This research was conducted in three major cities in Indonesia (Medan, Yogyakarta, and Makassar). The choice of location was based on the representation of high schools in Indonesia. These cities have different Rohis characteristics from other cities. This study aims to know access to Islamic information literacy among Rohis activists in Indonesia. Rohis became an important pillar in shaping the Islamic model in public schools because it was considered as a reference for Islam in schools. The research model used is qualitative, by analyzing in-depth data through the point of view of the informant through the FGD. The results showed that of the three cities sampled had different characteristics of Islamic information access. The cities of Medan and Makassar are more dominated by social media such as Instagram and Youtube. Also, Makassar has a popular local figure who is a source of reference. The city of Yogyakarta is more dominantly influenced by educational institutions, religious organizations, and local religious leaders that can be accessed directly. Models of access to information construct Rohis religious diversity and their views of different countries and people so that they tend to follow the religious model of the figures and sources of information that are most often accessed and consumed.

The internet is something that people use the most every day. The dominant internet users come from groups of teenagers or students. It is often found that individuals who abuse the internet need to be educated on how to surf the internet in a healthy way. Healthy Internet is a program from the Indonesian government designed by the Indonesian Ministry of Communication and Information (Kemkominfo). The purpose of this study was to find out how healthy internet usage is among the people of Sigara-gara Village. The research method used is qualitative descriptive, the number of samples is 48 respondents. The analysis used is univariate analysis and Cartesian diagram. This research was conducted in Sigara-gara Village, Patmbak District, Deli Serdang Regency. The result of this research is that it is found that the people of Sigara-gara village are still not good at using the internet in their daily life as evidenced by the survey results as many as 48 respondents out of 240 people have used the internet. Around 40.8% of 80% of the Sigara Village Community work as entrepreneurs.

Kemajuan teknologi dan informasi saat ini telah memberikan perubahan besar dalam tatanan hidup masyarakat. Kini perkembangan teknologi telah menjadi indikator kemajuan suatu negara. Kuatnya arus globalisasi mendorong kemajuan teknologi, informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) yang kemudian membawa dan memaksa perubahan tata kelola bagi berbagai sektor, mulai dari bisnis hingga pemerintahan. Smart village adalah konsep pembangunan desa yang memberikan edukasi atau informasi masalah desa dengan memanfaatkan teknologi untuk memberikan layanan dan kemudahan akses informasi kepada warga desa. Kebanyakan pembangunan smart village yang dilakukan di Indonesia belum berdasarkan identifikasi kebutuhan dari desa itu sendiri, tetapi mengikuti kegiatan yang telah dilakukan oleh desa lain. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk dapat memberdayakan masyarakat di Desa Suka Meriah Siosar dengan konsep Smart Village dengan menggunakan metode Community Based Participatory Action Research (CBPAR). Dengan melibatkan masyarakat sebagai mitra dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini, maka kegiatan dapat berjalan sesuai dengan kebutuhan dari masyarakat di Desa Suka Meriah Siosar.

This study aims to determine the behavior in searching for user information in meeting the information needs of the UINSU Tuntungan library, to determine the behavior pattern in searching for user information in meeting information needs at the UINSU Tuntungan library, to find out the obstacles that occur in searching for user information in an effort to fulfill information needs of the UINSU Tuntungan library. This research uses the type of qualitative research that requires as much information and data as possible to achieve the research objectives. This type of research is a case study because this research is carried out in depth on an institution and with a narrow subject. As a case study, the data collected came from various library sources. This study resulted that in order to determine the behavior of the user before searching for information, the researcher conducted interviews with several informants who were considered to be able to provide information to the researcher. There are several stages that can be used by users in finding information in the library. In conducting information search there are 6 stages developed by Kuhlthau, namely initiation, selection, exploration, formulation, collection and presentation. In this study, library users were used as a source and the survey subjects were information seeking behavior at the UISU Medan Library lending and borrowing service, which also included the initiation, chaining, tracking, sorting, monitoring, selection and confirmation phases as well as the termination phases such as restrictions and occupancy factors. The purpose of this research is to find out how users search for information. The method used in this study is a qualitative method in which the collected data is compiled and analyzed. With this method, user behavior in the process of searching for information at the UISU Medan library loan service is described and analyzed. The results of the study show that the search for information in the UISU library is very flexible due to the different scope and research objectives and the information needs of each user of the UISU library. In the UISU library lending service, it is necessary to renew the user's ability to search for information, so that readers' views of various sources of information and information retrieval are better and more accurate. This study aims to determine the interests and abilities of UINSU students in finding information in the UINSU library, to determine the literacy level of UINSU students, to determine the level of ability of UINSU students to search for information in the UINSU library, to determine the motivating factors of UINSU students in seeking information at UINSU. UNISU library. This study uses a descriptive research type, which means a systematic, factual, and accurate description of the facts, characteristics and relationships between the phenomena being investigated. Research that uses descriptive type is research that is intended to describe, describe, or explain the state of the object being studied as it is about how to find out how the information literacy skills of UINSU students are in finding information. This research results that UINSU Library Science students have a high literacy level and of course this is reflected in the information literacy that has been applied in information retrieval. Behavior to monitor information is said to be someone's action to find information in certain ways because some people will have several ways to access information, including for students in SMK. Efforts made to obtain information can be done in two ways, namely by manual method or by digitizing. The method that can be carried out by researchers is a type of library research research method using previous information to increase the relevance of the titles that the authors have chosen. The results showed that the efforts to meet the information needs were carried out by SMK students in two ways, namely by using the internet and by visiting the library manually. This study aims to determine information search behavior by users in the service circulation of the University of North Sumatra Library. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data collection technique used in this research is observation. This study took the subject of the library users as informants and the object of research was information seeking behavior in the circulation of the University of North Sumatra Library. most of the visitors to the library are for the purpose of seeking information, only a small portion is for reading, thus giving rise to several possibilities for library visitors, such as; Some visitors come to the library for the purpose of information, reading and meditation. The information we get actually comes from a process of producing information. This is called information discovery theory, starting with: Initiation, formulation, exploration, formulation, collection, presentation. Penelitian ini ini dilakukan di Museum Uang Sumatera yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui metode pelestarian dokumen numismatik, serta apa saja kendala yang dihadapi pengelola Museum Uang Sumatera dalam upaya pelestarian dokumen numismatik. Jenis metode yang dipakai pada penelitian adalah kualitatif deskriptif melalui pembuatan gambar terhadap data yang telah diperoleh sesuai keadaan yang sesungguhnya. Untuk menentukan orang yang akan menjadi sumber informasi maka memanfaatkan metode purposive sampling. Pada penelitian yang dilaksanakan, maka yang menjadi informan yaitu dua staf pegawai yang bekerja sebagai pengelola Museum Uang Sumatera. Data dikumpulkan melalui kegiatan observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa, metode pelestarian yang dilakukan oleh Museum Uang Sumatera menggunakan dua metode yaitu metode Laminasi merupakan metode yang dilakukan untuk penjilidan, menambal, atau menyambung pada uang kertas yang sudah rusak, sedangkan metode Enkapsulasi merupakan metode yang dilakukan pada uang koin kuno yang telah mengalami korosi atau perkaratan. Adapun kendala yang dihadapi pengelola Museum Uang Sumatera dalam melakukan pelestarian terhadap dokumen numismatik (uang kuno) yaitu kurangnya SDM, anggaran dana, dan alat-alat untuk melakukan pelestarian terhadap dokumen numismatik (uang kuno) di Museum Uang Sumatera.
