Abstract

Pendidikan berkualitas merupakan pilar utama dalam membangun bangsa yang kompetitif. Namun, rapor mutu pendidikan di SDN 036 Ujungberung masih menghadapi tantangan dalam aspek literasi, numerasi, dan kualitas pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran analisis SWOT (Kekuatan, Kelemahan, Peluang, Ancaman) dan PEST (Politik, Ekonomi, Sosial, Teknologi) dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa analisis SWOT dan PEST berperan penting dalam membantu kepala sekolah merancang strategi yang fokus pada peningkatan pengembangan karakter, literasi, serta iklim keamanan satuan pendidikan. Meskipun demikian, perbaikan dalam aspek numerasi dan kualitas pembelajaran masih diperlukan. Secara keseluruhan, analisis SWOT dan PEST terbukti efektif sebagai media informasi dalam pengambilan keputusan strategis untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di SDN 036 Ujungberung, sehingga lebih terarah dan berdampak positif.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the implementation of character education at Hidayatul Faizien Islamic Boarding School in Garut which combines formal and non-formal curriculum in shaping students' character. This research uses a qualitative approach, observation methods, and in-depth interviews with pesantren administrators and teachers. The results showed that character education at Hidayatul Faizien Islamic Boarding School was carried out through an exemplary approach, strengthening moral values, and disciplinary training. The ustadz acts as a behaviour model that shows discipline and responsibility, which is then imitated by the santri in everyday life. In addition, special programmes such as Ta'lim wa Tarbiyah and cooperation activities strengthen moral and social values in santri. The effect of this character education is seen in the social attitudes of santri, who are more tolerant, empathetic, and have high social responsibility. In conclusion, an integrated approach that includes moral knowledge, feelings, and actions at Hidayatul Faizien Islamic Boarding School has holistically shaped students' character. This study suggests that the character education model in this pesantren can be applied in other educational institutions to build the character of the younger generation with integrity.

Abstract

Pendidikan Islam di Indonesia menghadapi tantangan dalam mengintegrasikan pengetahuan agama dan pengetahuan umum di tengah perubahan sosial dan perkembangan teknologi. Ibnu Sina menawarkan konsep pendidikan yang menekankan keseimbangan antara aspek intelektual dan moral. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi relevansi pemikiran Ibnu Sina dalam pendidikan Islam dan penerapannya di Yayasan Faidhul Ulum Attadziriyah Karawang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan analisis dokumen kurikulum. Teknik triangulasi digunakan untuk memastikan keabsahan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi pengetahuan agama dan pengetahuan umum telah diterapkan melalui metode pembelajaran yang holistik dan inovatif. Penggunaan teknologi meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa, sementara pendidikan karakter berdasarkan pemikiran Ibnu Sina membantu siswa mengembangkan nilai-nilai moral dan pemikiran kritis. Pemikiran Ibnu Sina memiliki relevansi yang tinggi dalam pendidikan agama Islam modern. Integrasi antara pengetahuan dan inovasi pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dan membentuk siswa yang memiliki pengetahuan dan karakter yang baik.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the paradigm shift of teachers in performance management through the Merdeka Mengajar Platform. In line with the advancement of technology and evolving educational policies, especially in the era of digital transformation, Merdeka Mengajar Platform has become a key platform for teachers to enhance the quality of learning. This research employs a qualitative approach with case studies from several schools that have implemented the platform. The data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis related to the implementation of Merdeka Mengajar Platform in classrooms. The findings indicate that the use of this platform encourages teachers to adapt to technology-based learning approaches, focusing on autonomy, innovation, and the enhancement of professional skills. Teachers have started managing their performance more efficiently, developing more creative teaching methods, and becoming more responsive to students' needs. This paradigm shift also impacts time management and learning evaluation, making them more flexible and data-driven. Thus, the study concludes that Merdeka Mengajar Platform not only facilitates teachers in managing their performance but also significantly contributes to improving the quality of education in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research discusses the management of individual and group counseling in efforts to prevent bullying at SDN Tipar. The research focus includes planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating counseling programs. This research uses a case study method with a qualitative approach, where data is collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The research subjects consisted of school principals, teachers, students, and parents who were involved in bullying prevention programs. The research results show that counseling planning is carried out systematically in one semester, starting with an initial assessment and data collection on at-risk students. Organizing the program involves forming a Bullying Prevention Team consisting of teachers, homeroom teachers, school principals, as well as anti-bullying student ambassadors. Program implementation includes individual counseling for students who experience bullying, group counseling to increase social awareness, as well as social skills training through discussion and simulation methods. Program evaluations are carried out regularly through surveys, interviews, and monitoring student behavior to measure program effectiveness. The findings of this research show that a systematic and collaborative management approach can reduce the number of bullying cases and increase students' awareness of the negative impacts of bullying. The evaluation results also showed positive behavioral changes in students who were previously involved in bullying cases. Thus, the management of structured individual and group counseling can be an effective strategy in creating a safe and comfortable school environment for all students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of school principal's guidance based on collaborative methods in optimizing the effectiveness of teacher learning groups at SDN Palasari, Cipanas District. The main focus of the research includes planning, organizing, implementing, supervising, and evaluating the guidance of school principals in supporting the development of teacher professionalism and improving the quality of learning. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method to understand in depth the process of implementing the principal's guidance in the context of elementary schools. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and documentation studies. Data analysis was carried out using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, which included data reduction, data presentation, and inductive conclusions. The results of the study show that guidance planning is carried out through teacher needs analysis, competency mapping, and the preparation of mentoring and coaching-based programs. Organizing involves the formation of study groups by appointing competent coordinators and facilitators, as well as optimal use of resources. The implementation of guidance is carried out in a participatory manner through lesson study methods, peer teaching, and reflective discussions based on digital technology to strengthen teachers' professional interactions. Supervision is implemented through classroom observation, analysis of learning documents, and joint reflection to ensure program effectiveness and support continuous improvement. The evaluation was carried out formatively and summatively using various instruments, such as satisfaction surveys, reflective interviews, and classroom supervision, to measure the impact of the program on improving teacher competence and student learning outcomes. The findings of this study show that a systematic and sustainable collaborative approach under the guidance of principals contributes significantly to increasing the effectiveness of teacher-learning groups. This case study confirms that collaborative-based guidance of school principals can build a culture of teacher professionalism, encourage learning innovation, and contribute to improving the quality of education in schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategies used by teachers in the teaching and learning process of children with dyspraxia in regular schools, as well as the challenges faced in accommodating children's special needs. The method used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach, involving observation and interviews with teachers at RA Takhrimah Tungkop, Aceh Besar. Data analysis used in this study used narrative analysis. The findings of the study indicate that teachers apply a holistic, adaptive, and collaborative approach, with learning differentiation strategies that include the use of visual aids and task simplification. Providing clear and gradual instructions, accompanied by repetition and direct guidance, has been shown to be effective in improving children's understanding and engagement. The results of this study recommend that teachers be given training on dyspraxia and inclusive classroom management, as well as providing supporting facilities to create a more conducive learning environment. With the implementation of the right strategies, it is hoped that children with dyspraxia can develop optimally and gain meaningful learning experiences in regular schools

