 23.1% (R² = 0.231) to teachers’ psychological capital. These findings suggest that organizational support plays a significant role in enhancing teachers’ positive psychological conditions in carrying out their professional duties.

The increasing prevalence of quiet quitting among Generation Z employees has raised concerns regarding its implications for employee well-being and psychological health in the workplace. This study examines the relationship between quiet quitting and employee well-being, with burnout positioned as a mediating variable among Generation Z employees working at a Honda-affiliated company in Padang City, Indonesia. A quantitative correlational design was employed, involving 100 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using standardized self-report questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation analysis, and mediation analysis through path modeling. The results indicate that quiet quitting is positively associated with burnout and negatively associated with employee well-being. Further analysis reveals that quiet quitting has a significant direct negative effect on employee well-being, as well as an indirect effect through increased levels of burnout, indicating partial mediation. The proposed model explains 5.6% of the variance in burnout and 23.2% of the variance in employee well-being, confirm that disengagement behaviors contribute meaningfully, though not exclusively, to employees’ psychological outcomes. Overall, the findings confirm that quiet quitting represents maladaptive disengagement rather than a protective coping strategy, as it is linked to emotional exhaustion and reduced workplace well-being. These results highlight the importance of organizational interventions aimed at reducing burnout and fostering healthy engagement to support the psychological well-being of young employees and promote sustainable work environments.

This study aims to analyse the relationship between work engagement and eudaimonic workplace well-being among secondary school teachers, emphasising the importance of work engagement as a source of psychological well-being based on meaning and self-actualisation within the school environment. The study employs a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The research sample comprised 45 secondary school teachers selected using total sampling. Data were collected using scales measuring work engagement and eudaimonic workplace well-being, and were analysed using Pearson’s Product-Moment correlation test with the aid of SPSS version 26. The results of the analysis indicate a strong and significant positive relationship between work engagement and eudaimonic workplace well-being (r = 0.661; p = 0.000). These findings suggest that teachers with high levels of work engagement tend to have better workplace well-being, particularly in terms of the meaning of work, personal growth, and a sense of making a positive contribution in the workplace. This study makes an empirical contribution by strengthening the evidence that increased work engagement is a key factor in the development of eudaimonic-based teacher well-being, and can serve as a basis for the formulation of policies and human resource management interventions in the field of education.

This study aims to describe the motivation of young entrepreneurs experiencing fatherlessness, namely the physical and psychological absence of a father in their child's life. This study uses a qualitative approach with a narrative-biographical method to understand the subject's life experiences in depth. The subject of the study was a young entrepreneur experiencing fatherlessness, with additional informants from the immediate family. Data collection techniques were carried out through in-depth semi-structured interviews, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the subject's motivation is formed through intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. Intrinsic motivation arises from the desire to improve the family's economic condition, achieve a better life, and become an independent individual. Meanwhile, extrinsic motivation is influenced by family support, the social environment, and work experience. The subject's fatherlessness is characterized by minimal attention, the absence of a father's role, and experiences of verbal and physical violence that result in trauma and low emotional closeness. However, the subject is able to build resilience so that these experiences actually become a driving force in achieving entrepreneurial success. This research shows that negative family experiences do not always have a destructive impact, but can be a source of motivation in achieving life goals

This study aims to examine the entrepreneurial motivation of resilient cosmetics entrepreneurs. This study employs a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The research participants consist of two individuals: a male and a female cosmetics entrepreneur. Data collection was conducted through semi-structured interviews. Data analysis was carried out using Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA), which emphasises the process of reflecting on and interpreting the participants’ life experiences. The stages of analysis included repeated reading of the transcripts, initial note-taking, the development of emergent themes, the grouping of themes, and an in-depth interpretation of the meaning of the participants’ experiences. Data validity was ensured through credibility techniques, namely source triangulation and the verification of interpretative results with the participants. The research findings indicate that entrepreneurial motivation is influenced by intrinsic factors such as a desire for independence, interest, and a desire to improve well-being, as well as extrinsic factors such as social support, work experience, and market opportunities. Furthermore, aspects of risk tolerance, business viability, and a desire to work independently are key factors in driving the success of a cosmetics business.

Workplace well-being has become an increasingly prominent topic in psychology, both nationally and internationally, particularly in the context of eudaimonic well-being, which emphasizes meaning and self-actualization in the workplace. One contributing factor to high eudaimonic workplace well-being is hardiness—the individual’s capacity to face stress with a sense of commitment, control, and challenge. This study aims to examine the relationship between hardiness and eudaimonic workplace well-being among firefighters and rescue officers in Bukittinggi City. A quantitative correlational method was employed, involving 43 field firefighters selected through total sampling. The instruments used included an Indonesian-adapted eudaimonic workplace well-being scale based on two dimensions: interpersonal and intrapersonal well-being, and a hardiness scale comprising the dimensions of commitment, control, and challenge. Spearman correlation analysis revealed a significant positive relationship between hardiness and eudaimonic workplace well-being (correlation coefficient = 0.417; p < 0.05). The study concludes that higher levels of hardiness are associated with greater eudaimonic well-being at work among firefighters. These findings offer practical implications for human resource management, particularly in fostering psychological resilience to enhance the quality of workplace well-being among fire and rescue personnel.
