Abstract

Backgorund of The Study: Bullying is a form of aggressive behavior that often occurs during childhood and adolescence, potentially impacting students’ psychological and social development.Purpose and scope of the paper: This community service initiative aimed to enhance fifth-grade students’ knowledge and preventive attitudes toward bullying through an interactive and visually engaging educational program conducted at SDN Hargomulyo I, Gunungkidul. Methods: The program involved 24 fifth-grade students and was carried out in three stages: a pretest to assess baseline knowledge and attitudes, delivery of educational material using animated videos and interactive presentations, and a posttest to measure changes after the intervention. Due to the small sample size and non-parametric data characteristics, the Wilcoxon test was used for statistical analysis. Results: The intervention resulted in a significant improvement in both knowledge and attitudes toward bullying. The mean knowledge score increased from 4.50 to 5.67 (p = 0.000), while the mean attitude score improved from 20.75 to 23.13 (p = 0.002).Conclusion: The interactive educational program was effective in increasing students’ awareness and rejection of bullying. These results underscore the value of early, participatory, and visually supported educational strategies in fostering a safe and inclusive school environment. The program model is suitable for replication in other schools as part of broader character education and bullying prevention efforts.

Abstract

Various environmental problems exist in the northern coast area of Semarang, Indonesia, including land subsidence, tidal flooding, increased chloride content in several monitoring wells, and salinity in resident wells. These issues indicate a decrease in groundwater quality caused by seawater intrusion. Sanitary and health issues have a significant impact on many environmental issues, including decreased soil fertility and building damage. The problem of seawater intrusion can be identified by the geoelectric resistivity method (multi-electrode dipole-dipole configuration). The aim of this research is to detect the presence of seawater intrusion in groundwater zones and determine the extent of its distribution to the mainland. Data collection was carried out along the western canal flood. The data obtained distribution of subsurface apparent resistivity values. Interpretation of the 2D cross-sectional model identified as a seawater intrusion zone with low resistivity (𝜌 < 3 Ω m) ranging from 0-2.600 m. Thick in the northward with a depth of 30-60 m and becomes thin in the south at 2.600 m. At a trajectory 2.600-7.000 m low resistivity is still found in a local spot. The result of the 2D cross-section model inversion shows very good result. Predicted data is quite close to the observed data shown by an average small RMS 2.37% - 4.11%. And shown by a fast convergence curve. The coastal area of Semarang is also found to be made up of five layers: alluvial soft clay, silt clay, sandy clay, granule sand, and coarse sand. These results fit with the well log data around the research area. Estimates of the distribution of seawater intrusion in more detail to the mainland need to be further investigated using other geophysical methods and testing of monitoring wells or resident wells around the research area for more accurate results.

Abstract

Abstract

Fink’s taxonomy is a learning model of six interrelated elements that can be used for the development of learning goals and create significant learning. However, there has been limited discussion about the development trend of Fink’s taxonomy systematically. This study aims to identify trends in previous research that employed Fink’s taxonomy based on countries and current years, as well as the diversity of definitions of Fink’s taxonomy. This systematic review follows systematic reviews and meta-analyses (PRISMA) criteria and utilizes three main databases: Scopus, Web of Science, and ERIC. A total of 16 articles met the given criteria, and empirical results report that most studies on Fink’s taxonomy were conducted in the United States, with the highest number of articles published in 2020. Furthermore, the diversity of definitions of Fink’s taxonomy identified three themes which are producing significant learning, an approach that creates permanent changes in students, and focusing on the affective domain. The findings have significant implications through the introduction and understanding of Fink’s taxonomy. This trend can serve as a reference for the ministry of education and other stakeholders in the empowerment of Fink’s taxonomy in education. The study can be expanded by introducing new constructs for Fink’s taxonomy in the local context.

Abstract

Health knowledge is a fundamental factor in maintaining the well-being of individuals and communities. Women play a central role as agents of change in promoting healthy lifestyle behaviors. This activity aims to conduct online health education to improve women's health knowledge. The educational intervention was conducted online, covering topics such as healthy lifestyles, women's roles, and the creation of a healthy generation, accompanied by pretests and posttests to assess changes in knowledge. The results showed a significant increase in knowledge scores, from an average of 3.94 to 4.76 after the intervention (p < 0.05). Online education offers advantages such as ease of access, time flexibility, and empowerment potential for women who often carry dual roles in both family and community settings. However, challenges remain, including internet access limitations and the lack of face-to-face interaction. Online health education has proven effective in enhancing women's health knowledge and should be further developed through improved technical infrastructure and diverse educational content to ensure sustainable long-term impact.

Abstract

Adolescent mental health has emerged as a pressing global concern, particularly in light of the growing and intensive use of social media among high school students. While social media platforms offer avenues for communication and self-expression, they also contribute to adverse psychological outcomes, including anxiety, stress, and depression. This study explores the role of social determinants—such as socioeconomic status, family dynamics, peer support, and digital literacy—in shaping the mental health effects of social media use among adolescents. Employing a literature review methodology, the study analyzed 25 relevant national and international journal articles sourced via Google Scholar using the keywords: “social determinants,” “social media,” “mental health,” and “adolescents.” The findings reveal a strong correlation between frequent social media engagement and heightened mental health disorders, exacerbated by contextual factors such as inadequate parental supervision, limited emotional support, and peer norms that prioritize online validation. These insights underscore the urgent need for integrated, cross-sectoral interventions involving families, schools, and community stakeholders. Strengthening adolescents’ psychosocial resilience through targeted digital literacy education and robust social support systems is essential to mitigate the negative impacts of social media and promote overall mental well-being.

Abstract

The rapid expansion of telemedicine and wearable health devices has intensified the demand for energy-efficient and adaptable embedded systems capable of supporting real-time, reliable remote health monitoring. This review provides a comprehensive survey of reconfigurable embedded platforms—focusing on field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs), coarse-grained reconfigurable arrays (CGRAs), and heterogeneous system-on-chips (SoCs)—deployed for monitoring critical physiological parameters such as electrocardiogram (ECG), oxygen saturation (SpO₂), and body temperature. We analyze co-design methodologies that integrate artificial intelligence (AI-driven) neural accelerators, quantization strategies, and runtime adaptability to address the competing requirements of low power consumption, data integrity, and latency minimization in diverse telemedicine contexts. The paper highlights the strengths and limitations of conventional versus reconfigurable approaches, reviews case studies in wearable and implantable health devices, and underscores key design trade-offs in performance, scalability, and security. By systematically mapping current innovations and identifying unresolved challenges—including standardization, clinical validation, and secure edge integration—this review positions reconfigurable architectures as a cornerstone for next-generation, patient-centric remote health monitoring. Future directions emphasize AI-enabled adaptability, sustainable and carbon-aware device design, and personalized healthcare through adaptive embedded systems, charting a pathway toward scalable and resilient telemedicine ecosystems.