Abstract

The study is set against the backdrop of a phenomenon that occurs in society today, regarding the numberof attitudes or behavior and moral decline that is often shown by student, which worries all parties, including school institusions. As an educational institution, school make it possible to create learning activities related to character to strengthening in children, because education in school is formulated in an orderly manner compared to other education, so that schools have an important and strategic role in realizing a generation of people who have good character. To achieve these expectations, scholls should be able to design, plan, implement, supervise, and assessment the strengthening of reeligius and moral characters through learning Islamic Religious Education. TKQ Al Amin and TKQ Al Musyawaroh are schools that carry out management activities in PAI learning to strengthen the religious and moral character of student. This study aims to determine the planning, implementation, and learning assessment of Islamic education learning to strengthen religious and moral characters. The results of this study can contribute and broaden insights to the school principal, teachers of TKQ, chief organization of TKQ , and parents of students about management of Islamic education learning to strengthen religious and moral character. The study used qualitative descriptive methods, data collection techniques conducted with interviews, observation, and documentary studies. This study uses the teory of management functions.s Research shows that learning management activities at TKQ Al Amin and TKQ Al Musyawaroh have appeared to be developing quite well, visible from: 1) the availability of learning planning activities, such as: organizing the annual vision, mission, and learning program, semester program, weekly and daily activities plan. 2) the implementation of learning is held to religious and moral character through regular and spontaneous imitation and habituation, through the learning stages i.e , early learning activities, core activities, breaks, and closing activities. 3) learning assessment covers all aspects of child development which is implemented by observation, checklists, oral and non-verbal tests. 4) inhibiting factors and supporting factors provide the motivation for more optimal learning programs.

Abstract

The Kiai's leadership style and role is the most essential factor in determining policies and even strategies to address problematic issues. Therefore, a study of the impact of the style and role of Kiai leadership in Islamic boarding schools is very important to do, because the leadership of a Kiai will certainly have a major impact on the progress of Islamic boarding schools, especially in the formation and strengthening of students with character, discipline and high creativity in accordance with the educational goals of the Islamic boarding school. boarding school. In the Qur'an, it is revealed that Allah created humans on this earth, one of which is a leader who is able to regulate and maintain nature properly and does not cause damage. Judging from the leadership criteria, rationalism and humanism leadership are more suitable to be applied by leaders. Leadership is the process of influencing a person/group in activities to achieve certain goals. This study aims to analyze the impact of the Kiai's leadership style and role in strengthening the disciplined character of students at Al Jumhuriyah Islamic Boarding School Subang. The approach used in this research is qualitative research with the type of research being case studies. The data analysis in this research is in the form of descriptive data analysis techniques, namely the analysis method in the form of words. The results found in the field in this study are the impact of the Kiai's leadership style and role in strengthening the disciplined character of students at Al Jumhuriyah Islamic Boarding School Subang which has been seen in changes in the personality of students in actions and speech. These changes arise from the style and role of the Kiai in leading. The Kiai's democratic and charismatic leadership style and the Kiai's role as caregivers, role models for parents, leaders, motivators provide strengthening of the character of students in tolerance of groups, simple life, honesty, patience, sincerity, independence and confidence in changing for the better. Barriers in strengthening the character of students are influenced by internal and external factors. The solution to these obstacles can be overcome by applying the method of character education, namely habituation, exemplary and management of pesantren education. Therefore, in leading a pesantren, a Kiai should have a style and role in carrying out his leadership, so that it will have a positive impact on the disciplined character of the santri, and that has been done by Kiai Deden Al Jamhuri, S. H. I in strengthening the disciplinary character of the santri at the Modern Al Islamic Boarding School Jumhuriyah.
